Reviewed Sep 5, 2026De kamer met balkon en prachtig uitzicht op de zee en het zwembad. Verder is het personeel erg vriendelijk en de 2 (vrouwlijke) managers kunnen goed engels wel zo makkelijk!
Soms was de bar en/of het restaurant ineens eerder dicht (8 uur).

Nota di merito assoluta per il personale: un'accoglienza calorosa e tanta gentilezza. Tutto lo staff è stato attento a ogni dettaglio per farci sentire coccolati. Torneremo sicuramente! Posizione perfetta!

El apartamento en el que nos quedamos era muy cómodo, pero la cocina deben equiparla mejor y cambiar cosas que ya están muy viejas y deterioradas.

The room has an under the counter small refrigerator. No microwave... though it would be good to have it in the room. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Unbeatable location!

Perustason aamupala oli tarjolla Kioskissa meren puolella ja maistui hyvin. Pidin hotellin pienestä altaasta, jossa ei ollut ruuhkaa. Huoneen ilmastointi toimi. Pyykinkuivausteline oli kiva yllätys huoneessa.
Hotelli sopii perustasoa etsivälle. Yöllä kylpyhuoneessa oli sokeritoukkia tai muita vastaavia lattialla.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026The location of the beach was excellent, right across the street. I really wanted to love this hotel more, but there was more dislikes than likes.
First, the breakfast was not as expected or described. I expected full breakfast, eggs, salami or bacon, etc. One day they served ham and cheese sandwich and fruits. And the next day a plain croissant and fruit. I was very disappointed. They blamed it on the kitchen being fumigated, but when it came to lunch service (which was paid) there was fully cooked meals. I didn't understand. Second, my tv never worked. No signal, no cable, no picture, at all! I requested for them to check it, someone came by, knocked on the door, asked what was wrong, then left. Never came back even after several complaints. Third, the AC unit was leaking water onto the wall mounted cabinet. I reported it, again no one came to fix or check on it. Fourth, the water in the shower would back up. It would take a while before it would drain.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026Lokalizacja - tuż nad morzem, prawdopodobnie wszystkie pokoje z widokiem na wodę i basen, fajny układ. Pokoje czyste, może trochę zaniedbane (np. drzwi od łazienki zamykające się z oporem) ale widać że starają się dbać o czystość, codziennie sprzątane pokoje.
Śniadania - omijać szerokim łukiem. Ograniczona ilość na tyle że dorosły dostaje przydział jajecznicy z 1 (jednego!) jajka, czasem jest masło a nie ma chleba/bułek, czasem jest chleb ale nie ma masła. Po zgłoszeniu sytuacji w recepcji było lepiej przez jeden dzień - potem znów przydział minimum. Gniazdko suszarki w łazience nie działało - musieliśmy improwizować. Poprosiliśmy na recepcji o zamówienie taksówki na dzień wylotu z Dominikany - jeszcze później upewniliśmy się że została zamówiona i zostało to potwierdzone. W dniu wyjazdu nie doczekaliśmy się taksówki, recepcja pusta, telefon na recepcji więc nikt nie odbiera/odpisuje - o 6:30 rano zostaliśmy bez transportu. Gdyby nie śniadania i sytuacja z taksówką na pewno opinia byłaby zdecydowanie lepsza.

Although the breakfast was included the offerings were the same for 7 days. Fruit, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, plantains, cheese, fired tofu and fried spam. A staff member dishes it out to you in limited quantities.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026Le petit dej est insuffisant (pas suffisamment de beurre, de toasts, de café etc.) et les jeunes qui s'en occupent sont vraiment désagréables. La chambre n'est pas conforme aux photos, avec tout particulièrement une salle de bain et des wc dégueulasses, dont le nettoyage de toute évidence n'est pas fait, avec des serviettes non changées régulièrement (il a fallu aller en trouver par nos propres moyens au 3ème jour). Dans cette salle de bain, le bac de la douche est cassé, ce qui fait que l'eau s'infiltre et se répand sous les lames du parquet flottant (qui pour le coup flotte réellement dès qu'on marche dessus. Nous avons prévenu en partant, après avoir finalement compris d'où ca venait). Il y a de la moisissure dans la chambre, des moustiques écrasés sur les murs, et de la saleté un peu de partout. Le ménage est un concept ici plus qu'une réalité (regarder dessous le lit a été une épreuve tellement c'est sale). Impossible de se baigner dans la piscine tellement l"eau n'est pas claire : une piscine ça se filtre (chlore, brome, sel, ....), surtout dans cette partie du globe avec ces chaleurs. Le jardin et la situation sont géniaux par contre. Judith, à l'accueil, est d'une grande gentillesse quant à elle, elle est vraiment formidable et reste le meilleur atout de l'hôtel.

