Je pense que les chambres n'ont pas dû être rafraichies depuis de nombreuses années ! Absence de réfrigérateur. Aucun plat traditionnel suisse proposé au restaurant. Prix très excessif des chambres.

Breakfast was limited to a few options. The only meat options available were pork products, with no alternatives such as chicken or turkey. It would be great if the hotel could offer more variety to accommodate guests who do not eat pork.

J avais pris 1 single avec vue sur la montagne j ai eu 1 double avec vue sur le Lac et 1 tres grand balcon. C est magique de se réveiller avce une telle vue et le soir également...Très propre. Literie confortable. Buffet du petit dej super, tres varié. Je recommande +++

A lovely warm welcome from the staff. Breakfast was continental which was to be expected. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel !

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Das Zimmer mit Bergblick war für uns super. Die blickgeschützte Terrasse hat uns sehr gefallen. Sehr ruhiges Zimmer, ausreichend Platz. Generell sehr ruhig im Hotel, überwiegend Paare und ältere Gäste, für uns war das super. Lage direkt am See. Man kann vor der Haustür ins Wasser gehen, wenn auch ohne Strand. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Sehr guter Kaffee. Man kann draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen. Hotel und Einrichtung sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.
Nicht wirklich schlecht, aber als Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Abendessen muss man morgens vorbestellen. Allerdings hatten wir Glück und haben einmal ohne Vorbestellung auf Nachfrage doch ein Abendessen bekommen. Preis war ziemlich hoch, allerdings für Schweizer Verhältnisse relativ normal.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026We arrived a couple of minutes later than the last check in time of 22:00, still the staff were very very helpful and understanding with our situation. I really appreciate the front desk lady's assistance late at night. There is a very lovely lake view in front of the hotel and our room was looking at the nice mountain view. It was pretty dark and quite at night. There is a extended balcony in the room with an open sky/mountain view. Me and my partner watched the stars and I saw one of the biggest shooting stars in my entire life. It took 1/5 of my field of view, visible for almost a second and was probably a meteor that fell to a nearby mountain. It was a spectacular view. There is a bus station in front of the hotel to go towards the city. When you book the accommodation they give you a ticket that works in whole interlaken central area and gives discounts in other stuff around the city. That was pretty neat as well. Before I forget, I should also mention. In most of the hotels they are pretty sharp with their dining schedule. For example, if a breakfast is said to end at 10:00 you cant get anything after that. Since we had several days of trekking in the Alps, we were exhausted and in the morning a bit overslept. This place was great in the sense that they were very patient with us finishing our breakfast and continue to pick stuff up even after the time that marks the end of breakfast. I am nothing but thankful.
Rooms were a little warm, but considering it was one of the hottest times in the history of the region (millions of years old glaciers are melting), maybe a little warmer room wasn't their fault to be honest :)

The breakfast was good, but it would be appreciated if the hotel could offer a few more suitable options for guests with sensitive digestive conditions, such as IBS. This would make an already excellent stay even better.

Am 1. Morgen fehlte die Fleischplatte und Fruchtsalat und wurde erst wieder aufgefüllt als die Asiaten gingen. Ich bat das Personal um Essen aber Sie sprach nur Englisch. Auf dem Balkon waren die Stühle defekt, so dass man darauf nicht sitzen konnte.

The room was so cozy and comfortable, the location was lovely and quiet, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! It was also easy to get to the main part of Interlaken during the day with either the bus system or about a 30-40 minute scenic walk from the hotel.
