Excellent location. Good breakfast. Beautiful view from the room. Easy parking.

The restaurant was quite busy. Since the staff served both the restaurant and the hotel, they were sometimes less attentive to hotel guests.

This boutique hotel has a truly stunning position on the lake. Our room was beautiful, with glorious views and was spacious. The dining area was wonderfully cozy with a fire going during the day. We loved everything about the hotel.

It is in a fantastic location, and our room overlooked the lake and mountain. That was beautiful.

For the price of the hotel, it was underwhelming in many small ways. We had no kettle in our room, but only a coffee maker with no milk. There was no minibar. The bath towels were small and thin. The only choice at breakfast was what kind of eggs to have. The other breakfast choices were limited (to non existent for my coeliac wife). The staff were curt. The standard and choice of food at the very expensive restaurant was decidedly average - like a pub meal in the UK for three times the price. In short, this is a hotel that trades entirely on its location. That was fantastic, but the rest not so much.

Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück Sehr guter Kaffee Frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen, konnte man bestellen, sehr gut Herrliche Lage am See in Küssnacht. Kurze Wege nach Luzern. Unter der Rigi und nah an dessen Bergbahnen.

Wegen Festivität vor dem Hotel am Ankunftstag kaum Parkmöglichkeit. Hätten man evtl. vor Anreise kommunizieren können. Für laute Musik kann das Hotel nichts.

Prachtige ligging aan het meer en het allervriendelijkste personeel op onze vakantiereis tot nu toe. Geloof mij als ik zeg dat het tegenwoordig een uitzondering is die gevierd mag worden. Prachtig nieuw gerenoveerde kamers in een luchtige design stijl.

De douche is spekglad. Ik gleed bijna uit, mijn vrouw gleed wel uit. Gelukkig zonder letsel, maar dat kan zomaar wel het geval zijn bij een andere gast. Dus: pas op. De hoofdkussens van het bed werken alleen dubbelgevouwen. Anders zijn ze belachelijk zacht.

Kein direkter See Zugang

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt anfangs September in diesem Haus ausserordentlich genossen. Wiederholt begegneten wir herzvoll-gastfreundlichen Mitarbeitenden. Das Zimmer war hindernisfrei eingerichtet und erfüllt diese Ansprüche tadellos. Das Frühstücksbuffet beinhaltete ansprechend angerichtete frische Speisen - alle erdenklichen Eierspeisen dürfen nach eigenen Vorlieben ergänzend bestellt werden. Die unterschiedlichen Gasträume sind ansprechend und bequem eingerichtet. Ein richtiger Wohlfühlort, dessen Garten bei schönem Wetter zusätzlich zum Verweilen einlädt.

Es schien uns, dass ein gewisser Fachkräftemangel für die verbleibenden Servicemitarbeitenden sehr herausfordernd sei. Diese waren teilweise nicht so gastfreundlich zugewandt, wie wir dies erwartet haben. Kleine Motivationsimpulse und die Föderung eines gelingenden Miteinanders wäre vielleicht hilfreich - Arbeitszeit ist Lebenszeit 😉 Bei der Zimmerausstattung fehlte uns 'Stauraum' - man kommt nicht darum herum, einwenig 'aus dem Koffer' zu leben. Dies ist im hindernisfrei zugänglichen Zimmer die einzige Unzulänglichkeit.

Wonderful location on the water, in the charming old town. Room was wonderful (clean and comfortable) with views of the lake. Short walk to the train with connections luzurn and Zurich.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am See und der Schiffsanleger „ direkt vor dem Hotel“!! Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den See, abends wunderbar!!

Alles war sehr gut.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, ein kleines aber sehr feines Angebot. Zimmer war gross mit Blick auf See. Wir konnten auf Nachfrage unsere Velos an sicherem Platz unterstellen. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Badausstattung sehr speziell, Abfalleimer an Wand direkt unter den Handtüchern- Hygiene! Nach Dusche war ganzes WC nass… Älteres Mobiliar. Ein paar Kornflocken hätten es zum Zmorge noch sein können.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am See, herrliche Aussicht auf den See und den Pilatus und angrenzende Berge. Sehr schöner Aussenbereich am See. Zimmer neu und sehr schön gestaltet.

