The location is excellent, within walking distance of all the restaurants in Wilderness. The breakfast was delicious and made with a lot of care. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you we had a great stay.

The location is great, within easy walking distance of local restaurants, and the property features a well-kept outdoor area and garden. There is also a good selection of in-room tea and coffee.

Unfortunately, the hotel is outdated and lacks charm. There is a general damp smell throughout the property, and while it feels clean, the heavy use of pine gel leaves a strong, unpleasant chemical odor. A few details negatively impacted our comfort: Comfort & Maintenance: The mattress topper had a deep indentation that forced us to remove it in the middle of the night. The shower leaked, the massage chair makes a loud noise and needs servicing, and the bathroom lacks an extractor fan. Atmosphere & Staff: Staff in communal areas were loudly watching series on their phones. Instead of playing relaxing background music in the lounge and breakfast area, local radio was playing—listening to ad breaks ruins the ambiance. Service & Quality: Breakfast could definitely be improved. For a 5-star rating at this price point, the amenities feel cheap—from the basic drinks to mismatched cutlery (all three teaspoons in our room were different) and low-end glassware. Keys: Room access requires a bulky handful of two remotes and two keys, which is inconvenient to carry and easily misplaced.

Having stayed at Cinnamon when we "did" the Garden Route 2 years ago when we decided to revisit Wilderness we had no hesitation in stsying here. Great location, lovely room and excellent breakfast. Staff are all great too and really helped us out when our car rental suffered a flat tyre overnight! If we return to Wilderness we will have no hesitation in returning to Cinnamon.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the guest house. On arrival we had been given a free upgrade to their top suite, which was great. It was a lovely large room with a very comfy bed. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was very good with a large selection to choose from, including hot items that they cook to order. Due to the weather conditions, which no one can control the whole area ended up loosing power but the guest house has its own generator. There are a few restaurants within a 5 min walk. There is an honesty bar and they offer you to take 1 drink pp free of charge. All in all it was a lovely stay and would go back again.

From the friendliest staff, a central position with a safe walkway to nearby restaurants, a spacious airy room and the best eggs Benedict, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Staff were so lovely and friendly. The location was perfect, and had on site parking too. Rooms were spacious and so clean. The breakfast was very nice, had a good variety. We stayed for 2 nights for our honeymoon and loved it.

Very well situated luxerious accomodation which grants tourist complete freedom and safety. Loved the trust bar!! The location is a true representation of the Garden route. Very central and walking distance to great restaurants.

Stayed here for 2 nights, but wished we had booked longer. Excellent location just off the main road, but felt very secluded due to the flora ,fauna and bird wildlife giving a feeling of remoteness. A short walk to the most amazing beach and a number of excellent restaurants nearby,also0 petrol station and well equipped supermarket. Staff are so welcoming, pleasant, attentive and professional. Rooms are spacious, spotless and well equipped .There is a choice of welcome drink you can take on arrival or at any time during your stay. with an "honesty" bar in operation. Breakfast quality is excellent. You are given your own set of keys to the property which gives access to a rear gate and a lovely short walk int the town and across the road to the beach. Had a wonderful stay. Small pool area with nice sunbeds.

Sensationelle Lage, wie im Dschungel und aber in unserem Lieblingsort Wilderness. Super liebes Personal. Tolles Frühstück, mit frischen Obstsalat, verschiedenen Kaffee und Teesorten, Eier in allen möglichen Variationen, einfach nur schön. Sehr komfortable Zimmer. Schön war auch, dass man abends zu Fuß zum Essen gehen konnte und auch im Dunklen zurück. Man fühlte sich sehr sicher und es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge (Knysna, Plett, Robberg etc.)

Lovely hotel close to centre of Wilderness. Exceptional service throughout, particularly Ted who worked tirelessly to ensure your comfort. Really nice outdoor / pool area surrounded by trees and local bird life. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend the Eden Adventures canoeing/ hiking activity and the "Girls on the Square" restaurant. The Map of Africa is also well worth a visit

This was a great choice of guest house. Easy to find and access. Parking on site behind secure gate. Very friendly staff who gave great service (booking restaurants, helping with enquiries, help with luggage). We had a very comfy room (two balconies) with plenty of space. Extremely comfy armchairs and bed. Coffee facilities with fresh milk provided in the little fridge. Breakfast in nice setting (outside when weather allowed with views of the garden and the birds). Generator kicked in when we had power cuts. Umbrellas available if raining. We stayed 5 nights and would definitely stay here again.

We liked everything at the guest house. We walked to the beach which was a bit disconcerting as under the road through a tunnel. Gorgeous beach - didn't swim due to the number of jelly fish we saw on the beach but we did see others swimming.

Very warm welcome, it was raining but umbrellas brought out to help us being soaked. Very spacious and modern room , and exceptionally clean, lovely aspect,a view of the pool and garden . Aussergewöhnlich nettes Personal - jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter war mehr als bemüht! Wir sind schon sehr viel gereist, so etwas Zuvorkommendes und Freundliches von wirklich jedem Mitarbeiter haben wir noch nicht erlebt, super Lage, sehr gepflegt, großes Zimmer, tolles Frühstück.

