Hotel Rheinfels

Überaus stilvolles Hotel in Bestlage (direkt am Rhein) in einer wunderschönen Stadt, die gerade für Gäste, die Übernacht bleiben abends einen ganz eigenen Charme entfaltet, der sich reinen Tagesgästen nicht bietet; das Gebäude selbst ist über 400 Jahre alt, wurde aber sehr stilvoll renoviert und strahlt eine tolle Kombination aus alt und neu aus, was sich auch an den Zimmern zeigt; sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal; Frühstück erfüllt alle Wünsche, das Restaurant selbst wartet mit einer gehobenen, auf Fisch spezialisierten Küche auf; wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

für österreichische Verhältnisse sind die Preise - wie für die Schweiz üblich - sehr gehoben, das gilt es immer zu bedenken (aber natürlich kein Spezifikum dieses Hotels)

Très bel emplacement, un vrai musée à l'intérieur. Restaurant très cher pour un menu quelconque.

The building is very old and although the bathroom had been recently updated the hotel room itself needed renovation. The aircon did not work very well and room fridge was broken.

Very quirky property and a good location. Rooms were a good size and very nice large modern bathroom

Although location was great, it was noisy with the windows open with the traffic and pedestrians. The hotel is expensive, but does not deliver for what we paid. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, tiny reception area, creaking floors, restaurant was closed. It it had been 75% of the price, I would have rated it much higher.

De Locatie aan de Rijn, de mooie kamer met uitzicht op de Rijn en de authentieke stijl van het Hotel. De kamers zien er mooi en ruim uit in de originele staat van vroeger.

Het parkeren is een eind verderop en kan alleen in munten of met de easypark app betaald worden. Hier kan het hotel natuurlijk niets aan doen, maar dat is het beleid van Stein am Rhein. Dit was wel een hindernis.

Hotel precioso, ubicación inmejorable, nosotros llegamos en tren y la estación está muy cerca andando,està justo al lado del centro de este pequeño y precioso pueblo Stein an Rhein.La habitación que nos dieron era fantástica y daba al puente de entrada y al Rin ,con una vista preciosa, a las 10 de la mañana ya pudimos entrar a la habitación.El personal muy amable hablaban algo de español- italiano y se esforzaban mucho para poder entendernos.El desayuno bien, y la comida que hicimos fue degustar un pescado típico el plato fue excelente.

Great location with lovely view over the river and 25 meters from the historic centre. Beautiful town. Stayed here on our bike ride around Lake Constance - such a fun bike ride.

Las habitaciones eras increíbles, espaciosas, con vistas al río, un baño de buen tamaño con todos los accesorios. Este hotel es de en sueño para disfrutarlo en pareja y/o en familia.

The hotel boasts an excellent location and a wonderful sense of the area's history.

位置太好了，就在桥边，走到小镇中心的市政厅1分钟。房间也很宽敞，家庭房就是两个标房联通，有一个公用小空间，可以放行李。含早的房价在瑞士不算贵。酒店的早餐一般，晚餐的鱼不错，当然价格也不菲。

办理入住太麻烦了，需要每个人的信息输入到电脑，耗费了我们很长时间。另外，如果联通房的公共空间里放个桌子和几个椅子，便于交流，就更好了。

das Bett wurde nicht gemacht. Ich musste es selber machen. Ich habe das noch nie erlebt. Ich war schon viele Jahre Gast in diesem Hotel und alles war immer bestens. Dieses Mal aber bin ich extrem nicht zufrieden, da das Bett nicht gemacht und die Papierkörbe nicht geleert wurden. Es wurden lediglich die gebrauchten Handtücher ausgewechselt. Von Ferienstimmung ist dann keine Rede mehr.

Frühstück und Ambiente sowie das nette Personal.

Bett zu weich für mich. Aber kein Weltuntergang.

Das von mir benutzte Zimmer wurde wohl neu ausgestattet. Sehr sauber und schönes, neues Badezimmer. Die Lichtsituation war etwas schwierig, entweder alles oder nichts. Ansonsten sehr schönes, grosses Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den Rhein. Frühstück tiptop, hat alles was man möchte. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Etwas mehr Steckdosen im Zimmer. Die moderne Nachttischlampe mit Bewegungsmelder ist mitten in der Nacht angegangen, musste sie dann vom Stecker ziehen., da sie sich nicht mehr ausschalten liess. Ansonsten ist das Hotel wirklich etwas in die Tage gekommen mit den dunklen Gängen. Aber egal, Hauptsache die Zimmer sind neu. Ich kann sonst nichts beanstanden.

Una struttura che conserva atmosfere tradizionali, molto suggestive. Ottima vista sul fiume. Ristorante curato e con bella terrazza per l'estate. Menù tradizionale a base di pesce del lago. Colazione ben allestita, con un buffet completo in cui spiccano la qualità del pane e dei formaggi, ma sono buoni anche i croissant.

