Suku Lifestyle Hotel & Villas

This was our third time staying at Suku Lifestyle Hotel and Villas. We have stayed once in the hotel rooms and twice in the pool villas. The staff are always exceptional, nothing is too much trouble for them. There was a great variety for breakfast, superb coffees at the cafe and tasty food in the restaurant. We love the pool villas, because everything has been carefully thought out. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the range of products they provided in the bathroom and sinks. The villa bedroom was nice and quiet, there was no sound from the road or the mosques. Thank you, once again, for an exceptional stay which helped create many happy memories for us.

The shortcut to the beach takes 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes. But if you are a solo female I would not recommend the shortcut! The drivers the hotel arranged were not so great (one hit a dog :-( and didn’t stop) the other took me to his mate to buy the ferry tickets which was far more expensive than buying direct from the ferry.

El hotel es un paraíso de relax. La habitación y la cama súper cómoda, el personal encantador y la comida muy buena. El desayuno también excelente. Se va a la mejor playa de lombok andando en 5 min. Uno de los mejores hoteles en los que nos hemos alojado.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön designt und liegt 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom wunderschönen Strand entfernt. Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten und hatte eine kleine Terrasse vor dem Eingang. Im Restaurant kann man gut essen. Ansonsten sind aber auch viele andere Restaurants fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Suku Lifestyle sehr gut gefallen!

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel, das in vielerlei Hinsicht begeistert. Besonders der Villa-Bereich ist wunderschön gestaltet: geschmackvoll, minimalistisch und mit einer klaren, fast Bauhaus-inspirierten Ästhetik inkl. eigenem großzügigen Pool. Alles wirkt durchdacht, hochwertig und zugleich angenehm einladend. Was dieses Hotel aber wirklich besonders macht, ist der außergewöhnliche Service. Die Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Herzlichkeit des gesamten Personals sind bemerkenswert und gehen weit über das Übliche hinaus. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und rundum bestens umsorgt. Ein Ort mit besonderem Design, wunderbarer Atmosphäre und einem Service, der seinesgleichen sucht. Absolute Empfehlung!

La villa avec piscine est une très belle prestation hotelière, très confortable avec tout l'aménagement necessaire. La restauration est très bonne même si on aurait souhaité une carte un peu plus variée (quand on reste plusieurs nuitées). La belle plage est accessible par un chemin à pied en 5mn. Le personnel est professionnel et serviable.

Très bel établissement au personnel serviable et souriant. Déco simple et raffinée. Une jolie piscine, un bon restaurant et un accès rapide à pied à une des plus belles plages de coin.

I loved everything about Suku. It felt like a little home away from home. Staff were so kind and made me feel so welcome. Rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Pool is lovely. Location is fantastic, with the beach a 5 minute walk along a path through the bush. I will definitely come back here to stay.

Dit was het netste verblijf van onze ganse reis. De prijs is iets duurder dan andere maar het is het waard! Heel mooi, heerlijk eten en heerlijk ontbijt, op wandelafstand van het mooiste strand van Lombok en heel lief personeel! Waauw!

Très bon emplacement à quelques minutes à pied de la plage de Selong Belanak.

Très bel hôtel avec un restaurant délicieux. Le personnel au petit soin. Seul petit bémol, chambre pas très bien insonorisée ( on entend les voisins) et le bruit de la route.

Wij verbleven in het villa gedeelte. Dit was echt prachtig! Een hele ruime kamer, met voldoende privacy. De mensen die hier werken zijn erg vriendelijk en staan altijd voor je klaar. Het strand is vlakbij, waar je gave surflessen kan nemen. Ook zijn er leuke restaurantjes op loopafstand te vinden. Daarnaast kan je ook heerlijk eten bij Suku bestellen! Wij vonden het een hele fijne ervaring.

