Eco Casa

Innanzitutto grazie a Ester e Stefano per far sentire i loro ospiti come a casa. Tutto il resort è curato nei minimi dettagli ed è concepito nel rispetto dell'ambiente. Tutto lo Staff è gentilissimo e sorridente. I bungalow sono pochi e consentono tanta privacy, sono molto puliti e comodi, tutti a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e immersi in un palmeto spettacolare, presente anche la piscina. Molti servizi sono gratuiti, offrono anche a pagamento varie escursioni, servizi come taxi e noleggio scooter. Infine la cucina è ottima e di grande qualità!

The property is beautiful and the rooms are very clean.

My first piece of advice is: avoid coming in July. My partner and I came here to relax, snorkel and kayak, but the wind made it impossible to enjoy the ocean every single day. The ferry crossing was also a nightmare because of the rough sea. The beach was another big disappointment. Instead of coral and marine life, we found a sandy bottom covered with seaweed. There is no reef directly off the beach, so it's not a good place if you're expecting great snorkeling. There are also only a few old, dirty hammocks on the beach and just four uncomfortable sun loungers by the pool. On our second day, I urgently needed to go to the pharmacy, which is about a 30-minute drive away. We asked if we could rent a scooter just for the trip, but the owner said none were available unless we paid for a full day's rental. We then went to the neighboring hotel, where a local staff member kindly lent us her own scooter for free without even knowing us. That simple act of kindness made us realize how little Eco Casa cared about us as guests. Knowing it was an urgent situation, they could have tried to help us in some way, but instead we felt completely left on our own. The restaurant was by far the worst part of our stay. Every lunch and dinner took between 50 minutes and 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive. One night they completely forgot my partner's meal and only offered him some bread as compensation. On another occasion they forgot our dessert, and on a different day they never brought the snacks we had ordered. The food quality was poor, the menu was very limited, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. Overall, we left extremely disappointed.

Eine wunderschöne kleine ruhige u entspannte Unterkunft mit ca 12 Zimmern direkt am Meer. Traumhaft. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vom Strand aus kann direkt geschnorchelt werden. Bootstouren u Rollervermietungen werden direkt über die Unterkunft unkompliziert angeboten. Auch ein Taxi zur Fähre ist kein Problem. Besonderer Dank gilt aber auch für die schnelle Hilfe als unsere Rückfähre wg schlechtem Wetter storniert wurde. Ohne die Hilfe der beiden Inhaber hätten wir nicht noch wenige Stunden vor Abflug einen Flug zum Festland buchen können.

Struttura ben contestualizzata nell'ambiente, in prossimità della Barakuda beach, una delle spiagge più belle dell'isola, tenuta pulitissima dal personale impegnato a rimuovere i rifiuti in plastica che ogni giorno il mare, gentilmente, ci riconsegna. Sono disponibili diversi e comodi lettini all'ombra di maestose palme. Il personale è sempre disponibile e pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Buono anche il ristorante che offre piatti indonesiani e italiani.

La nostra palafitta, in paglia e in legno, aveva diverse fessure da cui inevitabilmente hanno accesso rettili e insetti (si è immersi nella natura), pertanto mettete in conto di dover condividere con loro l'ambiente. Consiglio l'utilizzo della zanzariera per evitare di essere colpiti dalle deiezioni dei gechi. Durante il nostro soggiorno sono stati bruciati i rifiuti (pratica diffusa in Indonesia) dal personale delle strutture adiacenti e l'odore acre di fumo si è preopagato anche nella nostra camera.

Per noi Casa durante la nostra permanenza a Karimunjava. Resort meraviglioso dal punto di vista strutturale, posizione formidabile in una baietta sabbiosa con colori di mare che non si trovano in nessuna struttura dell’isola. Ottima pulizia delle camere e degli ambienti comuni. Ristorante e bar aperto tutto il giorno con una cucina davvero speciale, internazionale, indonesiana e italiana. La piscina costruita quest anno è stata una piacevole sorpresa e un surplus. Pulita e ben tenuta da Stefano e i suoi ragazzi. La gestione di Ester e Stefano è impeccabile, il loro staff super gentile e disponibile, sempre a disposizione della clientela. Potrete prenotare, motorini, taxi per l’isola, escursioni in barca, massaggi e servizio lavanderia. I costi sono contenuti e i servizi curati gestiti al meglio. La clientela italiana rende il soggiorno piacevole anche per i bambini. Un super abbraccio a Ester, Stefano, Mikia e Ariel che hanno creato questo angolo di Paradiso in un’isola stupenda che speriamo rimanga incontaminata per molto tempo.

