La ubicación es muy buena, con una playa muy bonita. Todo el staff es muy servicial y atento.

La propiedad está un poco vieja y descuidada, por ejemplo no había ventilador en la terraza aún cuando en las fotos si hay, el jacuzzi es más bien una piscina para niños literalmente. Tuvimos la mala suerte de no tener energía durante toda la noche y el calor era insoportable

Der Pool war leider nicht sauber. Auf unserem Balkon lag Ratten Kot. Einige Geckos im Zimmer und beim verlassen des Zimmers kam uns eine Ratte entgegen.

The location was great. Directly by the beach. The place was as describted. The parking was protected. Just a good place to be with kids. The food is very decent and not extremly overpriced.

The furniture was a little bit old. There was no protection agains mosquito, The baby was bit quiete a lot. We end up to go to a doctor to make sure she is ok.

Tuvimos una experiencia pésima y peligrosa. El hotel tiene al menos 3 perros grandes sueltos sin supervisión en áreas comunes, incluyendo un pitbull. Los animales irrumpen constantemente en la zona de playa y piscina subiéndose encima de los huéspedes. La situación escaló cuando uno de los perros ("Bobi") se le acostó encima a mi madre en la piscina y se negaba a moverse. Al pedir ayuda al personal, demostraron una falta total de profesionalismo: un empleado, tras llamarlo por su nombre, afirmó "no saber de quién era" y nos sugirió absurdamente que le diéramos un golpe o lo agarráramos por el cuello para quitarlo, exponiéndonos a una agresión. Viendo que el empleado no resolvía nada, busqué a otra empleada y le pedí que trajera comida como alternativa para lograr apartar al perro de forma segura. El perro nos siguió hasta la habitación. Debido al gran estrés y al peligro vivido, a mi madre se le elevó la presión arterial y tuvimos que trasladarla de emergencia a un centro médico. Es un lugar inaceptable que no garantiza la seguridad ni la tranquilidad de sus huéspedes.

Noi avevamo la camera più “defilati” dal centro della struttura e il Wi-Fi faceva molta fatica ad arrivare. Prezzi alti, se da menu una birra costava 200, alla fine con le varie tasse arrivava a 320 pesos

Está ubicado en frente de una playa muy linda, playa Cosón, el personal muy atento, el desayuno que está incluido en el alojamiento es muy rico y al momento de comer en su restaurant comimos ceviche y pescado, realmente exquisita la comida, los sabores muy ien mezclados, una experiencia totalmente recomendable.

Séjour exceptionnel à la Casa Cosòn, recommandé par Le Routard, je serai bien restée plus longtemps ! Le cadre est magnifique, donnant directement sur la plage, les chambres sont spacieuses et joliment décorées, on s’y sent très bien. Merci à tout le personnel de l’hôtel, adorable et aux petits soins, j’étais très touchée par leur accueil. La cuisine du restaurant est excellente. Allez-y, si vous voulez connaître un coin de paradis !

Das Hotel Casa Coson ist einzigartig. Die familiäre Atmosphäre und der direkte Zugang zum Meer hat was besonderes. Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet und die Cocktailbar schlägt alles. Yorgie der Barkeeper kreiert die besten Cocktails und seine Kreativität kennt keine Grenzen. Wenn man die Deluxe Suite mietet, dann hat man ein ganzes Kolonialstilhaus für sich alleine mit Blick auf das Meer und auf dem Pool! Darin stehen drei Doppelbetten! Rechts am kilometerweiten Sandstrand gibt es ein "Massagestudio" und 500 m weiter weg ein uriges Strandrestaurant mit frischem Fisch aus dem Meer. Davor fließt ein Süßwasserfluss in das Meer, in dem man sich richtig gut abkühlen kann. Außerdem kann man ab dem Strandrestaurant hinaus einen schönen Schnorcheltrip unternehmen mit vielen bunten Fischen und Korallen. Weiter hinaus, wo das Riff abfällt sieht man auch größere Fische. Das Reiten am Strand ist ebenso sensationell wie das Personal vom Hotel Casa Coson.

Un pelín de mantenimiento y limpieza, aunque tengo que apuntar que nuestra habitación era la mexicana y tenía ese encanto,.que era como si estuvieras en la misma playa.

