There is constant humidity in the room, i think due to moist linen. Not adequate lighting in the room.

Colazione molto variegata con dolce , salato e frutta ,abbondante, al 4° piano sulla terrazza che potevi ammirare il mare, personale accogliente, e gentile la piscina ha una buona dimensione e puoi trascorrere del tempo se non hai voglia di andare a mare.

il parcheggio è un pò piccolo non ce posto x tutti gli ospiti che hanno un auto, ma non si ha difficoltà a parcheggiare per strada

We truly loved our stay at this hotel. Everything was wonderful—the property itself, the friendly staff, the lovely pool, and the convenient guest parking. A major highlight was the beachfront location and having breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. We simply had a great experience overall.

we weren't big fans of the yellow bed linens we had upon arrival. Also, while the location right by the water is great, it’s about a 15-minute drive from the center of Chania, so you do need a way to get around. We had a rental car, though, so it worked out perfectly for us.

Το μόνο που μου άρεσε πολύ ηταν η καθαριότητα και το πρωινό ήταν ικανοποιητικό. Κατά τα άλλα πολύ μέτρια πράγματα για 3στερο ξενοδοχείο ή τιμη ηταν υψηλή μήνα Σεπτέμβριο και το δωμάτιο χωρίς καθόλου θέα βλέπαμε το πάρκινγκ. Επίσης υπάρχει πρόβλημα στο συγκεκριμένο δωμάτιο που μείναμε το aircondition χτυπούσε πάνω στο κεφάλι μας ειναι ακατάλληλο στο σημείο που βρίσκεται.

Porto Alegre is a small, very cozy and welcoming hotel. The rooms were perfectly clean, with thorough housekeeping every single day. The location is excellent: within a short walking distance, you can easily reach three beautiful beaches. Transport connections are a huge plus! There is a bus stop right by the hotel to get to Chania town. Also, you can catch the bus directly from here to the ferry terminal for Balos Lagoon or take a ride to the famous Elafonisi beach. If you rent a car, the hotel is a great starting point to drive up through the breathtaking Theriso gorge, visit the stunning Lake Kournas, or discover other quiet, hidden corners of Crete. The magnificent view from the rooftop terrace during breakfast is absolutely beautiful and makes up for everything!

The breakfast itself is quite ordinary and repetitive, like a standard buffet. We would have loved to see a better selection of meats and cheeses. Also, the interior of the hotel feels a bit dated and could use a little modernizing. Great stay, highly recommended! 9/10

Hôtel peu calme, l’Isolation phonique à revoir et la piscine est perchée au dessus de la route principale. Nous avons payés plus pour une vue…sur l’hôtel d’en face.

Las habitaciones muy antiguas (no cuesta nada cambiar el cubre colchon y un par de detalles), y el desayuno bastante justo…está claro que es un 3 estrellas frente al mar…

La estancia en el hotel fue muy agradable. La habitación era amplia y estaba limpia, y en general es un hotel tranquilo y de ambiente familiar. El desayuno estaba bueno y, además, tenía unas vistas muy agradables. La ubicación también nos pareció buena, a unos 10-15 minutos en coche de La Canea, lo que resulta bastante cómodo para visitar la ciudad sin alojarse en pleno centro.

El parking es bastante justo y limitado. Además, nos alquilaron una sombrilla de playa que estaba rota. Entendemos que puede ser un error y que nos puede pasar a todos, pero creemos que deberían revisar el material antes de alquilarlo.

Rooms are spacious and super-clean everyday. We could check in after midnight because reception works 24-7. Swimming pool is spacious and very convenient. Not very far from decent beach. Very quiet during night, we could sleep very well. Breakfast was decent and served on upper terrace with the great view.

Colazione ottima e variegata (tra salato e dolce) che si svolge sulla terrazza dell’hotel con vista mare. Parcheggio gratuito della struttura. Camera molto pulita (in 6gg cambio lenzuola e asciugamani), spaziosa con terrazzino e con letto super comodo. Posizione ottima da cui partire per visitare le diverse spiagge della costa ovest e sud (soprattutto perché visitare Creta richiede molto km su strade tortuose). Nei dintorni della struttura si trovano spiagge e locali carini. Raggiungere il centro storico è facile, volendo anche con autobus.

