Its very unique with great staff Mido , abdularahman, Omar, Mohammed and Ahmad. Nice time spending with some nice trips and adventures

The place was very filthy and poorly maintained. All of it was just too dirty. This goes for our room, as well for common, external areas. The overall structure looked poorly maintained, as if the hotel has been closed for a long time or has been abandoned. In our room, mattresses and pillows were all stained, the shower had broken tiles, both sinks were dirty, one was broken, the sink in the toilet.. not sure what happened there. To us it felt like a scam, especially when we compare it with the photos displayed on Booking.com, which were clearly taken months or maybe years ago. Reception staff was basically absent, if not for a very young guy who didn't speak English at all. It was impossible to communicate with him and ask for proper help. No other staff was available in the structure. We slept there only one night, then we left to another place.

The stay was very disappointing. The room was extremely dirty and clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival. The entire place looked messy and poorly maintained. The swimming pool also seemed neglected and not properly taken care of. There was no soap or even toilet paper provided in the bathroom. Overall, the hotel looked as if it had been closed for a long time and not prepared for guests. Unfortunately, it did not feel like a functioning hotel and we would not recommend staying here.

(Hostel Stimmung anstatt professioneller Einstellung) Es findet keine Zimmerreinigung statt (wir mussten selbst vom Vorgänger reinigen), mehrmaliges Nachfragen selbst für Toilettenpapier; Reparaturen in den Zimmern finden nicht statt (flackernde Lampen, kaputte Schränke etc.) Airport Taxi doppelter bis dreifacher Preis (100 USD anstatt 35 USD); Nächtliche Party´s von Nicht-Hotelgästen werden veranstaltet um zusätzliche Einnahmen zu generieren Falscher Preis bei Booking (wir haben jeden Tag Feiertagstarif bezahlt x 12 Nächte!)

The property is stunning - the pool is such a nice place to relax by and the rooms are very spacious and clean! We loved our stay. The host, Mango, was also so hospitable and helped us book taxis, organise a trip to the blue hole etc.

We originally booked Casa D’or but were transferred to their sister hotel, Neom — and this review is for Neom. Mr. Badr was incredibly helpful and accommodating to all our requests. We were three families, and each of us felt very comfortable and happy throughout our stay. The staff were always smiling, polite, and ready to assist. The view is absolutely spectacular, and the hotel offers full food and beverage services, reliable Wi-Fi, and efficient air conditioning. I highly recommend Neom and will definitely be coming back!

It’s the second time we’ve stayed in Dahab with Thomas & his wonderful team at Casa d’Or. Everything about this hotel, and the service provided, is perfect. At first glance the location is a little unusual, but it’s only a short walk to the pedestrian area along the Dahab waterfront for restaurants, etc, and away for the noise and intensity of of the centre of Dahab. It’s calm location, with beautiful views of the mosque and mountains, with easy access to everything you need is ideal. We were mostly in Dahab for the kite surfing, and Casa d’Or can organize a driver for all transfer to the lagoon (or elsewhere) and back, and put it on your bill (at local rates) so you not need the hassle of negotiating costs with every local driver. As I said, Casa d'Or is a great little hotel with exceptional service.

There was nothing to not like.

The room is bigger abd more comfortable than the rest of Dahab hotels.

The hotel is more than double price of all hotels in the area but i find this unjustifiable because: The hotel location is further to the beach and you walk in the dark desert in the middle of nowhere to get back to your room. The room was okay but falling apart, the closet door could fall any moment and is not opening and closing properly and a metal rod fixed in the shower almost fell on my head. The TV has no channels,relying only on stream services and most mornings the internet connection was not working. A room that expensive with no TV! I barely met any of the staff, i consider myself lucky that i was able to get there attention for the check in. The room was an OCD nightmare with all the horrible crooked picture of cheap prints of red sea corals wrongly hung on the wall. You feel like the room is randomly furnished. My friend has booked the same room and he got a bean bag that i didn't have and a decorative side lamp that was missing from my room.

We truly loved our stay at Casa d’Or. It is a new construction near city center, a real gem of Dahab. The hotel manager, Ahmed, is a lovely person - he welcomed us warmly and upgraded us to the best room in the hotel. The room was sparkling clean and very spacious. It had a great balcony with Mountain View. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is huge. Ahmed and the staff are super friendly and professional. They would bring us delicious breakfast delivered in the room every day. The room was perfectly made and cleaned daily. For Anything we needed, Ahmed and his team were always happy to help. The best hosts ever! They would also take care of all the plants and flowers around the palazzo as well as of all the animals. Truly genuine and lovely people. We will always remember Casa d’or as one of the best stay in our lives (and we do travel a lot!). We will be surely back! Thanks Ahmed and the team for making us feel like at home and even better!

super cute smaller place, perfect location being nearby everything we wanted in Dahab. staff was amazing, Ahmed was super helpful and very nice and on top of that after departure he reached out as I had forgotten my purse and was super helpful in order for me to get back. highly recommend

Everything was and is Amazing, from the room service employees ( the gentle Moftah), the manager ( Ahmed Haiti)all the way to the owner(Thomas the diver)nothing but chill vibes and respect. Great location, a 2 minute walk away from The Mamsha, and yet it's very quiet and serene. Highly recommend asking Mr Haiti for his unique tour around Dahab. My wife and I loved it for our honeymoon and will definitely come back again to it

Thomas is a great host and together with his team makes you feel at home. Diving experience with the service the hotel offers is superb. We come back every year-!!

