Alam Kita to niesamowita atmosfera, cudowni ludzie i przede wszystkim Margo , na którą zawsze można liczyć. Domki są komfortowe i czyste. Ogromną zaletą jest dostęp do masaży ,oraz zajęcia jogi. Jeśli chcesz odpocząć od zgiełku w kameralnej atmosferze ..to idealne miejsce :)

Location perfetta, con accesso diretto al mare e vista meravigliosa. Staff molto accogliente e disponibile, abbiamo organizzato tutte le Escursioni con Margo ed il suo staff e ci siamo trovati benissimo. I prezzi dei tour sono più alti ma meritano visto il servizio e la comodità di partire per le gite in barca direttamente dal pontile. Camere spartane ma accoglienti.

Heerlijke plek op een fantastisch eiland. De staf van Alam Kita zorgt ervoor dat je heerlijk kunt ontspannen, mooie snorkel trips kunt maken, een scooter kunt huren om lekker vis te eten op de markt. Met andere woorden heerlijke tijd gehad.

We waren er maar twee hele en twee halve dagen. Eigenlijk te kort en we waren er dan ook graag langer gebleven.

Margo et son équipe ont rendu ce séjour unique. Le Alam Kita est très bien situé mais c est surtout un endroit où tout est fait pour que vous vous sentiez bien. Merci à toute l équipe

Le lieu est magique offrant chaque soir un coucher du soleil extraordinaire . Le ponton permet de profiter de la mer de façon privilégiée .margo et son équipe sont aux petits soins, dans une ambiance professionnelle et très familiale . Les meilleurs pancakes ! Le restaurant propose des salades et des ciabatta délicieuses pour varier les menus et divers plats locaux succulents . Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve entre massage, snorkeling et plage .

Certainly made to feel at home in this beautiful place. Room was more than adequate and the food here is excellent. Margo is such a lovely lady, always on hand for anything we needed. Staff here are wonderful, I actually got the impression that they enjoy being there. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I liked everything about staying at Alam Kita, could not find fault with the accommodation/staff/food and overall the experience there was excellent. Would gladly return. Wawun was a excellent guide and showed us many exciting traditions/culture of Karimunjawa. Margo was a beautiful hostess and all her staff were helpful/accommodating and friendly. 10x🤩s

De plek is uniek; gelegen aan de oceaan en de jungle achter je huisje. Goeie bedden, fijne douche en heerlijk eten. Je kan allerlei activiteiten boeken; van kookworkshops tot duiksafari. Margo en haar team staan met een lach en open armen voor je klaar. Een hele bijzondere plek en een absolute aanrader!

De locatie is super mooi en het personeel is heel vriendelijk, ze willen alles voor je doen!

In de huisjes in geen airco aanwezig, alleen ventilatoren. Wij hadden de pech dat het erg klam was maar anders prima toedoen met een ventilator denk ik.

Der Aufenthalt im Alam Kita war einfach super. Sehr freundliches Personal, welches einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Super Essen und Frühstück mit sehr gutem Kaffee. Tolle Schnorcheltouren und man kann einen Roller mieten und so die Insel erkunden. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Wirklich ein tolles Hotel, der etwas höhere Preis lohnt sich.

Non sono solito scrivere le recensioni, ma lo staff è qualcosa di incredibile. Mi hanno fatto sentire uno di loro, sempre sorridenti e disponibili. Struttura gestita benissimo e con tanto amore.

Absolument tout était parfait, Margo vous aide à organiser votre arrivée et votre départ et sur place Evy et toute l'équipe sont au petit soin. La nourriture sous forme de buffet est excellente et originale et vous permet d'expérimenter des saveurs que vous n'auriez sans doute pas testées, à un prix très raisonnable. L'emplacement est super et très central avec un service de location de scooter, l'hôtel magnifique et décoré avec goût, on se sent comme à la maison et le départ est un peu dur, on prolongeait bien...

We stayed at the sea view bungalow and everything was simply perfect. The room, crafted entirely from wood with fascinating carvings, felt completely immersed in nature—just like the rest of the hotel. Every detail has been beautifully curated, creating a truly unique and serene atmosphere. The photos don’t capture how wonderful this place really is—it far exceeded our expectations.The hotel offers plenty of activities, and the staff were extremely helpful in arranging a wonderful snorkeling experience. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about our stay and only wish we had booked for longer than 2 nights. Definitely recommend staying more days to fully enjoy this wonderful place.