Mancanza del bidet. Condizionatore leggermente rumoroso e Wi-Fi debole in camera.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν εξαιρετική! Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος και πολύ άνετος. Σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά και το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αναζητά ένα καθαρό, άνετο και φιλόξενο μέρος για τη διαμονή του. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα!

This hotel has potential. It offers a solid base necessities. Although the design is a bit old, it is charming in its own way. Facilities are kept in good condition. As we rented a car at the airport, it was a pleasant surprise to see they offer parking at the property. At all times there was a couple of spots available. Room was spacious enough for our group. Bus stop for Chania city buses is right by the hotel.

Although they label themselves a beach hotel, there is no actual beach nearby. Breakfast is abysmal. Do not spend your money on it if you can choose not to. I would much rather suggest Porto Kalamaki next door for your breakfast, or simply buy something from a store. At the poolside, there is no service. If you want to get anything, you need to go inside to reception yourself and order your drinks. Moreover, they don't have any glassware there for drinks. Our room was on the first floor which meant our "balcony" or terrace was below street level facing the parking lot. It was completely unusable and uninviting. I would have preferred an actual balcony on upper floors. Even though they have bus schedules at the reception, they don't sell advance tickets for buses which is a bummer. You need to walk all the way to a store near the next stop towards town to buy those unless you want to pay the higher price on bus.

No habia wifi casi, nos dieron un mini gel de ducha para 3 dias y lo mismo el jabon de manos era solido por lo cual no nos parecio higienico (siempre nos dan jabon liquido en todos los hoteles) por lo cual tuvimos que comprar en un supermercado todo, el personal de limpieza del desayuno no recogia las mesas sucias y cuando llegabamos no habia mesas limpias disponibles, desayuno bastante limitado en variedad

The girl serving at the bar was very friendly and happy to provide information about the nearby monastery and other lovely places to visit in the area. Her helpful recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. L'emplacement près de belles plages à pied et du centre ville de Chania en bus. Proximité aussi de supermarchés et de nombreux restaurants. Le petit déjeuner est varié et propose des mets locaux différents tous les jours. Les chambres et les espaces communs climatisés. La gentillesse des employés, tous métiers confondus.

Le service snack ferme à 20h, trop tôt pour les retours d'excursions.

Great location. Really close to Chania old town. Although the design/interior design of the room looks dated, the beds were still comfy, the room is also spacious & clean, and the toilet is good & spacious. Breakfast is also good. Pool adds a nice touch.

WiFi is slow. Parking can be difficult as they only have limited space. We had an issue with our room! It was advertised that the room has 3 single beds (that’s why we booked it because the ad says it has three single beds and that’s exactly what we wanted). But upon arrival we were informed that our rooms only had 1 double bed and a single bed. We were really disappointed with the staff at the reception and with booking.com. We were gaslighted by the staff as she kept saying that I should’ve requested for 3 single beds (making me feel it was my fault for not informing them)… and we kept explaining to her that the ad on booking.com says it’s a room with 3 single beds (it doesn’t make sense to request for 3 single beds, when the ad already indicated that the room has 3 single beds). We felt like we weren’t accommodated properly. We had to sort it out ourselves by calling booking.com and making arrangements. Hospitality was not that good… something to improve on.

L’accueil, le confort, la proximité de La Canée en voiture

Un peu loin du centre historique si à pied

La struttura è in una buona posizione, vicino a chania. Comodo anche per andare verso le spiagge dell’ovest. Ottima la piscina, dotata di ogni confort.

