Riguardo la cooking class: un consiglio sarebbe rendere più partecipi, facendo cucinare di più i partecipanti.

Eigenlijk niets, maar een rek om je rugzak op te leggen, was handig geweest.

Eine sehr fürsorgliche Gastgeberin, die Touren-Wünsche ihrer Gäste organisiert, kleine Notwendigkeiten (Einkäufe, kurze Fahrten) schnell arrangiert und außergewöhnlich gut kocht.

Der Aufenthalt war durch die sehr persönliche Betreuung wundervoll.

Ens hi vam allotjar 3 nits. És un lloc molt tranquil amb unes habitacions molt boniques, molt netes i grans. Teníem dutxa amb aigua calenta i bona pressió, aire acondicionat i un llit molt còmode. Vam estar súper bé i la Chaya ens va cuidar com si fóssim de la família. Ens va ajudar en tot (reserves d’excursions, transports…), ens va donar molts bons consells i ens va cuinar uns plats espectaculars. No podeu deixar d’allotjar-vos aquí!!! Repetirem segur ❤️❤️

I stayed at Yaluwa for two nights, and I honestly don’t know how she does it, but hostess Chaya prepares an incredibly delicious meal for every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is freshly prepared right on the spot. After three weeks in Sri Lanka and having eaten so much amazing food, Yaluwa was by far the best. I would genuinely come back just for the food! The room was also exceptionally good value for money. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable and luxurious. If you book a tour, definitely ask for Ajith. He’s a tuk-tuk driver, but you really get a driver and a guide all in one. He’s incredibly passionate about sharing his knowledge of the area, the temples, and Buddhism. And he’s such a kind and pleasant person to spend time with. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Yaluwa more. I would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at Yaluwa Tourist Rest. The host is such a kind and sweet lady. From the moment we arrived, she was always happy to help us organise activities and make our stay as nice as possible. The food is also amazing! She cooks with fresh ingredients and everything was delicious. We definitely recommend joining her cooking class, where she shares some of her tasty recipes. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. She is helped in the kitchen by two other lovely ladies, and together they are a great team! She also works with local tuk-tuk drivers who charge fair prices, similar to PickMe, which was very convenient. We really recommend this homestay, especially because of the lovely host. She made us feel very welcome and made our stay extra special! ❤️

Das Zimmer ist sehr großzügig, alles ist sehr schön, neu, sauber und modern ausgestattet, dass Bett groß und komfortabel. Die Anlage hat einen schönen Garten, in dem sich auch der schöne Essbereich befindet - also Mahlzeiten mit Blick ins Grüne! Wir haben die Unterkunft für Zwischenstop zwischen Bahnhof Colombo und Wilpattu benötigt. Da es etwas außerhalb ist, hat man seine Ruhe. Die Managerin spricht sehr gut Englisch, ist sehr professionell und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns auch bei den Transfers geholfen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Nous ne pouvons que conseiller un séjour dans ce super petit hôtel. L’hôte est à l’image de la ville, authentique! Chaya est une personne aux petits soins, toujours prête à aider pour rendre notre séjour aussi parfait que possible. Nous avions eu une grande chambre très bien ! Le personnel qui entoure Chaya est également chaleureux, bienveillant et toujours souriant ! Les repas sont incroyablement excellents. Nous vous conseillons de prendre les tours de la ville qu’elle propose car ils permettent de voir le plus important et nous avons eu un incroyable chauffeur / guide (un immense merci à Ajith). Enfin, c’était parfait ! Nous sommes repartis triste de laisser ce havre de paix.

Amazing stay! Nice and very clean room in a very nice area. But the best about this stay is the host - Yaluwa. She is a very kind and welcoming person. It feels like you staying with your aunt. She linked us with an amazing tuk tuk guide. Make sure to opt for cooking class as well. That was fun and very tasty! Thank you!

Chaya ist eine absolut freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Die Bungalows sind super sauber und liegen in einer kleinen sehr gepflegten Parkanlage. Frühstück sowie Abendessen waren sehr lecker, frisch gekocht und absolut authentisch. Wir können nicht nur das Guest House sondern auch den Kochkurs nur empfehlen.

