Comfortable and clean the food was lovely the owner/manager was nice and helpful
Staff are all young and were a bit lax you were left waiting a while for bar service and locals/friends seemed to get looked after quicker, but saying that it was a very busy night
The owner tried to accommodate us with a quieter room. Maybe if it wasn’t a weekend stay things might have been different.
We got very little sleep. It was super noisy. Music was playing until early hours. People coming in and out of their rooms at all hours of the night. Untrained restaurant staff.
Absolutely everything from start to finish. Derek and team are amazing. A brilliant team in a hidden gem of Dromod. Food, Service and entertainment 100% Will definitely return.

Had a lovely sleep in the very comfortable beds. Lovely room and everything you needed. Food was exceptional as were the staff. Would definitely return again
Nothing.
We were very happy with our stay . Staff were very friendly. Food was great.
Very nice
We got in late so received a small room on the 1st Floor above the Pub and being a Friday night was very loud and lively. It did die down by about 11pm. The manager, (I assume) was very helpful and reserved us a table for dinner in the very packed bistro, there were lots of group party bookings on this particular night. Food was great and huge servings. Room was very small but comfortable and a continental breakfast was included, but thought the price paid was a bit exy for the room.
Parking was an issue, no designated parking, we parked in the housing estate across the street down the road, and the noise.
Very nice, clean, comfortable, lovely staff, very friendly.
very cleaning. Good staff and various food in the kitchen
the pillow a little bit hard
Great staff, and great host. Very friendly and helpful ! The location was brilliant, and a fine pint of Guinness too.
Lovely freshly renovated rooms. Comfortable and so restful after a lovely meal, guinness and music in the bar. Delicious breakfast next morning.
A little noisy at the time we were there, if you are a light sleeper and don't want to stay till the end of music maybe bring ear plugs. But didn't bother us much.
Friendly wellcoming homely
No mirror in bed room
Beautiful room, good location
Was very noisy! Make your own breakfast
Excellent clean, comfortable, bed linen excellent are we’re throws and cushions
Nothing I didn’t like.

Clean and tidy , staff was so helpful, and the food was amazing. Great stay.

Fabulous pub with rooms located right in the heart of Ireland. Perfect place for a stopover when heading West to East, or vice versa. Great rooms, spotlessly clean, helpful friendly staff and lovely food - what’s not to like ? 👍
Nothing - it was great
Fab place! Great staff and food! Rooms were spotless and comfortable
Everything was so nice

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend
Great little spot. Everything was great with our stay. Highly recommended. Staff were above and beyond.
Staff are lovely, can't do enough to oblige. Rooms are cosy
Window could do with curtains as street light kept room bright.
Cleanliness of room and breakfast the following morning was just fab.
Would have like hairdryer in room
The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean with a large storage in the bedroom, and we could have access to some facilities to make ourselves a continental breakfast. The staff was friendly, asked if we neeeded something else.
There could have been a little more storage, like a shelf in the bathroom and add an electric kettle to make coffee or tea in our bedroom would have been nice.
Staff really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms are modern, tastefully decorated and clean. Liked the idea of self service breakfast. Well equipped kitchen with cereal, toast brew making facilities all free. Eve. Cheese and ham in the fridge. Location is great. Stunning village in countryside. Although we didn't use it there is a train station so you could get here without a car.
Couple of small niggles but in balance the good point far outweighed the bad and made me want to ignore them. Room i stayed in backed on to kitchen storage annex. Consequentially people coming in and out. Room was quite warm even with heating off so had to open the window. Then because of the storage area there was a constant buzz of an aircon unit. I wouldn't say it was loud but for me anyway one of those things that when you hear you can't ignore it. Clearly the b&b are limited to what they can do about this so not sure on the solution.
2nd time staying here staff are all lovely and friendly nothing is too much trouble no hairdryer no problem just ask and one will be delivered to your room, the food is plenty and tastes delicious 😋 ,very clean and comfortable ,bus stops outside and a lovely little train station we used to visit Carrick on Shannon also great live entertainment, wouldn't hesitate to book again Thankyou for having us.
Nothing at all to dislike
Staff were very helpful and very kind. Great food and room was beautiful
Rooms were very clean and tidy and looked newly decorated. Bar served good food with a good selection. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Nothing at all …. Only comment was that the heating was fierce, with the rooms radiator very high. It was turned down but room took time to cool off (which again isn’t a complaint).
Lovely spot to stay in! Friendly staff and breakfast was great.
The water pressure wasn’t the best in our room and the hot water didn’t work.
Stayed for a Confirmation celebration . Food was outstanding and great service. Room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Was lovely quiet room that wasn't too hot and stuffy. Very comfortable bed also. Netflix was also appreciated after a busy day. Loved the shower products too. Also great to have water bottles beside each bed. Perfect accommodation.
Room and location was beautiful
The shower is to cramped possibly different in other rooms
Great food great accommodation friendly staff. Very good.
Room was very warm unable to turn off radiator.
Everything was great. Would have liked a few more alternatives for breakfast.
I liked everything. Just a few more alternatives for breakfast.
The food was lovely and it was a cosy atmosphere. The music was good on the night. The rooms were lovely.
Staff could have been a bit more attentive behind the bar. Made feel like an outsider amongst all the regulars. The owner/manager was very friendly, asking if we were enjoying ourselves. Expensive for the food, . .
Homely feel to the rooms and they were immaculate. Bar staff great. All around great little BnB/ Pub.
Staff are very friendly and helpful 🙂 great music

Food was excellent
Room a bit small but was fine for 2 night stay
Really comfortable bed. Food in bar was excellent in quality and quantity. Definitely return
Nothing really
Newly renovated, everything is clean and beautifully decorated. The food in the restaurant was delicious.
During the week they don’t offer an Irish breakfast. But they have a kitchen with cereal where you can help yourself.
It was clean and staff were very friendly.
Improvement of taxi services for weddings to and from the venue would be very useful.
all good / well furnished and very clean
nothing / high recommended
High quality finish in rooms. Very good food available in the bar. Pleasant staff. Good TV options in the room
The door from the bar to the guest rooms' entrance and stairway really should remain closed. No need for it to be wide open all evening and into the early hours. Excessive noise from the bar carried up the stairway until at least 1am, and even noise downstairs until after 4am. As a result, disturbed sleep, even on the top floor. Shame really, because it's otherwise a great place.