Tutto. Posizione defilata, a 30 minuti dalla città. Bungalow all'ombra delle palme e davanti ad una spiaggia da cartolina. I bungalow sono da manuale: legno, iuta, tetto in paglia, ampio bagno, un rilassante terrazzino vista mare. Tutto molto pulito. Cambio lenzuola ed asciugamani ogni due giorni. Piscina nuovissima e suggestiva. Ottima cucina. Prezzi giusti. La disponibilità di Ester e Stefano e di tutto il personale è già stata ampiamente decantata e non posso che confermarla. Tantissimi servizi a disposizione a giusti prezzi. Sono stati cinque giorni bellissimi che ricorderemo per sempre!

Le strade sono molto dissestate per cui bisogna andare pianissimo sia in motorino che in auto.....ma si sa i posti piu belli sono difficili da raggiungere

Struttura e posizione molto bella. Il resort affaccia sul mare, con la sua spiaggia privata e con vista mozzafiato. Il nostro bungalow familiare in cima alla collina era veramente bello, grande e dotato di ogni confort, compreso il balcone con vista. Letto e cuscini comodissimi e dotati di zanzariera. Colazione buona e ristorante ottimo. Piscina bella e ben tenuta.

Il servizio di preordinazione della colazione pranzo e cena e la lentezza nell' esecuzione. Le camere non sono fornite di set di cortesia ne di phon che va richiesto all' occorrenza. Posizione esposta a vento: durante la nostra permanenza era particolarmente elevato.

Tutto! Un posto magnifico, che dopo poche ore viene già da chiamare casa. Cibo superlativo, accoglienza impeccabile. Ester e Stefano sono splendidi, non ci hanno fatto mancare niente: taxi, escursioni, consigli preziosi sulle spiagge da vedere. La spiaggia privata è semplicemente splendida e attrezzata per un comfort assoluto. L’atollo a 10 minuti di barca è un paradiso. Speriamo di tornare presto ad Eco Casa, senz’altro il fiore all’occhiello della nostra vacanza!

Tout était parfait 🤩 L'hôtel est situé au calme avec une magnifique plage et une très belle piscine à débordement. Les petits chalets sont très mignons, bien aménagés et propres. La cuisine du restaurant de l'hôtel est très bonne et le petit déjeuner délicieux 😋 Le personnel est adorable. Ils nous ont organisé une belle sortie snorkeling, une séance de massage. Possibilité de louer des scooters. Bref, un super séjour !

The resort owners were very attentive, and we really loved the newly built pool with a view. Our room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged a scooter rental for us and recommended some great excursions. We were delighted with the food on offer, the Italian dishes were excellent. You could also enjoy great coffee and an afternoon snack. There was a beautiful beach next to the hotel. I highly recommend staying here.

Bellissimo posto, personale super accogliente e attento alle esigenze

Un’oasi di pace in un luogo meraviglioso. Karimunjawa entra nel cuore in pochi minuti ed Eco Casa la rende ancora più magica. Struttura stupenda adatta a famiglie con bambini e coppie. Ester e Stefano ottimi padroni di casa. Il loro staff fantastico, sempre gentile e disponibile per ogni esigenza dell’ospite. Bellissime escursioni offerte, noleggio motorino, lavanderia ed il fantastico taxi boat che ti porta alle isole difronte che sono meraviglioso. Si mangia divinamente, colazione ottima. Camere pulite con amore quotidianamente. Arrivi ad eco casa, togli le scarpe…e la magia inizia. Sono arrivata lì con aspettative alte…ma la realtà supera la fantasia. Accogliente, tutto molto pulito e confortevole. Letto molto comodo, ottima cucina, pesce freschissimo. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. In una bella baia di un’isola rilassante e bellissima

Ci sono molte famiglie con bambini e genitori non sempre educati… l’hotel si trova sulla costa che in agosto e’ un po ventosa con il mare un po più mosso, ma non è stato un problema perché con lo scooter ci si muove facilmente.

