Die Lage war sehr gut - nah zum Surfstrand und zu den Restaurants und Cafés. Für den Preis ein gutes Hotel.

Durch die Fenster zum Flur ist es sehr hellhörig und man hört jedes Wort auf dem Gang, auf dem sich Gruppen abends treffen und super laut waren, sodass wir nur mit Ohropax schlafen konnten. Im Zimmer und vor allem im Bad waren sehr viele Ameisen. Die Zimmer sind schlicht aber geräumig und für den Preis in Ordnung.

מיקום מרכזי, אחלה צוות, חדר נקי ונוח

ישנתי המלון במשך שלושה שבועות, הצוות וביניהם צ׳ריט הפכו כבר למשפחה. המיקום של המלון היה נהדר, כמה דקות הליכה מבתי קפה מצויינים, יוגה וביץ׳ קלאבים. הגעתי לטייל לבד בוויליגמה ובמלון עצמו הכרתי 6 חברים טובים שאיתם המשכתי לטייל עד שחזרתי הביתה. המלון עצמו ממש חברתי וקל להכיר בו אנשים מקסימים. החדר שקיבלתי היה גדול מאוד ומרווח. בחדר יש מזגן ומאוורר ומיטה גדולה מאוד. אם אחזור לוויליגמה בטוחה שאחזור לכאן:)

הדבר היחידי וזה גם צ׳ריט המנהל מודיע מראש זה שלפעמים אין מים חמים במקלחת. לאורך שלושה שבועות רק פעמיים לא היו לי מים חמים ככה שזה לא נורא.

The manager pf the hotel is a really nice person, all the staff are good people and they help us and take care of everything we needed. The location is perfect and close to everything, to the beach, restaurants, bars, and the experience was great! Im sure we will come back to that amazing hotel, and for everyone who wants good experience from Sri Lanka I’ll recommend about that hotel!

Great place for an overnight. The team accepted me both last minute and very late at night. I was also given a bigger room than the one I booked

Location was very good especially using the alley to the side of the property the beach is very close. The rooms were spacious and air conditioned with a big shower.

It was noisy but mainly due to some other guests so not the hotel directly. Very laid back, any issues got resolved quickly.

O quarto era espaçoso. Bom AC. Boa pressão da àgua. A localização não é em frente à praia como dizem na descrição, mas é a 8/10m da praia. É ok.

Tivemos que pedir toalhas pois não estavam no quarto e estavam encardidas. O quarto não estava propriamente limpo, tinha restos de comida numa das gavetas. Sendo um quarto grande podia ser melhor aproveitado com cabides ( tem um armário pequeno que nem dá para pendurar roupa, está lá, mas não serve para nada). O Staff estava disponível, mas era bastante relaxado.

The beach bar area is BEYOND stunning. The staff are amazing.

The bathroom toilet was not working for us when we arrived to our room, there was also quite a bad mosquito problem which we did not find in any of the other locations we stayed while in weligama.

The staff are friendly.

The music was so loud. It's obviously not as new as the pic on the website. As I had big hole in my ceiling. Marks on the walls in the bathroom. I wouldn't pay no more than £20 for this room. There is no natural light with no windows. The bathroom window is closed shut. The party shuts down at midnight so if u want early night this isn't the place for you.

The bedroom wall is made of glass so you have to keep curtains drawn for privacy (on the ground floor) and there are no windows

Rooms are bad designed, there is practically only glass wall through which the insects can go in, and zero sound insulation. The mattress also not so good. I dont know about the upper rooms might be better. In general its okay but considering the facts the price should be lower imo.

Everything was fabulous! Room was large, spacious, clean and modern. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great, we got to order off a cafe looking menu rather than the standard breakfasts we’ve had everywhere else. Definitely recommend staying here!

Brilliant location just a two minute walk to the beach! Staff are all amazing and very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and very clean!

Clean, close to beach and shops, staff went above and beyond to make our experience good. Get the breakfast package, was so worth it for yummy food both Sri Lankan and western options.

Location is good and the room is big enough

Beg bugs on my very first night, no compensation and I have to pay for the cleaning of my clothes. Not recommended at all. No cleaning during the week while it’s an hotel.

The first impression was good, with large, nice rooms, and the person I was in contact with provided shampoo/conditioner since I was out. However, the help didn't last long...

I went to shower as the first thing I did after getting assigned the room. When I was showering, a large worm emerged from the drain. Additionally, I noticed several black pests/insects moving on the bed. We immediately requested a new room, and it felt safer due to the positive reviews. After two nights at the hotel, it became evident that we had bedbugs originating from this place. There were two of us in the same room who had been sleeping separately until our stay here. When we brought this issue up with the manager, we weren't understood, and they began cleaning the floor and changing the bedding. Although they offered to change the bedding or provide a new room, this wouldn't eliminate the bedbugs. They refused to take responsibility and insisted that we pay for laundry ourselves, despite their beds being the source of the bedbugs. The manager became frustrated and somewhat aggressive, prompting us to feel safer checking out a day early. We were forced to pay for the entire stay, including laundry, even though it was clearly the hotel's fault. Additionally, the door to the room functioned poorly, requiring force to both lock and unlock it, which felt unsafe at night. I would advise others to disregard positive reviews and avoid this hotel.

