Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Eine persönliche Ansprache, sehr gutes Essen, direkt am Wasser (Suite). Insgesamt merkt man an eigener Stellen bei der Ausstattung noch, dass es gerade im Wandel ist.
Nur der Staub auf dem Klimagerät und, dass die Tassen nicht unter die Nespresso passten. Originalkapseln finde ich auch besser als die No-Name.

החדר הראשון שקבלנו דמתה למערה החליפו והחדר היה טוב , אבל! בלי מעלית עלינו 3 קומות עם המזוודות בלי מזגן,מקרר ,מגהץ, פתחנו חלון, ארוחת בוקר עניה, שילמנו מחיר גבוה ללא הצדקה, במלונות הקודמים שילמנו פחות ממאה יורו ויותר שאין להשוות למה שקבלנו שהיו ברמה מעולה

Wir hatten die Suite 1 mit außergewöhnlicher Ausstattung und Blick auf den Rhein (selbst aus der Wanne). Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lademöglichkeiten für die Akkus der E-Bike gab es direkt im Unterstellraum. Das historische Gebäude und dann das moderne Ambiente in der Suite waren super. Tolles Frühstück.
Es gab zum Frühstück keine Roggenbrötchen - aber das ist Jammern auf ganz hohen Niveau weil es sonst perfekt war.

Very nice and helpful staff who changed our room from the last floor (3rd) to the second floor which was a big plus as there was a slightly better temperature in the room (outside was very hot and the location has no air conditioning due to being a historic building).
Better solution to be able to cool down the rooms during hot summer day would be a plus.

Für die enorme Hitze 2026 kann niemand was dafür, am frühen morgen war es sogar frisch kühl! Viele Stufen, ein Lift ist im historischen Gebäude gewiss unmöglich.

Wir haben in unserem Zimmer bis tief in die Nacht wegen der hohen Temperaturen geschwitzt, das Problem ist bekannt aber wegen des Denkmalschutzes nicht einfach zu lösen, ich hoffe dass das gelingt weil sonst war das Zimmer geschmackvoll modernisiert und auch die Betten waren sehr angenehm

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026The hotel was in the centre of the small town but overlooked the river. We decided to eat at the hotel and the food was exceptional. The breakfast was also first class. Christian and all the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I cannot fault this hotel at all. There is a ferry directly on the river that can take you to the Rhine falls but is often not running the full way due to the river level. You can however get the train to the falls and the station is about a 15 minutes walk from the hotel . Would highly recommend this hotel.
Depending which room you book, some are quite small but others are very spacious and beautiful.

Ensuite l'hôtel est super bien placé au bord du Rhin. le personnel était très bien surtout la dame du petit déjeuner. La chambre était très propre spacieuse et très belle salle de bain.. Nous avons très bien dormi et pas un bruit de l'extérieur.. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le petit déjeuner et ses choix multiples .. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de tester le restaurant

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026The friendly welcoming staff from moment one was so nice! Noli, Visnic, Christian, Daniel, Rebecca made our one night stay so lovely we wanted more! We had a timing schedule or we would have booked more nights even tho the stairs to our room were steep! 3 levels up with a badly twisted knee wasn’t fun. However….the kindness & friendliness of the staff and our exceptional dinner outside under large umbrellas made up for that discomfort. An incredible meal! Visnic, our main server was kind, attentive & made suggestions. Christian kindly spent a lot of time with my husband & me choosing the right wine which was very good, & it was fun chatting with him & our servers. We shared an excellent Chilled Tomato Soup with feta & chopped bacon I believe & a lovely Salad with warm goat cheese & thinly sliced fresh garden Beets. I chose Trout with an incredible Riesling cream sauce, it was accompanied by roasted potatoes & vegetables. My husband chose the Sea Bass (with crispy skin) with the same vegetables. It was all so good we couldn’t stop raving about it to the staff. We finished with the perfect warm Apple Strudel, a thin pastry over very fresh flavor packed apple slices. I would take the Chef and the staff home with us if we could. This was a very memorable meal & one of the highlights of our time in Switzerland June 2026!
We loved Hotel Rheingerbe so much I hate to mention the stairs, which are steep. Owners would have an lift but the hotel is classified as a historic building so it’s not allowed. They are trying to figure something out.

Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung, recht klein und etwas eng für diesen Preis, aber für eine Nacht ausreichend. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und man konnte extra Omelettes oder belegtes Toast….. bestellen. Das Restaurant , welches zum Hotel gehört hatte den Blick zum Rhein und das Essen war lecker. Das Personal selber war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer für eine kleinen Spaß zu haben.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für die Zimmer war nicht angepasst.