Værten var usædvanlig gæstfri , hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld. Morgenmaden var fantastisk. Værten var yderst hjælpsom med at finde forslag til, hvad vi kunne være interesseret i at opleve i området. Hun fandt en meget dygtig tourguide Amara, som viste os Mihintale. Derudover havde vi en fantastisk oplevelse med at deltage i cooking class, hvor vi lærte om lokale srilankanske retter.

L' accueil de Chaya nous a enchanté! Elle a été aux petits soins, tout en étant très respectueuse. La nourriture était excellente et très généreuse. Nous avons pu y dîner. Nous avons adoré ses petits déjeuners et toutes les attentions qui venaient avec. Idem pour la chambre qui était très propre et confortable. Également, nous avons pu profiter de ses connaissances (guides) et de ses conseils pour visiter les divers sites d' Anuradhapura. Elle nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour selon nos envies et nos besoins. Chaya offre également la location de vélos pour aller au site archéologique. Enfin, Yaluwa est situé dans un environnement calme et nous avons pu profiter de son magnifique jardin arboré. Vraiment, un coup de coeur !! Nous recommandons vivement!

Large and conformable room with a private terrace. On arrival I immediately felt relaxed and content. It is wonderfully quiet and peaceful with a garden full of trees and flowers. Chaya has excellent English and I was able to explore and she to explain and facilitate lots of options for sightseeing and transportation. You can opt for an evening meal which was brilliant with a choice of 5 vegetarian...as requested.. curries. Breakfast was plentiful and made up of traditional Sri Lanka food which varied ea h morning. I would highly recommend staying here and using it as a base to explore the surrounding area.

Our host , Chaya is very dedicated in her assistance to her guests. Breakfast was freshly cooked in frontbof us. ... the papaya f fresh juice was amazing !! Room was spacious. Garden is well maintained and neat. We enjoyed such a peaceful atmosphere. The ancient town is very near ( 15 mins in a tuk tuk) Dinner prepared by her was tasty n delicious

オーナーの女性がとても親切でした。 寺院を周るトゥクトゥクのチャーターとガイドをしてくださる方を紹介してくれました。 アヌラーダプラに着く前にツアーガードにぼったくりされそうになりとても不快な思いをしたので 良いガイドさんを紹介していただいて助かりました。

・シャワーを浴びる時、トイレの便座にシャワーがかかる配置になっていたのはやや気になりました。 ・この宿だけでなくスリランカの宿全体に密閉性がない宿が多いので、虫に慣れていない私には虫が入ってきたら嫌だなとは思いました。

Quiet with lovely area to sit outside our room. The owner was genuinely interested and cared about our needs. Hot water, comfy bed great food would stay again.

部屋の設備は何も問題なく快適でした。アヌラーダプラの寺院めぐりのためのアドバイスをしてくれて助かりました。食事はボリュームが多くて食べきれませんでした。近くにスーパーもあるので、特に問題ないです。入口から部屋までにいく庭も整備されていてきれいです。

Very nice staff and the host is very helpful organising tours and making sure guests are comfortable. Beautiful location and very nice food with big portions.

It would be nice if there was an option to pay through the app or via card and if prices were quoted in the local currency as it is a little inconvenient finding an ATM and calculating conversion rates

Ein top sauberes Zimmer, Yaluwa und ihr Personal waren sehr freundlich und sprachen sehr gut zu verstehendes englisch. Die Unterkunft hat einen sehr schönen Garten und auch das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig.

Lovely and quiet place. The food was really good and the owner really nice and helpful. She gave my really good tips for the temples visits and called for a TukTuk each time I needed one.

Very old fashion room Cooking class : not a cooking class as you just watch what the host is doing and write down the recipes. After asking to participate the host didn’t look and sound very friendly. All of this for 25$ pp ! You can definitely find a more interactive, more genuine and less expensive cooking class in Sri Lanka !

