Lagaria Hotel

I stayed at Lagaria Hotel two years ago and had a very positive experience, which is why I decided to come back. Unfortunately, this time I was a little disappointed. The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and I really appreciated that they upgraded my room and moved me to the apartment section. However, the apartment itself did not quite meet my expectations. The bathroom was extremely small, there were a few things that were slightly damaged or in need of maintenance, and the bed felt quite small for two people. Housekeeping was another issue. After cleaning the room, shampoo and shower gel were repeatedly not replaced, so I had to call reception several times to ask for them. These are small details, but they make a difference, especially at a hotel of this standard. Overall, the staff are genuinely polite, friendly and willing to help, and I have no complaints about their attitude. However, compared with my previous stay two years ago, I felt that there were some issues with maintenance, housekeeping and overall management this time. I still like the hotel and its atmosphere, but unfortunately this stay did not quite live up to the positive experience I had before.

Clean, bright and modern hotel. Wonderful pool & bar/restaurant. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Just a couple of niggles with the bathroom, shower switch needed holding in place if the water pressure was low. Can't plug sink due to its design, therefore shaving is a bit of a faff.

Frühstück war gut und es wurde ausreichend angeboten. Personal unterschiedlich, im Frühstücksbereich freundlich und nett, an der Rezeption sehr zurückhaltend und konservativ. Ansonsten war die Anlage okay und man hat sich auch, im gewissen Maße, wohlgefühlt.

Unser Zimmer war zum Pool 'ebenerdig' und die Terassentür war grundsätzlich nach unserer Rückkehr nicht, obwohl wir die Terassentür vorher abgeschlossen haben, nicht abgeschlossen! Dies wurde bei Reklamation damit abgetan es sei ja noch nie was passiert 🤷‍♀️

The staff cleaned the room very late, at 5 pm, the food was the same every day not very versatile, we kept getting two coffees and bathroom amenities although we were three people in the room.

Nothing to not like

The room was a good size and had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The centre of Afytos was just a few minutes away by car, and the beach was about a 5-minute drive away. There was also a good coffee machine in the room, and the staff were very nice and friendly. Also, a nice pool.

What I didn’t like was the Greek salad. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were of poor quality, which affected the overall taste. The coffee served at breakfast was also not very good. It would be nice if the hotel invested in a good coffee machine so that guests could enjoy proper-quality coffee at breakfast. Private parking 7 eur per day if by cash.

The room was nice, the staff was very friendly, breakfast was ok. It is a 10-15 -minute walk from the beach.

In our last day, the cleaning lady didn't come to clean our room, but other than that everything was ok.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Lagaria Hotel. The location is very good, only a 5–10 minute walk from the center of Afytos, and the pool area is clean and relaxing. The room was clean and well maintained, and we appreciated having a capsule coffee machine, especially because the coffee served at breakfast was not good. Unfortunately, the sofa in the room was very uncomfortable. The biggest downside was the breakfast. The menu was almost identical every day, the variety was limited, and the quality did not meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel. The staff were generally polite, but not particularly friendly. One experience that stood out was when a young lady asked us to take our drinks to our room because they had not been purchased at the pool bar. It wasn't a major issue, but it didn't feel very welcoming.

Didn't like the fact that we need to pay for the parking. Didn't like the coffee and the breakfast. We found dampness in the bathroom and bathroom faucet broken.

Öncelikle fiyat performans olarak çok başarılı bir tesis. Konum da çok iyi Afitos u çok incelemeden seçmiştik ama çok güzel bir kasaba. Türkiye den gelişte o kadar çok aracta kalınca 3 günün çoğunu burada geçirdik ve çok güzeldi.

Bothing at all..You just needen to drive to beaches..Our favourite was Kriopştgş but give a chance to Afitos beach ib order to swim with the fishes..Bring a pair of sea shoes with you..

Het was een mooie frisse kamer met een heerlijk zwembad. Het ligt vlakbij het leuke centrum dur daar loop je zo naartoe. Medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk.

Het ontbijt was toereikend maar weinig verrassend met veel verse producten. We misten verse jus d’orange en goede koffie of cappuccino.