Margo helped me with everything I needed, even before arriving to Karimunjawa with the ferry tickets, also organizing daily transfers by motorbike to Kemujan for diving (thanks Wawan). For breakfast you can choose from a variety of options, coffee is great. Possibility of delicious dinner that is different everyday, mostly vegetarian options. Perfect laundry service.

Un grand merci à Margo et à toute son équipe pour leur accueil chaleureux. Alam Kita reflète parfaitement l’esprit de l’île de Karimunjawa : un lieu calme, relaxant et paisible, où la gentillesse des habitants se conjugue à une nature omniprésente et préservée. Nous y avons passé une semaine inoubliable, entre sérénité et authenticité.

For dinner there could be more options, some fish would have been nice in such location on the seaside, we were eating meat and vegetables the whole week. On the other hand the dinner is 4 euros so I understand, but would be happy to pay more and have some fish options.

POSTO FANTASTICO, ha superato le nostre aspettative. Abbiamo lasciato il cuore su quest'isola e specialmente ad Alam Kita. Si respira pace in ogni angolo, tutto lo staff é super disponibile, gentile e allegro. La camera familiare era stupenda, abbiamo apprezzato anche il bagno privato all'aperto, pulizia ottima. Colazione buonissima, possibilità di pranzare o cenare in struttura, possibilità di fare massaggi (molto rilassanti), ci é piaciuta tanto anche l'escursione di snorkeling con loro (forniscono tutto il necessario ed é incluso anche il pranzo su un'isola con un mare cristallino). Tramonti stupendi visti direttamente dal pontile della struttura o dalla vicina Sunset beach. Lo sceglierei altre mille volte. Comodo avere il motorino per girare tutto l'isola perché la struttura si trova a 15 minuti dal centro/porto. Terimakashi Alam Kita

It feels like an oasis. The grounds are spacious and well kept with lots of places to sit and relax. They served lunch and dinner, and breakfast, so you never had to leave if you didn’t want. And the pier was fantastic for going in the water and watching the sunset.

Per quanto ci possano essere imperfezioni o dettagli che si possono migliorare, per noi è stato uno dei soggiorni più belli della nostra vita. Fortemente consigliato alle persone che hanno sensibilità per la natura che ci circonda. Alam Kita/la nostra natura ❤️

Alam Kita is a lovely place to stay, 10 to 15 mins outside the town on a scooter. Staff were fabulous, and breakfast was tasty. They organised a snorkelling trip for 7 of us, and it was great. Sunset beach was a 20 mins walk away.

I had the room with shared bathroom. The room was comfortable, but it was right next to the road, and I was kept awake with scooters and motor bikes late at night and early in the morning.

What an outstanding little gem!!! Set on a lush cliff side facing the most glorious blue sea, this group of traditional Joglo villas are simple yet inviting, and comfortable with all you need including personal amenities. Margo and all the team are an absolute delight, always there , but never intrusive. Food is awesome, and all activities are fairly priced and costs are transparent. Do yourself a favour and visit Alam Kita

Un ringraziamento speciale a tutto lo staff e a Margot per la disponibilità di qualsiasi richiesta,ma in particolare a Ira che ha saputo portare tanta pazienza in ciò che ci serviva per proseguire il nostro viaggio e soddisfare al meglio le nostre richieste! I’ve travelled all over the world, and this was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. I can’t recommend it enough. The entire staff knew me by name (they even found out it was my birthday and sang for me and made a special birthday treat for me), everything was located onsite (yoga, massage, even a snorkeling tour that pulled right up to the pier), and the place was just gorgeous. Incredibly kind and generous people. You should book without hesitation

Non mi dilungo molto sulla sistemazione in quanto le foto, credo, parlino da sole. Vado dritto al punto: il vero valore aggiunto del nostro soggiorno sono state Margo la proprietaria e Evi la manager insieme a Ira la cuoca del pranzo. Abbiamo avuto dei problemi con i biglietti per il traghetto sia all'andata che al ritorno così come con i mezzi di trasporto da Semarang a Jepara e da quest'ultima a Yogyakarta: Margo e Evi hanno risolto tutti i problemi. Sono due persone disponibilissime, gentili ma mai invadenti. Se avrete un problema o una richiesta (gite? Noleggio scooter? Colazioni/opranzo/cena?) state sicuri che vi sapranno accontentare. Questa si che è cura del cliente. Cosnigliato 100%

