Room was huge, couches folded out to a bed. Clean, waterfont. Amazing friendly staff. Very personal.

They are beautiful rooms facing the sea. The place is somewhat hidden, because it is behind a car wash and you access it from the side. But it is absolutely worth it. It is a super nice and helpful family that makes you feel like they attend to you with their heart. It is not luxurious, but it is IMPECCABLE with large, very comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Excellent value for money. 100% recommended, from its terrace you can see sea turtles!

Great place to stay for a couple of nights, all basic ammenities are met and for the price you pay it will exceed your expectations. Location is amazing but the best part of the accomodation are the hosts, they will help you with Whale shark exploration, transport and any intel locally. Would be happy to recommend anyone looking for a budget friendly short term accomodation.

Maybe located behind a car wash makes it feel a little less welcoming.

Service Laundry parfait On peut commander nos repas et se faire livrer pour manger sur la terrasse. Pas très loin à pieds de l'embarcadère pour Bohol. Environ 10 min

La douche est complètement a refaire. L'eau n'était coule pas assez. C'est très difficile de se rincer. La porte de la douche ne ferme plus. Il sera important de la changer.

Nous sommes restés qu'une nuit pour notre transition vers Bohol et nous regrettons presque de ne pas avoir eu plus de temps. Accueil et petites attentions super, clim, frigo, café, eau. La terrasse face à la mer pour déjeuner et manger.👍 Et l'escalier à descendre pour plonger directement dans l'eau transparente. Super logement.

La chambre a 2 lits doubles + 2 lits d'appoint mais sur Booking, le système indiquait une réservation pour 4 et proposait une autre chambre pour la 5eme personne. J'ai pris le risque de réserver et contacté directement l'établissement après la réservation et tout était ok. C'est dommage, la gestion des réservations pour 5 et des lits d'appoints est mal géré sur Booking car nous aurions pu passer à côté de ce logement.

Хороший чистый большой номер, хорошая беседка со столиком , с которого открывается вид на океан. Ужинать под шум волн- прекрасно 😍…. Недалеко от отеля плавают черепашки. Минус номера , что в номере на 2этаже плохой напор воды. Временами прям очень плохой, но мы как-то приспосабливались. Самое главное , мы выбрали этот отель , потому что прочитали , что хорошо организовывают экскурсию к акулам. И по приезду мы сначала хотели сами съездить к акулам , на водопад , про остров даже не думали… Потом всё же решили взять экскурсию сразу на 3 направления в 1 день и это потрясающе! Организация на высшем уровне. За двоих за акул, остров и водопад мы заплатили 4800 песо, это без ланча. Рекомендую отель и экскурсию от отеля

Уникальное расположение дома, на нулевой линии, виды фантастические. Романтические вечера обеспечены. Даже в период отливов можно купаться. Рядом с отелем плавают морские черепахи только для вас 💔. Персонал всегда готов помочь. Рядом с домом есть большой супермаркет, с классной детской комнатой (нам было очень актуально), много кафе, массажи - вся инфраструктура рядом. Мы забронировали на 3 дня, а остались на 5, остались бы еще дольше, но было занято. Спасибо Евелин!

На втором этаже очень слабый напор воды из душа. Можно добавить полочки в ванной комнате.

It's a quaint little place. Don't expect hotel extravagance and your expectations and experience should be fine. The best part about this place is that it is just next to the beach, literally. The host is friendly and respectful. She can organise the trip to whale shark, sumilan island and tumalog falls for you if needed. Which includes all the cost for the guide, car and fees. It's about a 15 min walk to the main hub if you want to find something to eat. Didn't mind the walk but the locals will catch a tuktuk. Not much to do here except whale watching which was fantastic.