Die Lage ist super!

Das Hotel ist erheblich in die Jahre gekommen. Wir sind nach 1 Woche wieder abgereist, weil plötzlich störende Bauarbeiten und Abrissarbeiten durchgeführt wurden. Die schöne Strandbar wurde leider am 3. Tag unseres Aufenthaltes abgerissen. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach und das Essen im Restaurant durchschnittlich. Die Pizzen werden mit viel zu viel Käse serviert.

La tranquiladad me encantó ! Y la comida súper buena

La propreté de l’hôtel, le confort de la literie, la sympathie et la disponibilité du personnel, l’établissement bien typique dominicain, l’accès direct à la plage Cosón (comme si elle était privatisée) qui est une plage magnifique et très calme, la restauration vraiment bonne, vraiment une belle découverte !

Le seul petit « bémol » est que l’hôtel est à l’écart du centre de Las Terrenas, et que du coup, cela rend un peu compliqué les déplacements pour aller dans le centre (nécessite un taxi ou une navette) (environ 10min du centre) mais ce n’est qu’un détail, sinon rien à dire !

Das Restaurant ist für die dargebotenen Speisen zu hochpreisig - besser und vor allem sehr viel günstiger kann man in einer Strandbar essen.

The location on the perfect beach. Nothing else.

Terrible experience. We paid 261 USD per night for s private vila. There was no hot water during our stay, so we had to take cold showers with our two small kids. The biggest issue was a large hotel generator located directly next to the villa. The power went out, the generator ran from around 8:00 PM until midnight. The noise was so loud that we could barely hear each other talking, and it was impossible to sleep. We could not control the aircondition and the apartment was not cleaned well - dead insect everywhere etc. We reported the problems, but they were not resolved at all, nobody really cared. We would definitely not stay here again and cannot recommend this property.

La ubicación es excepcional, frente a una playa maravillosa. La parte que da a la playa es espectacular y puedes salir descalzo de la habitación directo al mar. El desayuno está bien y en la parte de delante con vistas al mar.

Nos cobraron más de 30 euros más de lo que indicaba booking y no nos dieron ninguna explicación, booking marcaba 100,94 euros más 18 euros de impuestos (18%) pero ellos nos dijeron que los impuestos eran 46,17 euros, la verdad es que vivo en RD desde hace años y nunca nos había pasado. Me parece muy engañoso contratar un hotel a un precio y que luego sea totalmente diferente. Además la habitación no tenía nada que ver con las fotos que nos habían salido en booking. Totalmente encerrada, sin ninguna luz y dando a la parte de atrás muy oscura, totalmente decepcionante.

La comida fue lo mejor del hospedaje

Pueden mejorar las almohadas y colchónes de las habitaciones tipo bungaloo.

The hotel is beautifully located on the beach, and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The guests traveling with dogs should be aware that the hotel's dog roams freely around the property. During our stay, my dogs were always on a leash, yet there were several altercations with the hotel's dog. The hotel eventually restrained their dog, and there were no further issues. I am sharing this simply so that other dog owners know what to expect.

Nuestra experiencia fue excelente de principio a fin. Todo estuvo impecable: las instalaciones, la habitación, la comida y las áreas comunes. La vista a la playa es simplemente espectacular y crea un ambiente perfecto para descansar y desconectarse. Quiero destacar especialmente la amabilidad y profesionalismo de todo el personal, quienes nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos en todo momento y estuvieron siempre atentos a cualquier necesidad. La comida estuvo deliciosa, con muy buena calidad. La habitación era cómoda, limpia y acogedora, con todo lo necesario para una estancia placentera. Sin duda, fue una experiencia de primera. Recomiendo este lugar al 100 % y volvería sin pensarlo.

The hotel was very clean, super nice. The staff was super attentive. The breakfast was super good and had different options to pick from.

Nothing! Awful air quality and cleanliness in room. The room we book was poorly advertised, in person it was like a dusty barn, flies/bugs all over the bed sheets, dirty mattress, very humid, and awful customer service to name a few.

