Me gustó muchísimo la ubicación, cerca de la puerta del conde, y de tiendas y lugares iconicos para visitar, sobre todo la tranquilidad me gusto bastante.

The location was perfect for touring the colonial area while in Santo Domingo, and the host had excellent communication and worked very hard to meet our needs. The price was very good and the overall location felt safe.

We stayed in two different rooms during our time in Santo Domingo. The first room was very tight for four people and the toilet did not flush properly and had to be jostled after each flush and the second room was very noisy due to its location near the street and the hot water did not work even after waiting several hours for it to heat after turning it on. The AC was also not very strong for the second room but for the first room the AC worked very well.

The location is great.

The hotel is really run down and dirty, we have stayed there before and it wasn't that bad but this time it is the last time. The building needs maintenance, there is mold on the walls, the shower doesn't work properly and everything was just dirty.

Reserve 2 noches, llegue a la 10 PM para recoger las llaves luego me fui y volví a más de las 12 y salí en la mañana a la 9 AM. Regresé a las 2 y estaban arreglando en la recepción, cosa que no me comunicaron. Me recosté y no pude dormir por el ruido de los trabajadores y salí nuevamente, no fue agradable. El baño si te sientas en el toiler te cae agua del techo en la cabeza. En fin no me sentí cómoda en ese lugar y salí el domingo en la madrugada por lo que no dure las 2 noches como reservé…

Excelente ubicación, a una cuadra de la Calle el Conde, la host amable y servicial. Nos dieron consejos y tips. Me volvería a quedar alli.

Cuando llegamos pedimos que nos cambiaran el apartamento ya que el que alquilamos no tenia nada de luz y nos dejaron elegir entre otro que tenia humedades. Aceptamos el de las humedades...al menos nos dieron una opcion. La ubicación es genial y el apartamento tenia luz natural.

La cocina estaba sucia, te quedabas pegada en los botones para dar el gas en la cocina de la suciedad y habia hormigas. No pudimos guardar comida y que amanecia llena de hormigas. baño viejo, no habia agua caliente. No habia sarten, ni olla ni cafetera, ni escoba. Tuvimos que pedirlo todo

Cozy, quiet accommodation in a great location in the Colonial Zone, close to everything in the area. The host, Rosi, is always attentive to every detail, and Alberto is incredibly kind. I would definitely come back.

La ubicación y rápido servicio

It was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay for the price I paid. It also has a fully stocked kitchen that I didn’t use but it’s nice to have. The people that work there are very nice! The location is great and central, but there is some construction going on in front of the property. This was a minor inconvenience, because there was no noise and for taxis I just walked to either end of the street.

Me gustó ese estilo clásico y su toques moderno justamente al estilo de la Ciudad Colonial sin dejar de ser vanguardista.

I asked for a taxi to be called and a woman from the shop next door called for one. It did not come on time and asked the woman in charge to call again and she refused. I had to get a Caribe Tour bus so had to walk to El Conde to get one at twice the price. I was unhappy about this and spent 150 pesos more and was stressed.

Bed sheets were dirty. Bathroom fixtures broken. Weak Wifi. Broken television. Downstairs neighbor shouting and cursing. Stove did not work. Very few utensils in the kitchen. Closet door fell off. Plaster falling from the ceiling. And the ultimate was that there were live maggots in the coffee pot.

Very good location for the price paid. Initial host who met us was very friendly and accommodating. Room was quite big.

We booked expecting to have full use of a kitchenette, but found plates and toilet roll stored in the oven suggesting that it wasn't prepared for guest use. There also wasn't a lighter for the gas hob, when we asked we waited an hour for them to bring us a box of matches. Saw a mouse run in the room on the final night, but weren't that fussed to be fair. It's an open property so what would you expect.

This is my second time staying y Chao my mama and I like the fact that is close to almost most essential things . Example : Supermarket , restaurant , transportation, etc

I believe they can do better , the electricity was out for more than five hours , because the owners didn’t pay the bill in time . ( that way the Dominican Republic works no payment on time no electricity)

Very friend and accommodating. Had to have an early checking and the host was extremely understanding. I recommend this place to anyone coming to the DR. You will love your stay here.

Host was nice to deal with and caring, waited for our 9pm arrival. Location was alright - center, possible to walk around. Wifi was good.

Electric water pump just outside window - kept turning on for a few minutes every hour or so. Impossible not to wake up. Stayed one night, would not stay in same room again, unless you dont need to sleep. Old food left in fridge.

Location is at walking distance from many points of interest. Room has a little kitchen with stove and small refrigerator. There is no Coffee maker though. Room has A/C, hot water, TV with Netflix. It is a good choice for the price and it is comfortable. It is also very quiet.

It said had parking included but you need to park on the street or pay a parking lot. Besides the guy that received us for the check-in never saw anyone else in the front desk during our stay to ask questions or guide us on anything. Other than that the place is good to stay and will definitely go back

Location - walking distance to old town literally round the corner! Safe as long as you are walking towards old town. Clean. The guy working there was really friendly and tried his best to make us comfortable even though he only spoke Spanish and ours wasn't great, he was very patient. We were allowed to have a late check out, as there wasn't luggage storage.

Water pressure in shower very low. Though there was warm water. We had booked a large family room with 2 double beds, but when we arrived we were shown a large double room with 1 double bed. After explaining the issue, we were given a large double room and a small double room. No kettle in the room, we asked and was told there wasn't one. We had informed them via booking our approx arrival time but no one was there when we arrived. Luckily the taxi driver helped us and got another man to call and wait with us until someone arrived.

I had difficulty finding staff to check out in the morning. The toilet was too close to the wall of the shower and the wall of the bathroom so it was difficult to sit.

Televisión didn't work but they brought me a different one right away. The room was small but it was really cheap so to be expected. They have bigger rooms which are nicer but cost more. No hot water in the shower

The worst experience of my life and i’ve travelled to at least 40 countries. The owner is a thief, she tried to get money from me as a scum. She asked her employee not to let me leave on the last day and they pretended to call the police when I said that I would not pay more than what was agreed via booking.com. They had locked the doors of the building for more than an hour and thankfully I was with a friend that was accompanying me and the taxi driver that was waiting for me. The police never came (it was a lie since the beginning just to scary me and agree to pay more), the owner appeared after an hour shouting and behaving like a crazy person insulting me because i didnt want to pay extra 1,500 dominican pesos (c. 30 USD) than what we had agreed. My friends and got scummed a few times in Dominican Republic, but it was never that bad comparing to this case. The worst experience of my whole life. I would never recommend to stay there to anyone!!

A cozy little place in the heart of the Old Town clean and well decorated with friendly personal Close to everything restaurants pubs theatre with a main walking street with music artists and 2 big green parks to enjoy Nature inside the city ... highly recommended

Staff was great along with location. The room was big with a small kitchen if needed.

The room smelled very musky. It was the first one on the bottom floor. We left the window open while we were gone all day and it was still really strong.

I was skeptical to book at first !!!! Cause of some comentarios that there’s no hot water … it’s not a 5 star for the price but it’s a cozy nice little hotel clean rooms specious with little kitchen very … central close to walking streets with resturant bars music and artists is along side the area … the owner is very helpful and a beautiful person … thanks for the treat

Great location to experience the culture and daily life of Dominicans in the Old Town of Santo Domingo. Stayed with my two teenage sons to show them my fathers country and they were also very pleased with the house and facilities. Also very centric location, near main roads to head off to explore the rest of the southern coast and the island.
