De locatie
Twin room had toch 2 bedden aan elkaar. Vanaf parkeerplaats door rokersruimte naar binnen. Kraan in badkamer stond verkeerd afgesteld wat een waterballet tot gevolg had.
The breakfast was not nice
I didn't like the breakfast
Terrific breakfast, and a lovely dining room. We were more than pleased with the Listowel Arms. It was a beautiful hotel, especially for the price. The staff was more than accommodating, very friendly, helpful, & attended to all of our needs. We were a large group and everyone was similarly impressed. We will be staying here again.
I doubt I could think of a thing that would make our stay better.
Breakfast was lovely. Location and view from restaurant, stunning.
Very elegant hotel, very old feel about it, but also modern, Accepted a very late booking
Its location, friendly staff & great vibe all day around the hotel
Location
No air conditioning in room. Breakfast not good. Hot food was cold
The staff were brilliant.
all fine
Clean and nice breakfast
Due to a family matter we had to leave earlier. While I understand paying in full would be required there was no offer to remove the breakfast charges for 2 days. Would have been nice as we did not consume any food to charge for.
Bed was very comfortable First was good
Car park lane is narrow
Great stay. Lovely rooms.
Town centre
No after bar
I have stayed there a few times it’s clean the staff was excellent The breakfast was excellent. Absolutely excellent scenery was good. The sun was excellent.
There was nothing I didn’t like about this property
Lovely staff, great location, clean and comfortable. Classic country hotel. Lovely view of the river from the restaurant terrace. Beautiful art work and nice communal spaces.
Food was overall fine, but a bit hit and miss.
room was tired, very clean but tired. Also the bed was 2 x single beds which were not comfortable
Food was very tasty and reasonable
Location and dining
Staff was very friendly. The food was good and it was a really nice place to stay.
Great breakfast, freshly cooked to order.
Excellent food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location
Coffee and tea poor. No biscuits in bedroom. No pastries at breakfast. Not shampoo & conditioner in bathroom
Lovely character building, very busy bar / restaurant.
Lovely character building, very attentive. Waitress, found me table after I sat at the bar with a drink for five minutes.
Very well maintained historic hotel in the heart of Listowel. Enjoyed dinner in the bar room and breakfast. I suggest booking a larger room to enjoy the high ceilings and views.
Very nice hotel room was Lovly
Restaurant menu didn’t have a great choice and wasn’t open late
Would give more stars 🌟 if possible.. Absolutely amazing 👏 🤩 we had the best experience. Brian upgraded our room to a king suite free of charge to our surprise 😮 this made our day!! Amy, on reception, was a doll she couldn't have been any nicer. We were welcomed greeted by the biggest smile and great manners. The next morning, a beautiful lady called Annie, served us with such elegance and positivity. We will be 100% back again and really enjoyed every moment from the staff to decor!! We have stayed in a lot of hotels and this by far has been the best. Thanks a million, guys!!!! 😃 😊

Месторасположение прямо в центре, старинный стиль, персонал помогал решать мелкие вопросы
В номере шумел вентилятор, спать было не невозможно но менеджер сменила номер бесплатно
Lovely hotel with friendly staff
Overpriced
This is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location in Listowel.. it was my first time staying and it wont be my last.
Location is good - town centre. Paid street parking available.
Our twin room was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, which in itself would not have been an issue, but it was beyond stuffy when we entered the room - windows were shut and no ventilation. It was borderline smelly - had to leave window open at all times. Dated carpet with staining. Throw cushions that looked grubby, up against the pillows on the bed. Net curtain on a window that overlooked what could only be described as derelict waste-ground area at back of the hotel (a strimmer and a bucket of paint would do a lot if they made the effort). Locking room when leaving not that straight-forward (old key on large keyring type system). Lift was musty, as was entrance lobby of the hotel itself. Staircase need cleaning, as do windows in breakfast room. Salt/pepper grinders on table at breakfast were dirty/greasy when handling. Breakfast room waitress was very friendly, as were reception staff. But bar staff were not as good - dirty glass, no basic please or thank you - didn't tell me how much my drinks order cost, just thrust the card machine in my direction and walked away as soon as I'd tapped card, with no offer of a receipt. We had been in the bar earlier that evening to consider ordering food & stood by the bar reading a menu, but no-one approached us to ask if we were ok or wanted to order, so we left and went elsewhere to eat. Overall, it was not a good stay and we won't be staying there again. Also, at €240 for a twin room B&B (even on a Friday night in April) it was way too expensive, especially for what we actually experienced.