The electrical plugs are hard to find. Behind the bed and on a wall far from the bed with no table. Not a great convenient place to charge phones. The tv does not work either but we didn't stay long.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We even wanted to extend it, but unfortunately the room was no longer available. The room was spacious, the air conditioning was quiet, and there was always hot water in the shower. We also appreciated the free drinking water. The wifi was a bit weak in the room, but I was still able to work remotely without any problems. The best part was definitely the terrace with a sea view—we saw so many turtles from there! The staff also helped us organize a whale shark trip, which was truly a highlight of our Philippines trip.

Our hosts Evelyn and her husband were so so lovely. Very helpful organising our tours, recommendations for places to eat and even helped us hail the bus for our trip back to Cebu City so we could get an air-conditioned bus. Their driver, Eddie who took us on our tours was also great. The location was fantastic! Beautiful terrace down to the beach right from the accommodation was a huge plus. We even saw turtles while snorkelling out the back of the hotel. Comfy beds as well. Convenient location, short walk to restaurants and 7-11 in town. 20 minute drive from whale sharks in Oslob. A few reviews mentioned water pressure but it wasn't really an issue and is pretty standard for that part of the Phillipines. Don't let this deter you from staying at Melronz, you won't want to miss out!

The room was great although basic . Of course , Evelyn and her husband's reputation of being so helpful and friendly preceeds them and it is so true . Don't fret about any plans as they go out of their way to assist. Jerry , the tok tok driver who helps with transport is such a stunning person . We even asked them to have a barbecue of baby tuna's with us for lunch and Evelyn supplied the steamed rice for us . It was as if we were family .

Not much to do in Oslob except , of course , whale shark diving which I now regard as a bit overated . To many people being herded around in the amount of swimming area condoned off for the 3 or so whale sharks . It is an experience I suppose but not in any way special . Mexico offers a better experience ..

Everything was amazing, especially the kind owners of the property. Evelyn was very talkative and a lovely person. She was always available and helped me with the shark observation. Her driver friend was also an amazing guy. I’m really glad I booked the experience this way. Although we had to wait in line for a few hours (which is almost unavoidable for whale shark observation), I was never bored with him. His recommendations were also spot on. The room is amazing—spacious and extremely clean. The view is beautiful, and it’s extraordinary to fall asleep while listening to the waves. There is also a terrace with a spectacular view. Another shoutout to Evelyn’s husband. He came with me and waited until the right bus arrived to take me to Liloan Port. Special thanks to him as well. Overall, their hospitality exceeded my expectations. I’ve visited more than 30 countries, and I’ve rarely experienced such friendliness, except in some Mediterranean countries, including my own. Rodinný podnik, na nezájem hostitelů jsme si nemohli stěžovat. Krásná terasa s výhledem na moře a možnost koupání pod ubytováním s přímým přístupem soukromými schody. Majitelé zařídí různé výlety. Za rohem obchod s levným chlazeným pivkem a základními potravinami a po Oslobu je možné se pohybovat levně tuk-tuky za 15 PHP na osobu. Do centra max 5 minut.

Někoho může zaskočit vstup přes automyčku, ale nic tragického. Počáteční snahy o účtování předčasného check-in o 1 hodinu jsme si včas s majitelkou vyjasnili. Chybí snídaně a náhradní objednaná nestála za to, pak jsem nevyužili.

Bardzo miły pobyt. Czysto. Budynek przy samym morzu, piękny widok. Personel wyjątkowo miły, pomocny. Nie ma śniadania ale można wykupić w restauracji przez drogę. Blisko do dużego centrum handlowego. Polecam to miejsce.

Die Dachterrasse war der Hammer, aber auch die Terrasse im Schatten oder Zuweg zum Wasser. Auch die Betreiberin war sehr hilfsbereit bereit, hat sich um alle Ausflüge gekümmert und uns Essensempfehlungen gegeben. Schade das wir hier nur 2 Nächte waren, wãre gerne länger geblieben.

Prachtige locatie, je loopt zo de zee in om te snorkelen. Prachtige schone kamer met goede bedden, airco,afsluitbare kast,eigen douche. Rooftop voor de sunset, terras begane grond. Vriendelijke gastvrouw, regelt alles, uitstapjes en heeft een uitgebreidde menukaart voor bezorging van goed eten in notime. Gastvrouw is service gericht!

