The room size is quite large, especially the bathroom. The freestanding tub is nice!
The hotel is dated and can use some TLC and remodeling. The carpet is old and stained. Furnishing style is very dated.
Nothing i like about this property
It’s dirty with odd decoration.
Vị trí tốt. Nhân viên nhiệt tình. Tivi có nhiều kênh truyền hình
Cơ sở vật chất cũ. Sàn còn những vết dơ
Hotel ist die Jahre gekommen . Ameisen 🐜 Zu viele unechte dreckige Blumen in der Halle !
Poor customer service and staff not polite
Very bad customer service. I will not come back or recommened to other's

Comfortable but reception staff don’t try very much
Staff not particularly friendly or helpful. I accept I don’t speak Vietnamese but staff appear disinterested when I asked questions
Great place , so posh
All good
Amazing comfortable room and bed so nice
Nothing all good
Entrance was grand. Close to the bus station
No English folder with instructions e.g. how to use tv, wifi code, was there room service, local attractions. No tea or coffee or cups or spoons. Tv remote needed replacing. No hot water.
Near the Ca Mau airport
Aircon absolutely filthy my wife have the flu pretty bad
Clean. Good balcony view, good breakfast with variety. Nice reception staffs. Nearby food places within walking distance. Nice gym and pool though I didn't use it.
Nothing.
Location, value for money 👍
Good front desk (Google translate) excellent pool and good adult gym free to use. It's a wedding hotel and rather nice
Breakfast ends at 8,30
In a city of very little English speaking trying to hire a motorbike 🏍 wasn't easy lol , many thanks to Security for organising my ride & many thanks to Google Translate 👍 overall the hotel was a pleasant experience however I did have 2 weddings during my stay & they can get noisy The pool was good & the gym was very good ! Staff tried hard & were very friendly
there are some mice in my room
My friend booked this hotel for my business in Ca Mau .i was told that thus is 4 stars hotel but when i arrived the reception gave me a room without window and very moldy i asked to change another room after discuss with the receptionist then she gave me a room with window . The hotel is like 2 -3 stars maximum as its service and its room is very outdated and moldy and most of rooms here without window as they builded the hotel for a long time.the bell boy name Hung who's very helpful and help me to rent a car to Ca Mau Cape with very reasonable price . Breakfast is basic and nothing soecial at all. Next time i may stay in another hotel
Good service
Mice place
Large room. Quiet.
Bathroom is smelly. Not enough soap. Left over beer can from previous occupants. Dirty glasses. Stained faucet.
The air conditioning workd well bed was comfortable, large room
Room cleaning is very basic, the water was in consistent sometimes it's cold and sometimes it's too hot.
Location
Not clean. Shower not working properly. All issues not solved as requested.
large room nice bathroom comfy bed decent breakfast
ants, small but seen often, on bed and around the room, not many but still have and was a bit annoying, we got 2 rooms, both have ants there is a church nearby that ring a large bell every hour, can be a bit annoying but not overly loud or anything
The people are very nice and the service is excellent. I would stay there again on my next trip to Ca Mau. -Andy
Stayed here as part of an organised cycle trip through the Mekong Delta. Although a little over the top the rooms were very nice, large with a very comfy bed. Also has a rooftop pool who h we used. Decent breakfast too.
シャワーはお湯出ません。 部屋には大量のアリがいました。
There was no hot water in my room. The staff didn’t really make much effort to look after you. The restaurant didn’t have anything we wanted (despite it being on the menu) and the ‘massage’ spa was definitely a brothel - no qualified masseuse there!
Just stayed overnight. Staff friendly, helpful and pleasant
no hot water in the room. staff would check it in the evening, they didn‘t. same situation in the morning. instead of going to manage it seriously they came twice to my room to check it like i‘m just too stupid how to use the tap. 2nd problem: by booking i ordered local seasonal fruits for breakfast (because i’m vegan and it’s hard to get something right in a hotel) and refered on it by check in: „the manager will check it“ - only an empty phrase. After hours i got some pieces of watermelon and mango even though are many kinds at the market. in fairness the manager she organized to fix a flat tire on my motorbike, they paid it and i got a little cash back which i gave to a poor child countryside.
I have 5 days business trip in Ca Mau city, my company booking here but I can’t stay here more than 1 day, because a moldy and very noisy voice from bar club or karaoke service. It still up to 10 PM. That’s terrible. I from HCM city. I will never come again Anh Nguyet hotel P/s: I must change hotel on tomorrow morning.
