Great location with fantastic views over the caldera and the entire bay. Great walk down to the sea below and very nice swimming pool. They also offer a very good breakfast. Very private balcony, comfortable bed. Best value for money.

La vista es maravillosa y la comunicación con Caterina, muy bien; tuvimos algunos temas en la habitación, pero hicieron todo lo necesario para solucionarlo. El desayuno podría mejorar, considerando que vamos muchos extranjeros.

Fue incómodo mover las maletas por las escalas y el tipo de pavimento que hay desde el estacionamiento, así como también acercarse a la zona de la recepción y desayuno… si llegas después de las 21, no hay personal en recepción y es un poco oscuro para identificar las habitaciones…

La vue sur la caldera qui est juste incroyable.

Une réception joignable uniquement par what's happ, et une personne présente sur certains horaires qui ne prend aucune décision et qui renvoie la balle à la personne joignable par what's happ! Un accueil minimaliste ne donnant aucune information sur les horaires du petit dej, la piscine. Quelques transats sans matelas autout de la piscine.

Tout. L’emplacement est incroyable avec une vue imprenable sur la caldeira. Le personnel est adorable, serviable et disponible. Tout est très propre. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. La piscine est un peu excentrée mais ce n’était pas gênant. L’hôtel est dans une sorte d’impasse donc c’est calme et isolé et parfait pour se baigner en toute tranquillité. Il y a la possibilité de se garer sans problème. On a beaucoup aimé Akrotiri (secteur de l’hôtel) qui est beaucoup plus typique et moins fréquenté que les villages très très touristiques de l’île. C’était vraiment un bon point pour se reposer et retrouver du calme. C’est un vrai hôtel front de mer avec une impression d’être hors du temps lorsque l’on prend le temps en terrasse d’observer l’horizon. L’Hôtel n’est pas très loin du phare d’Akrotiri (même s’il est conseillé d’y aller en voiture) qui est un point sublime pour le coucher de soleil. Non vraiment nous avons adoré notre séjour là bas. Merci à l’hôtel et des équipes très professionnelles.

We had a wonderful stay and we really enjoy every moment. The view was amazing, and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. The staff made us feel at home, and we really appreciate it. If we ever come back to Santorini, we will definitely stay here again.

La vista caldera

Purtroppo la nostra esperienza al Blu Rooms Santorini è stata molto deludente. La camera era priva di bidet, un dettaglio che per noi ha inciso sul comfort del soggiorno. Durante la permanenza i letti sono stati rifatti solo una volta e la biancheria non è mai stata cambiata, un servizio di pulizia decisamente al di sotto delle aspettative. Anche la colazione è risultata molto scarsa, con poca scelta e qualità non all’altezza. Il mio consiglio è di non lasciarvi attirare dalle belle foto presenti su Booking: dal vivo la struttura e i servizi offerti non rispecchiano le aspettative che le immagini fanno immaginare. Personalmente non tornerei e non la consiglierei.

La vista era spettacolare! La colazione era varia (sia dolce che salata) e tutto fresco e di buona qualità. La piscina piccola ma incastonata nel verde e tra le rocce, nel pieno rispetto del paesaggio circostante. La struttura inoltre è molto vicina (pochi chilometri) alla Red beach, una delle più belle spiagge di Santorini.

Avrei gradito molto una porta di vetro che mi permettesse di avere una splendida visuale sulla caldera anche con la porta della mia stanza chiusa.

I loved the quiet quaint location away from the business of Fira and Oia. Close to local village for supplies and dinner options that were very affordable so great for the budget.

I didnt like the lack of breakfast options served as part of the packsge. I think bacon woukd be a great addition. Otherwise not too bad :)

The room was spacious with a nice Seaview. The receptionist Catarina was super helpful, she helped with a lot of small things.

The swimming pool is a 200 meter walk, which is not mentioned in their profile. Safe and private walk although.

The view was spectacular- just as advertised. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy and amply big enough for us. The room was cleaned / tidied and bed remade each day. Breakfast was plentiful with variety. Very relaxing location, short walk from good local restaurants. That it was away from the main tourist locations.

The bathroom was very, very cramped. When we visited we couldn’t sit outside and enjoy the stunning view on two out of four days it was just too breezy to be comfortable. So check wind when you plan to visit. You have to get cabs / transport to really explore the island.