Reviewed Jan 21, 2026The hotel’s location is really great, right on the main road, with the beach just next to it. The beach itself is very well maintained. I would like to praise the receptionist, who was extremely friendly and helpful, and enthusiastically explained all the services and the restaurant. The rooms are average and mostly furnished with older equipment.
There are far too few parking spaces in front of the hotel. The restaurant is a disaster. Breakfast is served cold—fried eggs and bread are brought out pre-prepared on plates and covered with plastic wrap. If you choose this hotel, do not book breakfast. The restaurant staff is also completely unfriendly. We waited 30 minutes to be served and then left. It’s a shame when breakfast ruins your holiday. The water smells like sewage, which makes showering unpleasant, and your hair continues to smell afterward. Would I recommend staying at this hotel? No, I wouldn’t.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Very happy with the hotel, 10 min walk from the center. Dominican style breakfast in the seaside restaurant across the road is very nutritious. The rooms are spacious and clean. Yes, it is falling apart here and there and needs renovation, but it didn't bother us. The staff is kind and helpful. Hopefully the staff has also changed the battery in the smoke detector by now, which beeped for four days!

A colazione finiva il caffè, il latte e la frutta e non venivano rimpiazzati. Non c'erano dolci, nemmeno dei biscotti o merendine confezionate. Alla richiesta di acqua intorno alle 23.00 ci è stato detto di andare al minimarket dai guardiani notturni... Lasciare delle bottiglie in reception durante la notte o mettere un distributore automatico potrebbe essere una soluzione. Prezzi escursioni +30% rispetto a tour operatori locali. TV non funzionante

No tenía agua caliente y los aires no funcionan a perfección. Ellos dicen q disponen de parqueos pero en realidad los parqueos son fuera del establecimiento y nadie lo cuida. Deberían poner sin parqueos y asi uno va mentalizado

El personal de restaurante debería ser más empatico. Al final se trata de estar en contacto con el cliente y que se sientan a gusto.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Llegué a desayunar a las 9:30 y tuve que esperar mucho y le pregunté al personal varias veces al ver que atendieron a más de 15 personas que llegaron después de mi y a las 11:00 me dicen que no quedaba del desayuno que solicité, tuve que irme con mi esposa molesto a otro lado a desayunar y gastar más dinero.
Creo que deben hablar con él personal muy mala la atención y desordenadamente. En ve de ir a pasar un momento agradable lo que perdí mucho tiempo y tuve que irme molesto y con hambre. Sinceramente me fuí desepcionado.

Reviewed Nov 23, 2025The location is excellent! It’s an easy walk to town and it’s right on the beach. Restaurant is on the beach snd has very good food. Everything was great except for an invasion of ants we had one afternoon. Suddenly I looked down at the floor and there was a black stripe of literally millions of tiny ants marching across the floor! The staff was VERY prompt about taking care of the problem but the smell from the insecticide used was overpowering. We retreated to our balcony and opened all the doors. I don’t know where the ants ended up, but the entire colony disappeared down a small crack in the sliding door track to the balcony in about 5-7 minutes. After the spraying we never saw another bug. It was something we had never seen there in the 3 other times we have stayed there. We will stay there again if we get back to Las Terrenas ! The people who work there are so friendly and helpful!

The wifi didn’t work at in the room even if it showed that i was connected it didn’t work. No warm water.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025Prima hotel, fantastische ligging direct aan de zee/ het strand (restaurant ligt op het strand!) Kamer schoon, ercodition & van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarbij is het personeel behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk, de vrouwelijke manager is 's middags & begin avond aanwezig en spreekt perfect Engels (erg handig als je iets moeilijks vraagt!). En als laatste de maaltijden zijn heerlijk.... Flip van Keulen

However, the property itself shows significant signs of wear and tear across nearly every area and is in need of substantial renovation. With the right investment, well-trained staff, and strong management, this place could easily transform into a top-tier destination in Las Terrenas. The potential is undeniable—it just needs someone with vision to bring it to life.

Wifi no funciona y recepcionista insiste en que si lo hace (sin mayor comentario). TV tampoco funcionaba. Sector de piscina en reparaciones.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025Service was great, friendly, and they answered any question I had as well as helped out with all of my requests, appreciate the help of the staff! Parking was easy, across the street where the restaurant is located which is also where the beach is located, fairly convenient. Less than a 10 minute walk from the town and restaurants, one block away from a market/convenience shop. Overall, great and easy stay for the price paid!

Un lugar anticuado, sin mantenimiento y con poco gusto El desayuno, muy pobre y poco variado, solo dos opciones.Una pena porque el lugar donde está es una maravilla. Aunque se puede decir que es bastante asequible ( quizás esto debería darnos una pista), aún así, no cumple unos estándares mínimos de lo que se espera en un hotel a pie de playa en el paraíso de Las Terrenas.