Everything, there were stray dogs all over the property, there was dog feces all of the property, dogs barking all night, mopeds blasting music all night. There was one ductless AC that didn't do anything because there were no real windows, only screens covered with a curtain. There wasn't even a doorknob on the door to close it. There was black mold in the shower. It was very dusty--poor air quality.

Das Hotel Casa Coson ist ein kleines Paradies an einem wunderschönen Strand. Wir haben dort viel Ruhe gefunden und äusserst nette Menschen angetroffen, die einem jeden Wunsch erfülllt haben.

Leider ist die ganze Anlage Baufällig. Überall Beschädigungen, abgefoultes Holz, dreckiger und ungepflegter Garten, defekte Türen wie eben schon gesagt, das ganze Objekt ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Der Preis für die Übernachtung ist übertrieben hoch und auf keinen Fall gerechtfertigt. Auch die Speisen und Getränke sind sehr teuer.

Séjour exceptionnel ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nous avons passé un moment incroyable dans cet hôtel. Les chambres étaient propres, confortables et très bien entretenues. Le personnel était accueillant, professionnel et toujours disponible pour aider avec le sourire. L’emplacement est parfait, proche de tout et dans un cadre très agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux avec beaucoup de choix, et l’ambiance générale de l’hôtel était calme et relaxante. Mention spéciale pour le service et l’attention aux détails qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande cet hôtel à 100 % et j’y retournerai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain voyage.

L’emplacement paradisiaque, l’accueil du personnel, la chambre nickel avec une vue incroyable, la literie, les cocktails, la plage, la nourriture : tout était parfait ! Des remerciements particuliers à Zak et Joël à la réception, toujours de bons conseils, Rose et Edwin au service, aux petits soins avec nous, Jefferson et Phenix au bar qui nous ont fait des cocktails excellents tout le long du séjour et ont su nous aider pour trouver une excursion au dernier moment notamment. Et enfin, un grand merci à David pour l’accueil chaleureux. Autant pour un couple seul qu’une famille avec enfants, c’est l’endroit idéal pour profiter au calme à las terrenas.

Está ubicado en un lugar que es un paraíso. Tiene una playa hermosa y poco concurrida, lo cual la hace muy tranquila. El hotel tiene una vista hermosa (solo hay que considerar que la playa tiene olas y quizás a no todos les guste eso). Por otro lado, la atención de Joel fue un punto a destacar, muy atento desde la recepción misma, hasta la hora de retirarnos. Me encantaría volver

La colazione era molto buona e il personale gentile. La struttura è proprio di fronte al mare, un paradiso, e la piscina è molto bella e pulita. La cena era buona. Onestamente, nel complesso, sembrava una location da cartolina in perfetto stile caraibi ma si è rivelata un incubo per via degli scarafaggi in camera che ci hanno rovinato la vacanza.

Non so da dove inziare: l’acqua nel lavandino non aveva pressione, scendeva a goccia e faceva cattivo odore, quindi usavamo solo l’acqua della doccia per qualsiasi cosa. Gli armadi nella stanza erano distrutti e la nostra stanza era letteralmente invasa da scarafaggi enormi, parlo di insetti grandi quanto mezzo palmo di mano che si arrampicavano in tutte le pareti e camminavano sul frigo e sulle nostre cose. Uno scenario da incubo che non ci ha fatto dormire per due notti. Il ragazzo della reception ci ha aiutati a ucciderne diversi ma ci ha detto che non poteva darci un’altra stanza perché la struttura era piena. Non avevo mai visto nulla di simile in vita mia.

We loved the Hotel Casa Cason! We were looking for a beach experience that felt more intimate and local than a resort. This hotel did the trick! We found the rooms, hotel grounds, and beach to be very comfortable and scenic. Our kids had a blast riding the waves and swimming in the pool. The breakfast was delicious! We also appreciated the quiet location, which was within reach of a lot of Samana's best sites.

L’endroit est magique ! Il correspond parfaitement aux photos donc pas de mauvaise surprise bien au contraire ! La chambre numéro 2 est top avec son large balcon qui donne directement sur le jardin et la mer ! J’ai aimé le fait que l’établissement soit à taille humaine donc pas de foule, et la plage s’étend sur des kilomètres !

