The bedsheet was torn and the towels were worn out. Should replace the bedsheet and towels, clean but really worn out, holes in towels and bedsheet.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025The bed was very comfortable but the room was very dated it died seriously need some money spending on the place. We had booked a deluxe room which I think meant we got a fridge included and had asked for a ground floor room as we had big cases and we knew there wasn't a lift. The guy put us in room 101 which is right at the front of the hotel and under the window is a bench where the locals all sit and chat..which was absolutely fabulous at 1am when we were trying to sleep!! The windows are paper thin and there are just planks of wood at each end which you can see daylight through so no wonder we could hear everything!! The breakfast was toast, butter and jam, fruit, nasi lemak or some crackers..we had toast which was nice with a hot cup of tea. When we went back to our room the bathroom had a horrible smell of urine though which wasn't there before we went so maybe there is a problem with the drains..not sure. We were asked if we slept ok and told the man about the noise but it was just kind of shrugged off to be honest. I think if you avoided room 101 then the experience would be a lot different as the place has a nice feel to it and is quite easy to find with parking right outside.
Noise from outside..windows need replacing.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025Semerah Garden Hotel offers a peaceful retreat just 2 km from Pontian Kechil town. The secure, private parking within the hotel compound was a standout feature—very reassuring. You're also conveniently close to a grocery store, a coin laundry, and a restaurant next door. The family room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, and a private bathroom with free toiletries.
One consideration: the hotel doesn't have a lift. Fortunately, our family room was located on the ground floor, making it easily accessible.

This time, the room I was given was too noisy. There was a baby crying in the room next door at midnight, and I could hear people plugging and unplugging things right behind my bed, separated by only one wall

Reviewed Jul 14, 2025we booked a beautiful family room that includes a king size bed, a single bed, tv, small fridge, free tea, coffee, mineral water, complete with an iron, iron board, hair dryer, towels and complete furniture. Breakfast was simple and delicious! Staff are also very friendly! Definitely a great place to stay! Thank you so much for a great service!
