Wir sind herzlich empfangen worden mit einem Cocktail,netten Gesprächen,dann durften wir auch schon in unser Zimmer,das sehr groß war.Der Pool vor der Terrassentür war genial,das war auch gut so,da wir uns es nicht wagten in den großen Wellen mit Unterströmung zu baden.Das Frühstück war mega lecker und sehr reichhaltig.Manchmal gibt es sogar Sauerteigbrot,das im Ort gebacken wird.Man kann dort auch Bier und Wein erwerben.Ein Surfpoint ist 15 min zu Fuß entfernt.

Es gib für uns nichts negatives zu berichten.

Gefallen hat uns: Natürlich das Frühstück. Auch die Betreuung durch das Personal. Wir haben ein Upgrad erhalten, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Die Lage des Hotels, unmittelbar am Strand und nicht weit weg von Bentota ist top. Der Pool ist sehr einladend. Und endlich eine Dusche mit gutem Wasserdruck. Und allen postiven Bewertung anderer Gäste können wir gerne beipflichten.

We loved how affordable it was. Breakfast included every morning. We ended up extending our stay at late notice and the staff were so helpful. They also insisted we come back when we needed to move to another property in Hikkaduwa to work from home.

Vriendelijke mensen en de locatie ligt prachtig aan het strand. Heerlijk zwembad erbij. Ontbijt was uitgebreid, vooral het German Breakfast. Ook dichtbij bushaltes en het station, wanneer je met het openbaar vervoer wilt.

Everything was great, the staff were very friendly, the food was good, and the hotel was very superb.

Wir waren hier zweimal auf unserer Reise. Das Hotel hat uns anfangs so überzeugt, dass wir am Ende als unser Flug storniert wurde, wiederkamen. Die Zimmer und sehr sauber und gepflegt, einfach eingerichtet aber man hat alles was man braucht. Super-Preis-Leistung eben. Die Dusche ist riesig und verfügt über Duschwände. Der Pool ist perfekt temperiert und man kann vom Pool aus auf das Meer schauen. Generell ist der Strandabschnitt total entspannt und weniger belebt. Man kann zwischen einheimischen und continentalen Frühstück wählen, beides sehr gut. Das Personal ist super und immer gut gelaunt. Wir hatten hier sogar die Möglichkeit einer Schildkröte spät abends beim brüten zuzusehen weil uns ein Hotelmitarbeiter darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat - ein unvergessbares Erlebnis.

Sehr sauberes Hotel zu unschlagbarem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr gutes Frühstück, abwechselnd auch richtige Brötchen. Restaurant mit gutem Esaen zu fairen (touristischen) Preisen. Lage direkt am Meer! Einfach herrlich.

Ett härligt ställe med skön pool, eftersom det är rätt höga vågor, lugnt och skönt, gång avstånd på stranden till turtle o hikkaduwa stranden, drivs av 2 män från Tyskland, som är så trevliga, går runt och frågar om att är bra, förövrigt så är personalen o resturangern 💫 vi kommer definitivt komma tillbaxs från Thomas&Lotta

My room needed to be fumigated as I had an ant infestation in the bathroom. The property itself is lovely and cosy. The hotel is right on the beach and the pool is outside your room. My AC broke down and was fixed instantly. Unfortunately the ant infestation made the stay uncomfortable.

The German owner was reasonable and apologetic but the duty manager turned on us and was rude and ignorant. He showed his true colours and was not professional.

Unser Aufenthalt im Pearl Island Beach Hotel war rundum perfekt. Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel ist wunderschön und ideal zum Entspannen. Auch der Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das Essen – alles war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet.

Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

Ich war vier Nächte im Pearl Island Beach Hotel und es hat sich absolut gelohnt. Ein wunderbar kleines, familiäres Beach-Hotel, in dem man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlfühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und persönlich – genau das Richtige, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Besonders schön ist das kleine Open-Air-Restaurant. Das Essen war fantastisch, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es gab ausreichend Liegestühle und der direkte Zugang zum Strand ist einfach perfekt. Der Strand selbst ist ein Traum: kilometerlanger Sandstrand, auf dem man oft ganz für sich ist. Man kann problemlos drei Kilometer nach links oder rechts laufen – einfach nur Meer, Sand und Weite. Kein Luxus-Hotel – aber ein absolut top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wer es familiär, entspannt und authentisch mag, ist hier genau richtig. Ich komme gerne wieder.

