The Kandyan Manor by Bhathiya & Suzy

La struttura è immersa nel verde, a pochi minuti di Tuk Tuk dal centro, accoglienza eccellente,suzi e bhathiya sono due padroni di casa molto gentili e disponibili, ottima colazione, location molto curata, piacevole compagnia di 2 Labrador, se tornassi a kandy, tappa obbligatoria, consigliatissimo!!!

The hosts are fantastic friendly people! We enjoyed talking to them getting advice and just getting some insights about Srilanka from the non-tourist side! The place is super cozy, with a lot of love and attention to detail for the decorations etc. It's a perfect place to rest and chill if you want to have a slow day !

We had a wonderful time staying at The Kandyan Manor. The Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Suzy and Bhatiya took great care in explaining what the food was and catered for my nut allergy with care. Definitely recommend this place for a calm and relaxed stay where you feel at one with nature. We had the best sleep of our trip! Christina & Yoseph ♥️

La maison est incroyable. Dans une ville dense mais au calme on se croirait en plein milieu de la jungle, c'est magnifique et reposant. Suzy et son mari sont adorables, on s'est senti comme à la maison et c'est bien la 1ere fois depuis le début de notre séjour. Le repas est succulent on a adoré. Que du positif, une adresse à recommander encore et encore !!

Todo! La casa es preciosa! Las habitaciones son amplias y tiene un jardín maravilloso donde relajarse. Pero lo mejor son los anfitriones: Suzy y B. Son muy amables y familiares. Nos ayudaron en todo. Incluso el día que llegamos nos pidieron comida a domicilio porque estábamos muy cansados. En principio, habíamos reservado una habitación familiar (somos 5) pero Suzy nos puso en dos habitaciones por el mismo precio para que estuviésemos más cómodos: todo un detalle por si parte. El desayuno lo prepara Suzy y está buenísimo: muy variado y abundante. Hay que señalar que la casa ya está en el límite de Kandy, a unos 20min en transporte del centro de la ciudad. Por lo que se debe coger un Tuk tuk o bus. Nosotros fuimos en bus y volvimos en tuk tuk: dos experiencias imprescindibles en Sri Lanka!

Man wird grad von 2 hunden begrüsst, echt cool! Wer mit hunden nichts anfangen kann, sie liegen manchmal im weg aber sind wohlerzogen. Mega gemütlicher Eingangsbereich! Lâd zum verweilen ein!Sehr schön zum schwimmen. Gastgeber sind super! Echt tolle Lage, alles wunderschön gestaltet. Das Zimmer einzigartig! Der Frühstück/abendessrnsort ist TOP!!! MEGA tolle Aussicht! Kolleg hat TOP geschlafen. So ein Origineles Hotel und super Gastgeber findet man selten!

Am Kolleg hatte mit dem etwas lauwarmen wasser mühe, die Geräusche vom wc nicht abgetrennt. Das 2t Bett ist kürzer, für mich zu kurz. Wenn man etwas sagt hãtten sie grössere Zustellbett wie ich erfahren hab. Damit man so am Rand der Stadt, so eine top lage hat, bedingt das es halt weiter empfernt vom Zentrum ist. Für uns egal. Für die allermeistrn wohl auch.

Der Ausblick und der freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt in mehreren wesentlichen Punkten überhaupt nicht dem Eindruck, den die sehr hohe Booking-Bewertung von 9,5 vermittelt. Bereits im ersten Zimmer fiel uns ein sehr starker muffiger bzw. schimmelartiger Geruch auf. Sehr spät am Abend konnten wir dank eines wirklich freundlichen Mitarbeiters noch in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln. Leider bestand dort derselbe intensive Geruch weiterhin. Im zweiten Zimmer fielen uns dann zusätzlich weitere erhebliche Mängel auf: Kakerlaken im Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer, deutlich verschmutzte bzw. verfärbte Kissen, ein sehr schmutziger Bettvorleger, verschmutzte Bereiche im Bad sowie auffällige Verschmutzungen an der Wasserkaraffe und im Kühlschrank der Küche. Zusätzlich konnten die Zimmer nicht abgeschlossen werden, da uns keine Schlüssel zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Besitzer waren während unseres Aufenthalts nicht vor Ort. Wir haben sie nur beim Check-in gesehen, bei dem wir den gesamten Aufenthalt direkt vollständig bezahlt haben. Danach waren ausschließlich Mitarbeiter vor Ort. Die Besitzerin erklärte den muffigen Geruch mit der Regenzeit. Vor diesem Hintergrund und aufgrund der übrigen festgestellten Mängel können wir die sehr hohe Bewertung persönlich nicht nachvollziehen. Durch den starken Geruch, die hygienischen Zustände und die fehlende Abschließbarkeit konnten wir kaum schlafen und entschieden uns deshalb, bereits nach der ersten Nacht abzureisen. Nachdem wir vorzeitig abgereist waren, wurde unsere Buchung anschließend von der Unterkunft bei Booking.com storniert. Auch das hinterließ bei uns einen unangenehmen Eindruck. Unser tatsächlicher Aufenthalt unterschied sich für uns sehr deutlich von der Darstellung und Bewertung auf Booking.com.