De eigenaresse van de homestay en het personeel zijn ontzettend lief!! Ze hebben ons overal mee geholpen en de kamers zijn helemaal nieuw en heel schoon. We hebben een kookles gehad en dat was erg leerzaam en heel lekker

This place is superb, spacious, clean accommodation. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful, they organised a very knowledgeable tut tut driver who took us on two half day tours at a good price Breakfast and dinner was traditional Sri Lankan and very good quality and value for money. Wonderful luxurious room in a small building within the garden. You would not know you were in a town, it is in a quiet residential area surrounded by nature. The owner was a superb cook and I did the cooking class which I fully recommend. I'd definitely stay here again, the facilities and particularly all the staff were great

Chaya ist eine herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin und verwöhnte uns zusammen mit ihren zwei Helferinnen. Die Bungalow-Zimmer sind ganz neu, sehr sauber mit einem sehr modernen, schönem Bad. Chaya organisierte uns einen tollen Tuktukfahrer, welcher uns durch die ancent city begleitete und ganz viel interessantes erzählen konnte. Für den zweiten Tag hatten wir den Wunsch, einen touristisch unbekannten Ort zu besuchen. Der vorgeschlagene antike buddhistische Felsentempel in Thanthirimale war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis! Vielen Dank für alles!

We hebben heel erg genoten van dit verblijf. Het appartement was heel ruim en schoon en het ontbijt heerlijk. De eigenaresse is erg behulpzaam en grappig! Je moet bij haar zeker de cooking class volgen, ze kan zo lekker koken (7 verschillende curry’s😋) en ze gebruikt ingrediënten zodat je het thuis ook kunt maken, super blij mee😍 We hebben alle avonden bij haar gegeten.

Alles was perfect!

Wat een heerlijke fijne plek. De kamers zijn erg ruim en netjes van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelf een koelkastje op de kamer. Het bed is groot en slaapt heerlijk ook is er een muskieten net. De douche was ook ruim en had heerlijk warm water. De kamers bevinden zich in een erg mooie onderhouden tuin waar je vanaf je terrasje inkijkt. De cookingclass was top en het was nog beter om het daarna op te eten. Een heerlijke uitgebreide rijst met curry. Het ontbijt was ook fantastisch wij kregen in overleg zoete dingen en vers fruit. De eigenaresse is een lieve en gezellige hardwerkende dame en we gunnen haar veel gasten. Deze plek heeft ons hart gestolen en we komen zeker terug.

Un repas exceptionnel alors que nous avions omis de réserver. Une hôte vraiment sympathique et aux petits soins. Un jardin magnifique. Tout est réuni pour passer un moment mémorable. Restez dîner car cela vaut vraiment le détour.

Die Gastgeberin Chaya, ist super hilfsbereit und nebenbei die beste Köchin, der wir auf unserer Reise begegnet sind. Dementsprechend war die Cooking Class auch ein super Erlebnis! Die Zimmer waren soweit fein.

Nur 10m neben dem Essbereich wird permanent Müll, Zweige oder Pflanzen verbrannt - ja, es ist ein Homestay und soll authentisch sein, aber der Smog war in allen Klamotten, die wir dort anhatten und auch die Haare haben gestunken wie verrückt… Das war schon echt nicht gut. Internet funktioniert in dem hinteren der beiden neuen Unterkünfte nicht wirklich.

Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Chaya ist herzliche Besitzerin, die sich mit viel Engagement um ihre Gäste kümmert. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Bungalow mit Terrasse und Blick in den perfekt gepflegten Dschungel-Garten. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb, daher sehr ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders begeistert hat uns das fantastische Essen – frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Eine kleine Kräuter-Schulung im Garten gab es ebenfalls. Für die Ausflüge zur Ancient City, Mihintale und zum Wilpattu NP wurde für uns Dhammika als Tuktuk-Fahter organisiert, der uns mit seinem Wissen und seiner angenehmen Art echt begeistert hat. Die Weiterreise nach Sigiriya übernahm dann Nachbar zu einem fairen Preis. Klare Weiterempfehlung! Herzlichen Dank an Chaya und ihre fleißigen Helferinnen!

