Reviewed Sep 17, 2025The host stayed late for our check in at 9. She spoke good English and was very helpful. Breakfast was standard and early. The rooms were clean, warm and nice. All slightly 1970s but the hotel had a nice vibe for early September.

Good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant/bar (slightly limited menu). Great location, next to the best mountain passes, even a sauna, but it's not a late night party area.
All good, but the single bed was a little hard.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025Hotel très complet et bien situé à Oberwald pour faire du sport, p.e. du ciclisme vû l'accès direct au Grimselpass et au Furkapass. Personel impécable. Chambre agréable et complète. Restaurant très convénient et disponible. Possibilité de garder les cicles au garage et parking dérrière l'hotel.
S'il faut le dire, mon horaire de petit-déjeuner et le bon goût des hôtes précédents pour du grand pain plus complet le faisait déjà manquant.

Ami extra szolgáltatásra nem számítottam, a motoromnak fedett, zárt parkolót biztosítottak az épület alagsorában, ahonnan lifttel lehet feljutni a szobákhoz. Nagyon ízletes kiadós vacsorát fogyasztottam. A személyzet kedves, udvarias, készséges. A szállás nagyon tiszta, igényes. Ajánlom mindenkinek.

die Bezeichnung Wellnessbereich ist nicht gerechtfertigt für einen Raum mit Sauna. Auf Booking hiess es, dass das Restaurant geöffnet sei bei unserem Aufenthalt, dies war leider nicht so. Dieses Detail sollte aktualisiert werden.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025Goed hotel. Lekker ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Er is gratis een parkeergarage voor een 5-tal motorfietsen Vlakbij de Grimsel en Furka pass.
De kamer in authentieke stijl en is proper maar vond de prijs wat hoog voor deze kamer in vergelijking met andere hotels die we hebben bezocht in Zwitserland. Er is bijvoorbeeld geen airco alsook geen frigo/minibar.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025Alles sehr gut. Sauberes Zimmer. Die Zimmer im Stil eines Berghauses. Alles Holz , aber in Ordnung. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Es gab einen Service der meine Wäsche gewaschen hat. Fürs Motorrad wurde, ohne zu fragen , direkt die Garage angeboten. Ein schöner Aufenthalt.
Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

(Risotto mit Crevetten) Das Morgenbuffett erfüllte auch alle meine Wünsche. Man merkt es herrscht eine gute Atmosphäre und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder😄👍

Ik zat volgens mij in het oude gedeelte, maar ondanks dat zag alles er netjes en volgens mij net opgeknapt uit, maar wel in traditionele stijl met veel hout. Ik was er maar 1 nacht, maar de omgeving is ook prachtig om erop uit te trekken.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025Ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit guter Ausstattung. Sehr sauber und sehr bequemes Bett. Im Hinterhof hat es reichlich Parkplätze. Auf Wunsch gibt es auch eine Sauna. Das Frühstück ist gut sortiert und es fehlt an nichts. Klar Empfehlung von mir, hier mal vorbei zu schauen, wenn man ins Wallis reist.
Die Dachschräge im Einzelzimmer ist etwas tief, man muss am Fenster und Bettende aufpassen, dass man sich (wenn über 1,80m groß) nicht aus Versehen den Kopf stößt.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025Eine besondere außergewöhnliche Situation.Habe gedacht, dass mir meine Geldbörse abhanden gekommen wäre.Der Pächter des Hotels wollte mir, nachdem er das bemerkt hatte, die Rechnung zur Überweisung mitgeben und zusätzlich das Geld fürs Tanken vorschiessen. Abgesehen davon, dass ich die Hotelleistungen und die Preisgestaltung sehr lobenswert empfand, ist mir die noble Haltung des Pächters sehr bewusst geworden. Die Geldbörse ist wieder aufgetaucht.
Soll so bleiben wie es ist.Danke

Camera tutta in legno stile “montagna” molto bella ma si sentono tutti i rumori dai vicini. Il bagno era piccolino.

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025Se trata de un hotel enfocado a los deportes de nieve y/o senderismo, pero en verano tiene poco movimiento, como el propio pueblo, que es muy tranquilo. El hotel está bien en conjunto, agradable, tranquilo, el paisaje es muy bonito, pero el pueblo tiene pocos servicios. La habitación, forrada de madera, muy acogedora y la cama cómoda, mejorables las almohadas. El baño pequeño y la ducha, más aún.
No nos avisaron hasta que llegamos, que la noche que dormíamos allí no había servicio de cafetería ni restaurante y el pueblo tiene muy poca oferta.