Todo, los anfitriones están pendientes de ti, te ayudan en absolutamente todo, de corazón gracias por toda la ayuda! El estaff, lo mismo, el chico pendientes de nosotros y nos ayudó mucho! Y que decir del hotel, es su hogar, y te sientes realmente así en un hogar! El entorno, la decoración, la vegetación tan bien cuidada, todo al detalle, es un hotel con mucho encanto, creerme que he estado en muchos hoteles, y en este? Descansas, duermes muy cómodo y relajado por todo! Es increíble !

Lo que es el alojamiento como tal, es mono. El sitio donde se desayuna y se cena tiene vistas muy bonitas

No llegamos a dormir allí porque la propietaria tuvo una discusión con nuestro driver, y consecuencia de esto sin explicarnos nada y sin que nosotros llegásemos a saber nunca nada nos pidió que nos fuéramos (nuestro driver habla lo justo de ingles y no se explica y ella por mucho que insistimos no nos explicó nada). Intentando ser objetiva: la piscina en fotos tiene mucha mejor pinta de lo que es la realidad (bastante sucia e invita poco a darse un baño ahí). Además, nos cobraron un 3,5% extra por pagar con tarjeta que ni ella misma nos dijo ni hemos visto en ningún sitio anunciado. (Parece que confia en que entre la cena y el cambio te pierdas y no te des cuenta del cargo extra). Nos decidimos por este alojamiento por las valoraciones, pero ahora nos cuesta entenderlas.

Nous avons voyagé 2 mois au Sri Lanka et cette maison d’hôtes est le meilleur endroit de tous. Une qualité exceptionnelle d’accueil, de charme et de décoration du lieu, de calme et de paix. Petit-déjeuner et repas inventif, copieux et varié. La piscine est aussi un point fort. A découvrir absolument !

Nous avions un vol retour alors nous regrettons de ne pas avoir pu y séjourner plus longtemps !

Het is werkelijk zo prachtig! Villa met liefde ingericht en alles zo verzorgd. De eigenaren extreem hartelijk, eten geweldig. Villa in mooie rustige omgeving net buiten alle drukte, maar binnen 10-15 minuten met tuk tuk in centrum van Kandy. De tuin oh zo geweldig! En we zijn compleet verliefd op Kelly en Pepper!

Beautiful and peaceful location with graceful and generous hosts. The breakfast was amazing, it was just a shame we couldn’t stay longer!

La struttura è stupenda con oggetti di ogni tipo, una residenza vissuta piena di fascino! I proprietari sono fantastici!! L’area per la colazione all’esterno è incredibile! I loro cani sono affettuosissimi e tranquilli. Bhathiya and Susy were amazing, the manor is spectacular full of different object. Full of charm. The breakfast area is amazing!! Their dogs, Kelly and Pepper are lovely and quiet.

Ook wij vonden het echt een fijne plek met lieve mensen. Het huis zit al generaties in de familie en heeft veel verschillende leuke plekjes om te zitten. Wij hadden de grote familiekamer. Een 2-persoonsbed en 3 aparte bedden in aparte kamer. Prima! Zowel het avondeten als het ontbijt was erg lekker. Het brood werd vers gebakken. Aanrader dus, zeker omdat het er erg rustig is en je een prachtig uitzicht hebt vanuit het restaurantje. Binnen een kwartiertje ben je in het centrum of bij de Ella swing (ook een aanrader).