Purtroppo devo recensire negativamente a casa dei gravi problemi riguardanti i servizi (soprattutto il wifi) che ha questo hotel. Elenco tutti i disservizi che mi hanno rovinato la vacanza: 1) il wifi funzionava solo vicino alla reception. Partiamo dal presupposto che l’hotel è completamente privo di segnale telefonico (soprattutto vodafone) quindi eravamo isolati senza campo. Arriviamo in camera e il wifi era inesistente (camera molto esterna). Lo facciamo presente e ci viene detto che avrebbero mandato un tecnico. Sono passati 2 giorni e mezzo, altre 5 segnalazioni ma nulla.. nessuno ha preso in carico la cosa. Improvvisamente alla mia minaccia di recensioni negative, dopo poche ore mi viene proposta un’altra camera che andiamo a testare prima: stesso problema. Wifi debolissimo che nn permetteva accesso. Quindi rifiutiamo il cambio e rimaniamo nella stessa con lo stesso problema. In tutto ciò l’hotel manager non si è mai palesato, nonostante fosse stato richiesto un confronto per richiedere un rimborso parziale. A questo aggiungere: 2) colazione molto limitata e con prodotti scadenti e con orari limitatissimi (8-10) che nn permettevano di usufruirne visto che per fare le escursioni a Creta bisogna uscire prima delle 8. Un giorno siamo saliti alle 8 e la sala era ancora chiusa. Risultato : 2 su 4 notti colazione pagata ma non usufruita 3) camera molto vetusta, con tende non oscuranti (la mattina si era accecati dal sole) Pagare 600 euro per avere questi servizi orridi e questa poca attenzione al cliente non è accettabile

家庭旅馆，设施很齐全，除了烧水需要前台帮忙，前台都很好很热情。 酒店门口就是马路和海，住在一楼完全感受不到马路的繁忙之感受到大海的美丽和泳池的清澈。每天来往酒店非常方便，周围走5分钟也有小超市可以买苹果酸奶什么的。 洗澡空间也很够，水非常大洗起来很热很爽。最喜欢的是房间带的小院子，每天在那里吃晚饭发呆。 早餐在顶楼，风景很好，早餐也很好吃，都是希腊经典搭配，有新鲜水果。 前台超级棒，问啥问题都会给耐心的解答和帮助。

Das Bett war gut aber die unter Matratze sah sehr zerfetzt aus ist ein bockspin Bett.

A reggeli rémes, nulla választék. A szobánk ajtaját nem lehetett bezárni, egész este és éjjel nyitva volt, reggel szóltunk a recepciósnak, aki szintén nem tudta megoldani. Aztán bezárta valahogy a saját kártyájával, majd mire visszaértünk a szörnyű reggeliből, az ajtót nem lehetett kinyitni. Az összes csomagunk bent volt. Szólt a karbantartónak (aki mellesleg a pincér is volt), hogy jöjjön, nyissa ki. Ott kellett várakoznunk. Miután végre sikerült kinyitni az ajtót, közölték, hogy ne csukjuk be belülről, mert akkor megint nem lehet majd kinyitni. Az éjszakai recepcióstól meg megpróbáltam vizet venni, mert terhes vagyok és nem vagyok hajlandó itt csapvizet inni, aki mivel nem működött a terminál, nem akarta odaadni a vizet, közölte, hogy igyak csapvizet, jó az, ő is azt itta terhesen. Mondtam, hogy kifizetem akkor reggel, de adja ide, akkor sem akarta és csak erősködött, hogy de igyak csapvizet. Végül a vizet utánam hozta a szobába, mert gondolom látta rajtam, hogy mennyire felháborít ez a hozzáállás. Az egész tetejébe a recepció melletti első szobát kaptuk, konkrétan az EGÉSZ SZÁLLODA a mi ajtónk előtt jött-ment, pihenésre esélyünk sem volt. Nagyon örülök, hogy csak egy éjszakát kellett ezen a rémes helyen eltölteni, még egyet biztosan nem bírtam volna ki. Senki ne menjen oda!

The hotel staff makes this hotel special... warm welcome... feeling special from the start until the check out . Das Hotel war sehr sauber. Die Zimmer schön groß. Frühstück gab es in der vierten Etage mit Blick aufs Meer.

Das Zimmer hat muffig gerochen. Lage: Am Strand ist übertrieben, direkt am Meer hätte es getroffen, ja. Wenn man zum Strand wollte, musste man ein Stück gehen. Und unser Zimmer war im Kellergeschoss, so dass man von der Terasse entweder auf den Parkplatz oder dem Fußweg geschaut hat.