Es war im Hotel alles eher billig und sperrlich aber der Strand war schön

Sehr heruntergekommen, alle möbel zerkratzt und in marrodem zustand. Die pool area klein und in rennovation, das frühstück limmitiert/ kein buffet mit schlechtem kaffe und wenn man um 7.50 nach einem kaffe fragt, gibt es keinen. Preis leistung stimmt nicht.

Pas d'eau propre dans la douche nous avons du nous laver avec un bidon d'eau potable pendant 3 jours. Nous avons aussi eu une intoxication alimentaire comme d'autres personnes de l'établissement sans doute du au fait que les ustensiles de cuisine devait être lavé avec cette eau sale.

Casa Coson is a charming villa nestled on the beautiful Playa Coson, surrounded by a tropical garden.

We were initially checked into a lower-category room, by mistake. After realizing the error, the staff relocated our belongings in our absence, mishandling our personal items in the process. Furthermore, no refund was offered for the price difference of the initial night. Breakfast is plenty and tasty but the service is slow.

Beautiful spot, as usual, in las terrenas. We loved the beach and the pool, and our first night's dinner was delicious. The staff at the reception were friendly and relax. The bartender lady was lovely. They have these sweet dogs that come for food and are just adorable.

The kitchen staff was so unfriendly. The waitress during breakfast was impatient, and rude. The breakfast was terrible, better to make food yourself and save some bucks. One of the bedrooms in our bungalow had no working light in the bathroom. We informed the staff, but nothing was done. One of our children woke up in his bedroom with water dripping down on him from the ceiling. Luckily it was fixed that day.

Die tolle Lage am Strand

Die Hotelanlage vor Las Terrenas gelegen ist ein absolutes Juwel von paradiesischem Ausmass. Sie liegt direkt an einem traumhaften, filmreifen, von Palmen gesäumten Strand. Das Hotel hat einen lauschigen Garten, ist liebevoll und mit Herzblut gestaltet. Das Hotel mit nur wenigen Zimmern ist überschaubar, familiär, authentisch. Drinks an der Bar mit Meeresrauschen gibts auch nach dem Dinner. Die Speisekarte ist klein, aber oho, das Frühstück glänzt vor allem auch mit frisch geschnittenen Früchten.

Très bel hôtel face à la mer, très bien entretenu. Le bar et le restaurant sont très bons ainsi que le petit déjeuner. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable.

Le bruit. Nous logions dans l’hôtel et non dans les bungalows. Le son des conversations du personnel des cuisines remonte et résonne. Lorsque les clients montent dans leur chambre également. Une nuit nous n’avons quasi pas dormi car des « clientes » peu recommandables ont semé la zizanie sans que personne de l’hôtel n’intervienne. Nous avons dû personnellement intervenir avec les clients de la chambre d’à côté. Nous sommes venus à l’hôtel pour dormir et à environ 150€ la nuit nous nous attendions à mieux dormir. Nous l’avons signalé à la réception et aucun geste n’a été effectué, c’est très dommage.

Doporučuji hotel, až na personál. Zahrada je pěkná, moře a pláž na tomto místě nádherné. Skoro žádní lidé na pláži, takže pokud chcete relax, tak doporučuji (oproti oblasti baváro - Punta cana). Jídlo bylo také dobré.

Personál - Neměli jsme dobré zkušenosti, vše bylo problém zařídit a byli nevstřícný, neochotný a jejich přístup působil velmi nepříjemně – měli jsme pocit, že je naše přítomnost obtěžuje. . Angličtinu nikdo skoro neumí a je těžké se s nima domluvit. Celkově nám příslo, že je jen otravujeme, když jsme si něco objednali. Vybavení také není moc dobré, netekla nám teplá voda. Celkově to nevypadalo dobře jako na fotkách - měli jsme ubytování Casa Bali. Jídlo dobré, ale byl problém přidat si i džus. Při příjezdu v sezoně zrovna dělali opravy.

Original room for 2 days and upgraded room (at minor additional cost) was excellent

Upgraded room had a kitchen with a gas stove but the gas stove had no gas! Also upgraded room had an excellent shower stall but most of the time there was no hot water.

