Très bon emplacement , principaux points d'intérêt peuvent se faire à pied. Le gérant est très à l'écoute et accueillant. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Possibilité de laisser les bagages pour un départ tardif.

Simple suggestion : mettre un parasol sur la terrasse pour pouvoir en profiter en journée (sans fondre sous le soleil extra puissant de la Rep dom 😋).

Location, friendliness, very clean

The location is perfect! It’s only a 4-minute walk to both the Zona Colonial and the Malecón. There are also plenty of restaurants, colmados, and exchange houses nearby. The room was spacious, and so was the bathroom—perfect for two people! We only stayed for one night, but we definitely wouldn’t have minded staying longer. Everything was clean, and there was plenty of toilet paper without us having to ask for more. Our room was ready when we arrived, and after checking out at 12 p.m., they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage there. Communication was always fast and helpful, even before our arrival. The girl at the front desk was very friendly as well. I would definitely come back!

Everything was great, but there’s always room for improvement. When we arrived at the property around 11 a.m., there was no power. While this wasn’t something the property could control, power outages are quite common in the Dominican Republic, so it might be worth considering installing a generator. It was very hot, even with the windows open, but fortunately we only needed to freshen up before heading out to explore the city. Thankfully, the electricity was back by the time we returned that evening. A mini fridge would also be a nice addition, especially for guests staying longer. Other than that, we didn’t experience any inconveniences!

Въпреки че собственикът на хотела беше така любезен да ни организира такси при напускането, таксиметровият шофьор ни таксува твърде скъпо. За около 3 км разстояние от хотела да морското пристснище ни взе 40 щатски долара, което е твърде много.

La ubicación y la predisposición, amabilidad y simpatía del personal. La amplitud del apartamento. El recibimiento. La posibilidad de pagar x diferentes monedas (en mi caso, euros).La info previa q se envía por WhatsApp. Me dejé unas llaves al check out y a pesar de poder resolverlo por mi cuenta, el propietario hizo lo posible por tratar de encontrar la manera de q pudiera recibirla donde me encontraba.

Que debido a mejoras en la zona, una de las esquinas está cortada al tránsito y no lo sabía.(Nada de ruidos) Fue algo engorroso para el taxi llegar. De todas maneras llamamos al propietario y nos dió las indicaciones precisas para llegar e incluso salió a nuestro encuentro. Como sugerencia al hotel, estaría bien dentro de toda la info previa, informar de esto. Al regreso pedí un Uber desde la otra esquina. Hay q caminar un poco pero nada terrible.

조식은 먹지 않아서 모르겠습니다. 위치는 콜럼버스광장에서 가까워서 걸어다니기 좋았습니다.

잠금장치가 좀 아쉬웠지만 직원분이 적극적으로 도와주려고 해서 감사했습니다. 잠금장치만 교체한다면 훨씬 편하게 이용하지 않을까 생각되네요.

Very good location, close to the Malecón and within the Colonial Zone. Very safe area. Excellent value for money.

The room is basic but clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and good Wi-Fi - ideal for a short stay. The property has a lot of potential, and a few inexpensive improvements could really elevate it, such as mosquito nets on the windows, a ceiling fan, and plants in the patio to help reduce humidity.

La qualité du matelas et surtout l'eau pour laquelle on ne peut pas choisir la chaleur et qui devient brûlante (vraiment brûlante) au bout de quelques minutes. On n'a pas compris comment éviter ça.

Super place to spend few days in Santo Domingo. Excellent location. Clean and tidy. Helpful hosts and staff.

Bon emplacement pour visiter la zone coloniale Endroit assez calme. On se sent en immersion dans la vie des locaux. Le gérant français absent lors de notre arrivée avait envoyé les recommandations et nous a appelé pour vérifier que tout allait bien.

The French owner is super efficient and he organised a very good taxi service for myself at 5 am in the morning!! He has good restaurant recommendations. The hotel is in a nice quiet street and is right in the middle of the lovely colonial zone. The location is absolutely perfect and only a 500 peso taxi ride from the bus station serving Las Terrenas. Very highly recommended!! Great value for money!!

Das Hotel liegt ganz nah am alten Stadtkern, als perfekt um Santo Domingo zu Fuß zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach aber sauber und preiswert. Als Kurzaufenthalt sehr gut geeignet.

Escogimos el alojamiento por la buena localización , Cerca de supermercados, colmados y zona colonial.La habitación limpia y ordenada. Especial mención a Franklin, estuvo muy pendiente de nosotras durante nuestra estancia en Republica dominicana, nos dio consejos y nos facilitó información . Elegimos la Aldea para el inicio y el final de nuestro viaje. Muy recomendable .

Las instalaciones 10/10, camas muy cómodas, AA funciona muy bien, buen aseo y lo mejor el anfitrión, siempre estuvo en contacto desde que reservamos, aunque el vuelo se atrasó, él estuvo pendiente de nuestra llegada, nos recomendó en la casa de cambio y los lugares a visitar. Estamos muy agradecidos y satisfechos, la mejor elección que pudimos hacer. No dudaría en regresar a este mismo lugar. Las fotos de la página no dan honor a la realidad. Lastimosamente no tomamos fotos de la habitación, pero es muy cómoda, bien dotada, moderna y limpia. Cero ruido

Francky was endlessly helpful and informative so that we were able to make the most of our time in Santo Domingo, we can't praise him enough. The rooms were clean and tidy, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was centrally-located in the middle of the colonial zone and was a short walk to everything to see!

Location is great, we walked to all the old city attractions in Zona Colonial. Francky, the owner is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home! He explains all you need to know from a place to exchange money to restaurants and supermarket, and I got to practice my French along with my Spanish. The instructions about the code to the front door and the room were clear, and he was there when we arrived, took us to our room and explained all. Room was big and clean, as well as the toilet. The air con was great and the air con light can be turned off so you can sleep better at night. We decided to have breakfast there and it was ok, had fresh fruit, juice, coffee, bread and eggs. There's water on the room but all mornings before we left we would ask for a bottle each to take with us while sightseeing. I will definitively stay there if I return to Santo Domingo

Location - near the attractions of Zona Colonial, Malecon, restaurants, Calle El Conde. Franky, the owner is friendly and helpful. Gave me several free cold bottles of water. Access to the Front Door and my room is by the same code.

Really loved our stay at La Aldea. The location is just a couple of blocks from both the Malecon and the pedestrian precinct leading to the cathedral and the fortaleza, so it's perfect. It is also very quiet and peaceful at night. Entry to the front door and the rooms are by key code, which is super convenient. Rooms are very confortable, spotlessly clean and the bed was great, as was the shower. A/C worked great, quietly and the light could be turned off for a peaceful sleep along with good curtains so it was dark. Best of all was our fabulous host Frankie, who was super welcoming, friendly and a great source of excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. He kept us up to date on what was going on in town, so we were able to see Carnival, which was awesome!