L'accoglienza di Chaya è insuperabile, sempre presente, mai invadente e si può parlare di qualsiasi cosa. Cibo tipico molto buono e a buffet ogni mattina/sera. Menzione speciale per Ajith che ci ha fatto da guida per due tour e ci ha fatto scoprire la cultura buddista

Pochissimi difetti, se proprio dobbiamo trovarne sono: Wifi nella nostra stanza molto debole, bisogna stare nella zona comune per un buon segnale. Posizione per le attrazioni decentrata ma l'host riesce comunque ad organizzare tutti gli spostamenti

This is my third time at Yaluwa and I would recommend it highly. The hostess Chaiya is friendly and very accommodating of any dietary needs. The home cooking is delicious and though we didn't take lessons you can sign up for Sri Lankan cooking classe iif you wish. This is somewhere between a homestay and a hotel so ideal if you like that kind of thing. There are no TVs but that didn't bother us at all. The WiFi is good if you need it. Yaluwa is a good base to visit the Sacred City, Mihintale and safaris at Wilpattu. Also a convenient stop on the way to Mannar, Jaffna or Trincomalee.

There is really nothing to dislike.

Die Unterkunft ist neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit Blick auf einen stilvollen Garten. Alles ist sehr sauber. Yaluwa ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, die immer um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht ist. Sie organisiert gute und preiswerte Fahrten, sowohl für Tagestouren als auch Taxis zur nächsten Unterkunft. Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist wunderbar. Gelegen ist die Unterkunft etwas abseits in wunderschöner Natur. Man braucht ohnehin einen Fahrer - warum sollte man dann im Getöse des Zentrums wohnen?

What a lovely place to stay in a beautiful little calm village just outside the city centre. Yaluwa was really helpful in organising tours and tuk tuk drivers. And the food is sooooo good. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Gezellige accomodatie met een mooie tuin. Hierin staan diverse hutjes waar je in slaapt. Kamer is groot en heel schoon. Goed bed, douche met warm water. Locatie ligt een stukje van het centrum/ de tempel, maar met een tuktuk ben je er zo. Voor 8 dollar kun je mee-eten in de avond, en dan krijg je een echt goeie maaltijd. Prijs is relatief laag, je krijgt waar voor je geld. De gastvrouw is een sterke vrouw, die alleen de homestay runt. Daar kun je alleen maar bewondering voor hebben!

Gastvrouw wil alles goed voor je regelen. Dat is lief bedoeld, maar zit erg 'bovenop' je, niets wordt aan het toeval overgelaten. Als je ervan houdt ontzorgd te worden, is dat fijn. Voor ons was het enigszins benauwend. Ontbijtjes zijn een beetje experimenteel naar onze smaak ;)

Amazing home cooked meals, plenty of food and various options. We stayed 3 nights and ended up eating every meal here. Helpful and friendly host, who arranged tours, onwards transport and laundry for us. There is a small super market a few minutes walk for water and essentials.

The room was comfortable and had tea and coffee making facilities which suited our needs. We had a great breakfast and paid for evening meal which was a range of different Sri Lankan dishes. The transfer to the hotel was sorted by the host and yours were arranged so that pick up was directly at the accommodation. Great stay overall.

We liked this place so much we returned this time, 2 years later. We were delighted to see a couple of new rooms had been added. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. She made sure the food varied from day to day and was happy to arrange trips to the ancient city and Mihintale too. She is not at all pushy about the trips. As we arrived late in the afternoon and didn’t want to go out for dinner she very kindly cooked a traditional meal for us. The hotels we stayed at had very few vegetables in their buffets, but at Yaluwa there was always a variety of vegetable curries and side dishes. The owner was very accommodating to our driver, professional and kind. I really cannot fault her. If you are looking for the genuine Sri Lankan welcome rather than a predictable hotel that could be anywhere in the world, then Yaluwa is for you. Our room was spacious with AC, mosquito repellant and a mosquito net too. The bed was large and comfortable. There is a outside seating area and a lovely homely garden.

If I were being very picky I could suggest having an extra pillow

Super freundliche Gastgeberin man fühlt sich extrem willkommen. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Das Zimmer geräumig und komfortabel. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

Enorm gastvrije host. Konden direct aanschuiven voor het diner (heerlijk!) en wilde meteen van alles voor ons regelen/meedenken qua tours. Heerlijk bed en fijne kamer.

Koude douche (maar bij dit klimaat was dat ook wel weer prima)

Alles was perfect. De gastvrouw is super lief en helpt je met alles. Van stadstour tot safari, ze wil alles voor je regelen. De kamer was ruim en schoon.

