The location was great, the hotel staff was friendly, and the room was spacious with comfortable beds.

Unfortunately, they don’t offer any vegan options for breakfast, not even soy or oat milk. We asked whether it would be possible to arrange something for breakfast the following day, especially since it was only 5 p.m. and the supermarket was just a one minute walk away. We were hopeful that they might be able to buy at least some plant based milk or soy yoghurt, but unfortunately, they didn’t. If you have any food intolerances or dietary preferences, I would recommend informing the hotel when making your booking, as they may not be able to accommodate them.

Am Morgen um 7.00 fängt es an nach Rauch zu stinken. Die Rothornbahn direkt hinter dem Haus wird eingefeuert. Das fanden wir super. Man könnte das allerdings auch anders sehen. -:)

Nothing hotel was on good location but inside room was not good they provide us the room Like it was fire exit …and also toilets are shared one ,staff has not trained properly ,unwelcoming,not well behaved also doesn’t understand basic English and also you as a costumer will not understand what they are saying

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel and the staff. Unfortunately, the service was extremely rude and unprofessional from the beginning. On the day we checked in, the staff specifically confirmed whether the booking was for one or two people. We clearly confirmed that it was for two people, and they allowed us to check in without any issue. However, on the day of checkout, they suddenly asked us to pay additional money for “extra cleaning.” This was never clearly explained to us at check-in. There were also basic issues with the hotel facilities. The lights in the hotel toilets were not working properly, and the toilets had to be shared, which was very inconvenient. We were also charged extra for cleaning and breakfast, even though breakfast was included in our booking. When we tried to ask for an explanation, the manager was very unhelpful and resistant. The staff did not explain the charges or policies clearly and communicated with us in a very unprofessional manner.we also saw some of review later of our experience. It was not good some people have lost there stuff also What was most upsetting was staff there are racist …We felt that we were treated differently and experienced behavior that came across as discriminatory and racist, every customer deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. The lack of transparency regarding charges, poor facilities, rude communication, and the way we were treated by management made us feel very uncomfortable. I would strongly recommend that the hotel improve its customer service, communication, and treatment of guests.

Das Zimmer hat sehr schlecht gerochen. Dies wurde mit einem Putzmittel, das zu stark riecht geputzt wir haben dies auch andere Revision mitgeteilt, haben aber keine Reaktion erfahren.

La ubicación era muy buena, junto al lago, la estación y el supermercado. El desayuno con vistas. Colchón cómodo. Estaba limpio. El desayuno es sencillo.

Las instalaciones necesitan una reforma, el edificio es un poco viejo. Hace calor en verano. Un tren pasa por detrás y podría despertarte.

Le repas au restaurant était très bon et les prix reste correct. Possibilité d’emporter le petit déjeuner, c’est très pratique quand on part tôt le matin.

Il manque la clim dans les chambres. Car en été avec une canicule, il a fait chaud.

Das Hotel ist an sehr zentraler Lage am Zugbahnhof, Schiffsanlegestelle und Brienzer Rothornbahn. Ein grosser Einkaufsladen (Coop) ist neben dem Hotel. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz befindet sich hinter dem Hotel. Wir hatten ein schönes ZImmer mit Blick auf die Strasse und den Brienzersee. Bei geschlossenem Fenster konnte man den Verkehr nicht hören. Das Frühstück war gut und die Zimmer auch. Wir würden sofort wieder in das Hotel gehen.

Es war alles sehr gut.

Had only booked it for lake view but instead got a wall view! Booking.com tricked me. There were flies at breakfast everyday all over the food. No fan in the room unless you go down yourself and bring one up from reception. Very small room with brick wall view

Location is great, right across from train. Super convenient. Our 2bedroom apartment was great. Wonderful view of the lake. Accommodating staff.

No air conditioning, and that’s ok since normal temps are reasonable. Just be aware if it is super hot the top level may be too toasty. We visited in July w temps 20* above normal and managed to make it once the sun went down.

