Staff were all friendly.

Not clean, not maintained, showers were not hot even after a technician came the next morning it was not working, there was animal feces next to the pool which was really disgusting.

I had a great dining experience. MJ and Rimanuel were both very accommodating and friendly. Their excellent customer service and positive attitude truly enhanced our experience. Keep up the great work!

The staff are approachable especially sir Lenzer and sir Jerome for accommodating our needs.

Værelset var stort og rent. Sengene var gode. Hotellets café var virkelig god! Tiny Wave serverede også god mad.

Udendørspoolen var ikke klar, da vi ankom til hotellet. De havde en pool under overdækning som var klar, men den var kold og området omkring var beskidt. De lovede, da vi ankom, at udendørspoolen var klar i morgen. Det var den ikke, men i morgen ville den være det. Det var først, da jeg sagde at vi ønskede at tjekke ud før, hvis poolen ikke var klar, så blev den pludselig klar. Vi valgte ikke at spise den morgenbuffet, vi havde tilkøbt, da vi havde problemer med maverne, da vi ankom og meget af maden stod uopvarmet og det virkede ikke som om de fyldte op. Vi turde ikke tage chancen med vores helbred ved at spise dernede, så vi spiste dejlig og varm mad på caféen. Desværre sluttede opholdet ikke positivt. Vi havde bedt om at de sørgede for transport fra hotellet til Abra, men da bilen kom, kunne vores kufferter ikke engang være der. De ville have at et barn skulle sidde med krydsede ben i over en time til 4500 pisos. Det gjorde mig rasende! Det kan godt være at børns sikkerhed ikke er højt prioriteret på Philippinerne, men det er det i Nordeuropa. De “troede” at vi havde små kufferter, men deres personale gjorde rent på vores værelse hver eneste dag og så størrelsen på vores kufferter. Heldigvis var chaufføren var sød og venlig, så han fik gjort stemningen god igen.

I had a fantastic stay at Santiago Cove! While the beachfront location and comfortable rooms were lovely, it was the staff who made the experience truly special. The service quality was flawless. Every staff was polite, attentive and always ready to help with a positive attitude. Shout out to Sirs Rio, Jeff, and Lemuel for making my stay a home away from home. Highly recommended!!

We stayed for 4-day for a seminar-workshop activity in the Big Mahala function hall. Big thanks for the helpful team who accommodated us, Sir Rio, Sir Jeff, Sir Lemuel and the whole banquet team thank you so much! The event was this successful because of their help especially behind the scenes. From adjusting to the time, demands, and other favors, they are always available. I stayed for a night at Santiago Cove with my family and I have to say that we had a great time. Impeccable hospitality and service. In the morning really good buffet breakfast. The shena receptionist was very nice and helpful to everything. I hope to go back next year.

Have only been here 2 days and the staff has been monumental in setting us up (8) last minute and ensuring all of our needs have been taken care of. To only make things better Khrystal, Wendy, and Von at the front desk instantly provided us an additional room for our inbound family within minutes of their arrival which has only made our stay even better. Santiago Cove Hotel offers a beachfront location with friendly staff, making it a decent option for a countryside escape though it falls short of true 3-star standards. During our 5-night stay, I found both notable strengths and areas needing attention. The Good: The staff throughout including front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping were exceptionally warm, respectful, and accommodating. Our air-conditioned room was clean with a pleasant balcony view, and the restaurant offered a reasonable variety of Filipino and Western dishes. The property includes amenities like a pool and outdoor patio/bar area for breakfast. The Disappointing: The beachfront, which should be the hotel's main attraction, is marred by unpleasant odors and visible dirt. The room lacked basic bathroom essentials (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap), and only bath towels. No hand towels were provided. More concerning are maintenance issues like caulking around shower tiles and the bathroom vanity appears dirty and neglected, and the white strips on the stairs leading to the restaurant are confusing and potentially hazardous. Putting a proper yellow caution markings would be much safer. Bottom Line: Santiago Cove works as an affordable, no-frills place to sleep in the provinces, and the hospitality is genuinely excellent. However, basic upgrades in cleanliness, bathroom amenities, and safety markings would justify a higher rating.

The property was clean and well situated on the Cove for beautiful views. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Especially Gonar Lorenzo who helped us.