Deze plek is een absolute aanrader als je in Anuradhapura verblijft! Wij komen zeker terug als we weer in Sri Lanka zijn. Chaya is een ontzettend goede host! Ze is duidelijk en eerlijk, ze heeft humor en ze is zeker ook lief en zorgzaam. De tours door Anuradhapura hebben we via haar geregeld, dit was ontzettend leuk, Adgi is een geweldige gids! Ook kan Chaya heerlijk koken, we hebben een kookcursus bij haar gedaan, ook echt een aanrader! Super leuk en heerlijke gerechten! Helaas was mijn vriend ziek geworden, Chaya's plek was eigenlijk volgeboekt maar desondanks heeft ze ons geholpen en konden we nog een nacht blijven. Erg behulpzaam!

We stayed at Yaluwa Tourist Resort and also joined the cooking class. The hostess and her family were so welcoming and kind. Our room was big, clean and had everything we needed, even mosquito protection. The food and all other offers are very fair priced. What we loved most is how the hostess shares about her country and culture, and how much she also cares for the local community. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Ne réfléchissez pas, réservez ici ! L'hôte est adorable, elle arrange tout pour vous : le safari a des prix deux fois moins chère que sur internet, le tuktuk qui vient vous chercher et vous ramène à la gare a ses frais, des excursions dans des temples environnant, les repas qui sont excellents etc... Shaya est a l'écoute de vos moindres envies et besoin et sa maison est parfaitement entretenu. Les chambres sont super confortables, propres, il y a de l'eau chaude, et de la climatisation. Vous dejeunerez même avec un spectacle d'écureuils. Vous l'aurez compris, ce logement a tout pour vous faire passer un séjour incroyable et efficace pour ce qui n'ont pas de temps a perdre pour découvrir le Sri lanka.

Rien a redire, tout était parfait

Nous avons fortement apprécié la chambre (grand lit, bonne literie et bonne climatisation) ainsi que l’expérience au sein de l’établissement. L’hôte a été très accueillante, disponible et présente.

Tout était parfait mais l’envie de trop bien faire de l’hôte peut être intrusive pour certains voyageurs.

Super Cooking class à Yaluwa, nous avons appris beaucoup de choses ! Petit déjeuner de super qualité. En plus l’hôte nous a trouvé un chauffeur au top pour la visite de la ville :)

Un petit peu plus de rangement serait super

Leider verbrachten wir nur eine Nacht in dieser Unterkunft, aber wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist ausgesprochen freundlich und das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die gesamte Unterkunft und das Gelände sind sehr gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war ein kleines, charmantes Häuschen mit einer eigenen kleinen Terrasse. Für uns war es bisher die schönste und gepflegteste Unterkunft in ganz Sri Lanka! Unfortunately, we only spent one night at this accommodation, but we really enjoyed our time there. The host is extremely friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The entire property and surroundings are very well maintained. Our room was a small, charming little house with its own terrace. For us, it was the most beautiful and well-kept place we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka so far!

Leider liegt die Unterkunft ein bisschen außerhalb der Stadt. Zu Fuß wäre es uns zu weit gewesen. Mit dem Tuk-Tuk ist es aber absolut kein Problem. Unfortunately, the accommodation is located a bit outside the city. It would have been too far for us to walk, but getting there by tuk-tuk is absolutely no problem.

La struttura è ben tenuta e le stanze sono molto pulite (con aria condizionata). In bagno si ha disponibilità di acqua fredda e calda per la doccia. Si ha la possibilità di usufruire della cena (ovviamente cucina dello Sri Lanka, senza troppa possibilità di scelta essendo un Home Stay, ma molto saporita ed abbondante). Colazione anch'essa in stile singalese ottima ed abbondante. La proprietaria è molto disponibile a dare tutte le indicazioni e dritte per visitare la zona dei templi nel migliore dei modi e compatibilmente con le proprie esigenze. Ad un prezzo aggiuntivo, ci sta anche la possibilità di partecipare a cooking class ( che purtroppo non abbiamo avuto modo di usufruire per i tempi stretti ).

La camera è spaziosa, pulita e con un bagno molto grande. Inoltre davanti al patio c’è un giardino bellissimo e curato, con scoiattolini che corrono sugli alberi! È davvero un posto meraviglioso, rilassante dove nulla è lasciato al caso. Colazione abbondante e preparata al momento, cena squisita! È davvero un’oasi di pace dove ricaricare le batterie!