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner des notre arrivée à l'eco casa, dans un super bungalow à l'architecture locale surplombant le lieu avec sa piscine et sa plage et son lagon. La literie est confortable,tout est propre,joliment décoré, spacieux(nous étions 4), confortable avec 2 climatiseurs,un mini frigo, des paréos à disposition...rien à redire ! Tout était très propre,un passage chaque jour pour le ménage...nous avons eu la bonne surprise de trouver une piscine fraîchement construite ! L'hôtel propose de nombreuses activités gratuites et payantes, canoë,massage,taxi boat,idéal pour les excursions des îles du Nord est. La nourriture est délicieuse, le petit déjeuner change chaque jour (pre choisi la veille),on trouve de la cuisine locale mais aussi internationale bien utile avec des enfants ! Et pour finir,le plus important ,le service, un personnel attentionné,toujours souriant et disposé à aider. L'hôtel est tenu par un couplé d'italien,qui répond toujours présent ! Bravo à eux pour ce formidable projet, c'est une réussite !

Posto stupendo con un'atmosfera rilassata. La posizione a me è piaciuta perché si trova in un punto tranquillo con mare bellissimo e tante isolette raggiungibili in barca. Casette in legno con balconcino o patio perfetto per il relax. Gestione super attenta, pochi sprechi e grande attenzione per i clienti. Tramite la struttura si possono prenotare taxi boat per raggiungere isolette vicine oppure escursioni di snorkeling,, pesca o anche trekking.

La struttura è molto accogliente così come lo staff. Stefano ed Ester sono gentilissimi e attenti a tutte le esigenze. Anche il loro team locale è sempre gentilissimo. Il bungalow era molto più bello che in foto e anche la vista. È possibile organizzare tour direttamente in loco e mangiare al ristorante della struttura (attenzione anche alle intolleranze/allergie)

Magique !!! Exceptionnel! Un havre de paix pour les amoureux de la tranquillité. On n'oublie le temps et on se laisse bercer par le vent dans les cocotiers et le bruit des vagues Esther, son mari et tout le staff sont exceptionnels. Toujours disponibles et de bons conseils. Le logement est formidable,la propreté irréprochable, la piscine, le prêt des kayaks..tout est parfait. Et pour finir le restaurant est délicieux. Le tout dans une démarche écologique.. Merveilleux, un grand merci 🥰

Très bel emplacement, avec la plage et la possibilité d’utiliser les kayaks pour aller faire du snokerling. Logements très propres et confortables. Bons plats italiens (recettes indonésiennes correctes).

Beaucoup de passages dans l’enceinte de l’établissement, des personnes extérieures se prenant en photos devant les bungalows. Très longue attente pour la restauration. Possibilité de louer des scooters à bon prix mais en assez mauvais état.

Alles was perfect! Zou hier zo weer terug komen. Karimunjawa zelf is ook echt prachtig en indrukwekkend. Nog niet heel toeristisch en dat maakt het leuk. Je kan goed zien hoe de bevolking daar leeft.

Sprookjesachtig mooie plek aan idyllisch strandje. Goed eten al zijn niet alle gerechten even geslaagd. In mooie huisje met altijd uitzicht op zee.

Eten niet altijd genoeg en niet altijd even lekker maar absoluut niet slecht.

Location da cartolina.. appena arrivi ti lasci alle spalle tutto lo stress accumulato durante l'anno. Il resort dispone di un numero limitato di bungalow quindi non è mai troppo affollato. Il personale è cordiale, discreto e soddisfa ogni richiesta. Cucina ottima, prezzi onesti e trovare i veri spaghetti al ragù a 12000 km di distanza da casa non è male, soprattutto quando si hanno bambini piccoli. Esther e Stefano sono super disponibili e ci hanno dato sempre ottimi consigli per vivere a pieno l'isola coi bambini

Vše předčilo naše očekávání. Příjemné prostředí, skvělé jídlo, milý majitelé i personál. Jedno s nejkrásnějších ubytování, které jsme navštívili nejen v Indonésii. Původně jsme chtěli po ostrově podniknout pár výletů, ale nakonec jsme se rozhodli zůstat v Eco Casa a užít si klidné prostředí u moře. Po předchozím cestování to byl úžasný odpočinek a regenerace.

Food, staff, and location all exceptional. Kids loved digging in clean sand, kayaks and a snorkelling day trip. Adults loved the diving (highly recommend Kemunjan Divers). Ticked all the boxes of a tropical family holiday.

Not a negative, but worth checking the seasonal winds if you plan to be on boats with small kids. The nearby island is sheltered and made for a great day snorkelling, so there are options even if the wind picks up.

Environnement exceptionnel. Plage privative magnifique. Les cottages confortables sont très bien situés face à la mer. Le resto varié et très bon. A conseiller !

De locatie was geweldig. Een paradijsje op Karimunjawa en heerlijk eten. Personeel was erg behulpzaam. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en meedenkend.

