Haven Beach Hiri - Hiriketiya

The proximity to the beach, but it was also very clean, tidy and the room was huge! We had a garden view but that didn’t make any difference to us. Everyone was super helpful, always smiling. We would definitely come back. The nearest restaurant (Muthu Bar) is literally a hop, skip and a jump and it serves the BEST food! The staff there are superb and you get a wonderful view of the Bay.

Großes Familienzimmer mit Stockbett und getrenntem Bett. Sehr stylische, tropische Architektur. Sehr sauber. Schöner Balkon, 2 Minuten zum Strand zu Fuß. Super Frühstück in einem sehr schönes, stylischen „Partner Hotel“ 4 Minuten die Straße hoch. Wir waren Anfang September fast die einzigen Gäste. Alle wahnsinnig freundlich

The breakfast was delicious but not on location - we needed to walk up the hill.

De kamers waren erg schoon en netjes ingericht. Ze zijn ook erg behulpzaam bij de receptie en hebben meegedacht met een planning maken en hebben ook een tuktuk voor ons geregeld.

Het ontbijt was op een andere plek dan het hotel en het was een steile stuk naar boven lopen en dat vonden wij minder fijn op de vroege ochtend.

Location

View is hampered by a structure. There is an awfully kept house right in the middle of the property making the property look cheap and unprofessional. You have to go to another location for breakfast.

view was great, bathrooms are nice and everything was pretty good. Balcony and outside view was amazing.

the shower could have had more pressure, and heater to desired temperature quicker but it was fine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Haven Beach. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach, and our room was lovely with a beautiful view overlooking the beach. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was served at their sister hotel at the top of the hill, just a 2-minute walk away. Overall, we had a lovely stay at Haven Beach and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay close to the beach.

Está muy bien ubicado, a un paso de la playa. La habitación es muy cómoda, limpia y con vistas a la playa. El desayuno es en el restaurante de otro hotel a unos 50m.

Los monos, que están por toda la isla, suelen quedarse en el pequeño balcón, por lo que no pudimos disfrutarlo.

The location is amazing! Couldn’t be better, only a 1 minute walk to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen!

The hotel is above a restaurant that has music playing until around 11pm - this didn’t bother me at all. However the person I was travelling with is a very light sleeper and found it difficult to sleep until the music turned off at night.

We stayed in the family room and it was so spacious and so close to the beach and our kids loved the bunk beds. Staff were awesome and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

TODO! El personal un encanto, nada más llegar nos ofrecieron un coconut king. Las vistas un espectáculo, la ubicación inmejorable. El desayuno, el mejor de Sri Lanka. Todo ha sido de ensueño. Muy recomendable!!

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The view was absolutely excellent waking up and falling asleep to the beautiful beach scenery was truly special. The staff were incredibly helpful, always smiling, and very courteous throughout our stay. A special mention to Ishan, who went above and beyond to assist us and made sure we were comfortable at all times. He was a fantastic host and really made a difference in our experience. If we ever visit again, we will definitely choose to stay here. Highly recommended!

Das ist eine eher einfache Unterkunft. Aber wunderschön, auch das Zimmer. Wir hatten unser Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Blick auf die Bucht. Sensationell! Das ist eher eine Backpacker Unterkunft, aber wirklich reizvoll.

Wifi only worked for one day and my allowance (10GB) expired for the remainder of my stay Ceiling fan not useable as way too loud- thought it was going to fall out of ceiling

The beachfront view is stunning, the only hotel in Hiriketiya with a beachfront view of the horseshoe bay. My husband and I, were able to sit on the balcony all day and take frequent dips in the ocean as and when we needed, with the accommodation being only steps away from the swimmer friendly section of the beach. The hotel is run by a lovely family, who are welcoming happy and always able to assist with any questions that my husband and I had. The breakfast offering was also fantastic. Whilst at a neighboring property, the walk was no longer than the distance you would walk in a typical resort hotel to get to the pool/dining area.

Nothing - please disregard all bad reviews. I was a bit hesitant staying here after reading some less than satisfactory reviews but we were pleasantly surprised.

