Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Wij hadden een appartement met lift, wasmachine en droger. Het was schoon, ruim en op loopafstand van het centrum. Ook een parkeergarage met lift direct naast het hotel. Waar ook een supermarkt in zit zodat we ons eigen ontbijt hebben kunnen kopen. Het ligt aan een rangeerterrein waar wij geen last van hadden. De slaapkamers lagen namelijk aan de andere kant. Savonds hebben we vanaf het balkon genoten van de vele verschillende treinen die langs kwamen. We hebben 1 avond in het libanesische restaurant van het hotel gegeten. Het eten was voortreffelijk. Bediening erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Ein tolles Hotel, sehr schönes geräumiges Zimmer und Bad, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen und Frühstücksbuffet. Nur 10 min zu Fuß zum Bahnhof. Ruhig, da weder direkt an der Bahn noch an der Hauptstr.
Moderne Beleuchtung, heißt man kann nur Bildschirme lesen aber kein Papierstück. Im Prinzip sind Lampen einstellbar, dann wäre ein Buch oder ähnliches zu lesen, leider funktioniert das nicht (zu lose oder fest eingestellt)

Noisy, not outside but other guests! The soundproofing can't be great as I could hear people stomping about. This was hard to ignore as it lasted hours. The rug by the bed didn't have any gripper so I slipped on it when I walked in and the shower tiles have no grip at all on the floor. I'd be worried for older people with less mobility as I felt I nearly fell over several times between the shower and the rug. I'd also hoped for a kettle/coffee making facilities and usb points.

Wir hatten eine Wohnung gemietet, diese war Riesengross, mit allem was benötigt wird, super Bett und extrem viel Platz, die Lage zum Stadtkern ist super und doch sehr Ruhig gelegen.

Ich war nicht wirklich glücklich, dass ich mein E-Bike nirgendwo einstellen konnte, aber ich wusste das vorher und es stand direkt unter meinem Zimmerfenster.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026I liked everything about this property. It’s so very special. The decor, the food, the facilities and best of all the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Thankfully they have an 11:00 o’clock checkout so I maximised my enjoyment of the bed!
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the property, staff or food. Aside form it’s listed as a 3 star; it should beat least a four or more!!

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Buffet breakfast was excellent. Morning staff were friendly and efficient. Although the hotel is located right next to the many train tracks it was not noisy. We had 3 rooms, one was a normal hotel room, the other two were generous sized well appointed apartments for families. We were able to walk to the Castle, to street theatre, to Lake Thun and to the free bus for our visits to Interlaken, the Emmental area and a local beach. Was a short walk to the CO-OP so we could access and prepare our own food for lunch and dinner. They had an outdoor play area for the children and great views of the mountains.

J'ai réservé une chambre triple avec un lit double et un lit simple. Or la chambre comprenait en réalité un lit double et un lit pliant. Dans les autres hôtels cela s'appelle une chambre double avec un lit d'appoint. Cela convient pour un jeune enfant, pas un ado de 17 ans. La chambre est un peu plus grande que les autres chambres doubles, mais c'est uniquement la surface au sol, la chambre est mansardée, sous les combles. Un lit pliant c'est inférieur à un canapé convertible qui est inférieur à un lit... Je n'avais pas pris d'hôtel avec un canapé pour la 3e personne, ce n'était pas pour me retrouver avec un lit d'appoint.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026If you love trains, this is the place for you! You can almost reach out and touch them right from the balcony. It's really nice when you have the windows open you can hear them, especially at night when they are working on the trains.
There was no view except of the train tracks. You also had to purchase your own laundry detergent & they only provided dishwasher soap for 2 days. It's very noisy at night when you open the windows to cool down the apartment.