Beautiful location out of the busyness of Kandy. A property rich in history, fantastic large rooms and amazing view from the dining area. Loved using the pool for a refreshing dip at the end of the day and there was also lots of space outside our room to relax and play games with the family. Suzy and Bhathiya made our family of 7 feel extremely welcome and accommodated all of our needs. The motorbike tour into Kandy was a real highlight and if we’d have had more time we would love to have seen the knuckles ranges by bike with Ride Ceylon. Suzy is an exceptional chef and the food was outstanding- this was our first stop of a 3 week stay in Sri-Lanka and feel the food will be very hard to beat! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and a brilliant start to our holidays!

Sorry we couldn’t stay longer and enjoy one of Suzy’s cookery classes!

Such a wonderful location, very quiet just outside the city. Bhathiya and Suzy are a great host, making every minute a great experience. Breakfast and Dinner were amazing! The view from the terras is stunning! We slept in the cozy cottage, very nice and very comfortable!

Homely accommodation away from the hustle. Lovely house and garden setting just outside town. Very quiet and amazing views at breakfast overlooking the hills and nature. Comfy beds with large family room and bathroom. Small plunge pool in courtyard. And the dog!

Loved everything about this very fascinating homestay. Bhathiya & Suzy were so welcoming & interesting to talk to. We enjoyed their company & were very much made to feel at home. The inside pool was wonderful after a busy day. The home is comfortable, clean & conveniently located. Das war eine zauberhafte Unterkunft bei Suzy und Bhathiya. So viel Liebe im ganzen Haus. Der Pool und der Bereich für das Essen war für uns einzigartig. Wir waren 3 Nächte hier und hatten eine perfekte Zeit. Danke für alles.

Very welcoming hosts!!! Helped us arrange the transfer. Great eating area! Great breakfast and dinner! A very nice homestay.

For us AC was lacking- we weren’t able to sleep. But that’s on us- we knew we wouldn’t have it. Just in this heat it was an issue- we thought it wouldn’t be :) The pool is a bit strange. We did not get how to use it. It was sort of in the hosts house and it felt we would somehow disturb- but probably again our fault :)

What a beautiful place! We were wowed when we arrived to the surroundings, furnishings and general feel of the place. We had a lovely breakfast with views that overlooked the jungle. Hands down our favourite stay in Sri Lanka during our time - wish we stayed for longer!

The dogs were quite noisy and woke us up sadly, the only downside we experienced!

We had beautiful stay in this paradise! Close to the city but settled in nature. Sound of animals during the night and best breakfast view. Its also hard not to mention the owners who are truly heart warming people. You will be in best hands!

Cama de 1,35 m pero cómoda

Wat is het hier fijn vertoeven. En wat hebben we genoten van alles. De eigenaren zijn heel lief en reuze behulpzaam, de accommodatie is net een museum, je komt ogen tekort. Ons huisje was heel comfortabel en het eten heerlijk. En dan heb ik de prachtige omgeving met de vele geluiden nog niet genoemd. Kortom volop genieten.

De lieve eigenaren. Ze gaven goede tips voor Kandy. En denken goed met je mee.Kandy stad ligt op 4 km afstand en de bus stopt beneden aan de weg.Voor 11 cent ben je in het centrum en terug met pick me. Of tuk tuk. De plek is een klein Groot paradijsje.Wauw effect. Susy kookt enorm lekker We hebben dan ook elke avond het diner bij de accomodatie gedaan. Een heerlijk zwembad om s middags even af te koelen. De vogels die de hele dag zingen.Het uitzicht bij het ontbijt en diner in het restaurant. We komen graag nog een keer terug.

C est une maison fabuleuse, avec une décoration éclectique soignée, la piscine est un plus agréable, mais le plus fascinant est la vue de la terrasse du restaurant sur la jungle, les hôtes sont aux petits soins, la nourriture est excellente et ils ont du vin, nous étions dans un bungalow et se doucher sous la voûte étoilée une expérience au top, une mention spéciale pour le jardin

Prachtige locatie, vlak bij de hoofdweg en toch rustig. Heel ruim, gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, , prachtige ingerichte kamers en goede bedden. Het eten was overheerlijk (beste Kothu die we al aten), zowel diner als ontbijt. De kookles met Suzy was heel interessant en lekker. Huiselijke sfeer en warme hosts. Aanrader

Tout. suzy et son mari sont accueillants, bien veillants , professionnels et pleins de bons conseils. A quelques minutes du brouhaha de Kandi, ils nous accueillent dans un écrin de nature dans leur demeure familiale décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Plein d authenticité, et de cachet ce lieu est une véritable pépite. Pour couronner le tout Suzy est une cuisinière hors pair. Merci a eux.