Soms boek je een resort op basis van reviews en foto's, maar bij Eco Casa werden onze verwachtingen zelfs overtroffen. Een prachtig, sfeervol paradijs waar je helemaal tot rust komt. Het eten was ook erg lekker en een uitgebreide kaart. Dank aan Esther, Stefano en het hele team voor de warme gastvrijheid en geweldige verzorging. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Le gros point fort est la facilité à préparer les activités et autres journées de découverte grâce à l’organisation remarquable des hôtes. Il y a beaucoup d’autres points positifs comme l’emplacement, l’entretien impeccable du lieu, l’esprit eco responsable, la piscine,…

Les points faibles sont difficiles à trouver

Un luogo meraviglioso, curato con amore da Ester, Stefano e tutto lo staff (menzione speciale per Anna). Assolutamente eco-friendly (prodotti da bagno e accappatoi compresi), bungalows curati e accoglienti. Affaccio diretto all'acqua (niente muretti di contenimento o scalini), e possibilità per gli ospiti di utilizzare gratuitamente i kayak (lo staff consiglia gli spot migliori per lo snorkeling). La spiaggia viene pulita quotidianamente (si nota non poco la differenza con quelle limitrofe). Possibilità di noleggiare scooter e organizzare escursioni fuori dalle mete più affollate (notevole quella per lo snorkeling). E si mangia benissimo, anche a colazione. Grazie per averci accolto, per le chiacchierate e l'aiuto quando uno di noi ha avuto un piccolo problema di salute. E un grattino al micio Neve!

We had a fantastic stay at Eco Casa. Everything was perfect. There was a very relaxed atmosphere, only good vibes. Ester and Stefano welcomed us very nicely with lots of explanations. They run the place and the staff very well, which creates a nice atmosphere here.The bungalows are beautiful, all from wood, with a nice balcony. The food is great, the staff very helpful and friendly. We rented a scooter at the hotel and discovered the island and beaches for 4 days. We also used the kayak to do some snorkelling from the hotel beach. Don't hesitate!!!

The only thing I can think of is a small light near the bed for reading in the evening...

Ester e Stefano sono due persone deliziose, sempre gentili e a disponibili x aiutarti in ogni cosa. Cibo e colazione super, location fantastica, pulita e profumata tutto curato nei minimi dettagli,mare stupendo!!! Possibilità di affittare scooter e fare gite!

Meraviglioso angolo di paradiso! I bungalow, la piscina e il ristorante regalano una vista sul mare semplicemente da sogno. La cucina è eccellente e il servizio è sempre attento e gentile. Lo staff organizza con grande disponibilità splendide escursioni in barca, oltre al noleggio di scooter e dell'attrezzatura per lo snorkeling, rendendo il soggiorno semplice e senza pensieri. Un grazie speciale ad Anna, Esther e Stefano per l'accoglienza e la gentilezza. Torneremo sicuramente a trovarvi!

Prachtige locatie met de palmbomen en het mooie strand. We hadden de dubbele villa direct aan het strand. Alles is zeer schoon en goed onderhouden. De eigenaren en personeel zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam (Ester en Anna zijn geweldig). Het Italiaanse eten was erg lekker. We hebben een relaxed en fijn verblijf gehad.

Het Indonesische eten mocht voor ons iets meer gekruid zijn.

The location is perfect to enjoy sunrise, food is great, room is wonderful, staffs are very nice and helpful. Enjoyed kayaking on their private beach. Overall 10/10.

Sehr schöne Anlage an einem türkisen Traumstrand. Außergewöhnliche nette und persönliche Betreuung. Bungalows sind geräumig mit einem sauberen und hochwertigen Badezimmer. Möglichkeit zur Buchung aller möglichen Aktivitäten. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!

Die Klimaanlage ist in der Wirkung eingeschränkt, da die Bungalows nicht dicht sind und so sicher einiges an Energie verschwendet wird. Portionen im Restaurant (zumindest bei der Pasta) sind eher übersichtlich.

De locatie was echt prachtig, alles wat je verwacht van een verblijf op een bounty eiland. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, alles is heerlijk ruim opgezet, het eten is goed, echt aan alles is gedacht.

Dat er heel veel influencers komen, die continue bezig zijn met content maken en ongevraagd ook jou dus meenemen in hun beelden waardoor je dus niet geheel ongestoord kunt genieten van dit prachtige resort.

Petit paradis sur le bout de l’île! La plage est magnifique et excentrée du village mais se suffit largement à elle même. Le resto et le personnel sont super. Je recommande !

Prachtige huisjes, op en top verzorgd en super schoon. Prachtige plek. Lekker zelf erop uit met de kayak naar ander idyllisch eilandje en snorkelen in de buurt al prachtig.