There is a nice beach down there. It takes some efforts to get but it is worthy.

The hotel is beautifully situated with breathtaking views. The rooms are clean and well equipped with simple, unfussy fixtures and decor. The bathroom was excellent and the bed comfortable. The balcony gave incredible views of the caldera. The breakfast was delicious with very convenient times. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk to the village with many places to eat and drink and a small supermarket that is open late.

It can be windy depending on the time of your stay but that is no fault of the hotel. I would recommend an eye mask as the air con display is very bright and the curtains are quite flimsy. The pool is a little walk away from the main hotel.

The property was well maintained, clean and easy to find. The pool is a distance away from the hotel but accessible by a private road. .

The only thing I would say is our second room which has a patio door and side panel lets in too much light!!! I struggle to sleep really

My stay at Blu Rooms in a junior suite overlooking the caldera was nothing short of magical. The sunset views from the room were absolutely breathtaking — front-row seats to Santorini’s famous skies without having to fight a single crowd for the view. That’s really what sets Akrotiri apart. If you want the real Santorini experience — peaceful, authentic, and away from the Instagram-hungry crowds of Oia and Imerovigli — this is where you should stay. Those villages are undeniably beautiful, but they’re also noisy, congested, and packed with tourists jostling for the same photo. Akrotiri gave me the tranquility I was actually looking for on this trip. A huge part of what made this stay so special was the manager, Katerina Karderis. She goes above and beyond to make every guest feel warm, cared for, and truly welcome. She was always available on WhatsApp for anything I needed throughout my stay — a level of attentiveness that’s rare to find. A few practical tips for future guests: ∙ Transportation on Santorini is expensive and limited. Budget around 39-40 euros each way into town, and I’d recommend either booking tours with hotel pickup/drop-off included or renting a car for more flexibility. ∙ Stock up before you arrive. The nearest mini mart is a 10-12 minute walk from the hotel, so grab snacks and water on your way in. ∙ Explore the village. Akrotiri village itself is just a 10-12 minute walk away and has some lovely local spots — Mistali for a relaxed meal and Akrotiri Bar for drinks. Overall, this was the perfect base for anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Santorini without the chaos. Highly recommend, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The view was incredible. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Akrotiri is a relatively quiet town in an otherwise over-touristed island. Walking into town for dinner and mild exploration is a 10-minute pleasant walk. Options for dinner are limited, but mostly good. Renting a car to get ther and broader explorations is essential, but if one does that, this space is ideal.

Las habitaciones son muy sencillas, pero se olvida con la vista increible. El desayuno lo sirven desde las 8 am.

Fantastische Ortsrand-Lage direkt am Kraterrand und trotzdem fußläufig zum Ortskern. Sehr schönes, athmosphärisches Haus mit einem Touch von traditionellem Flair. Der wunderbar in den Abhang gebaute Pool mit Panoramablick.

Mornings sun light was getting in the bedroom from a window in the room but I think not all rooms have this problem. You can talk to the hotel for that. Breakfast was average and I would propose to the manager to arrange for cold coffee. It is nice to have.

We loved the location for exploring the island, rather than the usually tourist spots, it was great how quiet it was

We just wished there were some sun loungers near the hotel & rooms to sunbathe on, rather than having to walk to the pool, maybe on the empty rooftops or garden rockery?

Πολυ ευγενικο προσωπικο, καλη σχεση ποιοτητας τιμης ειδικα δεδομενου οτι ειναι πανω στην καλντερα. Καλο πρωινο για την τιμη του. Ωραια θεα και σε ωραιο σημειο η πισινα

Το δωματιο ειχε προσβαση απο εναν κοινοχρηστο διαδρομο μπροστα στην θεα οπου ηταν και το λεγομενο μπαλκονι-βεραντα. Το δωματιο ειχε ενα παραθυρο μικρο για θεα αλλα δεδομενου οτι εβλεπε σε αυτον τον «κοινοχρηστο διαδρομο» αναγκαζομασταν να το χουμε πολυ συχνα κλειστο. Το μπανιο δεν ειχε εξαερισμο και δεν ηταν προστατευμενο το ντουζ οποτε γινοταν μουσκεμα. Γενικα το δωματιο ειχε πολλη υγρασια.