Staying at Suzy and B’s homestay was an absolute delight. They are an amazing couple who have created a truly special place. The pavilion is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and decorated with incredible taste—every detail feels intentional and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, the house felt very familial, giving us a genuine “like at home” feeling. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily come back anytime. 🌿

Wow, Suzy and Bhathiya's home was a mix of elegance, history and culture amongst the beautiful Kandyan trees. I truly felt at home here. I am very glad we saved our best stay for last. I don't even know where to start on the cooking!!! Best food in Sri Lanka. I didn't want to leave the manor to go anywhere. Perfection from start to finish. Very grateful for this experience and I cant wait to come back. Big cuddles to the manor puppies Kelly and Pepper too!

Absolutely nothing

La casa es espectacular, con muchos rincones bonitos. Lugar muy relajante, encantador y especial. Las vistas desde el lugar de desayuno son una pasada, el desayuno muy rico. Suzy y su marido son muy amables y facilitan la estancia. Un lugar de ensueño donde tranquilamente se puede estar 3 o 4 noches.

Una lástima que no pudimos disfrutar de las artes culinarias de Suzy.

Bhatiya and Suzy are a very warm and welcoming couple and give you an excellent service on board. The manor house is an experience of its own located adjacent to a tropical rainforest. The green in their antique and rustic house along with their loving dogs and the relaxing nature sounds from the mountains and the forest with it's wild life make you feel in a refuge. I have been to many UK manor houses but this one will tell you a story as you walk its rooms, and the hosts represent the wonderful culture of Srilanka themselves with the delicious culinary items prepared by Suzy at request, along with the special New Years dinner served with home made wines. Not to forget a must do is a dip in their courtyard swimming pool which is most refreshing after a hot day! We would have love staying here longer, time permitting as the setting is a complete experience of its own and leaves you feeling loved, welcomed and totally at peace.

The hosts Bhathiya and Suzy were so warm and welcoming. The entire property was very tastefully decorated and was such a charming and cosy place to stay. Prakash was also a very helpful worker. We had some home cooked meals which were curated by Suzy and it was simply sublime. The room we stayed in was so charming and comfortable. There were many spots around the house where you could sit with a nice book and take in The Kandyan and all its beauty. The owner’s dogs, Kelly and Pepper were also so gentle and friendly. This added to the relaxed charm of this beautiful place. We are definitely returning for another stay.

Una casa incantevole e affascinante cosi' come i suoi proprietari. Una casa coloniale ricca di storia e di fascino. Suzi ottima cuoca e sempre premurosa Abbiamo dormito in hna delle stanze della casa, era enorme, luminosa e curata. Pulizia eccellente Spazi comuni dive rilassarsi e godersi la tranquillita' fuori dal caos unfernale del centro. Due viaggiatori e persone di grandi esperienze Grazie davvero per come ci avete fatto sentire i benvenuti!

This property was unique and like nothing we have seen before. It was a haven amongst a busy city and the photos do not do it justice. The hospitality was second to none, and our hosts were willing to help us out with anything during our stay. We especially enjoyed our dinner at the property which was cooked by the owner. The two beautiful dogs on the property were a welcome surprise who loved lots of pats during our stay. We were very pleased to stay here as a part of our honeymoon. Thank you!

Der Pool ist ein Traum. Die Terasse mit Ausblick ist unglaublich schön. Das Personal sehr freundlich und die Gastgeber erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch. Suzy kocht unglaublich gut. Bestes Curry. Das Haus ist liebevoll mit vielen Erinnerungen aus den letzten 6 Generationen gefüllt und das macht es einzigartig.

Our favourite thing about this accomodation were the lovely couple who own it. They are so friendly, and interesting to talk to. Staying here felt homey and provides that traveling experience where you can connect with and get to know the hosts. They have built a lovely area in the garden, overlooking a forest to enjoy tastey meals cooked from scratch! Not to mention, Kandy was so much better than we expected. It's really fun to explore the city. We wished we had longer to explore the surrounding mountains.

The meals were a little pricey for Sri Lanka, but we didn't regret joining for one meal as it was part of the experience - and really yummy!

La amabilidad de Suzy y su familia. La casa era muy bonita y muy grande. El desayuno estava muy bueno y era muy completo (fruta,tostadas,cafe…) y desayunamos con muy buenas vistas. El precio de este alojamiento es economico y se respira mucha paz. El marido de Suzy nos espero a las 07:30am en la puerta para despedirse de nosotros.

