The nicest hosts. They helped us with everything and made great breakfast. They even showed zahle they make it and we learned a lot about the culture from them. The best.

Some barking dogs in the neighborhood but they helped us and picked us up from the street:)

Wir wurden von Chandana bereits am Mittag herzlich empfangen. Das Ehepaar bemüht sich, unseren Aufenthalt angenehm und interessant zu gestalten. Zum erkunden der historischen Stätten erhalten wir von Tushari hilfreiche Tipps, ebenso hören wir Interessantes über Land und Leute. Da die Sehenswürdigkeiten weit auseinander liegen ist es praktisch, ein eigenes Fahrzeug zu haben.Das Frühstück ist aussergewöhnlich lecker und reichhaltig, jeden Tag mit unterschiedlichen traditionellen Speisen, die Chandana zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und hell, einfach und praktisch eingerichtet. AC und Ventilator funktionieren einwandfrei. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen, grünen Quartier. Wir können einen Aufenthalt hier sehr empfehlen!

Very quiet location on the end of the street. Nice spacious house. Clean room and bathroom. Good airco. A shower with hot water. Great breakfast.

When we arrived there was no water for a few hours. After the son returned it was quickly solved. Evening meal was not possible, contrary to the information on booking.

Great location just a short tuk tuk ride away from town center. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Hosts were very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious. We loved our stay here and would come back again.

My stay at Green Villa was absolutely wonderful. The peaceful surroundings and comfortable accommodations made for a relaxing retreat. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect during my visit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Looking forward to returning

Interesting environment and breakfast

The room was super comfortable in a nice location, a bit outside the center, so very quiet. It also had a nice balcony. I‘ve got a delicious Avacado milkshake after arrival and was welcomed warmly. The garden is so beautiful, and you can see many animals when you sit down and just relax on the balcony. The owner gave me super tips for sightseeing and offered tours, it pays off to take part. The breakfast was delicious. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the food. As someone who values a healthy lifestyle, I was thrilled to find that Green Villa takes great pride in offering nutritious and delicious meals. Every dish was made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, bursting with flavor and packed with nutrients. The variety of healthy options on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone, whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or simply looking for wholesome, balanced meals. You will be very lucky to stay in this amazing property with the lovely Staff!

Beautiful old Villa located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Its a short ride by tuk tuk or 35 mins by walk to new bus station. Big shop is only 10 mins by walk. We were lucky to meet the whole family, it was easy and fun to talk to them. They prepared unique and delicious sri lankas breakfast for us. Thank you for letting us stay.

The room was super comfortable in a nice location, a bit outside the centre, so very quiet. It also had a nice balcony. The breakfast was delicious, especially on the day the owner was there. The owner is very warm and friendly.

The house feels a bit empty and there is a huge difference in the feel when the owner is there and when she is not. My first day she was not there, there was only one new staff, that could hardly speak English.

Lovely staff very helpful! The villa is beautiful it’s a bit sad it is so empty with only one staff to take care of it. The room was great with our own bathroom we really loved our stay here ! Such a beautiful and peaceful place 🫶🏼

Everything was great

It was relatively convenient to the Ancient City. The beds were comfortable. On the Weekend when the owners were present they were very generous with their time to help us go places and do shopping. Wi-Fi was available.

The stairs were too challenging for my elderly companion so we stayed in two rooms-one upstairs and one downstairs. This was an obstacle to staying in contact. The owners were not present during the week and we had to manage food and transportation on our own, which was a challenge.

The family is so friendly, really good service.

The house is past it's glory days due to the family moving out half. But operating half it was still a great place to stay.