Frühstücksbüffet: Keine saisonalen Früchte (es war August - da gibt es genügend lokale einheimische Früchte zur Auswahl), Haferflocken und andere Flocken fehlen (stattdessen Cornflakes und übermässig süsse Frühstückscerealien.

Tolle Lage!

AVOID WASTING YOUR MONEY BY BOOKING THIS HOTEL! Here are my reasons: 1. This hotel is located right in front of a church, and the bells ring every 15 minutes throughout the day. The rooms lack proper soundproofing, so the noise can easily disturb your sleep. 2. I booked one of the more expensive rooms, yet it was missing basic facilities such as a fridge or a fan. It was a hot day, and I couldn’t sleep because of the heat. 3. There were no hot vegetarian options available at breakfast. 4. I found the staff somewhat rude and unwelcoming, although that may just be my personal experience.

Wunderschöner Platz

Büffet am Morgen mehrmals mussten wir Personal aufmerksam machen, fehlende Teller, Orangensaft leer, Fruchrsalat leer. Keine Gipfeli mehr vorhanden.

Die Lage ist perfekt , gute Atmosphäre, toller Biergarten

Dieses Hotel hat eine Top Lage direkt am See mit großem Biergarten. Die Zimmer sind modern , sauber und großzügig ausgestattet. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Im Biergarten muss man etwas Zeit mitbringen bis man bedient wird. Nicht genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze für Hotelgäste vorhanden.

All rooms have no air conditioning, it's extremely hot in the room which makes it very hard to sleep.

The breakfast needs complete change , it’s fairly basic . They should include more variety and make it more presentable. Currently it’s a setup on smalls corner.

Nice location and very good view from the restaurant. The room is clean and comfortable . Nice breakfast. We enjoy our walk along the lakeshore after dinner.

Will be great if the balcony is a bit bigger and with chairs to sit in the morning.

Everything! Such a nice helpful friendly team and the location is perfect for so many things loved this hotel! It’s also got some history and it shows…in a good way one of the nice things was the ‘honesty bar’ where (amongst other things) you can fill up your water bottle with ice & water-perfect 👌🏻 Lovely plentiful breakfast and it has a nice little outdoor pool where the grass is full of pollinating insects minding their own business! Towels available. Definitely recommended

Nothing at all

Very nice stay and a very big and comfy room, you can take the ferry right outside the front of the hotel to Luzern and the town is nice, this was a very nice experience! There was a lot of flies in the dining room and the staff didn‘t do anything against it, some staff was very nice but the receptionist was not the most welcoming. Would book again when visiting Luzern:))

Location is great, the rooms are very well appointed, nice work.

The restaurant, much flies, I asked and they said that they can’t do anything about the flies, which is absurd, really disturbing. We were inside due to rain, I’m sure if outside the flies problem wouldn’t be there.

Pillows and the mattress are too soft.

The property is beautiful, next to the lake Luzern, very picturesque! The hotel is bleak and very well organized. The staff are amazing, great service, amazing variety breakfast with fresh eggs directly from kitchen.

None I would like to stay more time !

Exceptional location, directly at the lake. Terrace, excellent for a relaxing meal or drink. ( The weather was fantastic for the days I was there. 28*c ,sunny.) Room, especially the shower. Walkable for the train station. The staff were all very friendly. Lunch menus.

Room wasn't ready until 16.00. Exchange rate meant it was expensive (but not the hotel's fault..most things in Switzerland seem expensive)

The breakfast was disappointing with a limited choice.

The choices at breakfast could be a lot better and the staff could/should be more friendly. My partner also slipped over in the shower. The shower floor sloped down and got very slippery. Luckily my partner didn’t do herself any real damage but was sore for a few days afterwards.,

We were there to do some bike tours but the hotel did not have a secure place we could keep our bikes so we had to store our bikes inside our car for the night which was not optimal. I am sure they could have found a locked room to store or allowed us to keep them in our rooms. the other thing we didn't like was that every night there were people just outside the hotel partying. The first night this went on till 4 in the morning.

