Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Nice room, with a comfortable bed, with plenty of pillows. Shower and toilet area quite large. Rooms were separate from the bar area, so no noise transferred from there. The food on offer was very good, although we didn't try the breakfasts. There is car parking around the the rear of the hotel, however, this is not a part of the hotel.
Nothing much to note really, a pleasant stay.

One of your staff took an order and then came back and told us the price of it as if to say could we afford it we felt degraded as the couple behind us ordered the same and no mention of the price to them, Thursday night we got a hair dryer from reception and nearly caught fire when turned on it was faulty got a bad fight

The lack of a lift was a little challenging as we were on 2nd floor, but the addition of an aircon'd room in a heatwave was brilliant.

Reviewed May 30, 2026The property was very clean and comfortable. It was right on the centre of town so was handy for everything. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. The guy who checked us in realised my 80 mum would struggle with the stairs offered that the next day once a lower room became available they would swap us. The next day true to their word, when the room became vacant, it was cleaned and they even helped us move down with the cases. Thank you 🙏🏽 Breakfast was delicious and the coffee good 😊 The staff serving were so friendly and every morning they were there with a smile. They even sorted us out with a packed lunch to take on the coach when we were leaving. A big thank you to all for making our stay so special 🤗
One little drawback about being in the centre of the town was the noise from the road. Not the hotels fault but was woken early a few mornings with deliveries and street cleaners.