Wat minder waren de harde stoelen/banken in het restaurant/terras gedeelte. Die waren overigens wel heel mooi, maar nodigden niet uit om lekker te blijven zitten na het eten.

The absolute best hotel in Karimunjawa! We spent four nights at Eco Casa and it was easily the highlight of our trip. The boutique hotel setting is simply fabulous—the bungalows are beautifully designed and sit right on a peaceful, quiet beach. It’s a fantastic spot for families with kids, offering a level of calm you won't find elsewhere. The Italian owners and their entire team are professional, super friendly, and incredibly helpful. While the property is located away from the main village "hub," it honestly didn't matter because there isn’t much to do in town anyway. We spent our time making the most of the ocean; the team organized a spectacular full-day snorkeling excursion for us, and we loved that kayaks are free to use whenever you want. We took them out to explore the island directly across from the hotel, which was a major highlight.

Séjour parfait à EcoCasa ! Les propriétaires et le personnel sont adorables, le lieu est magique, le service impeccable et le restaurant excellent. Un conseil : restez suffisamment longtemps pour vraiment profiter de cet endroit hors du temps.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Eco Casa sehr genossen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt mit privaten Strand mit Meerblick. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat einen guten mix aus lokaler Küche und italienischen Gerichten.

Das einzige was wir vermisst haben sind Handtücher, es wurden lediglich Kimonos bereit gestellt Ersatz.

March 2026 We booked a wooden house for 3 nights there. Only regret is that I wish we could have stay more! The resort is owned by an Italian family who created a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere in Karimunjawa. ACCESS : the resort is lost in luxurious nature with a private beach. Perfect for those looking for calm, relaxation and connection to nature. It took approximately 40 minutes to arrive there from the harbour with a driver from the resort picking us up. The price was 250k. Once you're there, you can rent a motorbike for 75k a day. I did my first long motorbike ride in there!! Core memory :) ATMOSPHERE : if you're looking for relaxation, calm, silence and chill vibes, this is the place for you. The room are cosy, not too big, not too small. From memory I would say that they have two family house (two rooms) and 10+ for duo. The beach is beautiful, peaceful. FOOD : we tried the following dishes that can be seen on the pictures attached : bruschette, tempeh mendoan, nasi goreng, ikan kakatoa, pindang serani and tuna pasta. My go-to recommendations would be the Ikan Kakatoa and the pindang serani soup. Delicious! Breakfast is served between 7 and 9, althought they were flexible. We once woke up quite late (10:30) and were able to benefit from the breakfast anyway. ACTIVITIES : the resort has a few canoes that are free of use for the guests. We used it everyday to explore the surroundings and do some snorkeling. You can rent snorkeling gear for 30k a day. They offer different tour (snorkelling, island hopping, hikking etc.) for which you can find the details on the pictures attached. You can also find some books, cards and domino in site. The only thing missing would be a pool and - surprise - one should be available from May onwards. Hope we can come back to see that!

Prachtige locatie , erg leuke huisjes knus ingericht. Ontbijt was goed , je kon elke dag wat anders kiezen. S’avonds kon je heerlijk eten. Erg lief personeel en Esther de eigenaresse was erg behulpzaam. Je kan gratis gebruik maken van de kano’s wat ook erg leuk is.. De dag tripjes die de accomodaties aanbood waren de moeite waard.. taxi boot naar een onbewoond eiland was super! Ook de snorkeltrip en lunch op een onbewoond eiland waren geweldig… prachtig koraal met eveneens geweldig mooie vissen. De tour over het eiland is niet echt bijzonder omdat er niet veel te zien is.. de omgeving is armoedig en vreselijk veel afval overal.

Het ontbijt is van 7 tot 9.. was voor ons wat te vroeg 😅

From the moment we arrived until our departure, our stay was a dream. Water and the Team made us feel part of the family - nothing was too much trouble. Snorkelling, the location, the food (OMG!) -it was all brilliant. Thanks again for a magical stay!

Tout a été parfait. Le personnel est charmant et toujours prêt à aider. L'hôtel est vraiment agréable, calme, et très bien situé pour faire de la plongée au centre Padi tout près. Le restaurant est vraiment excellent.

Our room was nice and comfortable, with a beautiful beach- and seaview. Staff has been particularly kind and helpful. The food was amazing and fairly priced. As a whole, we've had wonderful days at Eco Casa. And the hotel is conveniently placed close to Karimunjawa Padi diving center.