Thomas, Mohammed and the team could not have done more to help. They organised our diving (which was incredible!) and airport transfers very smoothly. The room & pool area was always meticulously clean & we were left alone to enjoy the peace of the pool & sunloungers in the afternoon. Incredible breakfast too. Dahab is more developed since we were here last 24 years ago but it has still retained its charm. A perfect holiday, thank you!

I really loved this hotel. Its new, beautifully decorated and very clean. The room was very spacious, as is the very nice bathroom, with great rainshower. Great beds. Kids loved the pool and the online tv so they could stream their apps and playing with the little dog. The service is top as the location. About 5-10 min walk from the promenade.

In the morning we enjoyed an abundant and very tasty breakfast that was freshly made for us every day. Thomas and Muhammad were extremely nice and attentive and did anything within their power to make our staying at Casa D’or absolutely amazing - including book our diving at the Big Blue Dahab with Muhammad, a highly recommended diving instructor, preparing the most delicious and fresh breakfast, playing PlayStation together and much more. We loved this place so much and felt at home right away. We will definitely come back soon!

We had a great time in casa D'Or! It's located in a great place near the beach but still not in a noisy area. It's clean and the rooms are very nice and have everything you need. Very modern and comfortable, room was amazing. Staff were extremely nice and accomodating, especially Mohammed the manager. Away from the centre so nice and quiet but still able to walk into the middle of town.

Breakfast and service was fantastic. Truly the best place to stay in dahab, where you can experience the town and have a vacation villa vibe with all the amentities and benefits of staying at a hotel. Thomas, the owner was so welcoming and amazing, 10/10.

We stayed at Casa d’Or for 3 nights including New Years’ Eve and had an overall positive experience. The owner and host, Thomas, is extremely friendly – he makes his guests feel like they are being welcomed into his home. He served us fresh orange juice on arrival, cooked up dinner and shared many drinks with us on New Years’ Eve, helped us schedule transportation from the hotel, and was able to collect our laundry when we were away from the property. That said, the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It is seemingly a passion project built by the owner and is run more like a guesthouse than a hotel. For instance, the design is unique and incohesive, though it may appeal to others. There is no formal reception, we just interacted with Thomas via Whatsapp prior to arrival. The hotel is tucked away from the main strip of Dahab and there is no road leading to the property, which made it confusing for our taxi driver to find. Because it is situated a ways from the main road, there isn’t much of a view from the hotel, just desert and construction sites. Finally, we had some issues with the room itself such as dusty floors on arrival and no hot water for 3 days. Overall, the host made our stay very enjoyable by making the experience personal instead of purely transactional but without Thomas, I don’t think we would recommend the place.

We loooved staying at Casa d’Or. I mean, you truly feel like you are in a fairytale, the house is just sooooo magical! As well as the rooms, they are super spacious and beautiful. Also, the team working there is so truly welcoming, especially the amazing Dina!! These guys will make sure your stay will be amazing, that’s for sure. They truly put their heart into their work snd business and you can really feel it. The breakfast was really lovely and generous, and the diving program they helped us signing up for was really good! I can’t wait to come back. Dahab is such a special place and staying at Casa d’Or will make it even more special!! I recently stayed at Casa D’OR for just over 10 days. I must say that this is one of the best boutique hotel experiences I’ve had hands-down. The owner was absolutely incredible. I felt like I was staying at a A world famous Hotel. Every single thing that we wanted was organized and there was just nothing that the Casa D’OR team would not do for us. I loved the bedrooms they were spacious and modern. Exterior was great too, we spent many days by the swimming pool bathing in the warm Egyptian sun. The breakfast was crazy. Every morning the owner and his team would rustle up a delicious homemade breakfast. When it comes to diving this is the spot. Thomas (the owner) took us out two to three times a day, held our hands all the way. I don’t think you could ever have a better dive master than Thomas. We felt so safe deep under and had the best time of our life. I am now proud to say I have my Open Water license. It’s just crazy out there. You stick your head under the water with a mask and it feels like you’ve suddenly arrived in paradise. So to conclude an excellent hotel with superb service and one of the best hosts I’ve experienced. Diving I believe speaks for itself in Dahab!

I have stayed in Casa D’or Dahab from 8th of October 2020 till 10th of October. It was my first trip to Dahab, and I was very lucky to find such a nice and comfortable hotel, it was a holiday period most of the hotel was fully booked. From the minute I arrived, I felt so welcomed, the hotel has a unique style that made me feel in my own home. Room are very clean, very good shower free WiFi, smart TV and view of the pool and the mountains. The hotel team are very helpful and they can get you anything that you want. The hotel is very well located, just few minutes walking and you are in the heart of Dahab. This is certainly a hotel to try and it became my best hotel in Dahab.
