Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Heel mooie locatie in het centrum van Poperinge, gratis parkeren vlakbij het hotel. Lekker ontbeten en gedineerd in aangenaam kader. Een verblijf van 2 nachten om de buurt te verkennen is een aanrader, want je zit vlakbij Frans Vlaanderen, Diksmuide, Veurne en de kust. Heel mooie en ruime kamer die heel netjes was. Alles was top !

de fietsenstalling is wel erg krap(er waren wel redelijk wat fietsers en de stalling is voor de drie verblijven samen). gezien de warme temperaturen mag er wel een koelkastje op de kamer zijn

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Mooi hotel op de markt van Poperinge, we hebben genoten van het avondmaal in hun restaurant en daarna in een prachtige en geluidloze kamer geslapen op het 2de verdiep met airco. Het ontbijt was overheerlijk met en grote variatie in spijs en drank.
Ik kan daar niets negatiefs over zeggen

Reviewed May 17, 2026We hadden de "zolder"kamer, met buitenterras. Fijne, schone kamer. Badkamer was ook goed verzorgd met badjassen en diverse toiletartikelen. Uitgebreid ontbijt, meer dan genoeg keus. En niet geheel onbelangrijk, de koffie was lekker :-) Erg vriendelijk personeel. Aanrader.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Omdat ik om 8u00 bij een opleiding moest zijn was ik genoodzaakt om al zeer vroeg te ontbijten. Dit was geen enkel probleem. Vanaf 7u00 was ik welkom in de fantastische ontbijtzaal. Niet zomaar een ontbijt maar een uitgebreid buffet staat klaar.
Niets eigenlijk. De kamer was super. Alles heel proper en netjes. Koffie op de kamer. Mijn kamer had een klein terasje wat super was. Dan kon ik nog even buiten zitten.

Reviewed Dec 20, 2025My wife and I have stayed at Hotel de la Paix several times, and the place never disappoints. This past week (two-night stay) was exceptionally good. Robbe and Josephine, the owners, are great hosts, the room was beautiful and clean, the dinner in the Café was out of this world, and breakfast hit the spot (the eggs!). Can't beat the location, either, with free parking easily available just off the Grote Markt.

Would have been helpful to have the location of the Free public car park before hand. Entrance to the car park is concealed between 2 buildings Room 5 is at the top of a flight of stairs. Won’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues However great view over The Grand Place and a sun terrace

Our room wasn’t made up on our last night. It was sorted by contacting our hosts. There was a bit of confusion when we asked about this , apparently we were in our room when the cleaner came , but they never came back. There was no indication that the cleaner wished access.

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025The location in the centre of Poperinghe was great for exploring the First World War battlefield… close but. It with the crowds of nearby Ypres. The adjacent restaurant was superb.
Rooms overlooking the square could be noisy… customers of nearby bars could be heard in the early hours… I guess it’s the price to pay of a central location and not something that the property can do anything about.

Je n'ai pas aimé l odeur de renfermé en entrant dans la chambre, les WC dans la salle de bain et le fait qu'il n y a jamais personne à l accueil et le restaurant fermé. Il n'y a pas de lumière du jour dans la salle de bain et la chambre pas assez éclairée.

De uitrusting van de kamer, douche kop was kapot en sproeide alle richtingen uit, de airco maakte een piepend geluid, ... Er waren werken in het hotel ... graag had ik dat op voorhand (bij de boeking) geweten. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid genoeg, maar de produkten mogen verser ... minder verpakte produkten.