Hotel je na dobroj lokaciji, blizu svega a opet u ulici koja je mirna i tiha. Proveli smo ovde 6 divnih dana i osećali smo se kao kod kuće. Svaki kutak hotela kao i sobe su besprekorno čisti i mirisni. Doručak je odličan i služi se u lepom ambijentu, sjajan početak dana. U dvorištu je lep bazen sa udobnim ležaljkama i bar, za one koji vole. Soba je bila lepa, prostrana, čista. Osoblje hotela je divno, topli su, srdačni i funkcionišu kao pravi tim koji učini atmosferu porodičnom i ušuškanom. Dočekala nas je nasmejana Katja koja je bila tu za sva naša pitanja, pomoć i preporuke restorana i lepih mesta. Ovde bih se uvek vratila!

The staff was very friendly - they gave us a lot of recommendations that were outstanding. The location was incredible, very close to the beach and town with lively music, food and shops.

Staff gentilissimo, camera nuova, bagno nuovo, ampia terrazza che dava sul giardino a piano terra, buona colazione dolce e salata anche con specialità greche, bella piscina con lettini molto comodi. Vicino al centro del paese, si trova da parcheggiare nelle vicinanze. Abbiamo pure usufruito della sauna e del bagno turco inclusi nel prezzo.

Hotel Lagaria spełnił nasze wszelkie oczekiwania. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu. Wspaniała obsluga, lokalizacja w urokliwym miasteczku, pokoje bardzo ładne, wygodne materace, czajnik i ekspres z kawką w pokoju, czyściutko, pokoje codziennie sprzątane, fajny basen, bardzo dobre śniadania, czego chcieć więcej. Polecamy ten hotel, naprawdę było super 😀

The location was fine, but it was completely overshadowed by the hostile management and terrible service.

Our stay was completely ruined by the hotel's constant attempts to rip us off and mistreat us. First, the room we booked had a shared balcony, but management kept it locked the entire time. They openly tried to upsell us to a pricier room just so we could access an amenity we should have already had. Second, the hygiene is a major concern. I ordered a frappe by the pool, and the milk was completely spoiled. I ended up with severe stomach issues and gas, losing an entire night of sleep because of their bad dairy. To make matters worse, they cut our promised time at the hammam short. When we left, the reception staff aggressively cornered us and threatened to charge us extra compensation because my mother’s hair color had slightly transferred onto a white towel. Hair dye on a towel is standard wear and tear for any hotel, easily fixed by industrial washing. Instead, they used it as a bullying tactic to scam us out of more money, leaving my mother incredibly stressed and unable to enjoy the final days of our vacation. On the morning of checkout, they cowarded out, acted like nothing happened, and didn't even offer an apology for their behavior or for making me sick. Unprofessional, manipulative, and terrible hospitality. Avoid this place.

Uroczy hotel z przemiłą, uśmiechniętą i kompetentną obsługą. Pokój duży, przestronny, z pięknym widokiem, łóżko wygodne, bardzo czysto. Wokół basenu i budynków hotelowych zadbana roślinność, piękne kwiaty i krzewy. Przy hotelu płatny, zamknięty parking. Na śniadanie duży wybór, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. To był bardzo miły czas w bardzo przyjemnym miejscu.

We had a wonderful stay at Lagaria Hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our stay. They genuinely made us feel comfortable and cared for. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious and fresh options every morning. The pool area was also amazing — very clean, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying the day. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. 10/10 experience!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel until we left, everything was excellent. For example, the receptionist, Sotiria, greeted us with warmth and a smile, even accompanying me to the car in the rain to help carry my luggage; she was very understanding and helpful. She thoughtfully arranged the most suitable room for our special circumstances. The other receptionist, Katia, was also very good, recommending places to visit and the best restaurants in the area, and she also helped carry our luggage to the car when we left. The attentiveness and meticulous work of the hotel staff (restaurant and housekeeping) went beyond typical tourist service. The cleanliness of the rooms and the breakfast were excellent. In short, we had a wonderful experience.

The breakfast was exceptional as in the photos, varied and suitable for different tastes. Their espresso is excellent and you can also brew your own Greek coffee on the sand.

They have mold and rust in the bathroom, which is a very serious threat to human health. I assume because the window with the booking pictures does not exist in the bathroom. So, the room we got was not the one we booked, the pictures on the booking are not representative for this type of hotel, which is below average. We also got a patio, not a balcony.. and throughout our stay the cats easily entered the ground floor and slept on chairs and things.

Wirklich sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Auf jede Frage/Bitte wurde zügig reagiert, an der Rezeption bekamen wir hilfreiche Tipps zur Region. Tolles Frühstück, schöner Pool und für kühlere Tage eine gute Sauna.
