Skala Hotel

Das Hotel ist sehr modern und relativ neu. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wunderbare Matratzen, viele bequeme Kissen, tägliches Housekeeping. Die Reinigungsdame überrascht jeden Tag mit verschiedenen süßen Kreationen aus Handtüchern am Bett. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Man kann zum Buffet noch aus diversen a la card Gerichten wählen, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Kurzer Fußweg zum Sand/Kiesstrand. Der Wasserdruck im Bad ist für Langhaarmädchen super!

Das Bad ist sehr modern, allerdings äußerst unpraktisch, da es nur eine schmale Duschwand gibt und man das Bad überschwemmt, wenn man nicht vorsichtig ist. Es gibt lediglich eine Handtuchstange. Ein, zwei Haken an der Wand und es wäre perfekt. Unsere Superior Suite war sehr groß. Es gab jedoch lediglich eine Kommode mit 3 Laden und eine Kleiderstange zum Hängen von halblangen Kleidungsstücken darüber. Platz für einen richtigen Kleiderschrank wäre genug. Die Beleuchtung war mit Ausnahme des Badezimmers eher schlecht.

Modern rooms, spacious and clean, huge balcony with seaview, 2-3 minutes from the beach (which is sandy at first, but pebbly as you approach the water) and 3-4 to the village center, with lots of shops, bakeries, restaurants and bars. Good breakfast and nice atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It is very close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. We especially loved Sunrise and Kaliva. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We also found it easy to park on the street right in front of the hotel. But what we appreciated the most was the friendliness of the entire staff, from Alexandra and her colleagues at the reception to the lovely lady who took care of the cleaning. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! We would definitely come back! ❤️

One thing that could be improved is the soundproofing between the rooms, as we could sometimes hear noise from the neighboring rooms.

Közel volt a strand, a sétáló utca is. Modern, felújított. Reggeli pont megfelelő volt számunkra, ebédelnünk így nem is kellett, elég volt egy kis gyümölcs , keksz a vacsoráig.

A furdöben a mosdó nagyon kicsi volt csak egy kezmoso volt. Kifolyt a víz.

L’hotel si trova a due passi dalla spiaggia e dal centro di Skala. La struttura poi è nuova e moderna e la colazione era abbondante, vista la possibilità di scegliere piatti extra dal menù.

Il bagno angusto: piccolo e stretto, il lavandino forse adatto a dei bambini e la doccia inutilizzabile se non allagando tutto. La mancanza di ascensore non consente il soggiorno a persone con mobilità ridotta, se non nelle camere al piano terra. Noi avevamo la camera al 2 piano e il personale non ci ha aiutato con le valigie.

Brand new hotel with very comfortable beds, clean and in an excellent location. Close to beach and main area in Skala.

The air conditioner in one of the rooms was not working properly. We let the hotel know so they can service it for future guests. The other room had excellent air conditioning.

Nice, new hotel rooms. The staff is very kind and the cleaning lady surprised us everyday with an animal towel creation. Breakfast was great every morning.

Everything was amazing! The hotel was very clean, comfortable and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay.The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights. It was complete, varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from every morning. Everything was fresh and very well prepared. The staff were also very kind and helpful throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel! 😊

Ez szerintem nem egy korrekt megoldás volt.

Located right near to the centre of town and close pedestrian access to the beach. Modern, bright and clean, spacious room and excellent en-suite. The staff were very helpful and the cleaning stack extremely efficient. Very nice breakfast each morning, lots of choice.

There are a number of stairs to negotiate even to get to reception.

The property is ideally situated within an easy walk to the beach and the many bars and restaurants of Skala. Our room was very well equipped with a large balcony and a gorgeous sea view. The breakfast choice was extensive and served every morning with a welcome and a smile. 😊

Great location just a few minutes walk to the restaurants and bar. Right near the beach. Staff were really helpful and the room was lovely. We were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good with varied choices and a choice of hot options as well as fruit and cereals.

Not an issue for us but you may want to know there is no lift so if you don’t like stairs you may want to ask for a ground floor room.

Our room was next to the front door which we heard shut every time anyone came in. The air con was very very noisy in the room

Rooms are good size, clean and everything is new. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast every morning was amazing!

Only thing we wished was that the blankets on the bed were bigger they were a bit small

The only disappointment was lumpy pillows. Other than that excellent hotel!

Schönes Hotel & sehr gutes Frühstück, tolle Lage sehr nah am Strand. Empfehlenswert! Besonderes Lob an die sehr fleißige und liebe Frau vom Zimmerservice, die immer präsent war und überall angepackt und sich sogar noch die Zeit genommen hat, wirklich witzige & kreative Handtuch-Figuren zu formen. Super gemacht Dankeschön!!!

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer der gleichen Kategorie gebucht, aber unterschiedliche erhalten. Wurde im Nachgang aber geklärt und Differenz gutgeschrieben., danke!

Clean and convenient for the main town. Sea view and a large balcony. Staff were lovely and the daily towel sculptures were a joy. Breakfast was a good choice and, even though it was the end of season and we were the last people staying here, they still laid it all out for us. Lovely area where you can sit for coffee or a drink.

