Reviewed Jan 26, 2026What a find, fabulous new mountain lodge near the ski slopes in Hasliberg. Lovely dinner, excellent breakfast and a very congenial family running the business. The hotub and sauna aren't featured on the booking.com page for the property, but they are there, and very nice, as is the option to rent cross-country skis in the cellar of the hotel - the hotel is situated on a groomed nordic skiing path.
Not a thing, looking forward to rebooking for next year.

Das Personal war extrem freundlich, die Eigentümer wirken sehr freundlich und bemüht! Außerdem leckeres Frühstück, schöne Aussicht usw.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026The room was clean and comfortable. The area is very peaceful and picturesque. There are a lot of winter activities nearby if there is enough snow, so you don't need to drive/commute much.
The Gadmer lodge restaurant is the only restaurant in the village when the ski slope is closed. Its menu is very limited, so if you are staying there, you will likely end up eating schnitzel + fries as a meat eater or pasta with tomato sauce as a vegetarian twice a day. The service in the restaurant is also pretty slow during dinner time.

Abläufe und Zusammenspiel in Küche und Service haben sich unter der neuen Geschäftsführung noch nicht eingespielt. Lange Wartezeiten beim Essen, ineffiziente Arbeitsorganisation. Essen gut, aber fleischlastig. Kein Joghurt beim Frühstück. Sauna und Wellness muss auch von Hotelgästen separat bezahlt werden.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich sehr mit der Lodge identifizieren und eine herzliche Gastfreundschaft leben. Wunderbare Atmosphäre in der Lodge, sehr schön ausgestattet, man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Tolles Frühstück, auch das Essen am Abend war fein.
Als wir angekommen sind, war es ziemlich laut, aber das lag an den Trychlern, welche in der Lodge gefeiert haben. Als die weg waren, war die Stimmung nachher ganz anders und wir haben den Abend sehr genossen.

Das Einchecken war sehr chaotisch und die Person an der Rezeption war überfordert. Beim Apero musste mann alles 2 bis 3 bestellen bis das gewünschte gebracht wurde.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Wir hatten einen absolut wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar – umgeben von majestätischen Berggipfeln. Das Zimmer war nicht nur makellos sauber und geräumig, sondern bot auch einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf das Panorama, den wir jeden Morgen genossen haben. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend; kein Wunsch war ihnen zu viel. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder und können dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

I’m not a fan of the mattress. It feels like a block of foam. It’s way too hard for my taste, and would have liked something softer. I would recommend mattress toppers.
