Rakau Lodge

El Lodge es muy muy confortable y elegante pero con coherencia con el entorno. La misma construcción respeta el bosque. Es ideal para descansar y respirar. El personal es amable y muy acogedores. Comidas y bebidas de muy buena calidad y sabor.

El lugar es fantástico. Muy tranquilo, acogedor y con una salida al río con reposeras que lo hace ideal para desconectar. La comida del restaurant también es muy buena y el personal atento

Se hizo solicitud de cuna sin embargo al realizar el check in nos dicen que no tienen disponibilidad de esta (ofrecieron una pero estaba inutilizable). Así que no es seguro para ir con bebes

Wonderful lodge surrounded by amazing forest and by the beautiful Trancura river. Delicious breakfast and great food prepared by a great chef.

Manager is not on site and the service people are very nice but don’t have much experience and procedures are not clear for them. Chef is not always on site and then is very hard to get some food.

El lugar súper acogedor . En medio del bosque El río fue hermoso muy tranquilo para descansar y desconectarse de todo lo ruidoso de la ciudades grandes . Perfecto para familia, pareja hasta sola poder trabajar de forma remota

The property was perfect. Away from Pucon, quiet and beautiful and the food was incredible. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable . They tolerated our limited Spanish !

El lugar donde se encuentra el lodge es espectacular Muy agradable y la naturaleza es increíble Todos los detalles muy cuidados

O hotel é totalmente inserido na natureza e é muito silencioso e agradável. O salão principal parece de uma casa, acolhedor, e o quarto e banheiro são ótimos. O café da manhã é especialmente preparado e servido pela querida dupla Lorena e Daniela, que merecem todos os elogios. Muito simpáticas, atenciosas e prestativas. Para ficar nesse hotel, é preciso estar de carro. Ele fica a 10km do centro de Pucón, mas no meio do caminho para o parque nacional Huerquehue, para Ojos de Caburgua e pertinho do Saltos de Mariman. Tem um mercado na esquina da estrada de terra com a via principal, mas é preciso carro também.

A TV do nosso quarto não funcionou: só dispõe de apps e não conseguimos espelhar. Pedi ajuda, mas não tive grande atenção. Não é um grande problema, pois, sinceramente, acho que esse tipo de hotel nem precisa de TV. Acho que os recepcionistas poderiam ser mais interessados e proativos no sentido de dar dicas, oferecer passeios e guias. Pucón é uma cidade totalmente voltada pra natureza e esportes. Claro que fizemos tudo que queríamos, mas pesquisamos por conta própria. Eles até enviaram um PDF simples, mas não foram muito proativos e animados em sugerir, conhecer os hóspedes. Acho que a hot tub não deveria ser cobrada. Deveria ser parte da tarifa da hospedagem.

Para llegar había que andar un tramo corto de camino no asfaltado ni iluminación, pero en general en buenas condiciones, si se recorre de noche hay q ir lento por precaución

Es un lodge moderno, bonito, muy limpio. Inserto en un bosque nativo y a metros de un rio. Perfecto para desconectarse totalmente de la vida ajetreada. 10/10

Beautiful rooms embedded into the lush Forest.

This is the most wonderful place! Warm welcome and great staff. Great design and comfort. Wonderful dinner. A couple of steps through lovely garden and trees and you are at a little beach on the river, relax on the sunbeds provided, hear the river breaking on the rocks, some birds and watch the groups of rafting boats floating by. Magical atmosphere.

The property is beautiful, and the room that we had was very nice. It is an oasis just outside of Pucon. The parks are not far and the city is closeby. There is an amazing access to the river at the back of the property with a couple of beaches to relax and watch the rafting tours passing by. The property is highly recommended.

I think that the dinner menu should be simplified and fixed daily. This would allow for a simpler process in preparation for what essentially is a boutique hotel. No complaints, but this may help the property have a more efficient operation especially with the dinner service.

The hotel was clearly understaffed. They tried their best but at dinner they were clearly not here nor there.

Great staff. Great bed with a great view to the woods. Quietness.

Breakfast could be a bit better given the hotel fees (eg good yogurt instead of cheap supermarket yogurt) and there’s almost no place to store luggage of hang one’s clothes in the room.

Very nice lodge in the heart of the woods and by the river. Also very well maintained building with a fireplace in the main salon, giving a true relaxing accent. Breakfast simple but very tasty and could tailor made. Experienced and ready to help staff.

This was the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen. The rooms are nestled in the forest with big windows looking out into the trees. You can hear the river from the rooms, and there is a beach if you decide to swim. The dining room is beautifully decorated with a central fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out into the trees. The meals we ate at the lodge were definitely the best of our whole trip, particularly the vegetarian options which were delicious! The staff was attentive and incredibly welcoming and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope we'll have the chance to return!

Overall, we had a delightful stay. The hotel staff is amazing, so caring and professional: a special thank you to Sofi, Valeria and Diego. The food was also terrific, so much so that we had every meal at the hotel! Huge thanks to Juan Carlos. I must also add that I Loved the huge and comfy bed!

Nestled in the heart of the forest, this enchanting hotel offers convenient access to the river for leisurely strolls. The ambiance and attentive staff immediately instill a sense of tranquility and serenity upon arrival, making it difficult to depart. The warm and friendly hospitality extended by the staff provides an exceptionally welcoming experience, with personalized attention that made my husband and me feel truly valued as guest. I wanted to extend a special thank you to Montserrat, Valeria and Diego!

Staff, room, and general common space. It was a pleasure to stay at the Rakau Lodge. Everything from the decor to architecture was great. Food was first class. Staff was friendly, helpful. Be sure to try the hot tub.

The lodge’s setting is not too far from town but feels like a world away with only the sound of the river in the background. The property is thoughtfully designed, the people are kind and welcoming and the food is simple but so nicely done. Sitting in the wood fired hot tub was the perfect way to end a day of hiking and exploring this beautiful region. The owner Juan Carlos and Montserrat at reception were particularly lovely and offered many local recommendations. We were sad to leave but will be back.

Location a bit out-of-the-way, but beautiful spot close to the river, really great property, great staff, great food, so much to do and see in the area using Rakau Lodge as our base.