Staying at SUKU feels like coming home! The staff is so sweet and friendly. When you step in your room it’s so cozy. They put flowers on your bed and your bathroom. The room is perfect and all you need is there. We love the food, coffee and smoothies at SUKU. Enak sekali! The best!!!! It is for us the second time here, if we go back to Selong Belanak definitely will stay here! Those 5 nights flown by!

La gentillesse, l’efficacité, la disponibilité et le professionnalisme du personnel ! La grande qualité de la restauration : les petits déjeuners et les repas ont été nos meilleurs en Indonésie (Java, Bali et Lombok). La proximité et l’accès rapide à une plage superbe. Les facilités pour obtenir un taxi et louer un scooter.

Le seul vrai problème sont les salles de bains qui ne sont pas isolées de celles de nos voisins de chambre car on entend absolument TOUT. Par ailleurs en 6 jours, les sols de notre chambre n’ont pas été nettoyés. Pour un établissement à ce prix, c’est rédhibitoire.

Super schöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten die Villa mit privatem Pool. Die Villa war die größte während unserer Rundreise auf Bali und Lombok. Super schön und großer Pool. Aber auch der gemeinschaftliche Pool im Bereich der Standard Zimmer ist super schön.

Das Essen war okay, Frühstück eher gut, Abendessen war nicht so unser Fall. Wir sind dann lieber auswärts essen gegangen. Das ist aber wahrscheinlich Geschmacksache. Es war auf keinen Fall schlecht!

Proche de la très belle plage de selang Belle piscine et chambre propre

Très bruyant, on dort sur la route où il y a de la circulation. Très sonore aussi entre les chambres Hôtel cher pour la prestation globale C est un détail, mais ils ont facturé une demande de complément de poulet dans le nasi gorent et demande des extras pour toute demande complémentaire. Vu le prix de l hôtel, c est moyen et je n ai pas vu dans tous les hôtels fait entre Bali, gili, flores et Lombok

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Suku Lifestyle. De kamers zijn prachtig, schoon en stijlvol ingericht. Het zwembad is heerlijk om in te ontspannen en de sfeer in het hele resort is erg rustig. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en staat altijd klaar om te helpen. Ook het eten was uitstekend; alles wat we hebben gegeten was vers en erg lekker. Daarnaast ligt er op slechts een paar minuten lopen een prachtig strand. We zouden hier zonder twijfel weer verblijven!

Het is echt heel goed en knus ik miste alleen wat praktische zaken zoals een föhn, waterkoker met koffie/ thee en evt. een tv. Het is er verder echt heel goed hoor! Super schoon, lief personeel, bijzonder goed eten. Kamer gelijk aan het zwembad erg leuk! 8 min lopen via sluiproute naar het gezellige strand. Laat je niet afschrikken door de donkere weg richting het centrum. lampje van telefoon aan en een paar minuten naar het centrum waar s’avonds toch echt wat leuke restaurantjes zitten waaronder kembala klub en pronto.

We stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights with my daughter, her husband and 5 week old baby. Their first trip away from home since the birth and we were looked after so well. The staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful. The establishment very comfortable and location ideal for a short walk down to the beach. Thankyou Suku, we have amazing memories. We are looking forward to seeing you again in September as a treat before my flight home to England.

The bed, linen, room in general including the bathroom are great. The pool is good too. Staff service was great.

The restaurant isn’t bad however it needs a little improvement. Perhaps the menu could be more modern. Some staff may need English language training. Also, at night I saw small mice in the bar area’s ground near the baking trays and a bigger one (perhaps a rat) climbing out the bar’s wall.

The staff were amazing with a great onsite kitchen supplying breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The property is very pretty with a lovely pool at the center which all the rooms face. The room was very nice, very comfortable with nice decor. The beautiful beach is. Five minute walk down an off road path opposite to the hotel. Nice menu choices for breakfast. The stuff re lovely.

As other reviewers mentioned, since the rooms are all in a single block, the open air bathrooms are all lined up so privacy is at a minimum. (There are walls of course but no or partial roofs) so you can hear everything your neighbor is doing (and vv.) which can be a bit awkward.