Дійсно приємний сніданок на 4- му поверсі з чудовим видом на море. Персонал дуже привітний. Щоденне прибирання й заміна рушників, просторий номер, регулярно поповнювали гігієн.засоби, кондиціонер добре працює. Сніданок смачний, але в більшості одне й теж саме ( прож. 10 ночей). Радувало ще різноманіття фруктів щоранку. Зразу автобусна зупинка, з якої можна доїхати до ключових пляжів та міста Ханья. В номері маленька електрична плита, холодильник. Вода в басейні чиста!

Рушники для користування біля басейну потрібно оплачувати, хоча ми й плавали в ньому 2 рази за 11 днів, але всеодно незручно. Найближчий пляж : 500 метрів від готелю ❗️ Сніданки короткі: з 8:00-10:00, двічі просто не могли поснідати(виїжджали рано) Кімнати відносно старі: без провітрювання чути запах.

Lokalizacja hotelu jest świetna i bardzo dobrze skomunikowana przystanek znajduje się tuż przy obiekcie. Śniadania były bardzo dobre i smaczne z widokiem na morze są po prostu spektakularne! Pokój był czysty, łóżko bardzo wygodne, a personel niezwykle miły. Duży plus to również basen oraz leżaki do opalania z pięknym widokiem na morze.

Niestety, dostaliśmy pokój z widokiem na parking, na dodatek zlokalizowany jakby na poziomie -1, co zdecydowanie nam się nie podobało.

La struttura da su una strada trafficatissima ed è un po' distante da Chania.

Miły hotel, ze świetnym położeniem. Tuż obok przystanek z częstymi połączeniami do Chanii, a stamtąd na lotnisko. Obok ładna plaża, sklepy restauracje.

Śniadania mogłyby być bardziej urozmaicone. Po suche przekąski nikt nie sięga, brakuje świeżych sałatek, wędlin, serów. Kawa koszmarna.

3 éves gyerekkel tökéletes választás volt! Közel a strand, van gyerekeknek is medence és a személyzet is nagyon kedves :)

Servizi e struttura ottime, quasi assenza di spiaggia, bellissima vista mare. Buona posizione strategica se si vuole pernottare per recarsi nelle meraviglie che Creta offre nel lato occidentale.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la posizione, l'ampiezza della stanza,il condizionatore a controllo individuale e la terrazza vista mare per la colazione. Il soggiorno è andato oltre le nostre aspettative, lo staff è gentilissimo, (c'è una conduzione familiare eccellente ),la colazione ottima,in bagno un piano d'appoggio infinito,una tranquillità spettacolare ...Tutto perfetto!

Consiglio di parcheggiare in strada perché nonostante ci sia qualche posto nel parcheggio interno privato, non sempre è facile uscire soprattutto da quelli in fondo.

The hotel is ok for what it is, the rooms are a good size. - The internet was a bit poor in the room atleast - With regards to the breakfast, it's ok, but the variety is a bit poor. I mean, there is not much to choose from, pretty much the same thing everyday The actual problem is the staff, including the owner of the hotel. 1. I asked the owner if I could have had a 5 minutes swim in the pool in the evening ( I was going to pay if req ). He's answer was " no, because we are pouring chemicals at this time, and you know ' Botox ' ? You don't want to get that". I am fully aware of the noise regulations from 11PM from Greece as I travel in this country quite often...but he could have said this nicely 2 .When we were outside at the table, he rushed to tell us we are not allowed to stay if we do not order from the bar ( but we did ) 3. Later on, I came with a few drinks from the room ( purchased from the bar one night before ). He stopped me saying I am not allowed to stay outside because those items are not from the bar. I advised they are. He then said they are not selling those drinks at the bar...the conversation ended when I told him I can show the receipt and transaction if required...a bit of harrasment I would say. He then insisted I open the bottles and put the drinks in some plastic cups he supplied... 4. On the last day, our plane was booked for late in the evening. We asked them if they can offer a courtesy room just for us to have a shower around 4-5PM on the day. I advised we will pay for this service. They quoted us 150 euros for a room which was available until 6PM on the day. I was just about to say " yes " only to check how much was a room for the entire night until the following day if I was to book it through Booking.com. A room until the next day was the equivalent of aprox 75 euros..

Excellent hotel! I had a very pleasant stay at Porto Alegre Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was professional and friendly, and the location was very convenient. Everything was well organized and the staff were helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel!
