Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war gross und hübsch eingerichtet. Auch der kleine Balkon ist gut ausgestattet mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht auf den See.
Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Fenster sind sehr schlecht isoliert, so dass man den Strassenlärm hört.

The room had a patio with chairs so we could enjoy the views. The room was comfortable and reasonably spacious The staff were really friendly and chatty, they managed to find us a plug adapter to use with our british appliances as our euro adapter didn't fit the Swiss sockets.

Breakfast selections are limited. Don't expect a hot breakfast, at least on weekdays. Elevator is tiny, but that's a minor inconvenience. Stairwell works for our needs. Hotel Rooms are only on the third floor in this building, although front desk is conveniently located on the street level.

Mattress was too firm/hard for us and pillows not comfortable. Tub/shower was a retrofit job such that the tub is up fairly high so you must step up fairly high to get in.

Sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt (absolut nicht empfehlenswert) Leider war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel eine große Enttäuschung. Bereits im ersten Zimmer hatten wir Ameisen, weshalb wir umgehend das Zimmer wechseln mussten. Doch auch im neuen Zimmer war der Zustand alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Im Badezimmer befand sich Schimmel und sehr viel Kalk. Aufgrund einer Fehleinteilung wegen zwei Einzelbetten mussten wir auch am nächsten morgen dieses Zimmer wieder wechseln. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr enttäuschend. Die Auswahl war äußerst begrenzt und wurde unseren Erwartungen überhaupt nicht gerecht.(Wenn ich einen Brunch/ Frühstück mache, habe ich mehr Auswahl) Generell macht das gesamte Hotel einen stark renovierungsbedürftigen, heruntergekommenen und verwahrlosen Eindruck. Viele Bereiche wirken alt und ungepflegt. Hinzu kommt, dass das Hotel extrem hellhörig ist. Die Fenster zur Straße sind so alt, dass man jedes Geräusch von draußen wahrnimmt. Bei der Beschwerde an der Rezeption, bezüglich Preisnachlass zuckte, dieser nur mit den Schultern und fand keine Worte und kam uns in keinster Weise etwas entgegen. Alles in allem war dies ein Aufenthalt, den wir so nicht erwartet haben. Die genannten Punkte sind für uns klare Gründe, dieses Hotel nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unter aller Sau!

There were ants in our room and I woke up with insect bites. This did really affect the feeling of what would otherwise have been a near flawless stay.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Perfect location to explore Lugano, close to the city center, lake, port, LAC, and everything else for my senior parents who had some mobility issues. They kept praising how convenient the location was. They got the room with terrace/view, and the view was exceptional (it was my father's request and I was able to make his wish come true). The hotel had a feel of family running business, its people very warm and welcoming. They had a wonderful stay.
Nothing really, of course some facilities are old, because it's in a relatively old building but that's nothing wrong about it - it is the matter of tastes.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026どこか懐かしい感じのヨーロッパらしいプチホテル。 フロントの方は親切で気さくに声掛けてくださいます。 景色がよい。エアコン、冷蔵庫あり。暑かったので助かった。ペットボトル水はないですが、3階のエレベーター前のラウンジにはコーヒー、紅茶、氷が用意されており、いつでも利用できる。 チェックイン時にティチーノチケットを頂けた。(メール送付の電子チケット) ベリンツオーナ等も無料で行けました。 駅から湖岸まで高低差はありますが、まずケーブルカーを利用し、ブランドショップが連なるアーケード街を抜ければ、雨でもほぼ屋根の下を歩けるし、スーツケース転がしても大変ではないです。
しいてあげるなら、鍵が昔ながらのガチャガチャ回すもので、ホルダー含めてずっしりしてます。オートロックなどではなく、部屋にひとつなので同行者と別行動ができないことでしょうか。
