Reviewed Aug 31, 2026We had such a lovely stay at Green Hill Mirissa! We were a group of 11 people, and the staff treated all of us so well throughout our stay. They were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and we even got to know them by name, which made the experience feel much more personal. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and the whole place had such a relaxing atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the pool . it was clean, beautiful and perfect for relaxing together. What stood out the most was definitely the hospitality. The staff made sure our whole group was comfortable and well taken care of. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Green Hill Mirissa to anyone visiting Mirissa. ❤️

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, the breakfast was hearty and the overall ambience was good. Loved our stay. We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!!

C’était sale, le ménage n’était pas fait il y avait du sable sur le sol et les tables de chevets. La douche était sale et une odeur à vomir en ressortait chaque jour. Le personnel donne l’impression de déranger

Tienen los precios de los refrescos en una pizarra, cuando pedimos uno nos duplicaron el precio dos días consecutivos aún diciéndole que el precio no era correcto porque no es el que indicaban, cuando les indicamos que lo íbamos a poner en el comentario de Booking cambio de opinión y nos quiso cobrar lo que indicaba la pizarra. Tendría mucho cuidado al comprar cosas allí. El chico de la recepción no hablaba inglés, con lo cual nuestro desayuno del segundo día no fue bueno al no podernos comunicar con él. El suelo del baño resbala mucho y es muy muy peligroso.

- mangelnde Sauberkeit der Bettwäsche - bereitgestellte Tassen waren nicht sauber bzw. nicht gespült - Pool war ungepflegt - Handtücher rochen komisch und fühlten sich nicht gewaschen an - Frühstück war teilweise nicht „frisch“ - Personal betritt Zimmer in Abwesenheit ohne ersichtlichen Grund

Reviewed May 7, 2026Had a really great stay here for 3 nights. The place was comfortable, clean, and had a very chill atmosphere. Big thanks to Dassa for helping us out with everything during the stay — super friendly and always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast he prepared every morning was honestly delicious and one of the highlights of the stay. You can really feel the care and hospitality here. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The room had a crack above the door meaning that a lizard came to join us every night! The room itself could do with a bit more care and cleaning (mould in the bathroom, bedsheets were stained on both even when we asked for it to be changed)

Reviewed Mar 26, 2026Locatie was goed. Rustig gelegen, weg van de drukke straat. Op 10 à 15 min wandelen van het strand. Zwembad zag er goed uit. Lekker ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel.
Wij waren teleurgesteld over de kamer. De kamer ziet er op foto veel mooier uit dan in werkelijkheid. Kan zeker wat opfrissing gebruiken. Leek ons ook niet echt proper. De spiegel in de badkamer was vuil en er zaten vlekken op de lakens. Daarnaast was er ook geen toiletpapier voorzien & hadden we geen wifi op de kamer. Verder was er enorm veel schimmel in de badkamer! De schimmelvlekken begonnen zich ook al te vertonen in de kamer. Erg jammer!

Direkt oberhalb unseres Zimmers stand ein riesiger Tank für die Warmwasseraufbereitung. Dieser Tank wurde jeden Morgen um 07.30 Uhr automatisch entleert, was uns den Schlaf raubte! Eine Intervention beim Hotelpersonal nützte nichts. Auch ein Telefonat mit dem Hotelmanager führte zu keiner Lösung. Wir verliessen das Hotel nach drei Nächten. Von einem Entgegenkommen (Rückerstattung oder Ähnliches) wollte der Hotelmanager nichts wissen. Green Hill: Einmal und nie wieder!

Der Besitzer des Hotels war extrem unfreundlich! Auf mehrmaliger Nachfrage eines Zusatz Bettes für unsere Tochter reagierte er extrem unfreundlich und herablassend! Wir haben am Vormittag nachgefragt und als es am Abend immer noch nicht da war, das zweite Mal... darauf hin reagierte er extrem patzig und wurde laut. Das habe ich noch nie davor erlebt in Sri Lanka. Sehr unschön und hat für den restlichen Aufenthalt kein gutes Gefühl hinterlassen.