Świetny mały hotel butikowy, blisko plaży. Bardzo pomocna i przemiła obsługa. Pyszne jedzenie, świeże i dobrze podane. Idealne miejsce na reset i wypoczynek na lombok.

Wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl gefühlt im Suku. Die Zimmer waren super, das Personal unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut. Zum Strand sind es ca 5 Minuten zu Fuß.

Die gesamte Unterkunft ist unglaublich stimmig gestaltet – von den schönen Farben und dem Design bis hin zur entspannten Atmosphäre. 🤍 Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal: außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Der Service war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts hervorragend und hat unseren Urlaub noch schöner gemacht. Alles war stets sehr sauber, das Essen war hervorragend und der gesamte Vibe des Hotels einfach perfekt zum Entspannen. Auch der Wäscheservice war klasse – günstig, schnell und die Wäsche kam frisch zurück und hat unglaublich gut gerochen. Der wunderschöne Strand ist in nur etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und bietet fantastische Bedingungen zum Surfen. Praktisch ist auch, dass man direkt am Strand unkompliziert und günstig Surfbretter ausleihen kann. Die Lage ist somit ideal, um sowohl die Ruhe des Hotels als auch das Strandleben zu genießen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel von Herzen weiterempfehlen! ✨🌴🤍

Topp-Unterkunft! Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Alles sehr wertig, die Einrichtung, der Pool, die wunderschönen Pflegemiitel im Bad für Hände, Haare & Dusche der bekannten balinesischen Marke Sensatia Skincare. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Die Nähe zum Strand Selong Belanak, erreichbar fußläufig in 5 min über einen kleinen Pfad. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Very nice energy with a friendly team, great pool and clean room. Also a great breakfast and thoughtful service.

The rooms are in a line with the bathrooms on the back. The walls of the bathroom don’t reach the roof and due to that design you can clearly hear your neighbours. Also breakfast and coffee doesn’t start until 8am however, for our early checkout they prepared a take away oats and fruit for us which was really kind.

Nice and clean rooms, rooms are in front of nice pool hotel is right next to selong belanak beach which is amazing. Close enough to village and only 30 minutes by motorcycle to kuta.

The bath towels are rough. We asked for one extra coffee (to share) in the breakfast and they charged us for it, at the other hotels, they never charged us; they always offered it as a courtesy. One of the coffees was extremely weak and cold, and we didn’t complain because we thought it would be complimentary.

Wir waren eine Nacht in einem Doppelzimmer, da wir unseren Aufenthalt relativ spontan eine Nacht nach vorne verschoben haben. Die Doppelzimmer sind toll, man hört nichts von den Nachbarn (obwohl dort ein 1 jähriges Kind war), haben ausreichend Platz und eine Klimaanlage. Aber keinen Kühlschrank oder Fön. Dann sind wir in unsere Villa umgezogen. Diese ist außergewöhnlich! Man hat richtig viel Platz, absolute Ruhe, der Bereich kann von niemanden von außen eingesehen werden. Die Villa hat einen eigenen Pool, Kühlschrank, Trinkwasserspender, Fön. Wir haben die Villa sehr genossen! Eine Außendusche am Pool war das einzige was ich vermisst habe. Wir hätten auch Frühstück, Lunch und Abendessen in die Villa geliefert bekommen, wenn wir das gewollt hätten. Wir sind dafür aber lieber in den normalen Hotelbereich gegangen. Insgesamt war das Personal vom Suku außergewöhnlich gut gelaunt, hilfsbereit und dabei aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben sowohl unseren Flughafentransfer als auch Surfstunden über das Suku organisiert. Das ist auch sehr empfehlenswert, da die Preise für beides absolut fair sind (beim surfen hatten wir sogar einen Preisvorteil gegenüber „walk-in“ Kunden) und man erspart sich den Stress vor Ort das beste Angebot rausfischen zu müssen. Außerdem hat das Hotel 3 Roller in drei unterschiedlichen Motorisierungen (schwach, mittel, stark), die zu üblichen Preisen ausgeliehen werden können. Es gibt einen Trampelpfad zum Meer und dort kann man wenn man etwas Abwechslung sucht ebenfalls gut essen.