From the moment we arrived in the wonderful lobby we recieved nothing but wonderful service from all the staff, the ladies on the reception counter were glad to answer all our questions, our room was called the throne room, and as such we had thrones to sit on instead of chairs the bed was very large and very comfortable, all the meals in the restaurant were very delicious ,public transport is very close, and there is a taxi rank right outside, very nice hotel to stay in ca mau
The hotel is close to public transport. The majestic entrance really impressed my friends with real friendly staff. We booked without paying upfront yet they kept our room available in the holiday season even we came to check in late at night, 9pm to be precise. The quadruple room is spacious, clean, with nice lighting. We had the best sleep after a long day on taxi travelling across the Mekong Delta. Breakfast included. I came across to have a glimpse at the deluxe double next door and its like a royal suite. Definitely will recommend to anyone.
The issue I personally disliked about the hotel, is the odor in every level. It smells like sewage. The VIP rooms are spacious, but the furniture is old and some if it are not fit for use. The towels in the bathroom are not properly washed and has stains. And this was the best hotel in Ca Mau recommended by locals.
The Anh Nguyet has always been comfortable, operated by a service oriented and attentive family. English spoken. But now more luxury hotels are moving into the city and Anh Nguyet Hotel is building a luxury wing to compete.
Stayed here for one night on our tour of the region. That was one night too many. Rooms are old, and may contain wildlife (cockroaches, flies...). We had to change rooms because of roaches. The rooms are rather dark, small bathroom, also not well-lit. Pillows are too big and uncomfortable to lay your head on. Probably better off sleeping without it. This place mainly hosts weddings and other loud functions. We were on the third floor, and could still hear the music very well. Walls and doors are not very sound-proof, as you can hear guests talking and walking through the halls. There is a clock tower within hearing distance, going off every hour. Wi-fi was terrible in our room (301); worked much better from the lobby. Breakfast may look appetising, but doesn't taste so. We didn't get massages, but probably wouldn't want to here... It's a smoking hotel. No place is off-limits. They'll sit in the restaurant and smoke, or in the hallways. Pretty much anywhere, and won't care if you don't like it. Unfortunately, there seems to be no incentive for them to upgrade/improve, as there's not a lot of competition in the town. To end on a positive note though, the staff are quite friendly and helpful.
Hotel offers reasonable rates for triples. Most rooms have a single and a queen bed to sleep three comfortably for under USD 35 net. Good spread of buffet breakfast offering plenty of shrimps the local product. Nearby are the picturesque Cao Dai Temple and the Ngoc Minh Temple. Also a short drive away to the Ca Mau Market with some boats around
OK, so this hotel is not going to win any style awards but my room was clean and breakfast was fine. Room was quiet, reception efficient and buffet breakfast staff friendly and helpful. For a one night stay it ticked all the boxes without being outstanding.
This is more of a two-star hotel. Breakfast is not bad, just skip the weird coffee. The main street Tran Hung Dao is around 10 minute walk. While in Ca Mau, look for "Huong Nam" Coffee which makes excellent cappuccino. For the price and location, it's hard to find anything better in this small town, just don't expect too much.
I stayed in this hotel on 9-Apr-14. From outside, it seem marriage function hall, quite decorated, a bit noisy. At reception, a very cold response as they took our passport, when i asked for that, they told they have to show it to police before 9.30PM. Although in morning they returned it during checkout. Room was spacious, ordinary, bathroom below average, fungus on bath curtains, yellowish water. There is no english news channel, mostly local ones. Wi-fi working normal. Breakfast average with limited choice for vegeterians.
We had to stay the night here, to go to the cape, most southern tip of Vietnam . Hotel is very ordinary, breakfast terrible . Rooms very basic, and definitely , DO NOT TAKE MASSAGE !!! Also, for the length of time it takes, don't bother going to Ca Mau and all way to mangroves and cape. It's an all day trip. We did it by speed boat, but really wasn't worth it.
This hotel survives by hosting weddings, sometimes 3 a day. This means noise....a lot of noise from noon to about 9 p.m. The hotel business seems to be ancillary: at least the TVs have recently been upgraded to flat screen. The breakfast is a buffet and below average. I would suggest you go down to the road, turn left and eat at the first restaurant (Truong Khang) where they serve a delicious fish porridge soup in the morning (Chao Ca), number 3 or 4 on the menu. The hotel charges separate rates for foreigners and locals (half price). It has a fly problem in the dining and lobby area. The management are sticklers for wanting to keep your passport. They claim it is for reporting to the police but maybe also to prevent guests running away without paying. The staff themselves are mostly friendly and helpful. Laundry is same day. The main problem is that there is not much competition in Ca Mau for this hotel to need to upgrade and improve their services.