We had a wonderful time at Alam Kita! Margo and her team are fantastic and not only fulfill your every wish, but create such a familiar and welcoming atmosphere that we immediately felt at home. That was unique on our trip through Java. About the accommodation: our bungalow was super clean, equipped with a mosquito net (believe me, you need it!) and had a very practical terrace with a view of the sea. We particularly liked the outdoor shower, and every now and then a frog or gecko kept us company! :D About the ambience: the grounds are beautiful and natural. There are opportunities to relax everywhere, whether it's a hammock, loungers or benches. There is no beach, but there is a great jetty from which you can enjoy a fantastic sunset and jump into the crystal-clear water at any time. If you prefer sand between your toes, then the nearby beaches (5 minutes by scooter, which you can easily hire at Alam Kita) offer a good alternative. The atmosphere is very relaxing and Alam Kita is the right place to come down! The food: the pancakes at breakfast were so delicious that I didn't want anything else for breakfast anymore. And as coffee lovers we were not disappointed either. You could enjoy a buffet both at lunchtime and in the evening. During our 5-day stay, we were able to try something different every day and you can taste that they cook with love! Beer and even wine are also on the menu. Other things: you can book some activities with Alam Kita, for example we enjoyed the massage (we can only recommend it to everyone!), rented snorkeling equipment and scooters and took part in star gazing (very fascinating). You can also book a snorkeling tour, which we didn't do due to lack of time, but it's supposed to be very nice. Margo helped us with our boat tickets and transportation, everything went smoothly! All together: Thanks for the wonderful time Margo and team! It's obvious that you love your work and Alam Kita and you pass this on to your guests!

Er is altijd wel ergens commentaar op te leveren, maar bij Alam Kita valt alles mooi samen, is er de juiste balans: rust en tegelijk activiteiten die je nooit meer vergeet, zoals de privé tour met lokale vissers naar koraal en eten op onbewoond eiland. Het helemaal passende heerlijke ‘simpele’ eten. De vriendelijkheid van Margo en haar team. De heerlijke huisjes met buiten- badkamer en zonder airco: is ook helemaal niet nodig en wel zo stil!

Alam Kita voelt als een familie waar je tijdelijk in wordt opgenomen. De plek is een oase van rust, omringd door de zee. De mensen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en warm. Je wordt volledig ontzorgd; boot tickets, taxi en scooterhuur werden allemaal vanuit Alam Kita geregeld. Vanaf de steiger kan je gelijk heel mooi snorkelen. Ook de ligging op het eiland is perfect. Dichtbij sunset beach, kort scootertochtje naar het stadje of andere stranden, maar buiten de hectiek. Je kan aangeven of je mee eet met de lunch of avondeten. Je weet meestal niet wat je krijgt, maar het is altijd lekker en vegetarisch was geen probleem.

From the beginning to the end we really enjoyed our stay. Not just the people there are great but the whole island is just amazing. Make sure to do a snorkeling island hopping tour or take the SUB to explore the amazing under water world.

A little bit more veggie/vegan options would have been great.

Great place with an excellent team that made our stay magical! Great thing is that you can easily have good breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort such that you can fully relax and enjoy the different activities they offer (strongly recommend the private snorkeling tour and the visit to the turtle sanctuary) So simply put, it is paradise! 🌴

Alam Kita is idyllic. It's been designed and created to make you feel at one with nature from the moment you step into the property. You may see monkeys, you'll definitely see a goat, and you'll hear all the things to remind you that you are in the middle of a protected national park. The lapping of the ocean and the fish jumping from the stunning, long jetty. The myriad of birds in the trees. Bats at night. If you're looking to get away and submerge yourself in a sound and visual bath, this is the place. Island hopping, snorkelling, diving, and even hiking, can be arranged by the friendly and efficient staff working for owner Margo. As well as the usual retreat things if that's what you're in to (yoga being one of many wellness activities), I recommend this piece of paradise if you make the effort to get to Karimun Jawa (and I think it's well worth it). Great having filtered water available for re-filling drink bottles. A tasty breakfast whereby my gluten free diet was catered for as much as possible.

