⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9.5/10 – Excellent stay and outstanding hospitality A beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. The biggest highlight of our stay was the Manager. He was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. He even personally helped bring our luggage to the room and made sure everything was arranged properly for us during breakfast. The Manager was a true gentleman and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. His hospitality really made a difference to our experience. The room was spacious enough, clean and comfortable. I also loved that the room had Prime available for entertainment. A multi-plug was provided, so there was no need to bring a travel adapter. Breakfast was mainly Indian-style with several options. I would give it around 7/10. The Wi-Fi was not particularly fast, but it was still usable. The swimming pool was a good size and very clean. The hotel is also close to the sea, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The beach itself was not my favourite because the waves were quite strong and the beach was not particularly beautiful. Prices around the beach area also seemed much higher than in other places. The only downside was some traffic noise, especially car horns, which could be heard from the room. Overall, I highly recommend Sajjoys. The excellent hospitality, cleanliness and especially the wonderful Manager made our stay very memorable. Nothing really

The location to the clifftop cafes, restaurants and sea views is excellent. Less than a 10 minute walk. The staff were excellent, helpful and attentive to your needs. A very good breakfast is served every day with fresh dosas and Kerala fruits and savouries. Very good and clean rooms with fan and Air Con. Arun Kumar the ayurvedic massager was excellent. From TRV airport the ride is around 1 hour 20mins in traffic, and an hour on Sunday morning around 7am with much less traffic.

The pillows in the bedroom were too hard and stiff but I should have asked to see if they had softer pillows. My bad.

We had lovely massages everyday. Amazing, such strong fingers and very kind. Really enjoyed the pool.

Lovely staff. Very clean. The hotel is in a perfect spot near the cliffs and beach but quiet. The pool was a good size and very clean.

There is nowhere to sit in the lobby and the dining room for breakfast is dark with no windows.

Facilities, it’s average only. There’s not even a soap or handwash in the toilet. The Namesake shower gel was even worse

The hotel is in a good location, just 5 min by Foot to the Cliff. The staff was friendly and helpful, although sometimes their English was limited. There is a small library next to the reception where you can borrow reading material. The breakfast is good and has a wide selection of dishes, although mostly adapted to Indian taste. However they have great smoothies! The only thing I missed was muesli.

The temperature of the water in the shower was erratic. It changed from hot to cold and back without me even touching the Faucet. I never really managed to make the TV working.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is in a prime location very close to the cliff. One of the best highlights was the breakfast: instead of a standard buffet, they offer a compact menu where everything is made fresh to order in the kitchen—it tasted amazing. The entire property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were very accommodating when we needed help.

The crib provided wasn't very comfortable, though the team did their best to adjust it for us. Additionally, the swimming pool lacks temperature control, so it can feel a bit too chilly for a comfortable swim.

Bij aankomst, we waren erg vroeg (11.00) konden we gelijk gebruik maken van het zwembad en 45 min. later kwamen ze vertellen dat de kamer klaar was. We hadden een upgrade grekegen: een suite met zelfs een bubbelbad. Echt een prachtig hotel, fantastische kamer met 2 balkons, koelkast en koffie- en thee faciliteiten. Echt top allemaal. Wij hadden volpension: heerlijke pasta gegeten, verse fruit en ijs. En een geweldig ontbijtbuffet met veel Westerse keuzes zoals pancakes, french toast, cornflakes met melk (koud en warm) verschillend gesneden fruit, ei naar keuze, vers sap, verse kleine smoothies, geroosterd brood....teveel om op te noemen. Wij hebben genoten! Ook mede dankzij het hele vriendelijke personeel.

The staff is very sweet and welcoming and the facilities are very clean. The room is spacious and beds are comfortable. There's both AC and a fan and there's always hot water. Walking distance to the helipad and the cliff with all the restaurants.

The breakfast could be improved but I ordered what I wanted everyday and it's low season so actually no justice to complain!

