Eine Oase in der lebhaften Stadt. Mit vielen schönen Details aus der Region angenehm eingerichtet. Viele gemütliche Sitzecken außerhalb des Schlafzimmers laden zum Verweilen ein. Tee am Abend als Willkommensservice. Sehr leckeres und umfangreiches Frühstück. Sehr nettes Personal.

Lo mejor del lugar son unos patios interiores muy bellamente decorados y unas camas muy cómodas.

Lo peor fueron las incomodidades. Veníamos con auto. Supuestamente tienen un “convenio” con un aparcamiento comercial que parecía ser parte de un restaurante al frente. No sé de qué convenio se trataba cuando pagábamos el mismo precio que cualquier otra persona. Además, había alguna historia porque al parecer resulta que lo teníamos que sacar de allí a las 11 antes de que llegara la dueña. La impaciencia de una de las recepcionistas del hotel para que sacáramos el coche de allí era palpable. Algo bastante notable es que…, no había calentador porque según el personal “todavía no era invierno”. La temperatura aquella noche era de 7 C y sí tenían la hoguera en marcha en las zonas comunes. Dijeron que nos darían un calentador eléctrico pero que “no lo tuviéramos encendido todo el tiempo porque se sobrecalentaba”. Para calentar el cuarto nos dieron, literalmente, un calentador minúsculo de esos que se usan para calentar los pies bajo el escritorio (ver foto). El desayuno era olvidable, nada de lo que se encuentra habitualmente en establecimientos de este tipo. Con la excepción del muchacho que se ocupaba del turno de noche, la verdad es que no nos sentimos bien atendidos por el personal. Al llegar, con el tema del aparcamiento y el "calentador", nos tuvieron esperando una hora. EDIT: Gracias por su respuesta. Todo lo que cuenta sobre el parqueadero no quita que aparcar ahí sea un lío. Sobre la calefacción, no tiene comparación, ni por asomo, un calentador de pies de esos que se ponen bajo el escritorio con una estufa de leña. Al llegar al hotel nos dijeron que no ponían las estufas en marcha "porque no era invierno", no dijeron nada de mantenimiento ¿Nos mintieron entonces o nos mienten ahora? No insulte mi inteligencia: el servicio fue subestándar y para nada próximo a lo que nos cobraron.

La pieza impecable, buena cama, estufa, 0 ruido a pesar de estar en una ubicación muy céntrica y un personal muy atento. Ricos espacios comunes, preocupación en los detalles, realmente acogedor.

The rustic style

This is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. If I could give a rating higher than 10, I would definitely do so. The room was lovely, but the outdoor space of this property made us never want to leave. It was absolutely gorgeous. We travel a lot and this place is such a gem, we were lucky to find it. Breakfast was the best we've had in a long time with fresh eggs, juices, berries. Rooms were properly cleaned and aired every day. Staff was always kind and attentive. I could no recommend the place more. If we ever are in La Serena again, we will definitely stay here! This place will definitely stay in our memory!

The location was perfect in the heart of the town. There was a delicious restaurant across the street. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And property was beautiful, you really felt like you were out of the city. The breakfast was delicious.

Nothing, I thought it was beautiful. Yes the rooms are smaller but they are updated while keeping their charm. And there is enough outdoor space and seating in various areas of the garden that encourages you to sit outside.

The bathroom was super tiny. It was cold and they were not allowed to turn on the heater in the room. When asked about starting a fire in the fire pit the answer was no. The sauna and hot tub were not available.

Ein superschön gestaltetes Hotel mit traumhaftem Garten und sehr gutem Frühstücksbuffet. Eine wunderbare Heizdecke in jedem Bett!

Die Luftfeuchtigkeit in La Serena im Spätsommer Betrug 100%, so dass Badewäsche und Handtücher gar nicht trockneten und das Zimmer in der Nacht sehr kühl war. Dafür gibt es aber die o.g. Heizdecke. Ein zusätzliches trockenes Handtuch am Morgen wäre schön gewesen.

El pan del wesatuno buffet. Estaba añejo. Estaba recalentado porque era del.dia anterior. Es decir no esta fresco no era del.dia

El lugar bonito. Buen desayuno. Y lo mejor es que cuidan una gatita ya llego a la hostal. La atención de algunas chicas del personal fue muy buena, de otros no.

En resumen: poca resolución de problemas por parte del personal. El baño de la habitación 8 demasiado tapado no se iba el agua, al intentar destaparlo no se pudo, estuve mucho rato intentando destaparlo y no bajaba el agua!! Horrible !! y nos cambiaron a la habitación 9 en donde el suelo del baño estaba inundado al llegar a la habitación y salía por cañería de la ducha el agua del baño de la habitación 8 y no supimos hasta el día siguiente y nos bañamos ahí :( con agua del baño de la habitación 8 en el suelo… Gracias a los problemas en los baños que tuvimos al llegar se me olvidó preguntar si nos podían preparar algo de desayuno porque teníamos tour al día sgte a las 6:15 am. Por consiguiente la atención de un chico de turno de tarde/noche que no fue capaz de ayudarnos con algo para el desayuno del día siguiente que teníamos tour y por su poca voluntad tuve que gastar de más para comprar algo de comer para el desayuno tarde en un bar, pudiendo habernos ayudado con algún te, frutos secos etc, lo que se podría haber hecho por lo que me explicaron al día siguiente y como compensación me dieron un jugo de papaya a mi y mi pareja, pero claramente eso no compensaba las 30 mil que gasté para poder tener algo de desayuno para el tour y los malos ratos que pase con mi pareja desde que llegamos a la hostal. Dudo si me volvería a quedar en esta hostal…