Das Hotel liegt traumhaft gut, ganz nahe am Meer, aus unserem Zimmer hatten wir sogar einen Blick darauf. Ein Frühstück, das alle Erwartungen übererfüllt.

Leider hatten wir für 10 Tage Aufenthalt keinen einzigen Schrank, nur drei kleine Schubladen.

Er mocht wat meer gepoetst worden op de kamer. het was ook alle dagen dezelfde charcuterie.

הגענו לשלושה לילות. המיקום של המלון מעולה וקרוב מאוד לחוף ולמסעדות. החדר מאוד נוח ונעים וישנו מצויין. ארוחת הבוקר מאוד טובה.. אין חניה למלון, אבל לא היתה לנו בעיה לחנות ברחוב ליד המלון. נהנינו מאוד!

Tolles neu renoviertes Hotel, Zimmer sehr sauber, jeden Tag hatten wir die tollsten Figuren mit Handtücher auf unseren Betten liegen, Sonderwünsche von z.B. einer zweiten Decken war gar kein Problem. Frühstück klein aber fein, alles da was das Herz begehrt und auch eine kleine Auswahl an warmen Speisen die auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet werden war jeden Tag möglich. Fast direkt am Strand gelegen und Restaurants/Bars auch gleich ums Eck. Es war wirklich einfach alles super.

Location was amazing, very close to the beach and the center of Skala. Very good restaurants nearby, including the one in front of the hotel. Although parking was not available, street parking was easy to find. Breakfast was very nice, with hot options that can be ordered as well. It felt like home when the lady who assisted breakfast already knew our coffee order the moment we arrived.

The room was very comfortable, however the bathroom was very small. Unfortunately the sink was too tiny as well making it difficult to use without pouring water on the floor and, although shower pressure was amazing, it was very difficult to shower without wetting the whole bathroom.

Sehr tolles modernes Hotel. Liegt in perfekter Lage. 50 Meter bis zum Strand über eine Treppe erreichbar. Unzählige Restaurant, Geschäfte und Supermarkt zahlreich im Umkreis von 200 Meter. Zimmer und Balkon sehr groß und sauber. Personal immer freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Frühstück am Buffet. Verschiedene Eiergerichte a la Karte zum bestellen. Richtig lecker.

Keine eigenen Parkplätze vom Hotel. Aber kein Problem nach 2 Runden fahren haben wir immer einen Parkplatz im Umkreis von 50 Meter bekommen.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely freshly made Greek breakfasts which we ate on the verandah. Perfect location, just minutes walk from the beautiful beach. Room was very clean and well equipped and the cleaner was fantastic.

There was nothing I didn't like, but to improve the hotel, I would recommend a courtesy room so guests can shower before flying home.

We have stayed in Skala for a number of years but this was our first time at the Skala Hotel and we were not disappointed. The hotel is on the edge of the village so a good location only 5 mins walk into the centre to shops restaurants and bars and a 10min walk down to the sea front and beach. The hotel is stylishly modern and decorated in tranquil colours. Our room was on the first floor, there are no lifts, we are in our seventies if you cant carry your luggage up a flight of stairs you may find this a problem, we didnt. Breakfast is a combination of a vast buffet of fruit juices, cold meats, cheese, fruit, dried fruit and nuts, cereals, jams, toast and yogurt with freshly cooked eggs dishes to your order and pancakes. Coffee and tea is also made to your order. The breakfast service manager got to know my husbands coffee order and had his latte done as soon as we reached our table and his second cup as soon as he had drunk the first, he wont get that service at home!! Our room was a good size and we had plenty of hanging, drawer and shelf space. The balcony was large with a table and 2 chairs and a pull out handing rail to dry beach clothes etc. Towels were changed daily and bedding twice a week. The housekeeping staff made our towels into amusing towel art every day and managed to service our room whilst we had breakfast which was exceptional.

The only comments I would make were that the overhead shower head did flood the bathroom floor when you used it so the shower and toilet room was more of a wet room only way this could be made better is to change the style of the shower cubicle so not really an option. The wash hand basin is outside the wet room with shelving to hold toiletries and loo rolls. It would also have been nice to have cushions on the balcony chairs as the chairs were metal and did get hot to sit on when they had been in the sun.

Really great location only a short walk to the beach, and in the heart of the town. Well appointed rooms with everything you would need for your stay (coffee and tea, hairdryer, toiletries, pegs and washing line, coat hangers. Great breakfast with a good range of options and hot selection cooked fresh.

Our bathroom was small and the shower did leak onto the bathroom floor - it is a wet room so this was not an issue but did not drain easily so took the whole evening to soak away. This didn't affect our stay or enjoyment of the hotel.

The property was clean, modern and in a great location, close to the bars, restaurants and the beach.

Nothing we didn’t like but a pool at some point would definitely add to the positive experience.

The room& cleaning

Not beachfront - as mentioned in the description Program of breakfast meal - starts late at 8;00, considering that the island is mostly eligible for traveling to other beaches and usually traveling starts earlier Organization of breakfast - not enough staff to be more efficient, it takes a little to long to receive even a hot water for tea.