Klein minpuntje, je moet door de werkplaats van hun bedrijf, autocar wash. Maar dat heeft ook wel wat.

Melronz Inn in Oslob is a very basic and simple accommodation. The rooms are clean, but the facilities are quite minimal. In particular, the bathroom and shower do not allow for a truly comfortable shower, as the water pressure is low. The property has direct access to the sea, although there is no beach directly below the accommodation. The entrance can be a bit difficult to find: it is a small gate, located next to a car wash. The family lives in the same courtyard, which is something to be aware of. Rooms are equipped with a kettle with tea and coffee, a small fridge, and very basic furnishings. That said, everything is very clean. What really makes the difference is the service provided by Evelyne. She is extremely precise, organizes your days perfectly, books taxis with drivers/guides, takes care of laundry, orders breakfast to be delivered to the property, and gives many valuable tips. Her support greatly improves the overall experience. If you do not have high expectations for the room—especially the bathroom—it is suitable for one or two nights. A special mention to Evelyne, who truly makes the stay much better.

O prédio e o quarto eram novos. Os funcionários eram super proativos e o café da manhã era muito bom!

Respondi a uma mensagem do hotel atraves do app do booking, porque na Filipinas é um pouco comum atraso e cancelamento de voo e isso iria implicar no meu check in. Eles não responderam e só foram responder depois que eu já tinha ido embora, porque a diária era de um dia. Esse atraso não prejudicou, porém me senti um pouco na mão, e se eu não tivesse encontrado o hotel ou tivesse dificuldade de comunicar algo urgente?

The manager (Evelyn)was awesome. She was very friendly helpful and was able to set up the whale shark watching, island hopping, Tumalog Falls, and the transportation. You could not have asked for any better. It was an awesome adventure.

The bus ride from Cebu City was very bumping and the bus conductor actually messed up and told us we were at our destination when in fact we were around minutes past. So we had to get back to the hotel.

최고의 숙소 가성비. 친절한 오너. 상황에 맞춰서 액티비티도 추천해줌. 액티비티 하면 기사가 한 명 붙어서 전담마크함. 가격이 싼 편은 아닌것 같으니 고려해보고 하는걸 추천.

콘센트가 잘 작동이 안됨. 아마 한국 플러그랑 잘 안맞는거 같음. 한국에서 가져온 충전기였는데 잘 꼽지 않으면 작동이 안됐음. 이런적 처음으로 좀 당황했는데 다른숙소 오니 잘 됨.

1. 고래상어 보는데랑 멂 2. 오슬롭-보홀 페리 예약해주겠다더니 잘못 예약한걸 1시간 전에 알려줌. (이틀 전에 예약함) 결국 40분 차타고 릴로안 포트가서 시간표도 없는 배 한참을 기다려서 시불란 포트에 감. 거기서 다시 두마게티 포트까지 툭툭타고 가서 보홀로 가는 페리 타야했음. 이 루트도 심지어 제대로 안 알려줘서 두마게티에서 보홀로가는 페리 시간에 늦음. 돈과 시간이 두배로 들었고 하루종일 28인치 캐리어 끌고 뛰어다니는 고된 일정 소화하고 나니 열이 펄펄 남. 3. 수압 너무 약해서 물이 나오다가 멈추기도 함. 4. 방에서 와이파이 안됨.

Un super séjour chez Evelyne qui nous a accueilli comme sa propre famille. Elle a été de très bons conseils et recommandations. Nous avons tous vécu les secousses du tremblement de terre et elle a veillé à ce que nous allions bien. La chambre est grande et confortable, à l’écart du bruit de la rue, les pieds dans l’eau avec accès direct à la mer et prêt de chaussons de mer si besoin.

Le seul bémol est le manque de pression d’eau dans la douche.

