Le poche cose che hanno deluso sono state largamente pareggiate dalla disponibilità di tutto il personale che si è adoperato per rendere il breve soggiorno più che confortevole.

Struttura pulita, immersa nel verde, molto tipica con i soffitti a croce tipici del Fayoum. Molto curato il giardino. C’ero già stata e ci tornerei volentieri.

Il personale è molto lento, non capisce l’inglese e spesso sbaglia per le ordinazioni.

The hotel's pretty quiet and in a beautiful spot. The staff are respectful, the place is clean, and they took good care of the car. Their follow-up and how they handled instructions and requests were excellent, and the reception was great, giving us plenty of info. The help they gave us on our unforgettable safari trip was excellent overall, Providing an excellent breakfast before the safari, thank you for that and for being punctual and waiting for us. and we hope to visit again in the winter..

The problem is that three days passed so quickly, it felt like one day.

We are giving this hotel the lowest possible rating because our experience was extremely disappointing. The food was not at the expected level, and there was no Wi-Fi available in the room, but we could have overlooked these issues if it wasn’t for a much more serious situation. After returning home to Serbia, we discovered that €1,000 and $400 in cash were missing from our room. The money was hidden inside our backpack and was not visible. During our stay, the room was not cleaned, and we did not give anyone permission to enter. What makes this situation even more disturbing is that not all of the money was taken. A part of it was left behind, which makes us feel that it may have been done deliberately so that we would not immediately notice that money was missing. Due to the circumstances, we have serious concerns about how this happened. This incident completely changed our opinion of the hotel. We consider this extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, and we would not recommend anyone to stay here. If there was a lower rating than 1, we would give it because of the feeling of insecurity and disappointment we experienced during our stay.

My experience at the Palm Shadow Hotel in Tunis was more than wonderful, and it truly deserves a 10/10 rating. The first thing that distinguishes the place is its pleasant tranquility, which provides a genuine sense of relaxation and escape from the pressures of life. It's relatively quiet and ideal for families seeking a cooler climate. The standard was very high, both in the private and public rooms, with attention to detail every day. The room was suitable for everything we needed as a family. As for the food, it was a truly special experience, especially the all-inclusive meal of local quail, which was excellent, wonderful, and authentic for us in the beautiful countryside. The all-inclusive meal was varied and delicious, suitable for Indian adults, and presented with high quality and attention to detail. The cooperation was exceptional, especially from Mr. Mina, who was incredibly kind and courteous, always available to help with a smile. All the staff were friendly, professional, and dedicated to ensuring guest comfort. The entertainment options were varied and enjoyable, which we and our children used throughout our stay, making it an integral part of any relaxing moment. Frankly, the Palm Shadow Tunis Hotel offers a perfect blend of tranquility, quality service, and delicious food, making it an ideal choice for families. It will continue to be my favorite destination in Fayoum.

Ho avuto un’esperienza eccezionale al Palm Shadow Resort a Fayoum. Il soggiorno è stato perfetto sotto ogni aspetto. La colazione era ricca, varia e di altissima qualità, con opzioni fresche e deliziose adatte a tutti i gusti. La pulizia delle camere e delle aree comuni era impeccabile, dimostrando grande attenzione ai dettagli. Lo staff è stato estremamente cordiale, professionale e sempre disponibile ad aiutare con un sorriso, rendendo l’atmosfera molto accogliente e rilassante. Il livello di comfort è stato eccellente, permettendo un vero relax lontano dallo stress quotidiano. - breakfeast was very limited (foul or feteer) only (they charged us for juice) - plus the breakfeast took like 30 mins to be ready (even though we got 2 plates only) - room was very small (i booked a superior room not standard) - no indoor pool as stated in the booking.com description

The property is located in a pleasant area and features a very beautiful garden, which creates a शांत and enjoyable atmosphere. However, despite having booked and prepaid for a specific double deluxe room with a garden view and balcony, the check-in experience was somewhat confusing. Upon arrival, we were shown several different rooms to choose from, which was time-consuming and left us uncertain as to whether we would ultimately receive the room matching our reservation and expectations. On a positive note, the restaurant staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and responsive to our requests, which we truly appreciated.