Dear Manager, I am writing to share my experience staying at your property on the night of June 26, which I found deeply disappointing and which I hope you will take seriously. We were assigned a room in the attic of the building. On a day when outdoor temperatures reached 33°C (92°F), the attic room was sweltering — far beyond what is acceptable for a paying guest. The sloping roofline meant we could only stand upright near the door. Opening the windows provided no relief, as the outside air was equally warm. We had no fan. I raised this with your staff right away and requested a room change and a fan. I was told the hotel was fully booked and that only five fans existed for the entire building. I found this difficult to reconcile with the size of your property and the number of rooms in operation. Your staff — the restaurant waiters who were kind enough to try to help — did their best, but admitted they are not equipped to handle complaints. As a result, we slept very poorly throughout the night. When we finally managed to drift off in the early hours, we were woken at 7:00 AM by the start of cog train operations directly behind us. I spent the following day feeling foggy and unable to concentrate — not the experience one hopes for while traveling. ( That next morning, June 27, I spoke with the waiter/ desk attendant who said he would put my name on a list to obtain a fan. He the told me to jump in the lake to cool off. I then pleaded with the house cleaner to obtain a fan. We did get a fan and slept much better the second night) I want to be clear: I am not writing to be difficult. I understand that a heat wave is not within anyone's control. What is within your control is having adequate cooling equipment for your guests — especially for attic rooms, which are inherently the most vulnerable to heat — and ensuring that a manager is available when guests face genuine discomfort.

Hotel je umístěn ve skvělé lokalitě s možností mnoha zajímavých výletů. Přímo před hotelem je vlaková i lodní stanice. Za hotelem stanice parního vláčku. Restaurace průměrná, ale personál ochotný a i v těch velkých vedrech obsluhoval rychle a s úsměvem.

Pokoje jsou velmi malé, nebylo ani kam umístit kufr. Při příjezdu na nás čekala balená voda, což by byla milá pozornost, kdyby lahvička neměla už oddělané víčko. Nábytek na balkoně nejlevnější verze a velmi nepohodlný. Na toaletě byly cítit odpady.

Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist, für das liegt das Hotel perfekt. Direkt am Bahnhof, am See und gleich neben der Rothornbahn Station. Die Zimmer haben eine perfekte grösse (2Personen) und sind sehr sauber. Leider fehlt eine Klimanlage oder einen kleinen Kühlschrank, für diese Temperaturen. Wir hatten das Fenster im hinreren Rwil, so konnten wir das Fenster gut offen lassen, über Nacht. Das essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker und es wird rasch serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt

Very close to the bahnhof, bus station, and the landing for the BrienzerSee boats. Restaurant was also good.

Two mornings, we needed to leave for our activity before breakfast started at 8 am.

Zu wenig Platz, Frühstück so olala.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was definitely the right choice. The location is amazing—directly opposite the train station, boat station, Coop supermarket, and the Pirate Bay boat rental area, making it extremely convenient for exploring the region. The view from the room was breathtaking and one of the highlights of my stay. Breakfast was good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

One suggestion for improvement would be to start breakfast earlier. Currently, breakfast begins at 8:00 AM, which is almost two hours after sunrise. An earlier breakfast would allow guests to start their day sooner, especially those planning day trips or hikes. In my case, I had to catch a train to Grindelwald around 9:00 AM, and if breakfast had been available earlier, I would have been able to take an earlier train and make better use of the day.

No A/C. I did not think this would be a problem assuming there would be a breeze from the lake. Unfortunately, there was no breeze.

Für eine Übernachtung als Familie perfekt. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Besonders die zentrale Lage war perfekt. Auf wunsch wurde uns Frühstück Lunch vorbereitet weil wir früh los mussten.

Da wir mit dem Zug gereist sind, war die Lage perfekt, auch konnten wir nur über die Strasse für Schiff, Pedalo etc.. Das Familienzimmer war prima für unsere vierköpfige Familie

Местоположение, номер с видом на озеро. Вкусный завтрак. Помещение для завтрака- очень колоритное и аутентичное. Прямо за гостиницей подъемник Rothorn Bahn- это прям нужно посетить! Там виды вау и ах!

Не очень комфортное постельное бельё для кожи. Отсутствие холодильника в номере.