Es war alles super, das kann ich gar nicht als aufzählen. Das Personal hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt und für einen tollen Aufenthalt gesorgt

Lovely hotel right in the middle of Wilderness. Spacious room with balcony, nice pool, secure parking, good breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff. Less than 10 minute walk to half a dozen bars/restaurants and only 15 minute walk to a magnificent beach. We actually thought of retiring there! (Albeit the 12 hour flight to Cape Town is a killer) A great place to stay for a few days for people doing the Garden Route!

An exceptionally pretty boutique hotel with a fabulous interior, staff to die for and beautifully appointed rooms. 11 out of ten. And Wilderness has some fabulous restaurants . Plus the breakfast options were faultless and freshly prepared ( best coffee in 2 weeks too)

This is a wonderful place,surrounded by trees and birds. Breakfast lovely and ypu can see sun birds and Krysna Loeries in the garden as the staff leave food out for them.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en heel attent! Prachtige ruime kamers en een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt! Ligging was goed! 5 min wandelen van het strand en nog geen 2 min van een paar heel leuke restaurantjes.

De wifi was niet super goed maar er was volgens mij een storing de 2 dagen dat ik er heb gezeten. Voor de rest hebt ik zeker geen klachten! Zeker een aanrader.

Wat een geweldig en luxueuze accommodatie. Wij zijn de hele tijd in de watten gelegd. Alles zo aangenaam, rustig, vriendelijk. Echt om te genieten het ben je ‘echt gast. Van. A tot Z. Het ontbijt was fantastisch, nog nooit zo een lekker en liefdevol egg Benedict gegeten In de tuin zijn waterflesjes voor de vogels om te drinken, dan komt dan weer zo een kleurrijk beestje langs. Echt fantastisch dit!

Als wir dort ankamen war unser Zimmer mit Rosen, Rosenblättern und einem guten Sekt liebevoll dekoriert. Die Managerin Lisa hat sich für jeden Gast Zeit genommen um nach dem Wohlbefinden und den Plänen für den Tag zu fragen. Wir haben tolle Tipps erhalten und sehr gute Restaurantempfehlungen. Das Ambiente war sehr familiär und herzlich. Eine absolute Empfehlung

Everything about this place is exceptional. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room we had was large, comfortable and had a large balcony. Despite being near the main road it was quiet and peaceful and only a short walk into the village centre with it's shops & restaurants. Breakfast was first rate. Would recommend.

The quality of the staff from the manageress to porter is very high, smiling, thoughtful of personal needs ( I was reallocated a superior ground floor room without asking when it was noted that I would find the stairs difficult, at no extra cost ). Excellent fresh breakfast. Well stocked Honesty bar, and self help coffee machines.

The staff are absolutely wonderful, with particular thanks to the manager. So kind and helpful. They facilitated a late check out to let our toddler nap. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Our room was large and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area is lovely, surrounded by trees and birdlife. The location is excellent. The garden exit takes you straight into the center of the village for shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay again.

This place is absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived we were given a very warm welcome and a comprehensive tour of the place. The staff at Cinnamon are very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. By the time we left they all felt like family. The place itself is stunning. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and a lot of thought was put into their design and decoration. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday and our property was respected. The downstairs area is beautiful, with a couple of very comfortable lounges. The dining area and bar were also beautiful and relaxing, with a wide range of breakfast options and drinks. We enjoyed spending time by the pool area. The ambiance there is amazing. Peaceful and tranquil. Kept very clean at all times. The photos on the website are exactly how the place is. I could not praise this place any louder. It even has a spa offering amazing massages etc. This place is a walking distance to a variety of good quality restaurants and pubs. The beautiful beach is also a short walk away. Five of us stayed here for a week and had a joyful and relaxing time. We had arranged this as a venue for my sister's 50th birthday. I highly recommend this place and it can never disappoint. We found it to be great value for money too.

This is a beautiful place to stay, the staff were amazing and helpful and once they heard it was our wedding anniversary left wine and chocolates in our room. The rooms were large and spacious, breakfast was lovely with a good choice of hot or cold food on offer. We also indulged in a spa treatment which was so relaxing and well worth the money.

From the moment we arrived, until we left, the experience we had staying in this hotel was unforgettable. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms wonderful and the staff amazing. Special mention must go to Ted, who is THE BEST in his front of house position. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was sublime.

This is an extraordinary place to stay. Every need is anticipated, with meticulous attention to detail and such friendly, helpful staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. To say the rooms are comfortable and spacious doesn't really do them justice. We're talking luxury here! We were sad to leave and fervently hope to have the opportunity to return some day. Thank you everyone for your warmth and generosity, which has helped to make our visit to South Africa so memorable.

A warm welcome awaited us from Lemisse who was so friendly and helpful. She recommened a lovely restaurant for dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable and had little treats to mark our anniversary. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend this venue.