There are a few areas where improvement would enhance the overall experience. The room lighting in the evening was insufficient, and there was limited storage space, with no drawers or suitable areas to place personal belongings. Additionally, it was not indicated at the time of booking that the room was located on the second floor with a considerable number of stairs, which proved challenging for my mother. Finally, the reception service could be improved, as the process felt somewhat slow and at times unclear. Overall, while the property has strong potential due to its location and ambiance, addressing these points would significantly improve the guest experience

Cleanliness and good location in Tunis village

1-No WiFi in the rooms 2-the room was very small

The hotel responded positively to my request for a better room and upgraded my booking to a more modern “Golden Room,” which I appreciated. The staff were consistently polite and welcoming, and their warm attitude made my stay more pleasant overall.

The upgraded room I received was unexpectedly small. I was offered the option to move to the original room, which was more spacious; however, it was outdated and poorly maintained, with two single beds and a very small television. Additionally, the à la carte breakfast was disappointing. Only one drink was included—either tea or coffee—with no juice or fruit provided, and I was informed that even a bottle or glass of water would need to be purchased. This is not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. Finally, the presence of mosquitos in the rooms was an issue. Given that this appears to be a known problem, it would be reasonable for the hotel to ensure regular mosquito control or room treatment.

This was such a breath of fresh air after a busy few days in Cairo. Total relaxation and peace in a beautiful hotel in a beautiful village. We were welcomed by the lovely staff at reception and ordered a delicious lunch which was the best of locally produced Egyptian authentic food. Delicious duck, beautifully grilled chicken, fabulous salads which were super fresh and home made bread You do wait for your food but this is because it is all made fresh and it is well worth it. The grounds are pretty and the good sized pool tucked away around the corner as the ultimate place to relax and enjoy this oasis. Our room was a whole apartment, we had a kitchen, sitting area with balcony and two bedrooms with a bathroom, all air conditioned and built in a very tasteful and traditional and attractive style. The local village is friendly and we enjoyed a quad bike tour, tilapia fishing in a local fish farm, birdwatching tours with a local expert and pottery lessons just along the street from the hotel. We loved it and each member of our family came away happy with different special memories of our lovely three day stay - initially we booked onw night but ended up staying for three.

This is a hidden gem! What an amazing experience from start to finish. This made my holiday. Idyllic setting, high quality service and the food was very good. Clean and comfy rooms would highly recommend. Well done Palm Shadow Resort, you know how to do it!

Very nice studio - the bed area, bathroom, kitchen, and terrace were all great, spacious and cozy at the same time. Mahmoud the host was very helpful with anything needed. This was a great place for a quiet getaway for a few days from the hustle of Cairo. Would love to come back!

The location was very good. My room was lovely. The bed was good but the pillow is very hard. Also the food was just okay. There is room for improvement here. Overall though it's a great place to stay. I have been many times to Tunis village and will definitely return to this hotel but probably wouldn't eat there

What i loved about palm shadows is that it feels like home , the staff are very hospitable and i really appreciate how friendly they are.the place is relaxing , the best landscape i have seen in fayoum. I'm definitely going to come back

But nice general feeling if a quaint place - be prepared for dust if you walk the village

Un vrai havre de paie ! Endroit calme très bien entretenu . Personnel très sympathique et coopératif . Chambre très grande et super propre. Très belle Piscine..agréable après une longue journée d’activité. L’hôtel vous propose différent genre d’activités à des prix abordables. On a tout découvert dans la région grâce aux conseils du personnel. Un grand merci à Mr/ Mohamed Salah pour son professionnalisme et son soutien. On reviendra chaque fois on sera en Egypte .

Very nice and peaceful place. Very friendly and helpful staff. As in all the places in Tunis you can book a desert tour through them. Nice pool. A lot of families with kids.

The restaurant is good, but not as good as the food in Kom El Dikka. Also the desert tour seemed a few pounds more expensive as in other places.