La ubicacion; Estava muy lejos del centro (4km algo mas) reservamos este alojamiento por las buenas valoraciones pero no es lo que esperavamos; la cabaña estava llena de insectos (hormigas,100pies,escarabajos..) en la cama y en el baño.. puerta de la cabaña no cerrava bien aparte de que iba sin llave, va con un solo pestillo. El horario del desayuno era muy pronto para nosotros (de 7am hasta las 09am). Ofrece comida para cenar aqui que hay que avisar con antelacion, cenamos aqui una noche y estava muy bueno todo! un arroz con curry y una hamburguesa doble,comida casera que se agradece cuando estas en un pais asi,pero algo elevado (8USD un plato de arroz con curry). El agua caliente tardava mucho en salir. Disponia de wifi pero no iba. Por lo demas, estuvimos bien. Muchas gracias por todo familia

Non troverete posto più bello di questo. Casa colonica nel mezzo della giungla, dove regna il silenzio e la pace. I proprietari, marito e moglie, sono persone fantastiche, ci hanno accolto nella loro casa come dei figli chiacchierando con noi e dandoci consigli. Vi consiglio di fare la cooking class con Suzy, ha una cucina in mezzo alla giungla e vi insegnerà tutti i trucchi della cucina cingalese. Insomma, tappa obbligatoria se passate da Kandy.

Ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit sehr schönen Zimmern! Die beiden Besitzer sind Mega nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Die Lage ist auch ganz gut, sofern man eher etwas ruhigeres sucht - nach Kandy fährt man mit dem TukTuk ca 15 min.

Absolutely stunning house with wonderful hosts! Such a beautiful place and the hosts were so kind and welcoming. It was such a privilege to stay with a lovely family in such a beautiful place steeped in history. Will always remember this stay, if you have a chance to go would highly recommend it!

Liebevolle Hosts und ein Haus mit Geschichte, umgebaut zu einem kleinen Paradies! Beim Frühstück schaut man in den Dschungel. Man muss sich aber dessen bewusst sein, dass die Unterkunft etwas außerhalb liegt (hat uns nicht gestört)!

Das Frühstück ist Standard, aber nichts besonderes.

Located right in the jungle the view from the breakfast room was amazing. The Manor house is historic and full of charm. Suzie and her husband are lovely people. I had a swim in the pool and it was refreshing.

We struggled a bit with the hot water until we were shown how it worked. Every question was answered very quickly!

Suzy est très accueillante. Elle cuisine très bien. Sa maison est magnifique et énorme. Un grand merci à elle pour son hospitalité. Un coin tranquille et apaisant.

La maison est très chaleureuse et appelle à se détendre. Les hôtes sont très accueillant et sympathique! La localisation (un peu retiré de Kandy, environ 20/30min en voiture) est un réel atout si vous souhaitez vous reposer après des journées intenses dans la ville de Kandy; un petit havre de paix à 4km de Kandy. Nous recommandons fortement cet endroit.

Beautiful and peaceful, perfect to find rest after visiting the chaotic city center of Kandy. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend the cooking class for the full experience.

A beautiful oasis of peace, close enough to Kandy to get there by TukTuk. Suzy en Bhathiya were extremely helpful. We also took Suzy’s cooking class, which was nothing short of amazing. Thank you!

Les hôtes sont très accueillants, toujours disponibles et de bons conseils. Le lieu est magnifique, la salle du petit déjeuner donne sur une vue plongeante dans la forêt. La cabane offre une immersion totale dans la forêt. Localisation à l’écart du tumulte du centre ville (15 minutes en tuktuk).

L’appel à la prière au petit matin et la proximité avec des bars de nuits peuvent rendre la nuit bruyante.

Een oase van rust, prachtig huis met 2 eigenaren die in alle rust je hartelijk ontvangen! Geen hotel-gevoel, maar gezellige huiselijke sfeer. Prachtige plek voor ontbijt/ dinner met zicht op de jungle. TOP-accommodatie!!!

Una estancia buenísima , aunque solo fue una noche fue suficiente para estar súper cómodos y en un ambiente familiar exquisito. El trato de los anfitriones inmejorable con una cercanía y trato humano de 10 Totalmente recomendable El desayuno buenísimo !!

