The breakfast was very satisfactory. We are vegans and Dion, the chef, went out of his way to ensure that we had enough to eat. Our waiter Mathews was obliging and understanding.

Vegan options should be more readily available at all times. A light above the bath was defective. Apart from that, special appreciation to Dion and Mathews as well as to the really friendly staff throughoutl.

The location is right behind a mall, which is very convenient when you have kids The staff is always friendly and willing to assist with anything you may need assistance with. Breakfast was excellent, with enough variety for my very picky kids.

The absence of elevators means you have to pull all your luggage up the stairs. The taps in the bathroom need a little updating, especially on the bathtub.

Flooring in room. No carpets, so it doesnt have that stuffy smell. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds.

It was a place to rest my head. The food was also good, had lots of variety for breakfast. The disabled room was large and spacious, and I appreciated that it had all the necessary accommodations for a person in that physical state.

Very outdated place. Straight off the bat, the door is hard to open and close. I was travelling with a disabled person and the door was super heavy and stiff. There wasn't always someone at the door to assist and I couldn't simultaneously hold the door while pushing someone on a wheelchair. Overall decor and aesthetic was just bad. The outside is beautiful, but thats it. You can tell carpets had permanent stains, seats looked dirty because of wear and tear. Everything was in need of a deep clean and a very big update. An interior designer would make a huge difference. For the price, it felt cheap and was unattractive. I personally felt like I wasted money because it gave budget lodge, not premium hotel. I was a little embarrassed because I was trying to spoil my family. Compared to other branches, this might be the worst looking one. The place was an eye sore, but if you look past that, its okay. For the price, i expected something more sophisticated.

The treatment from the staff. I paid breakfast for my son and his aunt when they got yo the dining area the staff did not want to assist them saying that I have not paid and it was traumatic for my son as I was not there at that moment. My son had to call me crying the staff did not even bother to call until I asked my son to give them the phone. Service very poor. That's not all we always use that southern sun in Bloemfontein this time around when we borrowed cutlery we were refused while we booked there.

The property us centrally located to most amenities which fulfils the great need and satisfaction to the tourist.

They have VERY OLD television sets. My room was 405 and they do not have a smart TV in there.

The staff where very unhelpful, they refused to assist with early morning breakfast for our swimmers. Breakfast is only served at 7 and we asked if they could please assist for 6:30.Unwilling to help and refused on numerous occasions even after pleading with them. We had to go across the road to steers for breakfast and Breakfast was included in our booking. Then they tried to charge us extra at the check out for breakfasts that were never had. The rooms was very uncomfortable and tight. They are very dated. Our light switches kept falling off the wall. Our phone in our room never worked. It has a bath shower which is very difficult to Stand under. The room was only serviced at 3pm in the afternoon. I highly do not recommend this hotel.

The room was fantastic and the outside garden by the pool was very nice.

The waiters are not very attentive. For dinner, I had to find a waiter to come serve us and during breakfast, also had to go look for someone to place our coffee order.

Unfortunately nothing. Very disappointed. Not worth R2000 a night at all. Felt like a 2 star hotel.

Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing and far below what is expected from a Southern Sun hotel, especially at R2,000 per night. The hotel was very noisy, the rooms were dusty and poorly maintained, and the bathroom was not functional — the toilet would not flush. The sliding door felt unsafe and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Even the gym area appeared cluttered with cleaning equipment, which felt unprofessional and poorly managed. We were moved to another room, but the noise issue remained. The king-size rooms were not in a condition suitable for use, and we ended up in a room with two double beds instead. The experience was so uncomfortable that we did not even sleep in the bed. This hotel does not reflect the standards or quality associated with the Southern Sun brand and is definitely not worth the price paid. We chose this hotel over cheaper and better-reviewed options purely because of the brand name, which made the experience even more disappointing.

We felt like away from the city, although the place is at the heart of 2 big roads. Perfect place to rest and dive in the pool during our journey.

There's a lot of walking on the endless corridors to get to our room or to the mall.

The location was perfect, the staff was friendly, the swimming pool was very clean. The breakfast was amazing 👏 🤩.

There rooms were cramped and the gym didn't have water in the dispenser. And someone tried to break into my car, even though I was parked next to the security station