It was very spacious and felt like a palace. The gardens were peaceful and it had a really relaxed atmosphere. Mohammed on reception was particularly helpful throughout our stay and did everything to make us feel welcome!

Our stay at Palm Shadow Hotel during the weekend was absolutely wonderful! The staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. Since they knew it was our wedding anniversary, they surprised us with an incredible room upgrade to the luxurious Golden Room – such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious, offering a variety of fresh and tasty options. The warm and welcoming attitude of the staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. While the night event with potato grills and marshmallows was enjoyable, we feel it could be enhanced by including extra shows or entertainment to provide more value for the price. Overall, our weekend getaway was perfect, and we highly recommend Palm Shadow Hotel for anyone visiting Fayoum. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration so delightful!

The staff were nice and rooms clean. It is also quite and nice. They are ready to plan everything you need though I didn't get to see the pool.

The breakfast was not so nice till I spoke with mirna and they gave a good option but mixed my order.

traditional Fayoum breakfast was delicious! We appreciated the helpfulness of Mr. Zakaria, Mr. Ekramy (sp?) and the other staff.

The remote controls on the TV in our room didn't work well, but Mr. Zakaria was helpful in getting it worked out.

When I asked for a quiet (non-street facing room), they provided an upgraded room for free. Nice garden, very delicious and rich breakfast

The garden and the pool are both beautiful and the view from our bedroom window (Deluxe room, 2 single beds). The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There is one member of staff who speaks English and he went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome.

The restaurant did not have much on the menu especially for breakfast - only Egyptian breakfast was available (no bread, no milk, no hot chocolate, no orange juice).

Tunis is a lovely place in Egypt, especially in Ramadan when it is quiet and relaxed. The complex is in a walled garden which is nice to spend time in. The pool is in a separate area and hard to find so make sure you look for it because it's great!

Shower pressure low and you have to turn on the heater outside the bathroom - temperature of the water was too hot. The mosque is close by and very loud with a distorted speaker.

Resort is amazing. We loved the entire place build like castels from stones, where you can feel like a prince and rhe princess. The prise is a bit solty for this area but you wont regret it booking it. Food is good, rooms are clean. Stuff is nice, but be prepared to hand talk or wait someone to speak english or learn your self basics in arabic, that should do the trick! We had an amazing time even we only slept there for 1 night. And we were sorry that we did not stay. Tottaly planing to come back for shure. Next time im coming with my son <3

The staff was very friendly, the food was very good, the setting was so clean and original, and they also arranged for a great safari trip for us followed by a nice pottery art hands on training.

We love the property, the territory is just great. A lot of greens, places to sit outside, everything well maintained. Staff is very helpful and polite! Everyone is just trying to make your stay like a home. And yes, we really felt sad when it was a time for checking out! We went in August - so it was a low season and we enjoyed the quiet peaceful atmosphere. The location is just in the middle of the village with access to almost everything. It is not a problem to get to any remote place with a tuk-tuk. BTW you can get some nice ceramic pieces (I mean the pottery has their own style) if you ask for Selim shop. Everyone knows it, you can get there by walk (7 mins) or by tuk-tuk. I definitely would love to come there again in season to go on boat, to go for birdwatching and horse riding.

Maybe it would be great to have a coffee machine in the restaurant. If you are planning to spend your time in your phone - the WIFI and connection in the rooms are not strong. Outside the rooms in common areas it works better. But for us it was a plus - as we had a digital detox.

This boutique hotel complex is like a mansion from the Arabian nights. The compound is beautiful, as is the lush garden at its center. The restaurant serves delicious food at good value, and the front desk booked us a wonderful driver for a safari around. The breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast box we received (we had to leave very early in the morning), was better than that of five star hotels in Egypt. The rooms were spacious and clean.

We stayed one night and experienced 3 power outages throughout the night. The last one started sometime in the night and the power did not come back on until late morning. Also the wifi in our room had a very weak signal.

Beautiful architecture, well designed garden and very good location. Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Great food!
