Noise from bars till 4am, no reception area, very little human interaction.. This is not a boutique hotel felt more like Airbnb

Our room in the hotel was beautiful. We had the honeymoon suite (though not on honeymoon). The facilities were excellent - more than we could use in our one night stopover. The brunch and cocktail bar linked to the hotel was incredible - very busy for breakfast/brunch so go early if you don't want to queue. The breakfast was lovely and there was a vegan option for me. The location was perfect - only a short walk to the ferry terminals. Right in the heart of the old town but still on a less busy street.

The steps up to the room were very steep. The host helped us with our bags but it might not suit everyone. The street was noisy with music until about 3am but as long as we had the windows closed it did not effect us.

Un Golf Kart verrà a prendervi, caricherà voi e i vostri bagagli e vi accompagnerà comodamente alla prima stazione taxi situata al di fuori delle mura della città vecchia.

Amazing location! Fantastic and peaceful rooftop and excellent decor throughout!

Slightly bizarre check in service in the restaurant, some details throughout the room were a bit shabby (toilet roll holder fell off the wall, shampoo holder fell off the wall), rooftop rubbish was overflowing and wasn’t emptied.

Это лучший отель в старом городе, в котором мы останавливались. На 100 процентов оправдывает свое название. Очень красивая необычная обстановка, великолепное белье, халаты, косметика. Брали номер на троих, но заселили нас в двухкомнатный номер, наверное повезло просто. Внизу есть прекрасное кафе. Там работают очень доброжелательные сотрудники.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt.

Ich war nur eine Nacht dort. Dank der zentralen Lage am Hafen sind viele tolle Restaurants bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das hoteleigene Café/Bistro ist ein echtes Highlight – optisch wie kulinarisch. Der organisierte Transfer, das sehr freundliche Personal und die sauberen Zimmer haben den Aufenthalt angenehm gemacht. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage muss man allerdings mit Musik bis in die frühen Morgenstunden rechnen.

Great location - in the old town center, yet quiet and also walking distance to the ferry tourist port. Overall nice property and service, the rooftop and breakfast (not included) are also noteworthy.

All was nice. In the bathroom the shower doesn't have a door, so it can get wet easily.

El estilo decorativo de la casa hará que te sientas en otro tiempo. La cafeteria del hotel es preciosa y tanto los empleaos como los dueños del hotel son encantadores. El hotel tiene una terraza con vistas y mobiliario otomano que te transportará mientras admiras las estrellas. Rodas es una ciudad bellisima convertida de dia en un mercadillo para turistas y en una zona de copas y marcha nocturna por la noche. En el hotel se disfruta de la tranquilidad que Rodas ya no conserva.

Very noisy aircon, the room was an average hotel room but certainly not a “honeymoon suite” as it was described. The listings made a fuss about having a view, but that meant just a window onto the street.

Everything! The owner and his team were exceptional. Room was amazing, location superb. Right in the heart of the old town, but very quiet at night. Amazing rooftop as well. I have travelled a lot and stayed in some great places and this is up there as one of my top 10. Definitely check in here if you are planning a visit to rhodes and include this at the start for a few days so you can soak up the old town and easy to get boats to symi.

The building has a lot of character and charm, but as it is an older property, some aspects did not suit us particularly well. The room felt a bit stuffy, with several lamps hanging above the bed. Our window overlooked a shared courtyard, and there was noticeable noise from other guests during the night. The doors are also quite heavy, which made opening and closing them rather noisy. Guests who are sensitive to noise may wish to take this into consideration.

Morgenmad var en smagesoplevelse, køkken er åben og en fornøjelse at følge med køkkenpersonale. Personale generelt var fantastisk, respektfuld med hindanden og gæster. Vores familieværelse var absolut magisk indrettet og blev daglig godt rengjort af en sød rengøringsdame. Og tag-terrassen er charmerende og blev daglig brugt af hele familien.

This hotel is just a three-minute walk from the gate into the Old Town. The moment you arrive, the staff welcome you into their beautiful restaurant and greet you with their homemade iced tea, which immediately sets the tone for your stay. The rooms are just around the corner and were absolutely immaculate, with everything you could possibly need during your stay. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace, which offers an array of different seating and lounging areas, creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere above the city. The brunch is an absolute must, and although you are right in the heart of the Old Town, the rooms themselves are situated in a remarkably quiet part of the city. Having stayed here, we genuinely would not stay anywhere else.

However the room was really really small. The shower was leaking. The whole bathroom was under water, the handle in the shower was also broken. But staff in the bistro was very friendly. For this price we expected a little more. But thank you

buona l'accoglienza e la professionalità dello staff (non c'è una reception, si fa il check-in al bar); molto buona la posizione in pieno centro storico ma senza avvertire la calca delle strade principali. Decisamente carina la terrazza sul tetto.