It was fantastic. Staff were friendly and very accommodating for everything we needed. Rooms were clean and comfy beds. Great place to stay. Free sun beds direct access to the beach. Pool was lovely and clean. Breakfasts were excellent. Would stay again definitely.very local for everything.

Es war die beste Unterkunft die ich in Sri Lanka hatte! Super Lage finde ich. Zwar etwas außerhalb, trotzdem ist man in ein paar Minuten mit dem TukTuk oder zu Fuß am Strand entlang in Hikkaduwa. Toller, breiter und sauberer Strandabschnitt. Sehr entspannt alles. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Es gibt einen Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Liegen und Sonnenschirme stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung. Gegenüber ist ein kleiner Supermarkt. Die Eigentümer sowie das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und angenehm. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und zum Frühstück gibt es wahlweise auch Sauerteigbrot :) Ich kann das Hotel absolut empfehlen und werde sicher wiederkommen. Außerdem kann man dort jeden Abend die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge anschauen.

Room comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice location, directly on the seafront with lovely clean beach. The small fresh water swimming pool was also very nice.

The only negative thing I would say is that everytime we went to have a shower, the water always seemed to be just tepid or cold. This may just have been a case of unfortunate timing.

Wir sind absolut begeistert von diesem Hotel direkt am Strand, etwas abseits vom Trubel von Hikkaduwa. Wer Ruhe, Meeresrauschen und ein stimmiges Inselambiente rund um einen wunderschönen Pool sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Unser Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten bzw. Innenhof war angenehm ruhig und sorgte sofort für Entspannung. Klimaanlage, Ventilator und Mückennetz boten gemeinsam mit dem sauberen, liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer und dem äußerst bequemen Bett einen hohen Komfort. Jeden Morgen wurde uns ein sehr leckeres Frühstück serviert – wahlweise kontinental oder sri-lankisch –, das wir mit Blick aufs Meeer genießen konnten. Unsere Tage verbrachten wir größtenteils im Hotel oder in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Alles, was man braucht, ist vor Ort und der Pool ist schlichtweg fantastisch. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die langen Spaziergänge am Strand sowie die imposanten Wellen, die dennoch zum Baden einluden, werden uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein authentisches und zugleich liebevoll geführtes Strandhotel mit tollem Service suchen. Wäre da nicht der feste Rückflug gewesen, hätten wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr gerne verlängert. Vielen Dank an Peter, Holger und Bobby und das restliche Team.

Fantastic location right on a quiet part of the beach. The staff were all exceptional and the food options were great! They even had speciality German bread on offer at breakfast. The 3 bedroom apartment with massive terrace overlooking the beach was gorgeous, spacious and very clean.

Очень дружелюбный персонал, лично владелец здоровается и общается, семейно-дружеская атмосфера, очень внимательный персонал, вкусная кухня, завтраки, сразу же пляж и океан, уютный бассейн, пальмовые бурундуки развлекают своим обитанием на дереве в центре территории, шикарный вид с первого этажа на океан, сетки от насекомых на кровати, просторная душевая/туалет совмещены, нет насекомых даже на территории отеля и внутри, очень уютно. Рядом серфинг школа и рестораны, так же много ресторанчиков на главной дороге за отелем, недалеко банкоматы

Если открыть шторы и занавески, то на первом этаже тебя все видят, так же на втором этаже коридор идет вдоль твоих окон. Волны в океане очень опасные и не спокойные в этом месте отеля, не для спокойного плавания, будто осторожны, не заходить далеко, затягивает и уносит при не осторожности. Нет TV в номере.

Ein toller Abschluss nach unserer Rundreise auf Sri Lanka. Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Stadt, sehr ruhig mit einem ruhigen Strandabschnitt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Das Frühstück konnte man im offenen Restaurant mit Blick auf das Meer genießen. Jeden 2. Tag gab es frische Brötchen vom Bäcker. Man merkt, dass das Hotel unter deutscher Leitung steht. Wir durften sogar noch kostenlos am letzten Tag bis 18.00 Uhr im Zimmer bleiben, da unser Rückflug nachts ging und wir um 18.00 Uhr vom Hotel abgeholt wurden. Vielen Dank an Holger und Peter!!!!!