This is nit-picking and comes with the territory in the tropics and hard to avoid, but due to the humidity, the room and bedding were a little damp. Half day scooter hire options would be awesome.

A beautiful resort offering plenty of activities – perfect for a varied and fun holiday! The location is ideal for exploring the island. The staff is absolutely amazing and make you feel like part of one big family. I felt very comfortable and truly welcomed. Highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing time here. Margo and team really looked after us and ensured we had the perfect combination of relaxing and adventures. The hammock was perfect to spend a day reading and snorkling from, and we also enjoyed watching the goat roam around during the day. You can see the efforts they are making to restore and regenerate the coral, and this will only improve more as time goes on. As it is if you jump of the pier you can see clownish straight away, and if you snorkel further to the left approx 100m you will come across a pretty decent local reef which it is easy to spend a few hours a day swimming around. We hired a scooter from them and as I had never driven one before they kindly and patiently showed me how everything worked and took me for a little drive around first to build up confidence. 100% hope to return one day.

Vi fick ett fint välkomnande och personalen på boendet är otroligt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Boendet är beläget på en lugn plats i djungeln och har en trevlig brygga att ligga och sola på, snorkla ifrån och beskåda solnedgången på kvällen. Maten på boendet är god och varierad och vi åt oss mätta och belåtna. Till frukost åt vi jättegoda bananpannkakor (fler alternativ finns). Vi hyrde skoter på boendet för att utforska ön, vilket rekomenderas för den som vill ta sig till de vackra små sandstränderna i närheten. Vi kommer mer än gärna tillbaka igen! Tack för allt!

Het was geweldig!

De locatie is werkelijk heerlijk. Omdat je ver buiten het centrum zit kun je ter plekke eten. Lekker ontbijtje, lunch of avondeten. Altijd met sla of verse groenten en vers fruit. Het personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Het resort heeft een heerlijke stijger waar je lekker kunt wegdromen.

Beetje jammer dat je zelf moet vragen of er schoongemaakt kan worden of dat je schone handdoeken mag.

Prachtig verblijf op een heerlijk rustig plekje op dit prachtige eiland. Aan eigenaresse Margo kan je alles vragen en ze staat altijd klaar om te helpen. Ook complimenten naar de rest van de staff die erg vriendelijk waren en heerlijke maaltijden klaarmaakten.

Alam Kita in Karimunjava is de mooiste ervaring geweest van heel mijn vakantie op Java. Gastvrouw Margo is een heel open, lieve, leuke vrouw! Ze heeft mij en mijn broer hartelijk en liefdevol ontvangen samen met haar vriendelijk, spontaan en toegewijd team. Margo spreekt ook Nederlands wat een leuke verrassing was, en haar Indonesisch team is ook Engelstalig, wat het aangenaam maakt om ook eens te kunnen communiceren en te verbinden met het personeel. De prachtige locatie is een droom plaatje en krachtig aan te raden om er een langere tijd te verblijven; om tot rust te komen, te vertragen, te snorkelen in het helderblauwe water, in verbinding te komen met jezelf en de natuur, yoga, meditaties en retraites te volgen, open staan voor spiritualiteit en verbinding. Het ontbijt en het avondmaal buffet is ook lekker en royaal met veel gezonde groente. En ik heb lekker geslapen in de bungalow met zicht op de oceaan. Wakker worden met geluiden van de natuur en de eerste zonnestralen... heerlijk! De buitendouche in de bungalow was ook zalig. De privé les snorkelen met Wan Wan was heel leerrijk. Deze creatieve, mooie ziel heeft me tot in detail alles uitgelegd waardoor ik me veilig heb gevoeld en het snorkelen snel op mezelf kon doen. Iedereen is heel behulpzaam in Alam Kita en de service is goed; mijn taxi werd geregeld, het verhuur van de scooter, mijn boot ticket naar de haven Japura enz. Ik wil graag terug komen naar Alam Kita want de energie is daar heel fijn 😊. Ik heb er mooie momenten beleefd om te koesteren in mijn hart!

A one of its own place in Indonesia for us so far. Developed and run with care, eye for detail and has all you need for visiting an island like Karimunjawa. Great location, good swimming spot and very friendly and caring staff! Margo and her team are amazingly kind people and run it with passion for the place.