Da sehr hohe Außentemperaturen waren, waren wir glücklich über die gute Klimaanlage im Zimmer.Auch der Aufzug war wunderbar.Das E-bike konnte im Abstellraum direkt aufgeladen werden. Die Matratze war himmlisch, ich habe wunderbar geschlafen. Und das Frühstück auf der Terrasse direkt am Wasser- perfekt. Die Lage des Hotels: top.

We stayed at Hotel Rheinfels for two nights. Everything was exceptional: the location of the hotel, our room, the service, the delicious breakfast and lunch, the hospitable staff, ... The hotel building dates back a few centuries, which gives it a good vibe also.

Nagyon tiszta,modern technika,esztétikus berendezés,rendkívül kedves személyzet,csodás reggeli a folyóparton.

A megközelítése kocsival,ki-be pakolás nehézséges ha nincs hely a szembenlévő kis parkolóban.

Otel çok eski ama odalar temiz düzenli ve konforluydu. Kahvaltısı çok güzel ve yeterliydi. Çalışanlar yardımcı ve guzelyuzlu idi .odada klima vardı. Küçük bi ada var yürümeyi unutmayın .sabah eski şehir sokaklarında kaybolun. Konumu nehire sıfır biz 23 numarada kaldık harikaydı teşekkür ve tavsiye ederim 😌💫🫶🏻

Otoapark bı tık sıkıntı valiz bırakmak için tam önünde kısa süreli yer var . Ama tren istasyonunun orda park and rail bölgesinde 6 chf karşılığı tüm gün bırakabiliyorsunuz .

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, so direkt am Rhein und an der wunderschönen Altstadt. Wir waren überrascht, dass der tagsüber doch anhaltende Strassenlärm von Autos und Motorradfahrer in der Nacht abgeflaut ist, so dass wir auch bei geöffnetem Fenster ruhig schlafen konnten. Das Frühstücksbüffet war ausgezeichnet und das Personal erkundigte sich mehrmals, ob wir noch etwas zusätzliches wünschen würden.

Da es an den Fenster im Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Rhein keinen Insektenschutz hat, sammelten sich abends viele kleine Mücken. zu unserer grossen Überraschung waren es jedoch keine Stechmücken und so wurden wir durch diese kleinen Tierchen nachts nicht um den Schlaf gebracht... wir waren sehr froh darüber, denn es gibt nichts Unangenehmeres als das Surren und das Stechen solcher Plagegeister die einem den Schlaf rauben können.

I had a lovely experience at this hotel. The atmosphere and location are unbeatable for Stein am Rhein — it was so lovely to have my breakfast on the terrace every morning. The service from the staff was wonderful; I felt genuine warmth and connection when they remembered my coffee order, etc. each time, and they were very helpful and communicative with my late check-in. It was very easy for my to enter after reception had closed. Areas for improvement: - The wi-fi in my room on the 2nd floor was very poor and unstable. This posed some major difficulties as I had to take some business meetings and ended up having to find other facilities in town. - It would be great if all of the windows facing the Rhein had screen doors - in the evenings opening the windows for more than a few seconds would let in innumerable mosquitos. - A little more could be done to accommodate guests with different dietary restrictions. I am vegan and was very excited to see the vegetarian Zürcher Geschnetzeltes on the dinner menu (with Planted vegan protein) but they were unable to make the sauce vegan (though they have oat milk available - it could have been possible!). They did offer vegan yoghurt and oat milk upon request for breakfasts, which was wonderful. A few extra steps like the possibility of vegan butter / margarine for bread and to be able to make the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes would have been fantastic! For my one dinner at the hotel I had the red curry, which was vegan and delicious. I appreciated that there were options! Overall a wonderful stay, and I would heartily recommend it. These small complaints reflect only that the hotel is a little old-fashioned, which is of course what you would expect in the location and it is absolutely part of the hotel's charm and atmosphere.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, besonders hat uns die wunderbare Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf den Rhein gefallen. Auch das Fisch-Menu war außergewöhnlich und sehr lecker

Allenfalls Fliegengitter an den Fenstern könnten noch eine Verbesserung möglich machen.

The hotel was lovely with an assortment of fascinating artifacts such as suits of armour and a stuffed polar bear! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were cycling and were able to lock our bikes in their garage. The terrace looks out over the start of the Rhine; it was a lovely place for an evening drink or breakfast.

We hadn't paid for breakfast in advance and I don’t think the hotel staff were expecting us to attend on Wednesday morning. We made the mistake. What was left was paltry. It turned out to be expensive for the fayre on offer. With hindsight, I think things might have been better had we booked breakfast in advance especially as the hotel closed early on Wednesdays.

Das gesamte Personal ist soo herzlich,wir kamen etwas früher und bekamen gleich eiskaltes Wasser,da es sehr heiss war. Es wurde oft nach unserem Befinden gefragt, mit der Fahrradgarage hat auch alles geklappt. Wir fühlten uns willkommen.

Die Brötchen zum Frühstück sind etwas trocken...
