Reviewed Jan 15, 2026Very clean & comfortable stay. Spacious sized rooms and presented like the advertising photos. Good range of breakfast selection however most items were the same on both mornings we were there.
Seeing staff pick their noses particularly those on the restaurant areas. Travelling in Vietnam I can see that pricking noses seem to be a common accepted thing however I would expect more better standard from this hotel. Note the staff were all very helpful and friendly. It would be helpful to have an iron and iron board available for guest use.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Stayed at Phu Cuong in connection with a business trip in November 2025. The hotel i nice, rooms are quite big and clean, the same goes for the bathroom. In the lobby there is a small cafe serving coffee and cold drinks, very nice - also possible to sit outside. Breakfast is good, some western dishes available. The hotel is located central in Ca Mau. All in all a good hotel to stay at if visiting Ca Mau

Reviewed Dec 25, 2025We had a great stay at Phu Cuong Hotel overall. The service was excellent and the location is very convenient, making it easy to get around. The staff were absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Love, love the staff! However, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. The bathroom needs more attention, especially with bleaching and deep cleaning. The sink was quite dirty, and the corners of the shower also needed better cleaning. We were also a bit disappointed that there was no coffee provided in the room. When we requested coffee, we were only given one sachet, which had to be shared between two people. Despite these small issues, the hotel offers extremely good service and is in a great location. With a little more attention to cleanliness and room amenities, it would be an even better experience

Reviewed Dec 11, 2025Das Hotel liegt zentral in Ca Mau und ist schon im Eingangsbereich sehr beeindruckend. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, sauber und sehr groß. Es gibt ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet. Der Preis ist für die Hotelkategorie hervorragend.
Wir wollten eine Tour zum U Minh Ha Nationalpark buchen. Das Hotel hat dazu auch Informationen und angeblich eine eigene Tour dorthin, konnte uns jedoch beim Buchen der Tour nicht helfen sondern wies lediglich darauf hin, man solle selbst mit dem Veranstalter Kontakt aufnehmen. Das fanden wir für ein 4 Sterne Hotel etwas schwach...

Op de bovenste etage verdient de sauna, zwembad wat wat meer aandacht, is een beetje vergeten locatie.

Reviewed Nov 14, 2025We’ve always loved staying at Phu Cuong Hotel in Cà Mau — the service and the people are truly wonderful, and that’s why we keep coming back. However, one thing that really needs attention is the bathroom. The sink and shower could use a proper bleach clean, as they tend to get mouldy. It would make a big difference to the overall experience. Another small suggestion: it would be great if Phu Cuong could provide an iron in the rooms. Most hotels offer this, so it would be a helpful addition for guests. Other than that, it was an exceptional stay as always. Thank you, Phu Cuong!

There is a list of 20 something items that you need to make sure they are present in the room after you checked in. If you don’t itemize them, at checkout and if missing, you may be liable for them.

Most of the staff does't speak english, but you can do with Google translator.