Didn’t feel 100% clean. Weird layout of property our room backed straight onto a kitchen/dining room area. We could hear everything going on outside.

We loved everything about our stay here! Dilshan and his team are so kind and welcoming, we ended up extending our stay. I can 100% recommend this place!

Excellent location, super close to Mariott, Kurumba Bay, Kai Beach, W15, Nomad Cafe and most importantly Weligama Main Beach. Great staff, Dilshan and team take care of all the needs and are very hands on, kind and helpful. Clean tidy rooms and bathrooms. Can request for daily servicing on demand.

We didn't like the locking of the door of the room, we also didn't like the offer of the food

The property is new and clean. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach.

2 things that I need to mention. First, it’s on a busy road. Busses and big trucks will be roaring down it honking from about 7am to 7pm. If I didn’t have earplugs I’d probably change hotels. Second issue which really kind of soured my time there was that when extending our stay I negotiated and confirmed a price with the staff. Upon checkout he then decided that he did not want to honor that and instead asked for more. I had to sit there and argue over this while I was given excuses and made to feel like I was inconveniencing them and being unreasonable. It’s a pretty awful way to do business. It’s a hotel. Not a tuktuk. After back and forth with the owner on the phone they reluctantly gave me the price they agreed to originally. I then tipped him like $6 or $7 and was just stared at with no response. Maybe it’s all some part of the culture I don’t fully understand but regardless, I’d not book here again because of this. There are other small issues with power outages daily (and no generator) that unless it’s priced accordingly it’s not worth it.

Everything was new and súper clean and comfortable. The staff is a 10 and in every detail. Breakfast also at good prices with awesome juices.

The staff and the manager are amazing and help you feel comfortable. The room and bathroom are spacious. Breakfast is good! The location is close to many restaurants and the beach.

It is loud and the rooms are not well-insulated against it. The hotel is located next to a noisy street and close to a school where a prayer is transmitted over the speakers at 7am - so bring earplugs! Also, I had the misfortune of my room being to very noisy neighbours who were partying until 6am.

Very kindly crew , help us in everything, the room was kindly big and new, good location.

Dilshan & madushan

We slept in a family room with two children for 5 nights, the room was large, everything was new, clean and comfortable, a shower with a strong current and hot water, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, we were satisfied.

Close to the beach if you take a shortcut, otherwise if it rains a lot then the shortcut is flooded and there is a problem to pass and you have to make the 6 minute detour on the road which is less convenient with children, but in our case everything worked out.

I had a great experience at Single Fin. Airport pickup worked great, the rooms are big and clean, and the staff are very friendly. A special shout out to dilshan & madushan for great hospitality. 🙌

Basically nothing. I would say I did like my expectation from the place, but nothibg after we arrived. The only advantage is location not far from the beach.

1) noise comes from everywhere. Design of the building is such that second floor absorbs all the noise from the road and accumulates it multiplying with echo. Apart from that even having no neighbors on the landspot next to the hotel techno parties we well heard from all over around 2) AC on the second floor due to its design makes it branch of hell as all the heats stays in the second floor corridor 3) the entrance door was deformed the way that it was possible to have a look inside the room from outside 4) once manager entered the room without even knocking, likely for him we were dressed and chatting 5) room wasn't cleaned once during our stay

The staff was very friendly and always trying to help. Rooms upstairs are big with nice full functioning bathroom, great shower.

Room was not very clean, some stains in the bed and the sheets were smelly. Toast and not very tasteful scrambled eggs for breakfast was just okay.

Perfect location for the beach and the town centre. Well kept and clean property. Staff friendly and helpful.

Rooms on the ground floor have thick milk glass to the whole front (incl. the door); so there is no window. Floor in one room was sticky.

I only stayed one night on my way to Arugam Bay. So I can not say much. Room was clean and nice. Staff was friendly. The main guests were russian. It got a bit noisy at night. I would not stay there for longer but for one night it was ok.

Nice big room with A/C, breakfast was included for us which was ok, including big fruit platter and oat muesli which was a bit of a soup but tasted good. Good location, helped us get a taxi to our next spot.

Felt a bit off at times, we would walk around just to see the common area and they would follow us, felt a bit uneasy sometimes. Staff also a bit weird sometimes, only payment in cash. Lots of mosquitos at night because the bathroom had a window with no proper net.