First, they gave me a house instead of the room I had booked, and second, they overcharged me. Then I complained and they refunded the extra money.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le personnel est souriant et à l'écoute. Les repas petits déjeuners, déjeuner, diner parfait. La chambre était parfaite et propre. Nous sommes à 50 mètres de la plage avec transats à disposition.

The beach location is beautiful--suitable for walking and surfing; families were also playing along the shore, but it's a little more rough than other beaches around Las Terrenas. The location is quiet and they have done nice landscaping on the grounds. Staff was out every day sweeping up fallen leaves and tending to the common areas. The location feels more "authentic" than some of the cookie-cutter hotels run by chains. The staff members were all friendly and tried to accommodate guests who spoke a variety of languages. (We met folks from Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Argentina, Spain, Peru, and the US.) The bed was comfortable and bedrooms were air conditioned. There is a small market (Mini Mercado Coson) about a block up the street, where we purchased beer and rented a buggy. There are several areas with chaise lounges or tables and chairs so that small groups can sit outside in the shade. Servers from the bar are attentive, but not bothersome. On Sundays, it seems as if local residents may come to enjoy the beach/pool/grounds and bar/restaurant area. It was pleasant to see families and kids playing. Although the beaches and roadsides are littered with all kinds of trash and plastic, we were pleased to learn that Las Terrenas now has garbage pick-up and hopefully there's a trend toward restoring/maintaining the natural beauty.

The restaurant is currently under construction, so service was provided in what probably was the hotel lobby. The breakfast was tasty, but the menu was very limited; between 2pm and 6pm only pizza was available; dinner was served 6pm-10pm, also with a limited menu. We were told the restaurant should be opening in a couple months. (Also met some people who had come from a distant hotel and were disappointed to find the restaurant closed; they have been wintering in Las Terrenas for 10 years and loved Restaurante Coson.) There is another restaurant (Restaurante Luis) across the street from Casa Coson and two accessible from the beach (one in each direction). We did not eat in either of the beach establishments, but R Luis had a reasonable menu. (Nearby Playa Bonita is much better developed and has more options for eating.) We should have recalled this from previous stays in the Caribbean, but it's a bit unpleasant to have to put toilet paper into a waste basket. This was true in all establishments, not just our hotel. Showers were the biggest problem--one of them was hand-held, but could not be used when mounted because it drooped and sprayed the wall; therefore, a person was forced to hold the shower head in one hand and try to wash with the other. In the second bathroom, there was a dual set-up--an overhead "rain" shower as well as a hand-held shower head--but the fitting required to select one or the other was missing; therefore, a small amount of water dribbled from both places at once. Our bungalow had a kitchen, so I ended up washing my hair under the faucet in the sink. Hot water was also in limited supply, so we tried to be very quick! Ask about the room before you book it--we had a 3-bedroom, 2-bath bungalow, but it would not have been suitable for all families because one bedroom/bath was only accessible from the porch, requiring guests to go outside en route between the rooms. The kitchen was also accessed from the porch.

Zimmer sehr rudimentär für eigentlich recht viel Geld Das Personal beim Frühstück ist besonders unfreundlich wenn man nicht spanisch spricht. Das Frühstück an sich ist eher mau. Das Personal am Abend ist auch besonders unmotiviert, man kann bestellen was man will - als Beilage bekommt man immer nur Pommes Frittes. Die Speisekarte ist sehr klein und vieles davon gibt es gar nicht. Die bunte Speisekarte, die hier in verschiedenen Rezensionen herumgeistert haben wir nicht finden können. Detto die Weinkarte. Die Auswahl an weiß, rose und rotweinen ist eigentlich recht beachtlich - in der Realität gibt es aber max 1-2 verschiedene je Farbe Leider gab es Bauarbeiten während unseres Aufenthaltes, von dem wir im Vorfeld natürlich nicht informiert wurden. Die Rechnung aufs Zimmer schreiben geht gar nicht - man hat uns um 22:00 aus dem Zimmer geklopft um noch zu zahlen - scheinbar aus Angst das wir klammheimlich nachts abreisen und die Rechnung nicht zahlen. Die ~30% Märchensteuer machen das Essen doch recht teuer - aber das ist natürlich überall so. In Summe hätten wir uns dann aber auch ein schönes All-In leisten können