The hotel was really beautiful and comfortable, and the location was perfect—right by the lake, which made the stay even more special. The staff were friendly and professional. It was an excellent experience overall, and I’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Minor - towels could of been bigger (bath towels)

If you're open to a brief journey from Luzern to Küssnacht (14 KM/20 min) by train, car, or even boat, this is an ideal place to stay in the region. It is more affordable than hotels in Luzern, even when factoring in the cost of train tickets for local travel, and the scenery is stunning. One side offers a view of Lake Lucerne with Mt Pilatus in the distance, while the other side features Mt Rigi. The hotel is luxurious and well-maintained. The breakfast and restaurant, especially the wine selection, were excellent. We had a wonderful stay.

There isn't much to say. Perhaps it's worth noting that the hotel did not have a staffed reception desk, in the classic way, but employees were always present and offered assistance.

A bit shabby. Breakfast was awful.

The rooms are very spacious and the lake view extraordinary beautiful. The beds are comfortable with king bed and blanket. The staff was accommodating and the restaurant offers excellent food.

The hotel was really pretty, with nice location close to the bus stop and just next to the lake. The building the beautiful inside & out. You can watch the lake during breakfast. The breakfast had a good variety and quality. The room was also spotless clean and very stylish, with great view on the lake and the mountains. Comfy beds.

Pillows were far too soft.

The excellent breakfast was buffet style plus egg dishes, cooked to order. The staff were cheerful,and helpful. The location is central for the bus and ferry, when running, with excellent views to the lake and mountains.

The only criticism would be the quality and size of the towels, particularly the bath towels.

Wonderful location, clean anf big room.

Breakfast at 7 did not work out.

The location was about 10 - 15 walking minutes from the train station, my room was small and you had to watch for the wooden ceiling beams, so if you are tall, ask for a room without ceiling beams. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice, and the restaurant is great.

Absolutely stunning and a wonderfully designed room with lake view

Gorgeous Property right on the water and in the cutest village. Great location right outside of Lucerne. Would definitely stay here again. The staff was fabulous too.

Honestly hard to find anything I didn't like, so I guess not having a fan or AC in room it did get a little warm while sleeping.

It’s a beautiful property, right on Lake Lucerne, in the quaint village of Küssnacht am Rigi. The views are breathtaking and the hotel is lovely. The staff were very courteous and accommodating in every way possible. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and well presented with a good assortment of choices and made-to-order eggs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Sometimes tricky to get a table in garden restaurant as many non guests also visit and priority not given to hotel guests. Was a minor issue

The location is exceptional - Hotel parking Spaces are limited but they are free of charge - rooms are nicely designed. Very spacious Bathroom and for more Comfort there are Coffee/Tee maker in the rooms.

The standard pillows are very soft and i saw quite late that we can ask at the reception for another type of Pillow. Breakfast Buffet is good but not really at 4Star level. Although maybe it is normal in Switzerland.

Overall it was good.

We had early breakfast (7 am) and only some bits of the buffet were out. The staff was not really friendly, we did not felt welcome at the breakfast.

It was a magnificent stay, the room was a nice size, loved the bathroom. Breakfast every morning was delicious we also had dinner in the garden one night and the food and the atmosphere was great. Right on the lake just beautiful. Close to everything. Highly recommend

Heavenly hotel on the lakeside. We had our breakfast right on the lake and it was beautiful. The staff is friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. Would go again.

It would have been great to get some air conditioning in the room as it was a little too warm at night.

1. Perfect location. Just at the lake. The ferry to lucerne is just in front of the hotel and in the other direction in a few steps away there are the beautiful church, several restaurants and shops, etc. The hotel itself has a nice restaurant with garden at the lake. Better reserve the seats in advance. 2. Friendly staffs and the hotel is very well maintained.

Astonishing location, nice view over the lake to the Riggi and Pilatus, nice rooms and great breakfast.

Sometimes very noisy, especially when you have a suite and there’s a party in the restaurant below. Otherwise we had ants in our room. Parking Situation is tricky, only room for 6 cars reserved for hotel guests, sometimes even the public parking lot was full.