If you don't want to stay in crowded Fira and Imerovigli, you should definitely go to Blu Rooms. It has one the best views of the caldera. At sunrise, at sunset, at night the view is simply amazing. Our room was the simplest and cheapest one, so it had some very minor defaults but none of them kept us from enjoying the great hospitality. We especially enjoyed the quiet and peaceful breakfast time. By the way, the Perissa and Vlychada beaches, which I think are the best ones in the island, are just 7-8 mins away by car. Fira center is also easily reachable. Just the drive to Oia gave us a hard time, since it is on the other side of the map. Therefore, if you've rented a car, there's no point in staying somewhere else.

It's better to have a car at this location

This is a super little find. The communication is excellent - opting for WhatsApp makes it really easy. We had a late arrival but Vassilis sent us a video so we knew exactly where to go. He arranged our taxi from the airport and then onto the port the following morning. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The view of Santorini Crescent is stunning and you can eat breakfast on the terrace with the most amazing vista. We had to set out early and were given a picnic breakfast. Thank you BLU rooms.

Everything was amazing! The staff were so kind, they accommodated our needs the day we had a boat trip early in the morning! Everyone had a smile every time we saw them. The place was great! The room was always clean and the views to the caldera were incredible! You get to see the sunset on the side and it is so nice! The hotel is very calm and the area too, so it is great to enjoy the island! You can get to Fira in 15-20 minutes and Oia in about 30-40mins by car. The breakfast was great and made on the spot every day, which made it fresh and tasty! We had a great experience and we will recommend it to all our friends and family that go to Santorini. Chyba najlepszy obiekt noclegowy, w którym miałam okazję się zatrzymać. Pokoje wyglądają dokładnie tak jak na zdjęciach - pięknie urządzone, jasne. Widok po otwarciu drzwi zapiera dech w piersiach. Były dla nas przygotowane nawet ręczniki basenowe. Te "codzienne" zmieniane każdego dnia. Pyszne śniadanie - codziennie można było zmieniać posiłki bądź za małą dopłatą wziąć coś bardziej "fancy". Ta część wyspy zdecydowanie spokojniejsza, daleko od zgiełku i hałasu. Przemiła obsługa. Zdecydowanie polecam!

Located high on the hillside, with an outstanding view over the caldera. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. It was only a short walk to a number of tavernas. The breakfast supplied was very good indeed. The staff were all excellent. This will definitely be our go to place if we come to Santorini again

Estuvimos hace 11 años y la misma sensación de paz que tuvimos entonces la volvimos a tener esta vez. El entorno es maravilloso, la atención es exquisita (mención especial al chico joven, un auténtico encanto) y las habitaciones perfectas, más con las vistas que tienen. El desayuno tiene de todo y la piscina es comodísima. Espero no pasen otros 11 años para volver!

La única pega, que obviamente no es cosa del hotel, es que a la piscina accedían padres con niños (no eran de Blu Rooms) que perturbaban la paz y tranquilidad que sí hay en el resto de instalaciones. Además dejaban toallas todo el día “reservando” hamacas.

Purtroppo troppo lontana da spiagge attrezzate, colazione minimal, per una settimana abbiamo avuto sempre lo stesso tipo di frutta, se si decide di alloggiare lì bisogna mettere in preventivo il noleggio di un mezzo per tutto il soggiorno

Totul este la superlativ, pozitionarea acestei cazari iti taie rasuflarea, ai vedere directa spre caldera si spre coasta cealalata a insulei unde poti vedea Fira, Oia si toate vasele de croaziera. Piscina este pozitionata superb cu aceeasi vedere panoramica. Micul dejun este suficient de bogat, iar personalul este foarte dragut. Camera superba, curatenia se face zilnic si prosoapele sunt schimbate zilnic. Recomand cu cea mai mare caldura aceasta locatie, cu siguranta vom reveni acolo.

Colazione misera e su ordine, la donna delle pulizie alle 8:30 iniziava a bussare. Un giorno sono andato alle 8.15 su per colazione e sono rientrato a lavarmi i denti e prendere il materiale per la spiaggia con lei che girellava per camera. Anche un po’ più tardi eh !!!
