Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Gut war, dass ich bei einer sehr freundlichen Rezeptionistin schon früher einchecken konnte. Die Abwicklung mit Buchung und Bezahlung war unkompliziert. Ich durfte am Abreisetag meinen Koffer noch bis Mittag stehen lassen.
Die "hellhörigen" Wände, bin durch ein Radio im Nebenzimmer früher aufgewacht als ich wollte, das Duschen habe ich deutlich gehört.

Bad: Spiegel so hoch montiert, kaum benutzbar. (Personen 1,64m) . Dusche: Sicherheitsmängel, rutschiger Boden (Sturzgefahr). verrostet. Zimmer: Nachtkästchen völlig zerlumpt, Lade fällt raus. Es ist erstaunlich, dass soetwas noch existiert. Kein Lift.

An einer sehr befahrenen Straße, Bett direkt am Fenster, durch die Holzbalkendecken hört man jeden Schritt aus dem Zimmer darüber, ohne Ohrstöpsel ist man nachts verloren.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Easy walking distance to Linz HBF. Hotel was flexible with late checkin, was possible to check in after normal hours. The rooms were basic, but clean. At this price point in Austria it was as expected. As I just really wanted a place to sleep , and busy outdoors all day, it was perfectly fine, I'd book again if Im on a similar trip.
Room was quite warm, but it was 40 c during the day so an issue in all non air-conditioned rooms.

Ohne Klimaanlage dürfte es an ultraheißen Tagen allerdings sehr heiß sein im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war schlicht aber gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war auf jeden Fall in Ordnung. Ich würde dort wieder übernachten.

Tetőtéri szobát kaptunk, amiben a zuhanyzó a szoba "része" volt, értsd: mindenki láthatja, amint zuhanyzol. Esetleg el lehetne szeparálni, legalább egy paravánnal. Klíma nem volt, de még egy ventillátor sem, azt érdemes beszerelni, mert a tetőablakon keresztül nehezebben szellőzik a szoba. Ha meg nyitva van, behallatszik a forgalom (buli...) zaja.

エレベーターがない点。これはこのホテルに限らないことだが、エアコン（冷房）施設がなく、冷蔵庫もなかったので困った。30度をこえる夏にはつらかった。経営の方針上、夕方～朝7時ごろまではスタッフがおらず、ミルクを作るのにお湯がなくて困った（次の朝ポットを貸してもらえた。親切にありがとう）

Sehr gute Lage fußläufig zur Innenstadt und nur 5 Min zum Musiktheater. Raum zum Abstellen für Fahrräder vorhanden ( sicher verschlossen) Bett bequem. Alles Bestens:-)

# Wir waren bzw. sind davon zwar (noch) nicht betroffen, aber für (ältere) Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen ist leider kein Aufzug vorhanden. # Gepäckaufbewahrung nach Check-out nur bis 17 Uhr möglich, da danach kein Personal mehr im Gebäude ist.

Wir reisten nach Receptionsschliessung an, unser Einlass klappte dennoch wunderbar. Wir erhielten die notwendige Info im Voraus. - Ich denke Preis - Leistung stimmen für diese Stadt.
Ist älteres Haus, aber für eine Übernachtung okay. Ruhige Lage. Die Betten waren uns zu weich.

1) While the linens and towels seemed to be clean, there were dead bugs on the floor, which made it seem like the room wasn't cleaned before I moved in. 2) I stayed there during the almost 40 degrees weather, and when you walked into the room, it was like walking into a car that stood under the sun... it was so warm and stuffy... And while I understand that the weather is not the hotel's fault, I felt they could have provided the guests with at least a little fan for the room (not even asking for air conditioning)... It would have just showed some more care and customer service towards the guests. 3) Lastly, the staff member made a mistake on my receipt, and said only the manager the next morning can correct it. The manager next morning, however, said that the mistake had to be corrected on-the-spot the day before, but that now it was too late. It's only after I really insisted that the mistake was corrected, but they said they couldn't re-print the receipt for me and just sent it by email instead. It was just a bit odd... All of this kind of tarnished the experience a bit, despite the good points mentioned above.

I informed the Hotel, weeks in advance, I will be coming by a train to Linz after 5pm. However, I had limited internet access and THE information regarding self check-in (using a code to obtain room KEY) was given to me in short notice before I reached the Hotel. Thank god my friend (who booked a separate room in the same hotel) was given the self check-in instructions, weeks in advance, and told me to try a certain code similar in nature to his code & it worked. No fan was provided as the room was warm. Wifi was very weak on Floor 3 & didnt work (connected without internet) the next day before I checked out. Room service staff were speaking to each other loudly while making up the other vacant room next to me, although it was morning time (before 8am). I am sure they didn't realize that.

That's really appreciated! If you're lucky enough to get a good room, you'll be all fine. I'm a regular guest here and I'm glad the prices haven't gone up!

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Frühstück war toll und wurde laufend nachgelegt, so daß alles immer ausreichend zur Verfügung stand. Alles was mein Herz begehrte war da.
Zentrale Lage bedeutet leider auch Verkehr und da die Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage ausgestattet sind, muss leider das Fenster temporär geöffnet werden. Diesen Komfort kann ich auch nicht erwarten und vergebe für Preis/Leistungsverhältnis eine glatte 1

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Clean room with good quality bed and pillow. Full amenities (towels, linen etc.) with ensuite WC and shower. Green policy applied although daily cleaning service. Within easy walking distance for central and famous sights of the main city while in a quite area of the city although central one. Variety of cafes, mini-shops/food stores and restaurants/bars close by. Max 5mins walk, depending on pace, from central train station. Generally good value for money among other options, a quality choice although central area of the city! The management team is quite hospitable, has everything planned and serviced inside the facility, as well as kind and prompt to reply, so feel free to ask anything (working hours operation and not 24-hour one).

There is no elevator in the building and I would appreciate if there was a fridge in the room.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Goedkoop voor iets dat bijna een complete hotelkamer is. Geen last gehad van geluid of wat dan ook. Niets speciaals, maar dat hoeft ook niet. Goed is soms gewoon goed genoeg.
De kamer had wel een eigen badkamer, maar geen eigen toilet. Dat was erg vreemd, andersom was logischer geweest, maar misschien kwam het door het beperkingen van het gebouw. Als je 's nachts vaak naar de wc moet is het wel erg irritant dat je de hele tijd een stenen trap op en af moet.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Obwohl das Zimmer nicht viele Quadratmeter umfasste, fühlte ich mich nicht eingeengt. Perfekte Anordnung der Einrichtung, sehr modern und wohnlich.
Der Abfluss des Waschbeckens war leider nicht ganz sauber - da muss man als Gast aber auch erst einmal hinsehen. Ansonsten keine Makel bei der Reinlichkeit.