Absolut perfekt! Wir würden das Suku jedem für einen Aufenthalt in Lombok empfehlen!

The staff were amazing - especially Ali (if I remembered his name correctly). The bed was super comfortable, and the hotel was clean (though there’s no TV). It has a relaxed pool vibe, and overall it’s great value for money. Location-wise, it’s just 5 minutes from Selong Belanak Beach, making it very convenient for surfing.

The pool was quite cloudy and needed cleaning. Aside from its proximity to Selong Belanak Beach, the hotel is fairly secluded from the main area, making it inconvenient to get around without a bike or scooter, as Grab services are not available nearby

Skvělé prostředí, villa byla nádherná a čistá. Servis neměl chybu, a personál byl neskutečně milý. Doporučuji, si připlatit za vilu. Pláž byla blízko krásná čista a skvělá na surf.

Staying here was a delight! The front desk staff, restaurant, and cleaning team were exceptionally friendly, warm, helpful and polite. Check in process was excellent, we were greeted with a refreshing drink and smiles. The room was very clean, despite it being near the beach there was no sand yucky-feeling on the floor. Bed was extremely comfortable, room had black-out curtains. Even the outdoor shower was beautiful, it smelt like vanilla and sandalwood— didn’t experience any weird drainage smells like some other reviews. The shampoo/bath soap/conditioner provided was very good quality and smelt amazing + sufficient clean towels/beach towels available. Free breakfast offered was so good— very vegan friendly, the staffs are knowledgeable on plant-based requirements. Quiet, relaxing, peaceful, one of my best stays in Indonesia so far. Would definitely come back again!

The staff were soooo great, everyone we met was so helpful and friendly and kind. The breakfast was lovely, the pancakes are amazing and we will miss them! Good coffees too. The rooms and pools were lovely. The staff clean the rooms every day if you need them to, fresh towels etc. Room service was fantastic!

The drains smelt in our bathroom, not all the time but most days. We told the staff and they provided us with some air fresheners which helped! WiFi a little bit temperamental. It didn’t reach to our room but we told them staff this and they straight away supplied us with a booster.

Our stay at SUKU Lifestyle Hotel & Resto was absolutely amazing and one of the best experiences during our trip around Indonesia. Right from arrival, we appreciated the welcome drink and the refreshing cold towel – a very nice touch after traveling. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in a private room with our own pool (5 Lima), which provided perfect privacy and a peaceful atmosphere – ideal for relaxation. We especially enjoyed having breakfast served directly in our room, which made the stay even more comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well prepared. During our entire trip in Indonesia, this was the first place where we truly had a great night’s sleep. Schöne Unterkunft mit leckerem Essen, schönem Pool und sehr, sehr nettem Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es war alles super. Ein Bild an der Wand oder bisschen Deko im Zimmer hätte es etwas gemütlicher gemacht.

Piękny, wygodny pokój, bardzo czysty. Wygodne łóżko i dobre WiFi. Basen i cała przestrzeń wokół jest super zadbana, małe elementy typu kadzidełka do śniadania tworzą klimat. Ale największy wpływ na atmosferę mają pracownicy, którzy są bardzo mili i ciągle uśmiechnięci. Śniadania, które są w cenie są przepyszne, jest duży wybór. Kawa, którą serwują w suku jest jedna z moich ulubionych. Super opcja jest również możliwość zamówienia obiadu oraz kolacji, w uczciwych cenach. Na pewno potrzebny jest wynajem skutera, grab i gojek nie działają w tej okolicy.