A beautiful well maintained, very clean hotel, a few minutes walk to the cliffs, cafés, restaurants. Also for taxi or rickshaw to town. Breakfast was great, pool was refreshing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We liked the location .It is close to north cliff and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable The breakfast was excellent, and the staff even packed some breakfast items for us to have for lunch at no extra cost, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Overall, the hospitality was outstanding, and we had a wonderful experience.

Insects are coming out of the mattress , When I informed the hotel staff they changed the room but same position there as well, also from the bathtub insects are coming out. It was very disappointing. Never recommended hotel.

Locatie perfect ten opzichte van strand en restaurants. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Leuk zwembad. Ruime kamers.

Het toilet was zeer dicht bij de douche, die enkel met een gordijn is afgesloten, dus alles was nat. Maar dat is een detail want het was een goed hotel.

Great location near to all restaurants & shops all walkable distance, very clean rooms with all necessities available & friendly staff from management to housekeeping. Great choice at breakfast time, omelets were delicious!

Swimming pool area is smaller than the photos portrayed & not many sun loungers available if it gets busy but still a lovely area to cool off in. Hair dryer in room cut out constantly but not a huge deal!

Its my second stay here at this hotel. It is super close to the cliff. Rooms are big and clean . Breakfast was very nice . Really no complaints , plus the price is great as well

Het hotel ligt centraal en dicht bij de klif. Het gebouw ziet er keurig uit , zowel van binnen als buiten. Ook is er een mooi goed onderhouden zwembad met ligbedden , handdoeken zijn verkrijgbaar bij het zwembad. De kamer ziet er netjes uit , met een klein balkon met zitje. Een keurige badkamer met alle voorzieningen. Al moet je wel opletten dat de badkamer vloer niet nat word door het douchen. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd op de begane grond in een grote ontbijt zaal. Persoonlijk vond ik het ontbijt meer gericht op Aziatische gasten dan op Europees gasten . Voor de Europese gasten vindt ik persoonlijk dat de mogelijke keuze voor een ontbijt beperkt is. De manager van het hotel was een vriendelijke en spontane man , die s'-morgens tijdens het ontbijt , bij de gasten langs ging om te vragen of alles naar wens is. Het personeel vond ik uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De mooie kamer had wel degelijk achterstallig onderhoud. De bedbodem kraakte verschrikkelijk , al bij de minste beweging kraakt het bed . De matrassen waren daar in tegen goed. De kamer 105 die wij hadden , lag vlak naast een naburig hotel , die veel harde muziek draaide gedurende de dag en avond. de muziek stopte tussen 22.00 en 23.00 uur. Overdag was de muziek te hard om op het balkon te vertoeven.

The room was great and quiet. The pool was relaxing. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff if great as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our flight was cancelled and we extended our stay for four more days – and we were very happy to stay longer. The hotel is very clean, well organized and peaceful. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. The location is also great, very close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend this place

Confort et propreté de la chambre. Bon petit déjeuner. Salle de sport correcte et utilisable (attention cependant, il faut y aller tôt car elle est sous les toits et n'a pas de climatisation). Localisation proche de la falaise de Varkala, possibilité de s'y rendre à pieds facilement.

The place is calm and well managed. The beaches are easily walkable. The pool is big enough for some swim.

The room layout and size with the balcony was good. Walking distance from the Varkala Cliff. Breakfast was good. The staff was very courteous though I feel the number of people in this facilities were less . The manager was very helpfull.

The bed was too springy.. not comfortable to sleep. The bathroom was really bad... not at all up to the mark. Not even a place to hang the clothes. Entertainment TV was with a shaky picture reminding me of TV of 1980. Dinner or Lunch here is not recommended. The quality of the staff was not very good ( except the manager). The facility is frequent with foreign tourists so the quality of staff must be improved.

Everything was perfect, super friendly and helpful staff Super location 200 m from the cliff / beach and a street of restaurants ! The swimming pool and massage as well as spacious and well equipped and decorated rooms. Perfect spot. If ever again in Varakala will definitely come back

Lage fussläufig zum North Cliff! Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben direkt eine Woche verlängert!

Der an sich schöne Poolbereich könnte mit wenigen Details wie Sonnenschirmen ansprechender gestaltet werden!