Letto comodissimo, stanza con aria condizionata e zanzariera nuova sul letto. Giardino magnifico, curato in ogni dettaglio. La cucina è deliziosa e la compagnia di Chaya è brillante, sapendo dare consigli e risposte adatti a tutte le esigenze, a prezzi onesti. Consigliamo il giro dei templi con il suo amico driver Ajhid e il taxi con Lahiru.

Zeer lieve gastvrouw die er alles aan doet om het je naar de zin te maken. Het is een heerlijke rustige plek iets verder van het centrum maar met de tuk tuk geen enkel probleem.

Nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel avec Shaya pour plusieurs raisons : le confort des chambres, le très joli jardin, l’excellente cuisine de Shaya et son équipe, le cours de cuisine (un moment privilégié et unique)… Ces deux jours seront gravés à vie dans nos coeurs. Merci Shaya pour ta bienveillance, ton humour et ton sourire !! Nous repartons le coeur serré.

De rust, de gastvrijheid, het heerlijke eten. We hebben veel activiteiten ondernomen in de korte tijd dat we hier waren, maar we kwamen hier helemaal tot rust en werden uitstekend bediend. Chaya is een warm en eerlijk persoon die het verblijf net wat specialer maakte. De cooking class was top, ook voor onze kinderen.

Niets, alleen even lastig om de douche op temperatuur te krijgen.

We hebben een geweldige twee dagen gehad. Erg lieve gastvrouw. Ze zet zich echt in voor haar gasten om het zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Big shoutout to Jimmey, erg lieve hond!

Een puntje van verbetering is de douche. Het water komt deels de gang op.

Personnel très sympathique et accueillant. La propriétaire est particulièrement serviable, souriante et avenante, et fait tout pour organiser les activités au mieux. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le cours de cuisine (currys excellents) ainsi que le petit-déjeuner copieux et savoureux. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres, climatisées, avec une literie confortable, et les salles de bain impeccables. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques et bien entretenus. L’ensemble a largement dépassé nos attentes.

Le tarif du cours de cuisine nous a semblé un peu élevé pour un groupe de 5, même s’il est clairement affiché. A y repenser j'aurais dû demander un discount.

Nuestra estancia fue inmejorable. No solo por las comodidades de la habitación y el jardin tan bonito sino también por la presencia de Chaya, ella hace que te sientas como en casa, te ayuda a planificar tus dias en la zona y te consigue lo que necesites. Nosotros hicimos un dia la visita a Anuradhapura y Mihintale y el segundo dia hicimos su clase de cocina (recomendable 100% ¡cocina de maravilla!) y fuimos a una piscina que ella nos buscó. Es una casa de la que te vas muy contento gracias a Chaya.

On ne le dira plus assez... Chaya fait vraiment tout pour que cela soit impeccable et cela l'est! C'est l'hébergement le plus nickel que nous ayons eu! Le mobilier est complet et très joli. Le lit est confortable. Tout est très bien. On a pu rester un peu plus tard que le check out car Chaya n'avait pas encore de réservation pour notre chambre. Nous y avons dîné et c'était très bon. J'ai également suivi le cours de cuisine qui était très intéressant. Un conseil pour Chaya: no stress car Chaya met la barre très haute Chaya, je te souhaite beaucoup de succès dans ton entreprise et j'espère que tu seras très heureuse

La anfitriona que lleva el alojamiento es encantadora y cocina de maravilla. El desayuno tradicional que está incluido en el precio está delicioso y te lo hace en el momento. Además tomamos la cena una noche y nos encantó El alojamiento es sencillo, pero completo y muy limpio. Una excelente calidad-precio. Recomiendo este alojamiento 100%

Eten was heerlijk, verblijf was schoon, gastvrouw was erg behulpzaam!

De eigenaresse is ontzettend attent en kan heerlijk koken. De tour naar Mihintale en Anaradhapura hebben we ook via haar geboekt en de gids was ontzettend goed.

Hele lieve gastvrouw, lekker bed, goede airco, schoon, ruime kamer. Optie tot dineren op locatie, verse traditionele heerlijke gerechten. De kookcursus was ook erg leuk.