This is a pretty basic, get-what-you-pay-for, 3-star experience at USD$35 per night. You can see from the photos that my room (#204) was a little dated and tacky, but certainly not offensive. My colleagues told me I got the “nice” room… Despite being a smoking room, the smell wasn’t that bad… overpowering air-freshener, but I’m extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and I wouldn’t complain about the air in my room. Good air-con, firm double-bed, sparse mini-bar and two free bottles of water – no ironing board & iron. TV looked big and new, but didn’t try. A quirky feature of the bathroom is the waterfall that travels down the side of the bath to create a hazardous ocean on the bathroom floor! I had to mop it up with the bathmat, towel and hand-towel, and there were still litres of water on the floor! Best of all… free wireless internet in the room… better than the 5-star hotel I just came from in HCMC! Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. Breakfast was pretty good for a 3-star offering. I would give this place 3-stars automatically, however the shower had absolutely no hot water during both evening and morning showers… I had to splash warm water from the basin to have a shower. Even 3-star hotels should have hot water in the shower… for that reason; I’m giving 2-stars.
Its Ok ..I was unsure what to expect when you are so far south in Vietnam in Ca Mau. The rooms were clean and tidy, the air conditioning could have been better. If your are on your own and wanting to eat the hotel is very limited, Although Ca Mou did not see a lot of Westerners, I found a few eating places close by, the food was very good, although not to sure what I ordered. The hotel has internet connection at reception, the staff are very helpful when you want to use the internet, and can understand English. On business, it was acceptable as I could communicate back home, and the hotel had a friendly feeling to it. Breakfast was traditional, but had the options of omelettes, as I was unsure of the local food.
The hotel is old old old.while the service staff are pretty good (and the front desk can speak some english), the rooms are old old old and the carpet probably hasn't been changed in the hotel's existence. Various parts of the toilet did not work (eg taps dont turn right, stopper doesnt work well, no hot only lukewarm water). One redeeming feature was the 50" flat panel tv, but I won't be coming back. Oh, and the 'spa' on the 4th floor seems awfully popular with the local men. There are at least 9 other hotels in Ca Mau thanks to the seafood industry boom in recent years, so just try ANY other hotel - at the least they will have newer carpet. Just google "Hotels in Ca Mau City". There's even a spanking new one across the road "Ca Mau Hotel" I think. I'm going to stay there next time.
We receiveda a free shuttle from tha Ca Mau aiport to the hotel. The staff were friendly. The room is just dirt and old. We had to ask for extra linens and there are some cachcroaches in the room. The air-con took a while to work and the bed was uncomfortable. There was a "massage" room in the same floor, but the layout seem dubious. Breakfast was average. Most of the food seemed to be leftovers from the night before. Unfortunately this is one of the better hotels in Ca Mau. There is not many hotels to choose from.
I stayed at this hotel for 10 days in October and another 8 days in November 2009. I live in Australia, but am American, and knew nothing of Ca Mau when I arrived. I quickly learned that it was one of only 3 hotels in Ca Mau to consider when striving for hotel standards more like USA. The hotel has a 3 star rating by the Vietnamese government, but realistically it is more a 2 star. (The "other two" are 2 star.) My co-workers informed the "other two" hotels are about the same, or lower in quality. (Ca Mau is not a tourist area, so you won't find any posh place to stay in this town! The hotel is 10 minutes from the Ca Mau airport, and they provide free shuttle to/from airport. The hotel is walking distance from the town center and the interesting markets. There is an ATM machine across street, so getting cash is easy. The free breakfast buffet is adequate (included in room rate), mostly Vietnames food, but enough "western" choices to satisfy my American tastes (eggs, toast, orange drink, bacon). The staff was great, and spoke enough English to help me arrange taxis, plan sight seeing, and faithfully cleaned my laundry each day (included in room rate). They have wireless and plug in internet that worked well. The air conditioning is fine. Using Skype to call home worked great. There are frequent afternoon and evening weddings in the hotel banquet rooms, so expect some noisy afternoons and evenings, but everything is quiet by 10pm. If you are traveling to Ca Mau and need an easy to find, safe, relatively clean place to stay, this will work well for you! Just remember it is not a tourist area, so adjust your expectations.
