Schönes, modernes, großes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick. Guter Pool und Whirlpool. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut. Personal schnell und präzise.

I wanted one room for a family (two parents, two teenagers) for one night. I booked through booking.com and the only options I was given were a deluxe room for three and a double room for two, which I booked. When we arrived, we found the deluxe room had two separate bedrooms, each with a large double bed, ie perfect for the four of us. There was even a dining table in the room with five chairs around it! I therefore feel I was forced/tricked into booking two rooms for the hotel’s maximum gain during high season. Also, weirdy, the hotel made up the double room for one person, ie put one single duvet on the double bed. What 4-person family wants to be split 3 and 1 during a hotel stay?!? We dragged a duvet from the deluxe room to the double room so that the kids could both stay there. The hotel is quite nice, nothing special; main advantage is its close proximity to the gondola. I was even charged a day’s parking; that was unnecessary and not mentioned at the time of booking.

Ein unbeschreibliches tolles Erlebnis dort zu nächtigen. Die Lage ein Traum, das Hotel sehr gepflegt das Personal überaus freundlich und engagiert.

Le lit est moyennement confortable (matelas dur) et les coussins sont trop mou, nous avions l'impression de dormir sans coussin.

Huge and comfortable room with all necessary amenities and a very comfortable bed. Maybe an additional pilow/person would be good. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Excellent location.

Breakfast was quite disappointing. At check-in I was told that breakfast was until 10:00 o'clock. I went to eat at 9:30 and there was not much variety left, which let's say it's somewhat understandable. Then I got moved to another table because the one I sat at "was already set for lunch". Which I had no way of knowing since noone even said good morning, even if there were several waiters there, but all were busy setting the tables for lunch... at 9:30 in the morning during breakfast.

This is a big but lovely hotel. Directly next to the cable car. Would come again.

I think that in general switzerland is pricey.

a little dated overall. sauna not really up to scratch but I understand they have plans for revitalising it all for 2024. not much understanding or sensibility for vegetarians/vegans. a bunch of chickpeas with curry sauce don’t make the dish a “chickpea curry”.