I had a great holiday in Santiago Cove. My husband also enjoyed our 12 nights stay. Right in front of white sandy beach. There are some watersports. They have a pool bar that serves some nice foods and drinks.Mango shakes is a must which only cost around 1.30 pence. The breakfast can be served in the room for free or can be packed for take away. Or dine in the restaurant which is overlooking a nice view of the beach. They also have a burger stand few steps in front of the beach that serves softdrinks for50 pence, cheeseburger for £1.50 buy one get one free and flavoured chips for a pound. I prefer the cheese flavour. They also have a nice bakery that serves some brownie with wallnuts that taste divine. A single decent slice will only cost 80 pence. There is another restaurant near Santiago cove that is their sister company which serves a very nice foods. They serve a sharing pot of lechon sinigang which taste great which will serve 5 people. A proper Filipino soup. They also serve 3 big sticks of delicious pork barbecue which cost £3.50. Which is good for 3 people. There are also lots of street foods available that serve Filipino foods that costs less than a pound. Sam yupsal is also a must. You need to try it. It is very reasonably price. They served big portion of meat that you can eat as you grill. If you are not a big eater this will probably not suit you. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They always serve you with smile. Nothing is too much for them. They even accommodated my request to be moved on a different room as my gout and arthritis is playing up. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. Pain reluef is available for free during your stay. They even sent me a plate of fresh fruit in the room fir free when my husband is feeling a little bit under the weather. Overall, I achieved my purpose in bringing my husband to Ilocos sur and that is to convince him to stay in Ilocos when we retire. He also enjoyed the jet ski and kayak with my daughter. Everything it our go to place , when we need a break

cleaning staff, they are very hardworking and was able to find a room for my parents in the first floor who are seniors already.

staff in the reception area was not too pleasant and not too friendly. She should practice to more people person, more patience and focus on customer’s needs. She tries to point her own concerns which fully understood but then she should be more considerate when visitors ask some questions or request.

We stayed at Santiago Cove Hotel as 4 pax and truly enjoyed the calm, relaxing vibe of the place. The ocean view, soothing sound of the waves, and quiet surroundings made our stay feel like a real escape. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and accommodating throughout. Perfect for families or small groups looking to slow down and enjoy Ilocos at a relaxed pace. Would definitely stay here again.

Das Frühstück muss man am Tag vorher bestellen. Da wir zum Frühstück 15 Minuten zu spät waren, bekamen wir kalte Eier und nur eine Tasse Kaffee! Frühstückszeit: 6 - 7 / 7 - 8 etc.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel, with our family of 7. The hotel is composed of 2 complexes, one with a coffee bar/bakery/bistro, and the main complex with the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms. Since we had a small leakage in our bathroom, we were immediately transferred to another room. The rooms had sea view and were very spacious. Even though the inventory is not top modern anymore, we were satisfied with the rooms. In particular the AC was a positive surprise, since it was operating very quietly and effectively. We had coffee and pasta dishes in the coffee bar/bistro and were pleased with the quality. We also had a Korean style barbecue in the restaurant and were very satisfied. The same applied to the breakfast, once served as buffet and once á la carte. We were very satisfied with the variety and quality. It is notable that everybody we met in any of the hotel' facilities was very friendly and helpful. Room service was always around, accessible and very helpful. We also appreciated the permanent presence of at least one lifeguard at both pools, giving us a very safe and 'taken care of' feeling. The hotel is not a 5 star resort at the cote d'azur, but we found it was pretty nice for a family getaway and we were very satisfied. Especially the service minded and friendly staff was fantastic and made up for minor quality issues. Our kids had a lot of fun in the nice and safe pool areas, and the grownups had a relaxing time. So, all in all, for us this was a pretty nice stay and a recommendable hotel.

I recently stayed at Santiago Cove Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The level of service here is truly outstanding – everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.