La villa es increíble! La vista desde la zona del comedor es brutal! Pura naturaleza! Me quedé hipnotizado desayunando con esas vistas! La casa está decorada con un gusto buenísimo! El desayuno hecho por Suzy estaba buenísimo con un pan casero alucinante! Muy recomendable

De manor is net buiten Kandy gelegen. Net van de weg af en ligt in een oase van stilte. Prachtig huis waar je in zijn geheel gebruik van mag maken. Wij sliepen in een van de tuinhuisjes met buitendouche, wat een belevenis op zich is. Suzy, de gastvrouw, kan een kookcursus voor je verzorgen. Wij hebben een heerlijk 5 dish Sri Lankaanse Rice curry leren maken. Deze werd bereidt op een originele Sr Lankaanse Klei oven. Diner, lunch en ontbijt zijn van prima kwaliteit en alles bereid door Bathiya en Suzy. Twee nachten was eigenlijk te kort!

Alles was prima!! Bedden wat kort voor Europeanen, maar was zeker geen struikelblok!!

De hosts waren supervriendelijk en gastvrij, het verblijf zelf is prachtig en straalt enorm veel rust uit. Ook het eten was overheerijk. Onze zoon was jarig en hij werd extra verwend met een zelf gemaakte chocoladecake. Wij zouden hier met heel veel plezier terugkomen!

It is an old mansion, tastefully renovated. It’s quite big and has various rooms and common areas. It full of history and memorabilia from the owners’ family. Our room was big, the bathroom even bigger. It takes you back in time. It’s on hills within the city but right in the middle of the jungle so quiet and nice. We had dinner and the food was delicious. Breakfast is freshly cooked right in front of guests. The restaurant is on a platform overlooking the jungle

Estuvimos muy poco tiempo aunque nos hubiera gustado quedarnos más. Es una casa colonial preciosa, con jardín. Los dueños son muy amables y el desayuno es buenísimo.

Lo único que diría es que está un poco retirado de Kandy, pero esto también lo hace especial.

Everything. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the warm hospitality from Suzy and Bhathiya. Their place is beautiful and a lovely place to stay - a little out of Kandy but that makes it even more perfect in our view. It’s quiet and relaxing and after being out and about we loved sitting and enjoying the gardens or having a swim. Suzy is a wonderful cook too and was brilliant with my husband’s dietary needs (he can’t eat anything spicy which can be a little tricky in Sri Lanka!) Suzy was fantastic organising Tuktuks for us to get into town and a day trip to Sigiriya. Thanks for the wonderful stay and we hope to see you again, Tracy and Doug PS a back scratch for your lovely Labradors from us too 🐾

Bhathiya and Suzy are so lovely! They were really kind to me offering to drop me to the station super early in the morning and giving me some food for the trip. Sitting out overlooking their garden is beautiful.

Incredible!! From to start to finish - the communication with staff, stunning pool, interior design, homely touches, garden, view from the dining area, dinner and breakfast and staff. We were lucky enough to essentially have the whole manor to ourselves and the stay was a real highlight of our Sri Lanka travels.

Can’t fault a thing, wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing opportunity to share a beautiful family home surrounded by peace and quiet but only a short tuk tuk ride into Kandy which Suzy kindly sorted out. The food was delicious, breakfast and dinner, overlooking the lush garden - completely idyllic. The rooms are furnished with antiques and the beds are very comfy, could not recommend this place more!

Adore the decoration of the house the environment the breakfast room was amazing and generally it was such a nice environment

The bathrooms were a bit too old-fashioned. I would’ve liked them to be more modern.

La maison est très belle à l’ancienne. Les photos représentent bien le décors. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. La salle à manger donne sur la jungle.

Notre chambre était très très humide et vu sa situation au nord et sans soleil elle le restera Le Wifi est presque inexistant. La patronne m’a répondu : que nous pouvons chercher un autre hôtel si nous le souhaitions sans payer la moindre dédommagement. Le ton était plus que ferme. Le centre de Kandy est loin, une heure suite à la circulation.

Très belle maison d'hôtes, agréable à vivre, une vue fantastique sur la forêt pendant les repas, préparés avec soins. Les hôtes sont charmants et plein de bons conseils. J'espère avoir l'occasion d'y retourner.

A 15 mn du centre en tuktuk. Mais en fait, c'est plutôt agréable ! Tranquillité assurée.

Es ist eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit im Dschungel. Wer Naturliebhaber ist, ist hier genau richtig. Was eine Blumenvielfalt. Man fühlt sich wie in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Tolle Möbel und Accessoires.