L'hotel ha un nome inutilmente pretenzioso che in realtà nasconde una pensioncina. Capisco che adattare a struttura ricettiva un edificio nel centro storico di Rodi non sia un'impresa facile. Però non mi sembra corretto promuoversi come se fosse un gioiello per pochi. Stanza minuscola, porta del bagno solo decorativa senza alcuna privacy, lavandino che vorrebbe essere di design ma è soltanto scomodo anche solo per lavarsi i denti, senso di pulizia discutibile. Peccato, forse la delusione deriva soltanto dalle aspettative troppo alte che si creano con un marketing sbagliato

A beautiful hotel the owners were so friendly and the staff so warm and attentive but professional. Nothing was too much trouble from check in to leaving , will definitely be back .

Sadece oteli bulması biraz zor ara sokakta kalıyor ve hiçbir tabelası yok konum olarak oldtownın tam göbeğinde 1 dakikadan az yürüme mesafesinde yürüyerek her yere çok rahat ulaşabilirsiniz her yer pub bar restorant merkezi konum olarak mükemmel ötesinde biz kış ayında kaldığımız için fiyat da çok uygundu gece oteli bulamadığımız için otel sahipleridik ve bize gelip yardımcı oldu çok yardımsever ve güler yüzlü biriydi çok teşekkür ederiz

Tolle Lage. Perfekter Service. Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Gepäck wurde super nett für eine Woche während unserer Radrundfahrt deponiert. Großartiges Frühstücksangebot im angeschlossenen Café.

Tolle Lage mitten in der Altstadt, aber trotzdem ruhig in einer Nebengasse, freundliches kleines, aber praktisches Zimmer, toller Stil. Die Dachterasse war zum ruhen zwischen den Sight Seeing Punkten am Morgen und am Abend ein sehr angenehmer Ort mit tollem mediterran-osmanischem Flair. Alle Restaurants, Bars, Geschäfte, Museen sind sehr nah fußläufig. Die Bettwäsche war von außerordentlich hoher Qualität, (nicht diese Standart gestärkten weißen Tücher) sodass ich besonders gut geschlafen habe. Das Frühstück hatte den besten Kaffee unserer Urlaubswoche und es war wirklich feines Essen, sehr zu empfehlen! Die Reinigungskraft war unglaublich nett!!

Es war schade, dass man das Frühstück nicht auf der Dachterasse einnehmen konnte, sondern im Schatten in der Gasse vor dem Bistro.

It was a perfect stay located right in the heart of the Old Town. Just 100 m away from Hippocrates Square. It is clear that owners and operators have high aesthetic taste, bcs all the details in the rooms and the restroom have been elegantly designed and also ergonomic. But I especially want to emphasize that the hotel's bistro and cafe are superb. Boyfriend and I looked so much around the Old Town for having breakfast but every day we ended up back Decan Bistro again. They have the best breakfasts and coffees in the Old Town!

This is our second time at Decan Hotel and we got the fabulous experience we expected. Our hosts are wonderful and beyond helpful. All staff are courteous and their service is great. Breakfast is amazing, as always, both very tasty and beautifully presented. Beds are comfortable, the mattress is just the right balance of soft and hard. Rooms are well appointed and the details, such as wood carvings, oriental lamps, bathroom tiles and faucets, are all carefully selected and look lovely. There is a large rooftop terrace with marvelous views and cushy sofas, accessible only to hotel guests.

We stayed twice, the first room we stayed in was small, but the second time the room was much better.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, just up a side street from Hippocrates Square. A refreshing iced tea to welcome us. The room was beautiful and what can I say about the bed?? It just gives you a hug. Best night's sleep for ages!!

Incredible roof terrace with beautiful views of the Old Town. Air con in room was superb. Breakfast is a must in the bistro...it was insanely good. Try the Turkish eggs! Location was fantastic. You're right in the heart of everything but still very quiet at night. We weren't disturbed by noise.

Another guest had put the deadlock on the main door to the hotel so when we returned to our room late at night we couldn't get in. The hotel isn't staffed overnight but responded to our phone call straight away and came to let us in. Maybe they need a little sign on the door to tell guests not to put the deadlock on. The bistro and bar shut at 4pm on the night we were there which was a shame because we'd have loved to have enjoyed a drink up on their beautiful rooftop. Other than that minor issue everything was incredible and we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, very nicely done. Extremely quiet and well insulated, which was surprising given being so central in old town. The bed was VERY comfy.