Nach meinem Empfinden eines der besten Hotels, weltweit. Es bietet einen wunderschönen Garten, den man so nicht erwartet, so dass man sich jederzeit gemütlich in den Garten zurückziehen kann. Super Service

Humedad en la pared

Está en medio del caos de la ciudad pero, una vez cruzas la puerta entras a un oasis de calma. Fue como estar en un retiro en medio de la montaña. Con jardines y música ambiental en áreas comunes.. con una cafetería que te espera en la mañana con estufa encendida y comida fresca de excelente calidad. El cuarto muy cómodo y perfectamente decorado, incluyendo el baño.

Todo me gustó y seguro será mi hotel preferido en La Serena.

Great location near centre of town but we really loved the use of a very old (250 years) courtyard style building/s to create a wonderful, peaceful haven. Staff were all fabulous, and we enjoyed our stay a lot!!

The staff are truly lovely. They are cheerful and obviously take great pride in the hotel. The hotel itself is like a secret garden with very zen like common areas and all sorts of beautiful nooks for reading/relaxing.

Our room, though lovely, was very dark.

Sorprende el estar tan céntrico y al mismo tiempo tan tranquilo y relajado dentro del hotel, con muchas zonas para relajarse y estar muy tranquilo. Muy buen trato por el personal y los dueños del hotel.

Tout est dans les petits détails: une très jolie décoration, des aires communes bien aménagées et confortables, idéales pour se détendre. Le jardin est magnifique. Tout est bien pensé et très propre. Un bon petit-déjeuner est servi dans une atmosphère accueillante. Le personnel est très agréable et aux petits soins. Le matin de notre départ, un petit en cas nous a été proposé car nous partions avant le petit-déjeuner. Nous avons aimé cet hôtel, bien situé et près des services. Il faisait un peu froid et humide lors de notre premier séjour et le personnel nous a offert une petite chaufferette, nous avons beaucoup apprécié. En quelques minutes nous étions confortables. Nous avons fait deux séjours dans cet hôtel et les deux fois nous avons beaucoup aimé.

De partida, es un hotel que está en medio de la ciudad, por lo que te da la impresión de que será algo plano e instalaciones comerciales, pero al ingresar se encontrarán con mucha naturaleza y micha cultura indígena. En resumen lo recomiendo totalmente.

Lovely stay at this rather quirky hotel in the very centre of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was huge (in the original part of the building) and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a really tight squeeze but we managed! Good breakfast and we appreciated the discounted parking rate at the car park opposite the hotel. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Wir haben uns in der gemütlichen Anlage und dem hellen, geräumigen Zimmer sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Team war großzügig und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll als Büfett vorbereitet. Auf Wunsch kann man Rührei und frischen Saft bestellen. Alles ist sehr sauber und es gibt einen sehr guten Zimmerservice. Das Hotel hat einen wunderschönen Garten mit verschiedenen Sitzecken, die zum Lesen und Entspannen einladen. Die Lage ist ruhig, dennoch sehr zentral. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Restaurants und Cafés. Wir ließen unsere Wäsche waschen, wir erhielten sie am selben Tag.

The ambience, staff and location, price were all good The hotel is beautifully eclectic with nice gardens and cozy places to sit Breakfast was great.

The shower was so bad in our room. Room 12.. It was either scolding hot or cold.. It could never be the right temperature so took ages to have a shower.. They tried to fix it but couldn't and did offer to change room for us but non were available so there was no resolution.. Someone will burn themselves if it is not sorted.. This was the only downside as the room was comfortable otherwise. But if you wish to call yourself a boutique hotel you have to get the basics right first and a usable shower is a good start.

Not much but there are different people working in reception. I got 3 different prices when I was going to pay cash. Not so much structure. No invoice.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre in wunderschönem,kolonialem Bau. Das Personal war jung, teilweise ein wenig überfordert, aber bemüht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war exzellent. Einzigs. Oe Ausnahme war der Kaffee, der zwar aufgebrühter Bohnenkaffee war, jedoch sehr dünn.Insgesamt fantastisches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ruhig, sauber, gemütlich und nettes Publikum. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder

La ubicación y el desayuno

Mucho ruido, había un pájaro que estaba en el patio que era muy ruidoso, al llegar me indicaron que era “indefenso”, al parecer sabían que estaba habitando el jardín. La ropa de cama no era adecuada a la estación, más bien esta habilitada para temperaturas más heladas, es necesario disponer de frazadas o cobertores más ligeros.

The gardens and decor were wonderful , created with love and care. Everything kept clean .Breakfast was good and we felt safe as front door was locked and a member of staff present all time

Bathroom too small could not turn and had no window. Spa and cafeteria not in existence.No coffee or tea outside breakfast hours.when arriving before check in no offer to use beautiful gardens, only area info forthcoming a restaurant recommendation that was admittedly good. On leaving no itemised bill about listing the water bottles that had to be bought from reception as no water dispenser.

De locatie ligt echt centraal. De binnentuin is echt ideaal om even bij te komen. Voor koudere dagen was er een kachel,met pellets en zelfs een elektrische bedwarmer. Het ontbijt was lekker en het ontbijtlokaal knus.
