Bathroom amenities supplied are the bare minimum. Two people booked into the room however only 1 small bottle of water supplied. There was a music festival happening next door which resulted in excessively load music until 12:30am. We were in town to run the marathon therefore only getting a few hours of sleep was not what should happen before a marathon. Maybe management should have let us know about this festival on booking, giving us the opportunity to decide if we wanted to book elsewhere.

Instead, we endured loud music throughout the day and night, leaving all of us unable to sleep. Despite my correspondence with Babalewa before our arrival, during which I explained the reason for our visit, we were never informed that an event would be taking place at the neighbouring property. Had we been warned about the anticipated disturbance, we could have made an informed decision about our booking. There was not a moment of peace. Even spending time by the dam was unpleasant because of the constant pounding music. What should have been a special family celebration became an exhausting and distressing experience. This is unacceptable, and I expect Tsogo Sun to take this complaint seriously. Please explain why we were not warned and confirm what appropriate compensation you will offer for the disruption and impact on our stay. I look forward to a prompt response and a meaningful resolution.

I found the Bathroom weird. It was small and the shower was stressful. While having a shower then water splashed out and wets the floors. To then walk into a dirty carpeted room didn't help. I found the room small and the carpet very dirty. The room and bathroom was a huge disappointment. The breakfast was boring also. As a vegetarian I found not many options and the breakfast staff were sad and duty bound only.

The breakfast was so bad it made me angry. Like breakfast isn't hard, really. REALLY. Rather take your family and go elsewhere. Yes it will cost more vs the "free" breakfast, but do you really want to have a memory of a terrible breakfast?

The experience was generally disappointing considering the standard of the hotel. We shared our concerns with the lady at reception that our room was cold and loud because of the sound of an AC (we believe it is) that was coming from outside. The shower was horrific to say the least. The shower head was now spraying water in a normal way and the tap could not regulate warm water right. It was either hot or cold.

The water felt “slimy” and smelt like river water. Aircon is too loud in the rooms.
