Estábamos ( mi esposo, yo y mi hijo mayor de edad) en el jacuzzi junto a 3 señoras con una bebé de menos de. 1 año. Todos disfrutando sin problemas y llegó el guardia a sacarnos porque era jacuzzi familiar. Las reglas no son claras. Significa que si no tengo hijo menor de edad no puedo estar ahí? Saco a las otras dos señoras porque no jban acompañadas de una menor de edad y solo dejo a la señora con la bebé, cuando supuestamente solo mayores de 5 años se permite. No hubo criterio para esa indicación. Arruino un momento muy ameno familiar sin razón alguna. Muy mal hecho y sin criterio. Reglamento poco claro

Unfortunately, the check-in experience was a completely different story. The staff made what should have been a simple and welcoming process into a nightmare. It was frustrating, stressful, and honestly not the way you want to start a hotel stay. Once we got past the check-in issue, everything else went well and I enjoyed the hotel. I would consider staying here again, but I really hope management works on improving the check-in process and customer service at the front desk. A better first impression would have made a huge difference in my overall experience.

Apparently, the whole hotel interior has been remodeled, and it has a nice modern touch without changing the exterior structure of the old hotel. The staff at the pool, as well as in the rooms, is super friendly. The pool area is exceptional. I loved that they had bird recordings. It gives you the feeling that you’re on a beach in Puerto Vallarta.
The only thing I could recommend is that the carpet on the stairs is very old and smells bad. But honestly, it’s a small detail compared to all the great things I saw at this hotel. I was truly impressed, and it exceeded my expectations.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Este hotel lo visito desde hace más de 25 años, y en estas últimas visitas he visto que lo están renovando. Es muy bonito, las habitaciones tienen todo lo necesario y la alberca a pesar de que había mucha gente no se siente apretado.
Las camas no son para nada cómodas, ni las almohadas. Tal vez deberían renovar eso también

The only thing I would say is that I feel they need to add another bar tender or 2 when there is a lot of people in the resort. It would take 10-15 if not more just to get 2 beers or 2 shots because there was only one bartender and he was serving both the pool and restaurant.

¿Cuándo llegué a recepción me recibieron muy amables. Me pidieron mi nombre y cuando supieron que mi reservación era por parte de una aplicación me trataron diferente. Me hicieron esperar hasta las puras 3:00 de la tarde, cuando había gente que llegó después de mí y ya estaba haciendo check in, primero que yo!! eso no me pareció bien y la tv de mi recarga esta super vieja el resto estuvo excelente no creo reservar de nuevo por aquí!

The hotel was beyond picky, when they say no smoking they also mean no vaping even outside on the balcony or outside by the pool area. Drinks were beyond pricy for what tasted like a cup of just juice. Just a heads up DO NOT MOVE THE FURNITURE!!! You will be charged even if you move a chair. Lighting to the room was not good at all. Had to open the curtains all the way because there was not enough light

The compressor of the hotel and casino are right outside of lower number rooms and won't stop all day and night. There's one light that doesn't turn off all the way, so the room will never be fully dark. The pool is really cold, and there are rules for the hot tubs that are not enforced to all guests

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Since I live in Ensenada, this one-night stay was a mini-vacation for me. The facilities are absolutely the best. The food is top-notch, and last night I have to praise 2 of your people for their Outstanding jobs. The manager Edgar was everywhere but when I sat down for dinner he was very attentive. Also the young man Aaron was doing a great job taking care of people Inside and Outside at the pool area.
The only negative thing would be : As a Local it would be nice if locals could get a discount when they stay there. Have us bring a rent receipt with our ID. I would probably stay more than once or twice a year if we received a local discount.
