Kaikki oli todella hyvää tässä hotellissa. Rauhallinen sijainti vaikka junarata on lähellä. Keskustan melut eivät kuulu. Hotellin työntekijät erittäin mukavia ja avuliaita. Uima-allas siisti ja hieno! Aamupala oli todella täyttävä ja hyvä! Tykkäsimme paikasta erittäin paljon!

Dommage qu'au check in il n'y est pas eu d'informations sur le petit dej, piscine, activites, etc... Et que pendant les 4 jours nous n'avons pas eu d'eau a disposition (pour ce prix en générale c'est le cas)

Big rooms, gorgeous pool, clean very nice bathrooms, great location and lovely owner and staff. Our best stay in Sri Lanka. An absolute must!

Loved everything about this hotel, the staff (especially the owner/manager) were so lovely, attentive, helpful, friendly and make sure you feel very comfortable. The rooms are big, extremely clean, decorated nicely, with a fridge, big bathroom, wardrobe, comfy bed, seating in the room and on the big balcony. You can also use the kitchen as you please and the hotel is in a great location

Centrally located, great pool, monkey visits in the garden, we really appreciated the personal connection with the manager, always responsive, available and friendly. And he gives good massages on the premises too (cheap!). We felt like staying at a friend’s.

We got an extra bed in our room for our child which was a bit wobbly.

We stayed here for one week and everything was perfect. Location is really good. Area is peaceful even it is really near by beach street where you can find everything you need. Nice villa with pool and shared kitchen. Owner and staff are also really friendly

By far the best accommodation we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Such good value for money, beautiful modern room with extremely comfy beds, modern interior, balcony and lots of space. Warm shower. Lovely pool. The breakfast was incredible and the staff were so attentive and gave us everything we needed, including drinks on arrival. Short walk from the Main Street

Its so close to galle road, 5.mins walk and another 5 to the beach.. What makes this place is the staff. They are amazing, so kind, attentive, and friendly. The manager is very helpful and kind and ladies who work in the day so sweet.nothing is too much trouble. I was give. A daily smoothie and 4pm laye checkout for free. The pool is great and you can feed the resident monkeys who come to visit each day. There is a fridge in the room, a large balcony,and a good AC. I asked for a kettle for me room which i was given too.There is a shared kitchen too, which makes things easy. You can have a sti lanka meal on site for $8, which was tasty. There are only 8 rooms so feels homely, and all guests mingle and be friendly Bring good ear plugs as the train can be heard into into the nignt as can outside noise.

The bed was very hard and room has some unclean parts

Initially I booked this place only for 2 nights, then I extended it to 5 nights because it was such a nice, clean, well organized, peaceful place with great staff. Delicious & healthy breakfasts in the morning.

Good location very close to the beach but not at the main road, so very quiet. Rooms are very spacious and clean. There is a nice little pool to cool off and everyone is extremely nice. This was one of my favorite accommodations I stayed in during my whole Sri Lanka trip.

We absolutely loved this place. We booked in initially for 2 nights as a bit of a treat after a long time travelling and it felt like such a paradise we ended up staying for 5 days. The pool is so lovely and clean, there’s a well stocked kitchen you can use, AC and fan in each of the huge bedrooms. It’s all immaculate, well decorated and 5 mins from turtle beach. Though we only actually went to the beach to see the turtles and baby sharks not to actually swim since we loved the villa so much. The staff were so lovely and we would definitely come back.

La habitación es amplia, muy bonita y bien hecha. Las piscina entre árboles y cuidada. Hay una cocina que puedes usar. Los espacios comunes decorados y agradables, todo con un estilo hippie muy bonito

El maps te manda por un camino más largo, pero una vez alli encuentras el camino que sale a la via principal atravesando la via del tren. El tren se oye pasar pero no molesta, tienen buenas ventanas.

We loved our stay at Jippie the Villa. Our room on the ground floor was clean, modern and spacious, with direct access to the beautiful pool. We stayed here after the busy season, and had the property almost to ourselves, which was an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, away from the main street so nice and quiet, but just a short walk along a path and over the railway tracks to restaurants, shops and a supermarket on the main road. Highly recommend

Habitación limpia y espaciosa. Bonita decoración. La piscina estaba muy bien. Lugar y personal muy agradable.

Personalet var meget søde og venlige. De var også rigtig hjælpsomme, da en gekko fik gemt sig i AC’en og de tilbød os et andet værelse.

Hele mooie smaakvol ingerichte kamers. Zwembad zag er ook netjes uit maar geen gebruik van gemaakt. De bedden waren prima en de kamers was groot. We hadden 2 kamers die onderling verbonden waren met een deur, ideaal voor gezinnen.

Klein stukje wandelen van de hoofdstraat. Niet erg en goed te doen.

We were greeted very hospitably with juice despite our late arrival. The room is large with a good bed and pillows and a large balcony overlooking the pool. There was a good pressure of hot water in the shower. We enjoyed our stay very much, a huge thank you to this place and people 🫶🏻 at the end we were given a magnet as a souvenir

Staying at Jippie was like staying at home. The hosts are super friendly, you can use the shared kitchen, the pool is clean, the rooms are spacy and clean, the location is great and there are even monkeys.

The rooms was big and the pool was nice, the staff was kind.

The description stated that a 45-minute massage per day and access to a spa were included. However, when we arrived, there was no information about these services, and the staff never mentioned them, which was very disappointing since this was a key reason for booking the hotel. In addition to this, we experienced several other issues during our stay: - When we paid in cash, we did not receive our change until we specifically asked for it. - The towels had a sour smell and stains on them. - The bed linens had holes in them. One bedside lamp and one ceiling light wasn’t working. There was a sewage smell in the bathroom. Considering the price, we expected a higher standard, but unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to what was promised in the description and other reviews.

Great place to stay, comfortable bed and a really spacious room. A big pool to cool down and chill after a hot day. The manager and staff are amazing, very friendly and supportive. Would definitely come again.

This is a very well designed small hotel with a lovely pool, an excellent kitchen and eating area for use by guests. We had adjoining rooms which was perfect for our situation, with a cot and extra bed for the grandchildren. There are lots of very pleasant communal seating areas too. Our grandchildren were very comfortable in the hotel! On the first night both children were sick making a mess of beds and there was a very sympathetic and swift response, replacing the bedding. A fridge in the rooms as well as 2 fridges in the kitchen is brilliant. The hotel is also very close to the town - 2 minutes from the main road, a supermarket and the beach. The railway is nearby but it was not terribly noisy. The cleaner spent the entire day keeping things very clean. The owner was very helpful and concerned to ensure everyone was comfortable. Probably the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka.

Super WiFi and constant hot water. Rooms were big with loads of space for bags. Balcony had rail to dry clothes along with pegs. Pool was clean and sun loungers available. Staff were very polite and helpful allowing us to leave our bags locked away safely after we checked out as our flight wasn’t until 10pm that night

This place was absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful rooms, stunning and clean common areas, gorgeous pool, and relaxing garden. The housekeeper keeps the place in pristine condition too and is very friendly. Location is good and 5 min walk to the main road and beach. Loved my time here and can't recommend it enough!

My second time staying here. Huge rooms, comfy beds, beautiful staff and a clean pool. By crossing the train tracks you are only a couple minutes walking away from the main street. When my air con wasn't working I was moved into another room straight away and I was also allowed to stay longer then the official checkout time, thanks for that!