We liked that it’s small. Location by the peaceful end of the beach was perfect for us.

Engering the propety was not appealing at all but when you come in further and discover the view by the pool towards the beach you don’t even care about the entry any more.

Perfekte Lage direkt am Strand, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, sehr gutes Frühstück und Restaurant und deutlich ruhiger als in Hikkaduwa selber, aber nah genug dran , um über den Strand in 20 Minuten im Zentrum zu sein.

Our 2nd visit and it’s the nicest spot we’ve stayed in whilst in SL. The location is fabulous and the staff are just the best anywhere!

Mooie locatie, prima kamer , mooi zwembad. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het restaurant heeft erg lekker eten en het ontbijt was ook goed.

De kamer is de 5 dagen niet schoongemaakt en er werd ook niet gevraagd of je dat wilde.

Bardzo czyste pokoje i cały teren hotelu. Obsługa kilka razy dziennie sprzątała basen. Bardzo dobra restauracja również z drinkami. Bardzo elastyczny manager przy nocnym locie za niedużą opłatą przedłużył nam pokój. Plaża bezpośrednio przy hotelu, dość szeroka czysta. W porównaniu do innych hoteli na Sri Lance ten mogę polecić w 100%

I had a very comfortable stay at Pearl Island Beach Hotel and honestly wish I had stayed for more than just one night. We originally booked three rooms, two triple pool view rooms and one double room. Upon arrival, we decided to book an additional sea view room. The triple rooms and the sea view room were very spacious, well laid out and perfect for relaxing. The double room was smaller in size, but it was still cozy, clean and comfortable. All the rooms were well maintained and equipped with air conditioning, which made the stay pleasant, especially in the warm weather. One of the best things about this hotel is its prime beachfront location. Stepping out and being right by the beach was a real highlight. The swimming pool was crystal clear and well looked after and the dining area was always neat, clean and well organised, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. From check in to check out, they made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Their hospitality truly added to the overall experience. Overall, Pearl Island Beach Hotel is a great place for a relaxing beach getaway. With comfortable rooms, a beautiful location, clean facilities and excellent service, it is definitely a hotel I would return to. Next time, I would make sure to stay longer. Highly recommended.

The hotel is situated directly on beautiful Narigama beach and features a pool. The hotel manager, Holger, and his team were very helpful and friendly, and accommodated our early arrival with no issue. For the price, the hotel more than delivers what is promised.

Location on the beach was very nice, big balcony and very spacious and clean room. The staff was very helpful especially Bobby who helped us with lot of information in and around Hikkaduwa mainly regarding turtles. Breakfast was simple and nice

There was no hot water in the bathroom every time you have to tell the staff to on the gyser from outside and wait for 15 minutes to get Luke warm water There was a phone but it did not work so every time you have to go down and search for staff to tell him to on the switch for hot water

Vriendelijk personeel, prima kamers, fijne en rustige locatie aan het strand. Ontbijt is tot 10h maar wij schrokken om 1015h wakker. Was geen probleem en konden nog even rustig ontbijten. Was erg lekker! Vertrokken ‘s ochtends heel vroeg weer en kregen nog een ontbijtboxje mee. Erg attent!

Staff were friendly. Amazing value for money. I had an amazing room overlooking the beach for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was so delicious and cooked individually to each person. It was generous too. I loved sunbathing just outside my room. Room was quiet and clean too. I look forward to staying here again!

The entrance to the hotel can be improved. This didn’t affect my stay but I would recommend it.

I booked a beachfront room and it was worth the extra cost. I could hear the ocean at night and see the ocean when I woke up. Breakfast was delivered to my patio every morning and it was a delicious breakfast.

The room was pretty basic for a beachfront resort. They should make it have a bit more personality.

Все, как и описано ранее в других отзывах, фото соответствуют. Брали номер с видом на море, так как хотелось именно этого (на приложенном фото обвел кружочком). Сто долларов за ночь (две ночи). И,мне кажется,оно того стоило.

Должны были или нет - не знаю, но бесплатную воду на следующий день не принесли, мусор за два дня не забрали. Но это не имеет большого значения для меня.
