My room was at the 2nd floor, I was promised to be relocated to a lower floor- that never happened. No explanation about how the hotel functions, I only found out that I could eat at the hotel restaurant a day before I checked out.

1.Location too dark at night 2.Entrance road damaged too many potholes. 3.Signage not clear. 4.The hotel has no lifts were put on top floor. 5.The shower was leaking water on the floors. 6.Staff not friendly at all,wanted us to fetch toilet rolls and towels from reception.Even though the housekeeping never replaced. 7.The corridor was extremely dirty. 8.Breakfast was terrible with poor hygiene standard from the chef. 9.The security wanted us to check drivers license evertime we came in and out. 10.The rooms were not next to each other as requested.

I don’t believe the price we paid was worth it. Yes the location is good but the rooms are tiny. No Netflix, DSTV and to top it off the WiFi was slow. I would rather recommend the Golden horse Casino hotel or alternatively Ascot bush lodge

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026The location was very convenient as one of our family members took part in the SA National Laser run event that took place at the Aqua Centre, close by. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.
The amount of storage/ cupboard space is rather minimal in the room. The shower had very low pressure. There are no towel rails/ hooks in the bathroom. As the rooms are charged on a per room basis it becomes very expensive if only one person stays in the particular room. The hotel should consider charging per person rather than per room in cases like this.

I also was early accomodated and my language was left behind and I retrieved it after Comrades Marathon. I had a perfect stay good customer by staff.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026The booking service team must really do better regarding the booking made through Bookings.com. Glitches with this system and the hotel must understand that it not customers obligation to sort out the mess created through bookings.com.
I think I didnt like the fact that I had to keep following up if my booking is confirmed when I had received the confirmation through booking.com com 2 months before that my reservation is confirmed. I got alarmed when I received the email in the same week that my bookings was not paid.....

During busy time, may please add more staff to the reception. We've waited for the long time in the queue to check in because there was only one lady assisting us.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026- The staff were excellent. I didn't interact with many staff members, but the light-skinned receptionist who assisted us during check-in was outstanding. Even though she was very busy handling multiple check-ins at the same time, she greeted us with a smile, politely asked us to wait, and apologized for the delay. She remained professional, calm, and friendly throughout. She truly managed the situation very well. I would suggest that during peak check-in times, management should provide additional support at reception to assist guests more efficiently. That being said, she was amazing and deserves recognition. - The security personnel were also very friendly and welcoming. -The room had everything we needed, including a bar fridge, which was a nice bonus. - The shower worked well, and we had no issues with it. - The TV was good and easy to use.
The Wi-Fi signal was quite poor. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the Wi-Fi experience during our stay. -While the TV was good, I think adding more channels would improve the guest experience.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel looked amazing and exceeded my expectations given the location. Outdoor area looks great. The rooms were clean and well kept.
The restaurant food didn't taste that good. The fact that I had to go iron my clothes downstairs was not ideal. Would prefer to have an iron brought to the room.