Shaya est adorable ! Aux petits soins ! N’hésitez pas à lui demander un guide, les coordonnées d’un tuktuk ou encore où vous pouvez acheter un sari ! Elle connaît tout et tout le monde, et sera de bons conseils !!!! La chambre était impeccable ! En plus, nous avons pu laver notre linge, tip top! Climatisation parfaite, propreté parfaite! Et possibilité de lui prendre des bières bien fraîche, le top après une journée bien chargée ! Encore merci !

Todo. El alojamiento son casitas individuales y esto da mucha privacidad. La cama es estupenda, estaba todo muy muy limpio. El aire acondicionado y el agua caliente funcionan genial. Además el entorno rodeado de plantas es idílico y la dueña es maravillosa. Nos ayudó en todo y encima cocina absolutamente espectacular. No dudéis en reservar este lugar, es perfecto.

Het is een prachtige kamer en zeer gastvrije dames. De kookles is ook een aanrader!

Erg fijne overnachtingsplek. Lekker rustig iets buiten het centrum. Eigenaar kan gidsen en kookcurcussen verzorgen. :)

Eigenaresse runt haar homestay met passie. Ze zorgt goed voor haar gasten, lief voor de kinderen, denkt mee en heeft een netwerk voor tours en vervoer wat betrouwbaar is. Zeer schoon, fijne bedden en douche, en heerlijk gegeten een fijne overdekte buiten keuken!

Un accueil formidable, le calme au milieu de la nature, de succulents repas, des installations au top, que demander de plus?

Zuvorkommendes Personal. Lage etwas entfernt von der Stadt, es gibt allerdings viele preiswerte Angebote von der Besitzerin, um sich mit einem Tuk-Tuk Fahrer Anuradhapura anzusehen. Essen war ausgezeichnet und im Kochkurs kann man viel lernen. Hatten 2 kleine Frösche im Bad, aber kann man bei dem Klima nicht verhindern. Wunderschön gepflegter Garten, wie eine grüne Oase.

C'est un petit paradis sur terre: Le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu et là on s'y retrouve dans un espace cuisine ouvert sur la nature. La nourriture est très bien faite avec de bons produits frais, cuisinés avec soin et en fonction des goûts des hôtes. Le logement était très propre, c'est d'ailleurs une constante à cette adresse. L'accueil est absolument chaleureux et bienveillant, c'est vraiment une excellente adresse où on peut y aller les yeux fermés.

Yaluwa is een parel in Anuradhapura. Een klein paradijsje dat liefdevol gerund wordt door Chaya. Een geweldige gastvrouw die je helpt om iedere stap van je verblijf om te toveren tot een memorabel moment. Wij hebben genoten van haar aandacht voor alle details, haar eten (onovertroffen) en alle vriendelijkheid van haar en haar staff (aké bedankt). Voor ons zou er in Anuradhapura geen andere plaats zijn waar wij liever terug zouden keren dan naar Yaluwa.

Alles was perfect

This place is an oasis of calm, the garden is beautiful and sheltered from the heat and the bed is very comfy. I will be telling everyone I know coming to Sri Lanka that they need to stay here. The hostess is very generous with her time and advice on what to do and arranged helpful and knowledgeable tuktuk drivers. The food was incredible (we had dinner and breakfast here both days) which were made in her outdoor kitchen area which is also beautiful. I cannot recommend a stay here enough!

Super lieve vrouw die het perfect voor je wil regelen. Ze heeft in haar directe kringen netwerk voor tours, taxi’s etc. ‘s avonds heeft ze heerlijk gekookt voor ons. Kamer was nieuw met goede ac en prima badkamer. Zeker aan te raden!

Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, eine kleine Oase in dieser Stadt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, wir wurden verwöhnt mit tollem Essen und viel Gastfreundschaft. Der Garten ist schön grün und ruhig, die Zimmer geräumig und komfortabel eingerichtet.Wir haben selten so gut geschlafen wie hier. Die Gastgeberin Yaluma hilft einem bei allem, gibt wertvolle Tipps und macht einen tollen Job. Wenn man in Anuradhapura ist, unbedingt hier übernachten. Wenn man genügend Zeit hat, eine Cooking Class buchen.. :)