Strike 1: On day one, we ate at Tiny Wave (their restaurant on site). As we waited for food, another table finished and left. I noticed the staff did not place new cloth mats for each setting— they reused them. I looked down at the cloth mat it front of me and it had food particles and stains on it. Strike 2: I reserved dinner for a large party days before our arrival — there were literally 2 staff members who helped us during dinner. The 2nd one helped a little. The others were standing around doing nothing but giggling to each other. The food started to arrive, and we had no plates and settings, and no one had come to take our drink orders. The wine came at the end of dinner after asking for it 5 times to different people. Service was terrible except for the one waiter who brought out most of the food. Strike 3: The next morning at breakfast, my family and I struggle to find a clean place to sit. There were dead flies on the benches and tables…. I noticed all the cloth placemats were gone — maybe they noticed me taking pictures the previous day. Strike 4: One of the rooms smelled strongly of mold, so we had to move to another available room (a bigger room) on the same floor (due to mobility issues) and no discount or apology was given. Another one of our rooms had a malfunctioning AC so my family had to move to another room. Strike 5: They ran out of pool towels and bath towels in the evening…… Strike 6: I ordered food for in room dining and the staff did not bring utensils — I had to ask for it. Strike 7: They don’t have real orange juice — it’s like some weird powder mix or something but it tastes so artificial. Strike 8: The toilet seat in our room was broken so it moved around so much and nearly kept falling off. The staff said it was “under maintenance” but they made no effort to fix it at that time, nor did they offer to move us to a different room. Strike 9: I called front desk to ask about massage availability. Front desk person said they would check with the therapist and get back to me to confirm availability. Nobody ever got back to me, and the therapist was at our door at 8am the next day — well, my guest had already checked out. If they had gotten back to me, I would have had my guest stay longer. Some pluses: The pool was very clear. Most of the staff were attentive and greeted us. The pool area looks really nice in the evenings and the pool closes at 10pm. The room AC is good (except for the broken one). Overall: Duterte, Singson, and the politicians would not send their families here. I wouldn’t come back here. The staff training is poor, their communication is poor, and everything is done to cut corners. The bathrooms were small and the guest amenity kit was minimal (toothbrush, toothpaste, a small packet of shampoo, and a small soap). The only thing nice about this place was the pool.

Suggestion: *food: provide menu that is related to the location (like sea foods) and the best menu of the province. -magsama din ng fruits sa menu for lunch kahit isang klase lng ng fruits *emergency purposes: must have mini pharmacy

Large rooms with two double beds and reasonable size bathroom with large walk in shower. Large pool with bar and eating area. Staff helpful and friendly particularly the reception, bar and life guards. Quite a few English channels on TV. Second undercover pool located on the 5th floor next door was quieter. Three restaurants to choose from. Five minute walk to main part of town. Beach easily accessible across the road downstairs.

No fridge in room. Many rooms’ windows face directly onto the wall/ escarpment. Large corporate team building event loudly dominated the pool area one afternoon and evening.

The staffs are the nicest but the service did not go well. When booking they are not replying asap on their phone number. Second was the housekeeping, they did not clean our room knowing that we booked 3 days and 2 nights. The pool towel smells like cigarette and it is awful!

Food is nice and delicious. Will visit here again but with friends. Thank you for the unlimited samgyup experience. One of my fave samgyupsal area around Ilocos Sur. The aesthetic vibes is soo good too. Gladly they have unique style of exterior and interior design.

I stayed at this hotel based on a relative's recommendation, and it was a great choice. The location is easy to find, even without a navigation app. The security guard was very helpful, and the hotel staff went above and beyond, even escorting us when we got lost and mistakenly tried to check in at the restaurant instead of the lobby. The check-in process was quick, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Since the hotel has only one floor, we took the stairs, and the room was spacious, clean, and had excellent water pressure. Overall, our stay was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff are courteous and accommodating. I love the view of the sea from the sky lounge and I love the beach front lounge area. The water is clear. I would like to try the water activities next time when we would stay longer. The breakfast buffet showcases Ilokano foods. Some I haven't tried. The vibe was relaxed and chill. We will definitely go back again.

Hotel's just a few feet away from the beach which was cleaner compared to the ones next to it. The highlights of our stay though, was the amazing breakfast buffet and the lovely, friendly, helpful staff.. Specisl mention to Rhea, Cj, Arlene and the rest of the staff whose names slipped my memory. Gals and guys, you are all superstars!

We’ve stayed at Santiago Cove Hotel twice now, and each visit has been fantastic! There’s plenty of parking, and the beach is just a few steps away. The hotel is close to restaurants and cafés and only minutes from all the local tourist spots. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, the pools are pristine, and the breakfast buffet is simply amazing. Also don't forget to check Rodrigo's restaurant, BGVL cafe, & Rubra Skylounge for more food options! Will definitely be going back to try the watersports activities.

Excellent customer service from the whole staff (Jamyka, Arlene, and Jenny). Very accommodating and truly we're the best in providing drivers, giving us whatever we needed, helping us with our bags, and bringing us food/drinks. I would recommend!

I love how welcoming the staffs of the hotel are. Tho, we only stayed for 3 days but we had the best experience because we had chosen the best venue for our MYSAC. We hade the best view from our room. The foods? 10/10. Not to forget how animal- friendly the hotel is 👏. I'll recommend this to be the venue of our future activities.

The managers/staffs are very accommodating and they always give us a warm welcome to the group. When we coordinate with them they always offered us complementary drinks. The food that they served is all delicious and approved to our participants. That's why we keep on coming back here for our event not just for our province but also Region Wide and DENR central office. Specially Ma'am Rona and Sir Jayson.