Very friendly staff.
Nothing.
The hotel itself has beautiful character. The staff so friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful.
We would have liked a second chair in our room.
Receptionist Maggie or Mags?was most helpful.
The scrambled eggs
I appreciated the classic aesthetic of the hotel. It was both beautiful and charming.
I was unable to establish an internet connection in my assigned room; however, the staff graciously provided an alternative room with reliable internet access.
Lovely Hotel
The room was warm and I'm always cold, nice comfy warm rooms Friendly staff and accommodating
The food in the bistro was very poor good at lunch time bad in the evening
The breakfast was superb. Beautifully located as you view the lovely river from you're table. Homemade Soda Bread and hot plates are very important to a great breakfast.. The waitress that served me was equally so lovely with a healthy interest that I was enjoying the experience. A great way to start the day . I stay away with work quite a bit and this breakfast experience was a 10 out 10.. Very very rare indeed
Leaving the breakfast experience aside.. On checking in the receptionist did not afford me much eye contact and whilst the checking in wasn't busy .. I waited at least 5 mins as she continued to talk to a chef as I stood in close visibility to her. The evening meal menu looked great and tasted even better.. However the evening staff were not near as attentive as I waited 5 mins waiting to receive the menu and another 5 mins before a member of the team took my order. The restaurant was particularly quite at that time
Classic, traditional, charming
Parts of it are a bit dated but sort of adds to the character
Everything
Perfect location. Staff very friendly & professional
Old world ambiance
Absolutely first Class.
Nothing
Breakfast, staff, bed, decor
Shower drain was clogged. I forgot to tell them at the dest. I run an airbnb and that's something i find i have to stay on top on. Little bit of the draino liquid stuff. even if i'm not sure if it's clogged.
Fantastic location
Nothing
Lovely atmospheric hotel. Nice helpful staff
Location, ambience staff and food
The bar was poorly stocked. No single malt. The fire was decidedly dull. Could do with some wood and more draught
The staff is lovely.
Dreadful room. I was FROZEN with cold. Barely any heat or hot water. I slept in my travel clothes Almost non existent toiletries The room needed a paint freshening but that pales in comparison to the COLD. All effort is expended on the public/dining areas and if my room is any indication the accomodation for hotel guests is sub par.
Lovely typical Irish country town hotel. Loved that they had a few vegan options as part of the regular menu (and the food was excellent, as was the Guinness) in the bar/bistro and had vegan options for breakfast without me having to look for special treatment.
Nothing really. They didn’t get full marks for price, but where in Ireland does any hotel stay feel like value?
The location was excellent and the staff was kind and thoughtful
Gorgeous hotel and staff
Lovely small hotel
Lovely hotel and such great staff. Really comfortable stay. parking at the back which is great.. Lovely staff at reception and manager and breakfast staff. The lady that cleans the room was lovely. Great breakfast. Really nice food at lunch time. Location is great to be able to walk around the town. A visit to the garden centre was great. Nice plants and items to be purchased. Has a nice cafe there. Such a central place if you are visiting Kerry. Lovely views. Loved the decoration. The open fire was lovely to sit by.
Nil. All was great and will visit again.
Good central location. The place has history. Magnificent rooms, large bathrooms.
My bed was harder than I prefer.
Location
Freezing room
The view from the room there was none only another building
The room I had was fantastic clean sheets clean bedroom every day clean towels every day tea coffee water every day breakfast was gorgeous. The staff was brilliant. They couldn’t do enough for you
It was a pleasure to stay in the hotel I will book again
Breakfast poor - very small kipper portion!
Locations great, hotel is lovely, lovely breakfast. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Especially Jess on the front desk. Looking forward to my return.
It was just different from most hotels
Good menu to choose from plus really prompt & very friendly service. Also really comfy bed.
Had requested a quiet room on booking but was placed in room next to the lift & heard the movement up & down each time it was used! Could do with better selection of fresh fruit & fresh coffee at breakfast.
Location, great breakfast, good value
Temperature in bar and room was cold
- originally I got a room close to the lift, but it was not possible to rest in this room du to noise from the lift. I got another room when asking reception to change. But it is not fair to guests to rent the room besides the lift.
L'emplacement