The family room, is fantastic for a couple or even a family/friends. There is a view of the beach from the room in between two buildings. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The owners of the hotel are cheerful and helpful to my husband and I

The air con kept cutting out and the WiFi ran out a day too soon for one of us. Aside from that it was a great spot.

Sijainti on loistava rannan vieressä. Perhehuone oli hyvän kokoinen ja erittäin siisti. Ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä.

Close to everything

Noisy area. Windows without curtains. Hotel itself noisy by workers. Basic. Design not like in the pictures, worse. I requested in advance to do early checking as we travel with a baby and they said yes and then made us wait 3h to check in.

Der Abfluss im Badezimmer hat sehr unangenehm gerochen. Der Weg zum Nachbarhotel, wo es das Frühstück gibt, ist relativ steil. Der Strand ist klein und sehr belebt, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

- Exceptional location, we could not believe how close it was to the beach! Nothing nicer than opening the curtains in the morning and seeing that gorgeous sea view. Everything is literally a 30 second walk away, perfect! - The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming to us, the chilled king coconuts upon arrival were just what we needed. - The room is so chic and modern with a really comfy bed! We couldn’t believe how much space we had! - There was the sweetest cat that slept near to the hotel steps entrance at night, if you are staying, please can you put some water down in a wee dish for the wee soul?

Incredible location, you are able to get from door to beach in less than 30 seconds. So many great cafes and restaurants within walking distance too. The room is modern, and was very large. Staff were welcoming, giving a cool coconut on arrival! We wished we could stay longer here, we absolutely loved it.

The location was great, on the seafront & staff were wonderful.

Because it’s on the seafront it can be a little noisy however it didn’t stop us getting to sleep. If anything the loudest thing was when the water was being used Very loud pipes which did actually wake us up early in the mornings. It’s a sister accommodation to their main accommodation which was up a steep short hill, we had to go up there for breakfast and if we wanted to use the pool.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 1 Etage mit Blick auf die Bucht!!! Es war einfach ganz toll!! Alles andere war auch sehr in Ordnung.

Rooms were new and in a great location, had to go to sister hotel for breakfast which was slightly a pain but the breakfast was amazing so worth it

Wonderful accommodation, very nice and spacious family room. Extremely clean. They also asked if we wanted the room to be cleaned. It doesn't have its own social area, but the main beach is a few meters away, so it's not a bother. Breakfast was at the sister hotel a few meters up the hill and was the best breakfast of the trip. Very pleasant staff and space. We definitely recommend this accommodation, it has everything you need.

Nice rooms and bathroom plus a great terrace over looking the busy beach. Nice to use the sister hotel up the hill for a quiet swim in their pool. Good access to Dickwalla beach which is a lovely calm Swim..

Terrific location right at the end of Hiriketiya beach, which made visiting the beach for swims much more enjoyable as there are few places to sit on Hiriketiya. Light sleepers may be annoyed by the loud music from the restaurants below and nearby (not same property), but it didn't impact us too much.

Breakfast was up the hill, and delicious Sri Lankan dishes, plus fruit bread and cereals, but relatively limited in terms of choice. Would have loved an extra dish or two but it's a relatively small complaint.

Die Unterkunft lag am Buchtende was sehr angenehm war, tagsüber ist die kleine Bucht völlig überfüllt wie in Rimini.

- Frühstück in anderer Location grundsätzlich kein Problem, für den Preis aber sehr, sehr basic, Cappucino und Co. müssen zusätzlich bezahlt werden. - Wasserflaschen im Zimmer auffüllen 1x pro Tag wäre schön gewesen - Limitierte Wifi-Vouchers

We had a fantastic stay - the room was lovely with an amazing view over the bay. Ishan was very helpful and welcoming, arranging a driver to pick us up from our previous accommodation in Tangalle with a fresh coconut on arrival. Really wished we could have stayed longer.

The property was in a stunning location within a minutes walk from the Hiriketiya Bay. The staff were excellent and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Will visit once again.