Nice place, right on the water and perfect for a quick dip. About 1km to a few restaurants and the 7/11 but there is a restaurant just over the road. Lots of tuk tuks - easy and cheap to get around. They organised our whale shark day which was quite amazing. If you’re a confident swimmer hire a GoPro! The island trip was okay. Quite windy when we went and coral wasn’t great. The waterfall was definitely worth a visit.

We loved the family who owned or managed it!!! We loved the sunrise from the deck and looking at the stars from the balcony! We loved walking to nearby local restaurants, the access to the water, and the proximity to the whale sharks and a waterfall.

Having said the above, it isn’t an easy road to walk! Lots of tuk-tuks though!

가이사노몰이 도보로 5분일정도로 가까웠고 새벽에도 체크인 맞아줘서 좋았어요. 수밀론 섬 들어갈때 지프니를 800peso에 불러줬어요. 에어컨이 시원하고 도로 안쪽이라 조용히 잘 수 있었어요.

온수가 안나오고 와이파이가 없는 것. 맥주를 사려고 가이사노몰 인근에 숙박한건데 정작 가이사노몰엔 맥주가 없었던것. 몰근처에 세븐일레븐을 알았어야함.

Evelyn our host was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. She and her husband organised all our tours and other needs (laundry, food, transport and shopping). There are many other resorts around here but if you’re looking for a balance of service, location and value then this is probably going to be your best option. The mall is 6 minutes walking distance away. There’s a BDO bank there and another ATM machine inside.

Was there only to spend the night before going to see whale sharks and then to Moalboal sardine run. Can recommend this itinerary to anyone, certainly beats getting up at 3 AM to get from Cebu. Property satisfied all our requirements: nice, big room, quiet and effective air conditioner (same model as in my home), hot water running without issues, soft, comfortable beds (memory foam but it's fine), quiet location (heard only soothing sounds of the ocean). We slept very well. Didn't visit the beach or turn on the TV so can't comment on that. Owners are very nice people and they can organize excursions to whale shark watching / sardine run. However, a bit of advice: in reality the only thing you need is transportation. The activities themselves are very well organized and you don't need to book ahead (it's not even possible) - just show up early enough to avoid waiting for hours. We arrived at whale shark site at 6 AM and got #127 in the queue, we waited for 1.5 hours for our turn but it didn't feel like a long time at all, since there are places to eat and drink coffee, souvenir shops, etc. Anyway, the only thing you need is some way to get to these places, so you can book a taxi yourself, it's not hard, or hotel owners can do that for you, they quoted us the following taxi prices: 5000 PHP to get to Cebu or 3500 PHP to return to the hotel (this includes drive to the whale sharks, then to Moalboal, then to Cebu or hotel). We decided to rent a car from Cebu airport for 1 day instead (drive to Oslob, sleep in this hotel, then the same itinerary), it costed us 2900 PHP (2000 for car + 900 for 3 hours late return, you might avoid the latter) and worked beautifully. Do mind that driving in the Philippines is crazy, but for me it was fun.

The lady and gentleman who run the accommodation were very nice and wanted to help us with everything. The terrace has a beautiful view of the sea. The accommodation has direct access to the sea. Our room was large and clean. The city center is within walking distance.

The rooms were spacious, with fridge and humidifier and clean. Nicely kept.

It fit our purpose for a one night stay so we could leave early for Whale Sharks in Oslob.

This is a family run place with only two rooms in the building. Friendly staff. Excellent view of the sea from the terrace and from the balcony Evelyn helped arrange rides from Moalboal, our dive excursion and snorkeling with whale sharks, and ride to Cebu. The ride to whale shark was changed from a taxi to tricycle (with a discount) because taxi was not available. It was a blessing in disguise, the tricycle diver (Ritchell?) is so nice and really took care of us, and especially my two kids snorkeling, walking them right to the boat. The room itself was clean, and big enough to fit all five of us. Great views from the room. Property is right on the shore with excellent view and access to the sea. You can walk to town, Gaisano Mall and a bunch of eateries nearby. Tricycle to whale shark took about 20-25 minutes.
